Experiencia fantástica: I have been with this office for a few years and they’ve always all been kind. I went in today and from the front desk woman who was so nice and knowledgeable about the things I was singing to the lady who did my X-ray who was super friendly and made me feel good about being there and the hygienist Naomi is amazing. She’s cleaned my teeth a few times and does a great job at educating me on what she’s doing and what I can do to improve my dental hygiene which she said was great.

Experiencia negativa: 2026: Wish they could keep dentists. They always leave and start their own practice. Only one dentist and they are part time right now. They have picked up alot of the closed dental center of NW Ohio patients too... so scheduling is at least a couple weeks to month out Sept 25, 2023 Staff is still nice, although there is a bunch of new faces again. Biggest complaint I have is when you call the local office to talk to somebody, instead calls are answered by a corporate call center that handles calls for all CD offices, not the actual local office you are being seen at like... they previously used to allow you to do which makes talking to local office staff and getting scheduled for soonest appointments more difficult because corporate schedules you farther out then local office would (2 weeks or more compared to same Day or next day). December 2022: There has been a bit of staff turnover since last update. New dentist and new office manager (third in 2 years) and new assistants. Not sure I'm as satisfied as I was the last review especially with call backs from the office when you leave a message or trying to reach the local office staff via phone. June 8, 2020: Always great care from these girls. I love being able too come in (same day) and get assurance everything is ok with porcelain incisor despite my general irritation.

Experiencia positiva: My third time being there, the dental nurse,are every knowledgeable of your needs. Thank you all for making it possible for me to get my smile back . Well I'm back to rate my teeth I received back in 1-23-2025, Thursday. They are the worst teeth ever. They look like they came from a second hand out of business dental office I have the teeth, just can't put them in my mouth. I don't know anyone else's experience but my own, so I'm speaking for me.

Experiencia negativa: I’d like to explain why I left a low score. I am a dentist myself with over 10 years of clinical experience in my country, so I understand proper dental procedures. Unfortunately, my experience at your clinic was very disappointing. I had multiple fillings done, and although I asked for the doctor to perform them, but the filling procedure was done by the assistant, but the results were poor. The fillings left me with loose contacts, food impaction, and significant sensitivity. One filling even failed twice and had to be redone. In addition, a simple Class V cavity on a molar was prepared very aggressively, removing far too much tooth structure, almost like a crown preparation. This has left me with severe sensitivity to cold, sweet, and even normal drinking water. While the staff were polite when I returned, I was later told not to come back and instead to go see a specialist. Unfortunately, this has left me with unresolved issues and permanent discomfort. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend the clinic I would like to add an update to my previous review. About a month after posting it, my second restoration fell out, which was very disappointing. Additionally, with the third restoration, I have noticed a significant overhang that has been causing discomfort. I believe it is important to share this follow-up experience so others have a complete and accurate understanding of my treatment outcome.

Experiencia positiva: I was seen back in july 2025 for a simple replacement denture. I was told it would take a few weeks for the lab to create my teeth and send them. They 3d scanned my mouth and sent off the scan for denture fabrication. My first appointment after was canceled canceled and I was told the lab never sent my “case”. I was slightly aggravated but also understanding and agreed to reschedule. Another month went by and I was unable to eat hardly anything due to-my broken maligned old denture causing lacerations in my mouth and could only chew on one side C because it is my three left molars that are broken off. It is now Dec 2025 They have cancelled every single appointment due to the case not arriving, the general dentist going home I’ll twice and the latest reason because the general dentist was leaving town and I would need to reschedule. I have lost 50lbs from not being able to eat. I have called and requested a refund since the last cancellation since I paid in full on my first visit. EDIT*** 12/4/2025 I was Contacted by management and Asked to come in ASAP, Within 24 hours I was seen, and I was scheduled for my next appointment. The staff was polite and considerate the dentist was Wonderful to work with. I am very grateful that These reviews Are being read and that corner dental Stepped up And made things right. I will keep amending this As my experience continues to develop with corner dental. As of today, I will be bumping it up To a three star rating pending Completion of my case. Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed with my experience there so far. First I waited months for an appointment. Then a few days before they called me and told me they messed up with the schedule and I couldn't come in on the day they put me down for because the dentist wouldn't be in. So they tried to schedule me again for months out. I've been waiting for my first set of dentures now for almost a year. So I had to go in person to get a sooner appointment. When I finally got in they didn't even know what I was there for. And they hadn't requested approval from my insurance yet. Then they wouldn't make me an appointment until they heard back from the insurance. That was almost two months ago and still haven't heard anything. I've been dealing with no teeth for too long now. Not only is eating difficult but the hit to my self esteem is hard. Very hurtful and frustrating.

