Experiencia negativa: I had a cracked tooth pulled last June. I was told I needed an implant and a crown and that the crown would be paid for if I waited until after the first of the year. I had several appointments in January and February. On the day I was to get the implant, I was told there was an additional charge of over $1900, and that I would have to pay it before I received the implant. I walked out. A couple hours later, I received a call from Aspen Dental. I was told the charge would be written off, and that no additional charge would be put on Care Credit. Two days later, I received a call telling me my implant was in. I went at my appointment time. A clerk came out to talk to me about 20 minutes later, telling me I still owed money because I had two crowns done by Aspen Dental. I said, no, I had my tooth pulled. I was originally scheduled to have a root canal and a crown, but had my tooth pulled because it was cracked. I explained that the first crown was done 21 years ago in Emporia, KS. My explanation fell on deaf ears. She gave me a run around about Aspen Dental having to code the second crown a certain way so insurance would pay for it. I now have an additional charge on my Care Credit, and I am not happy. I am not happy that I was talked into something I can't afford. I am not happy that I was charged for two crowns when I didn't have two crowns done. Why wasn't my chart checked? Shouldn't the services I had done be noted in my chart? I wish I had left after being told my tooth was cracked. I wish I had gone elsewhere. I regret ever walking into Aspen Dental. The management was supposed to follow up with me. They haven't, of the course. Aspen Dental is the worst.

Experiencia negativa: I thought staff were polite but yes they rush in to X-ray then consult then doctor then they test your teeth and say you need deep cleaning then you go to a desk where they tell you a cost of all of it I have insurance I asked repeatedly is this my total amount and is all this covered under my insurance other then the 374.00 and I even waited 1 day to come back to get tooth pulled and first deep cleaning and a week later for second cleaning for their office to make sure I only would pay the 3 hundred some for everything they say yea yea your good 3 weeks later I get a bill for 209.00 more dollars I'm sorry but 689.00 for one tooth pulled and 2 15 minutes cleaning isn't worth that. I called my dental insurance and they said they were told it wouldn't be covered the teeth cleaning because it wasn't necessary so I'm sorry but that's a cash grab scam so no I won't be back and no I won't recommend this place for anyone

Experiencia negativa: EDIT to add: Here we are 1 month later and the upper set of teeth that matched the previously broken one is now broken. Not just chipped BROKEN. They are broken where the implant is at so half of the teeth are just hanging out twisting around hanging on by only 1 implant. Here I am yet again forced to wait a week for an appointment. This is just ridiculous. I still want reimbursement for everything I’ve been through. I am beyond frustrated with this company. In May of 2025 Dr. Marina placed 8 implants and a temporary set of teeth. I have had (I think) 7 different sets of teeth because the “lab” couldn’t get them just right. They had to reschedule numerous appointments because the lab didn’t have the teeth ready. In October we decided they finally got it right and they were supposed to order my final set of zirconia teeth. They set an appointment 3 or so weeks later. After not receiving a confirmation text or email I called them to confirm my upcoming appointment and was told I didn’t have one scheduled and that Dr. Marina was no longer with the company….I was told early on that he would be leaving to open his own facility in Oregon but that he would have me finished by then. With him abandoning the job and all the clients I was left with NO dentist to complete the work. After calling numerous times I was finally told that I would have to go to Manhattan (1 1/2 hours away) to complete the work. I finally called there and set an appointment. I was called 2 days before my appointment by someone at the Topeka office telling me that they have a dentist that would be coming in a couple days a week to finish the work that Dr. Marina had abandoned. So they set up another appointment. Dr. Jenny has been GREAT! I wish she was there from day 1. We did another scan to be sure my teeth are just right, we made another change. I am currently waiting for that set to be made. After wearing these 3D printed teeth since mid September the lower one finally broke (I wasn’t even chewing anything) Sunday night. I called 1st thing Monday morning, the break is extremely sharp and cutting my gum. They told me Dr. Jenny wouldn’t be in until Thursday but they could get me in on Wednesday so they set an appointment. I later realized that if she wouldn’t be there who was going to do the work. I JUST want the break to be filed down until it can be fixed. When I called back they said she was completely booked on Thursday and couldn’t get me in until Monday. So we set an appointment. It is currently Thursday, 4 days after my teeth breaking I have a big sore on my gum from rubbing on the broken tooth. I can feel the infection setting in and I still have to wait 4 more days to get anything done. There is absolutely NO reason they couldn’t have squeezed me in to file it down, 10 minutes in the chair. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I made a HUGE mistake using this company and not doing enough research on them. Dr. Adam Marina did not have or give me the time I needed and deserved as a patient who paid him over $50,000. The last time I saw him he was only in the room 10 minutes. Then he was talking with the hygienist, or whoever she was, in a different room. I overheard him tell her to order the same color I currently have, he never discussed it with me as that was NOT what I wanted from day 1. When I told the girl I wanted something different she didn’t know what to say. She eventually said ok then all of a sudden he was gone and my teeth were never ordered. I just want to be done with all of this. Oh, also, I WANT MY MONEY BACK, we WILL discuss this at my next appointment.