Experiencia negativa: Worst place ever They keep changing the appointments Not ready for your visits Happened many times with me and my family going there sitting on the examination room and after 15 or 20 minutes they come and tell us that the crown is not ready or our appointment is not confirmed or the doctor is not available every time they have an excuse !! The doctor over there (Sylvania clinic) is very nice the problem is not with her , the problem with the staff!

Experiencia negativa: Never get your teeth done here! Worst experience I’ve ever had, I got my crown done here and the doctor hurt my gums really bad and made the crown extremely high even after I told her it was uncomfortable and high and wanted her to fix it, she didn’t do anything about it. Another experience was after getting my teeth done, it’s always wiggling and aching , even though I brush 2-3 times a day and floss 2x a day. Horrible and unprofessional work, do not recommend, I would rather you spend your money and time somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Run!!!. Seriously. To start, waited over 30 minutes to get taken back. I understand running behind, but that’s when you give a heads up as a courtesy. Then, the room I was in was DISGUSTING. Carpet in a dental office operatory?? What?? WITH STAINS on it?? I don’t know why I didn’t immediately walk out. That was my mistake. Anesthetic cartridges on the ground, hoses looked horrific. Yuck. Then waited another 10+ minutes to see the doctor. And to top it all off, fluoride was brushed on only the top teeth and only on the front sides of the teeth. Won’t be back. Only plus was they took my insurance, but now I’ll be paying out of pocket for somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: Went there for an appt today. There were 5 kids in the office fighting,crying,ect... nothing being done to stop them. It is a very small office and these kids were taking up seats that shouldve been for patients. I had to sit on my walker and now my back is killing me. Never got to see the dentist. He had the kids in there and they were having trouble staying them. I finally had to leave because my tarps bus came back for me. I'll never go there again. People should not have to put up with listening to other peoples kids acting like brats. It's not right. I paid money to get there and couldnt get seen they were running so late. I wouldve rated it 0 stars if it was available.

Experiencia negativa: Do NOT use this company!! A family member had a tooth extraction here, and they were having excessive pain and bleeding that would not resolve. I tried contacting the office literally multiple times every day for a week and the doctor never returned the call, never checked to see what happened or bothered to get them back in to be seen if it was ok or not. Now we are going to have to pay out of pocket to go to the emergency room or urgent care, because this office is so deeply negligent. Their phone service is very nice and friendly, but the doctors are absolutely incompetent and irresponsible.

Experiencia negativa: Got there 1045 ( 15 mins before my appointment started ) then for the next hour and a half watched person after person who came in after me get a room. I was stuck in waiting room for hour and a half with no explanation. Then when I finally did get in the room she told me they couldn't do a teeth cleaning without xrays (which I'm pregnant so I didn't want to take the risk) so I left with nothing done after waiting 2 hours. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. I honestly think they just didn't feel like doing the work.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had multiple great experiences at Corner Dental on Sylvania Ave. The staff is always kind, receptive, and communicative. While sometimes the way insurance works can be a hassle, their service and professionalism definitly make it worth it. I highly recommend!

Had to find a new dentist because I couldn't keep taking days off for their apts and then have them cancelled constantly and then not being able to get me in for another 6+ months for even a cleaning

Experiencia negativa: I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Corner Dental Sylvania. My son had an appointment scheduled for today, January 20th, 2025, at 5:00 PM, which I confirmed via text message four days prior. Despite arriving 26 minutes early, we were informed upon arrival that a double-booking had occurred, and my son's appointment could not be accommodated. I find this unacceptable. The explanation offered—that the double-booking was intentional to account for potential no-shows—is deeply concerning and suggests a lack of professionalism and consideration for patients' time.

Experiencia negativa: Incompetent and unprofessional, you can not trust this staff to complete even the simplest of dental procedures. They do not answer their phone or return messages. the interior is filthy and chairs are held together by tape. If you think you might be saving money by going to CD instead of an actual professional that cares you are mistaken. Avoid at all costs.

Experiencia negativa: Steer clear. I swore 10 years ago I'd never go back to Corner Dental but my insurance options were limited and I figured enough time had gone by and it's even a different location, so fine. Nope. They're rude as hell and tried giving me 16 xrays "because insurance will pay for it." Gross money-grabbing tactics and zero customer service. I'll go somewhere else and pay out-of-pocket because this whole practice is a joke.

Experiencia negativa: I’m not as pleased as I should be I was supposed to been schedule for a cleaning but since I was pregnant even tho my dr okayed it they still denied me fast fwd my baby is going on 3 months my tooth cracked over the weekend and now my infected tooth is hurting while I take care of a new baby my son had a couple cavities they filled some and now was bc they didn’t have enough doctors he still have those same cavities if not more bc they have to schedule the appointment far out it’s real disappointing

Said we can try to file the other down to match more, but you probably don’t care. I do care about what it looks like. Why else would I want it repaired ?

And Naomi the lady whole did my cleaning was pretty sweet we had a nice conversation about things to do in the fall. I appreciate the care I get at corner dental

Experiencia negativa: But my appointment for cleaning only to find out I wasn’t booked for cleaning just for an examination with a bunch of pictures. After that, you’re given a bill of all the work without even experiencing their full services. The service wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best. If I will be returning. Seems more money focused instead of patient care focused.

Experiencia fantástica: So far it's been great my mom had a wonderful experience with them after Aspen dental messed her dentures completely up corner dental was there to get her new ones right away my mom absolutely loves them I'm about to get dentures from them in the next couple months I feel confident they will do a great job definitely recommend corner dental

Experiencia negativa: I have an upcoming coming appointment and quite frankly I'm considering not going back. PM me for details. As far as a cleaning is concerned anyway. Went EXTREMELY FAST, (not even sure my insurance co. Should be billed for this visit) still in parking lot, debating how to navigate a possible future and what that may entail, especially after this post. Even after I made but dental hygienist aware I had liver disease and I bleed easy because my INR is high, continued to extremely quickly and very aggressively "floss" and "polish" I don't know if she misread my character? Maybe I came off the wrong way? Maybe she was having a bad day? ... Anyway.

Experiencia fantástica: Every time I go they are always nice to me! Really informative and seems like they know what they are doing/talking about. The only problem I really have is the wait time. My appt was at 9:30 and I didn’t get called back into a room until 10:30.

Experiencia positiva: The staff is very nice. Dr. A is great. However they have scheduling issues. I waited almost an hour past my appointment time to get my cleaning. I always wait at least 30 minutes. Also besides the scheduling problems. They seem to have staffing issues as appointments are frequently rescheduled by them. It seems better office management is in order.

Experiencia positiva: The dentist in Sylvania is amazing both in "bedside manner " precision and skill. Her accent is also very soothing. The dental assistants are also very talented in what they do and it's almost like art work. I give 4 stars though because the office staff is very dry and continue to cause me issue's with scheduling. Canceled appointment dates, changes in times all of which are never communicated but always blamed on me. I have proof now though so I don't think it'll be happening again.

Experiencia negativa: I had six teeth pulled on Wednesday morning on Sunday I was still in a great deal of pain. I called Monday to get more pain meds and they told me they would call me back. Today is Tuesday they told me the office was closed and I would have to wait until Tomorrow to get help. This is very poor customer service and I am still in a great deal of pain. The phone receptionist did not seem to care.

In my 2 hours of waiting in the office, I only got x-rays and the doctor showing a student how to put information about my teeth in a computer I have to come back, fortunately I got a two week appointment this time. Experiencia negativa: I went there about a month ago and the dentist pretty much told me I needed all my teeth pulled. I got a second opinion and this dentist took his time looking at each tooth and he's going to save most of the ones in the front and I already knew my back teeth on the bottom we're going to need pulled so that was no surprise but this place wanted to pull all my teeth out and just give me dentures. I felt like I was rushed in and out of there and they just wanted to pull all my teeth and slap me with dentures without doing the work. My second opinion dentist said that my problems can be probably fixed within three visits which is absolutely amazing. Avoid this place! I'm extremely disappointed in the way I was treated and it seemed like they didn't care about saving my teeth and all they wanted to do was pull them. I even posted before and after pictures of what my new dentist did to save three teeth on the bottom. In my opinion, whatever dentist which was a female, didn't want to do the work and the dentist at On Point dental went above and beyond and even did some work on my good teeth on the bottom by drilling holes into them and filling them with the filler to make them stronger. Why is it that this dentist wanted to pull all my teeth out and fit me with dentures and not do the work. I've been to many dentists and the dentist I don't know which one she was at this location on Sylvania avenue is absolutely horrible and in my opinion, she just didn't want to do the work. I am so glad I got a second opinion so I can save most of my teeth in the front. I'm fully aware that I will be wearing bridges in the back top and bottom, I knew that going in but I was not expecting to hear all my teeth we're going to be pulled and that's why I got a second opinion. This guy did a fantastic job! And he takes Medicaid! Just in case there's any patients out there that cannot find a good dentist who's on Medicaid now you know where to go.

Experiencia negativa: I cannot even give one star. This is the most incompetent office I’ve been to. My temporary crown fell off 4 times. The permanent crown didn’t fit right. I got soaked with the water sprayer. Just a bad experience overall. I was scheduled with the wrong dentist. How many mistakes can they make!

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place! My child had an appointment that was supposedly cancelled due to the doctor calling out sick. They claim to have "called" but definitely did not. They asked that we come back later for the other part of the appointment with a different dentist so we did and arrived 10 minutes early. My child was taken back shortly after. He sat for 47 minutes before the doctor even came in the room. The appointment itself was only suppose to be an hour, yet we waited almost an hour before he was even seen. You expect your patients to be on time for an appointment with a 15 minute grace time after which you will make your patient reschedule BUT it is completely fine to make us wait with ZERO explanation for almost an hour!?! My time is just as important as yours and it is extremely rude and unprofessional to make your patients wait without letting them know why or even checking in with them to see if they have time to wait or need to reschedule. To make it even worst one of the receptionist came to the window and told me she just wanted to give me an update that the dentist was almost done with my son. 5 minutes after this update my son text me that he was still waiting for the dentist to come back in the room. 40 minutes later he is still waiting for anything to be done. I asked to go back but the same receptionist that told me my son was almost done ignored me. I had to step out to call my husband just to calm me down before I made a scene. After I got off the phone I went back in and just walked back and found the room he was in, still nothing done. My blood is boiling. Worst place with incompetent doctors and rude receptionist. Ended up leaving right then. I will NEVER return. Called my insurance company to notify them of this incase they tried to bill for a service not performed like before.

She is always willing to help you and put you at ease. I will be forever grateful for her. She deserves 10 stars alone.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything went wonderful, when I walked in the front desk ladies were immediately waiting for me, they had my paperwork ready. Once I was called the assistant had me so comfortable for my X-rays. The Dentist had me waiting no time. The Dentist came in checked my teeth closer, explained to me everything about my teeth. My next appointment was scheduled and I was out the door smiling happy. Awesome team.

It took 40 min before I got X-ray done then 20 min of waiting for them to check my gums In which I waited and waited so I left my visit There is no way I should have to wait 1hr just to not get my teeth checked and cleaned I never got to meet my new dentist at all!!!! Not a good experience for a new patient visit!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have always received the best of care at the Sylvania office Corner Dental. They are both highly skilled and able to put you at ease with their soothing gentle ways. I went to another office for several visits because they are near to home and they were fine. But the Sylvania office is just special in the way they treat me. It is worth traveling farther to get the best.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this office and the staff are beyond nice. The only thing I didn't like was the fact I was there from 9:30 to 12:30 3 hours is crazy. I hope my next appointment doesn't take forever. Other than that issue the appointment was everything I expected. Ms Candace was so sweet and comforting. I will definitely be back!

Experiencia fantástica: I loved my experience at Corner Dental! Naomi was very nice and welcoming. I wanted a whitening kit. However, I wanted to be sure that there were no animal products as I am vegan. She didn’t get upset. She expressed that she was pleasantly surprised by the question and did the research to find out. Needless to say, the teeth whitening kits are vegan! Thank you Naomi for being thorough!

Experiencia positiva: My daughter had a great experience at the dentist recently. She was scared and nervous like always. In past visits the hygienist would make her cry. Not this time. Naomi was INCRDEIBLE!! She was kind and took her time during the cleaning. There were no tears at all this time! I would recommend her over and over to anyone that plans on going there. The dentist however, left a lot to be desired. He came in muttered hi checked the teeth said a couple words and left. Not personable at all, felt like it was an assembly line with him.

Experiencia negativa: Received a root canal two years ago, been having issues with it since because it wasn’t done properly. It’s been infected and painful. Now I’m loosing a back tooth, other dentists are saying to not go back to any Corner Dental because they do not the best job.

I thank this office in doing their due diligence in this manner. I was upset at first and can admit this. Them reaching out and having a discussion about my questions really helped out a lot. Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely LOVED my experience. From the minute I walked in until the minute I walked out. I had a broken molar and had to have a crown put on. Everyone from the front desk, to the Dental Hygienist, to the Dentist herself I would give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Bottom line.. I found myself a new dentist to go to.

Experiencia negativa: I arrived 15 minutes early they were 15 minutes late for my appointment. I have bad gage reaction so they could not take x-rays couldn't use x-ray machine that goes around because it wasn't working. Then wanted to charge me for doing nothing until finally made the lady in billing understand that they did nothing but refer me to someone else. So I wasted 45 minutes from the original time of my appointment until I left. Would not recommend this place.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible office and staff. Front desk staff is welcoming and helpful. The doctor was kind and friendly and answered all of my questions regarding my children. The hygienist did an amazing job relating with my kids and making them feel comfortable. She made it fun and exciting for them. They can’t wait to come back to Corner Dental Sylvania.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t praise this dentist office enough. The staff and the dentist herself are amazing! I came to this place after a horrible experience at another dentist office and they not only helped me but got me in fast and made me feel so relaxed. They are so kind and friendly. All the way from the front desk to the back. I would choose them in a heartbeat. You never wait long and they check on you the whole time. They talk to you through your the whole process of whatever you’re getting done.

Experiencia negativa: Dentist came in an hour late, after 45 minutes of waiting Naomi the dental assistant finally came into the room to let me know that the dentist was going to be late. The dentist came in at 9:50 and never apologized for the long wait did not do a thorough check on my son. Prior to that Naomi expressed that they are unable to clean teeth until the dentist is actually in the building but ensured me that my son would be the first person she clean. She never came back in. I asked how much longer the wait would be and they wanted me to wait an additional 10-15 minutes. I checked in at 8:45am. Ridiculous! I will definitely be looking for a new dentist. The manager was very rude and did nothing to ease how I felt. She was very aggressive when I shared my concerns and when I told her the least they could have did was communicated that the dentist was running behind. I even offered to reschedule my son appointment and they kept refusing. As a healthcare worker and nursing student I’m aware that communicating with your patient goes along way.

Experiencia negativa: They take so much time, my appointment was at 2 and they made me wait till 3 outside so they clean the room they claimed. Also, not enough nurses and the reception lady is mean and would not tell me what's happening or why am I delayed until after an hour of waiting outside clueless of what's happening. Wanted to leave because of the disrespect and frustration. They also bruised my cheek and made my gum bleed while filling my tooth, the nurse does not have enough practice.

Experiencia negativa: they cancel appointments without notice. have you drive alllll the way to the appointment to tell u they can’t do nun because your insurance was out. take 6 appointments for a root canal. dentist leaves in the middle of procedure so he has to numb u when he starts again. charged my credit card for a service i never got ! they sweep everything under the rug. dentist left wood in my gum and i was in pain for days ! i took it out myself. time for the cap on my root canal (that still hurts like hell) which is weird there shouldn’t be a nerve. go to get the cap they cancel the appointment and tell me they don’t know why. so i finally get there and my insurance lapsed. i don’t recommend i will get my money from the credit card stunt and will never come back EVER !

Experiencia positiva: Canceled two of my appointments and each appt were 4 months apart. I am so frustrated they keep cancelling last minute too. But we were able to reschedule right away so I am thankful for that.

Experiencia negativa: My very first visit was to get a cavity filled which went smoothly . My second visit was rescheduled due to them not having any time to see me ..after 20-30 mins of me sitting in the waiting room . My third visit a few days ago was my LAST . The male doctor is very nice and gentle but his assistant is rough and always seems to be rushing , she even dropped the cavity filling tool on me and didn’t care to say sorry lol . I told her she was hurting me & pinching my lip, her response was she’s almost done. Well I left with my mouth bleeding till later on that night , cuts on my gums and cheek where she was filling my cavity . Then, she didn’t even schedule my next appointment which was needed & usually is done after the appointment is finished . Now 3 days later my mouth hurts even worse bc of the cuts . Not sure of her name but she’s terrible and definitely doesn’t know how to fill a damn cavity either. My filling isn’t even nor smooth .

Experiencia negativa: the dentist messed up the numbing needle when filling my cavity and i've been unable to eat or speak for almost a week. this is a very basic procedure that i'm unsure how he was so incompetent at doing. i have gotten multiple cavities filled and have never had my gum so torn up or swollen after. last time i came to get a cleaning, the cleaning assistant also forgot to floss my teeth after. very unprofessional and incompetent dentists at the corner dental SYLVANIA office

Experiencia fantástica: I had a cleaning with Naomi. She was very friendly and spent extra time explaining different aspects of my dental health and answered each and every one of my questions. This was something that nobody had taken the time to do before and it was much appreciated. Thanks Naomi!

Experiencia positiva: The assistant had little to no bedside manner, the dentist was short with me and barely spoke at all. The tooth was removed after a brief struggle. I gave 3 stars because the mission was completed as advertised. Work needs to be done to improve bedside manner.

Experiencia negativa: They were an hour behind and they had to keep retaking my x-rays to get it right I understand inexperienced needs practice I understand that but they could have an experienced person with Her to teach her the correct way to take x-rays so the patient doesn't have to keep waiting they were busy so they were running 45 minutes late. Then the dentist after drilling and wiggling the tooth around for awhile he says that tooth isn't moving very well. I'm going to refer you to a surgeon and give you some pain medication. So now I'm in pain and when I arrived there I was in No pain.but on the plus side they gave me my copay back.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very anxious about getting the deep cleaning done and they listened. They gave me shots to numb my gums and it was totally worth it! I'm going back for sure!! My smile is improving with every visit! Thank you Naomi!!!

Experiencia positiva: I went in a half hour early got seen a half hour late. The girl who cleaned my teeth was nice she did good. I keep asking this place to pull a capped molar that drives me nuts and they wont. The girl who typed all my meds and info in was nice but a lil slow at doing it. The dentist herself really spent no time with me she felt around my face n jaw looked at the inside and that was it. I still have 3cavities that need fillings that were suppose to be filled last year. I had this dental cleaning rescheduled 3times in the last year by them so its been over a year. I really do not like how they run the place but its so hard to get into dentist around ohio.

The lady that took care of me was very nice made me feel comfortable and welcome and I don't care if I had her to grind or adjust my dentures six times she didn't have no problem with it told me if I needed any more adjusting to just come on in I'm glad I chose corner dental

Experiencia negativa: There are better options out there - their policy of not being professional and not sending a "friendly reminder" is ridiculous. Their policy is call you and if you don't return the call quickly (30 minutes or less) the appointment is cancelled. I called back in less than 30 minutes and they still cancelled the appointment !! Also had a case where I made it thru their callback gauntlet and they had a calloff that day so still no appointment !!

Experiencia negativa: First, they cancelled my appointment 4 times. Yesterday I finally got in after waiting a month. My appointment was 4 pm it was 4:30 when I got called back The dentist told me he could only complete one of my fills because they close at 5 and the lidocaine was taking too long to work. Never going back.

Experiencia fantástica: Candice...in the sylvania group is always the best! She has a very personable way to ease the anxiety of being there and all around making it so much easier. I never liked going to the dentist(obviously i have dentures) but i feel like she goes beyond the call of duty to make you comfortable!

Experiencia negativa: Sylvania ABSOLUTELY awful n lazy the doctor told me n 3 previous patients our blood pressure was to high n we needed medical clearance. I go Monday for medical clearance, n Wednesday for my cleaning I would NOT recommend this office at all Male Doctor is lazy, Candice is Amazing n helpful tho the assistant

Experiencia negativa: Want my honest opinion, you got it! I had an appointment at 10 AM when I arrived they told me it need to be moved to 1030 due to requiring more time for the procedure. We were not seen until 11 o’clock. This is the third time they have changed or appointment without ample advanced notice. I was actually text on one date as I was driving to the office that the appointment had been moved an hour and a half later. I am tired of all of the excuses I receive. These appointments have been for my brother, who is special-needs, and it requires scheduling of everybody’s time which nobody at Corner Dental respects. If I could find a different dental office that accepted his insurance we would not be coming here.

Experiencia positiva: Overall, I had a great experience with the dentist, hygienist and other staff. The only problem I had was with the person who checked me in. She was quite unpleasant and off-putting. She seemed uncertain about what she was doing. If she had smiled and said I'm new or I'm not sure how to do that, I don't think I would have had the reaction I had. Honestly, her lack of professionalism and attitude made me question the care I was about to receive.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a horrible experience in the past so was very nervous plus I have some physical issues but Naomi, Amanda, the doctor and a couple of others I'm embarrassed I didn't catch their names were so great with me. Set me right at ease and beautiful results. They also took awesome future care of me at the nest cost. Ty all ❤️

Experiencia negativa: Son visiting while on vacation developed a tooth ache. He had been having extensive dental work at his regular dentist in another state. So, I called and explained his situation asking if he could come in for an emergency filling. Yes, they could get him in on the next day. Once there they did x rays and a full consult on what he needed done on his entire mouth…maybe a root canal or extraction on that particular tooth. Once again son explained he was only there for an emergency filling on the one tooth, he had a dentist in another state, etc. etc. They then exclaimed, you surely don’t expect to get a filling today!!! Yet, that is exactly what the emergency appointment was for, so a wasted trip and money to Corner Dental Sylvania. Needless, to say Corner Dental will not be used for family that reside in the area.

Experiencia negativa: I have been bounced from one Corner Dental Location to the next. The last location I went to was the Corner Dental in Sylvania, Ohio and they did absolutely nothing. The dentist at that location sent me off to another dentist that does not accept my insurance and refuses to see me. I am scared and in pain and no one will help me. I have an infected tooth and an abscess and all I want is for this tooth to be pulled so I can heal. These people should not be allowed to practice dentistry all they do is bill my insurance for x-rays and send me out the door with more discomfort!

Experiencia negativa: I scheduled my appointment for "Emergency Exam" on the Corner Dental website. They are the only place that had an opening that takes Delta Dental PPO. I have an infection and the pain is excruciating. I scheduled over the weekend, because dentists are never open on Sat or Sun. I was happy to get in early Monday, and spent the whole weekend sobbing from pain. I barely slept. I went through three tubes of Orajel. I arrived to Corner Dental in Sylvania at 7:45 AM. Imagine my horror when I sat in the hallway staring at that sign in the door (see my photo attached). I sat until 8:30 before calling, what was an extra 30m after a weekend of pure agony? The call center told me that they don't open until 11AM, despite the sign TAPED TO THE DOOR that said they open at 8AM. Keep in mind I scheduled through their website, I confirmed with their phone line, I received a text confirming my appointment for 8AM on 7/24. I gave them my SSN, DOB, address and insurance info for all of the pre-appointment paperwork through that same website. The call center rep put me on hold. She came back to say I cannot be seen at any Corner Dental location in Toledo. The earliest for any location would be 7/28 (Friday) mid-afternoon. This forced me to have to take a different avenue for emergency dental care. There was no empathy, no apology, no accountability. The most said was "I'm not sure how this happened." Avoid this business at all costs. Do not rely on them. Do not take a PTO day while in an excruciatingly painful situation. I never raised my voice or got mean with the lady, but I should have. I genuinely hope that the person responsible for that office has a horrible day, cracks their phone screen, steps on a Lego and gets stung by a large wasp. - Mr. Kelly V Welch

Experiencia negativa: THE BAD REVIEWS RANG TRUE!!! UNBELIEVABLY NEGLIGENT!!! My husband has a terrible infection from his tooth and scheduled an appointment for 8am today, we waited in the hallway for thirty minutes and this location didn't open... Upon calling the number, he was told they didn't open until 11am. The website and door says eight. There is no indication ANYWHERE that they open at 11. My husband and I took off work today to be here for something serious. When he asked if his appointment could be slid to 11 when this location opens he was turned away and asked to possibly come in on Friday. POSSIBLY come in on Friday. He both confirmed via email and text that he had an appointment at 8am. Neither him nor I will ever trust this place again. You people SUCK at running a business.

I never asked for an emergency appointment, and if I did, why in the hell would I move it back? The level of incompetence in the world today is unreal. The room they took me in was dirty, gross. I will be contacting the news and BBB they said I would have to wait till October till we can be seen. That’s literally almost an entire year since I called and scheduled these appointments! And their response is there’s nothing they can do. Unprofessional and unethical practice!

Experiencia fantástica: The Sylvania location is great! Very personal and they seem to care. Although I was upset about my tooth, the doctor and the dental assistant were awesome! They’re all so great and very patient! A1 care!!!!!!! I can’t thank them enough.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible office that rescheduled me several times, one of which they didnt tell me until I got there saying they called to confirm but I got no calls. Finally get in today for the one they dont reschedule, only for them to tell me they dont do that procedure in that office despite knowing thats what Im there for. Drove an hour across town just to get a referral for not even the correct discussed procedure.

The hygienist was rude, unprofessional and just plain nasty. Edit: everyone but the hygienist is very nice! Today I delt with Candice. She made me feel very comfortable and was not rude! I dont know how the hygienist is still employed there. There was a little girl crying in the bathroom because of her. Fire her.......