Experiencia negativa: Didn't even make it to my appointment when they sent me a message saying they needed to reschedule. Mind you this was my first time emergency visit. So I called the number and explained to the lady what the message was I got to which she was like O.K. AND ok lady let's proceed what do we need to do? To which her response was well were over booked today so you need to reschedule. Yes mam I understand that from the text message you sent which is why I'm calling. Needless to say I just ended up hanging up on them and am seeking service elsewhere. Not like I don't have delta dental and can pay for service but what I don't stand are completely rude healthcare workers like if you don't like your job do something else but customer service probably isn't your niche

Experiencia fantástica: I had heard many good things about Aspen Dental, and a recent appointment confirmed. From the time I consulted for a plan (medically as well as financially) to move forward with my dental care, I received excellent care. I had questions the day after the procedure, and the staff was able to put my mind at ease. Experiencia fantástica: Went in today to get a filling and extraction and this was my first time receiving this service from Aspen. Not gonna lie....I was very nervous. I have had extractions before and suffered thru them. But today I went in and was taken care of by Dr. Hoang and let me tell you..... that little gal rocks. It took less than 5 mins to pull the tooth and I was walking out the door. WOW!!! I stressed about the extraction longer than it took to actually remove the tooth. I have to say I will recommend Aspen to everyone. The people are great and there was minimal pain and I mean minimal as well as fast and efficient. Thank you guys so much!!!

Experiencia negativa: I went to get a filling fixed, that fell out of tooth. They refused to do filing. They said had to have cleaning first. Overall they said it would cost $25,000 out of pocket to fix all of my teeth. I just simply wanted 1 tooth repaired. Ripoff!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I haven't been to a dentist in many years and only went today because of tooth pain. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I knew my teeth were in bad shape but the hygienist and dentist gave me great hope that I can have a great smile sooner than later. Also the office manager helped me to understand the financial situation it would take and made me feel more comfortable with it. I happy to say I found a great dentist that I can look forward to going to.

Experiencia positiva: I was a new patient and showed up 10 minutes early. Got all the forms done before 830 which was my appointment time. They took me back at 9. So waited half an hour past the appointment time. They were busy but not that busy although they were friendly. I scheduled a teeth cleaning and finally left at 11…too long. You guys were nice but I will not be coming back.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Aspen, my dentures were under warranty and my lower denture broke in half and chipped a tooth. They repaired it and I had to call back for a blister. They got me in right away and adjusted the repair and gave me a numbing cream which seems to have fixed my problem.

Experiencia fantástica: I have really bad dental anxiety, due to bad experiences in the past and being made to feel like I was a burden. Every member of staff I interacted with yesterday made me feel comfortable, explained everything and made me feel like I was a person and not just a number. Even though I needed a referral to a specialist, I was still treated like a person and everything was explained in a way that makes sense to me. Everyone, from the front end staff to the billing department I saw at the end were kind, considerate and comforting. I will be going back and following through with the referral because I was made to feel like a person and not a number.

Experiencia fantástica: I went in due to severe dental pain. I thought a crown had cracked. After xrays and a thorough examination it was revealed my crown was intact. I was told I have been grinding my teeth at night and need a dental guard. Also, two small cavities. I was given options to decide what I wanted to do. Also, up-front pricing. I went in on a Tuesday and went back Thursday for the work I decided upon. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant and informative. The dental hygienist did an excellent job cleaning my teeth.The Dr was excellent and very comforting. Overall a excellent experience.

Experiencia fantástica: ❤️❤️ I have to say 2 months ago I would not of gave 5stars, not even 1. My 1st appointment at Aspen was terrible and the only reason I went back is because Aspen had already started my implant procedure. My 1st appointment i had nothing explained to me, the dentist sang and danced and flirted with his assistant the whole time drilling in my mouth. While hitting a nerve 3×. I told my wife it was hell and I wouldnt go back. Well we have already paid over $4,000 and the post are in my mouth so I went back today. The assistant today was a different younger girl who was extremely helpful and explained everything to me, unlike my 1st appointment. She even moved my appointments up to complete my procedure. Leaving I was told I needed to speak to the office manager Lacilyn. I thought, okay. Last time i had spoken to a guy named Bryan.Speaking with the office manager, she explained everything to me and told me I would have a balance due after my last appointment. I explained to her that Bryan told me the 4700 we had already paid would cover my procedure. Start to finish. Lacilyn and I spoke a little bit about my 1st appointment and I was informed that Bryan nor the dentist worked there anymore. I was getting frustrated and I let her know it was not directed at her. After speaking, she was deeply apologizing for the the terrible experience I had back in October, my 1st appointment. Lacilyn stepped out of her office and came back a few minutes later and looked at me and said, "again, I am truly sorry for what you went thru and we (ASPEN) are going to wave the fees for your next appointments to finish your procedure. I got really teary eyed and thanked her more than once. Today, not only did Lacilyn and the people at Aspen dental exceed my expectations, they stepped up and are making experiences that were wrong, right and that to me is worth everything. I will continue to go to Aspen dental and NOW I will refer others to them. THANK YOU, LACILYN AND THE TEAM AT ASPEN DENTAL. MY FAMILY APPRECIATES YOU...

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst unorganized business I have ever seen. Fist time there charging me as I walked in for an existing balance not. Then showed up next day they where close for some reason and didn't notify anyone so people showed up not knowing. Then made another appointment said be there at 7 with emails and them calling twice to verify but didn't open until 8 had to wait then. Bottom dentures needed fixed. So dropped them off Said be open until 3 said I would be there at 230 and said okay got there at 233 and closed. Couldn't get my teeth until Friday. Two days later. I hope no one will ever go there what a joke. Need to close down. Please BEWARE RUN

Experiencia negativa: Trying to make my husband an appointment was difficult to get a live person on the phone then leave a message no call back. Kept trying until I actually got someone to schedule. They tried to charge him $24.00 upon arriving the first time and he refused. He was suppose to have an appointment the next day and had a sign temporarily closed and was not contacted by the office prior to.

Experiencia negativa: I got my tooth shaved down for my crown on the 29th of October and I’ve been told for the 3rd time “the lab” messed up my crown now I gotta wait another week and a half! This is the 3rd time they have told me this and I have to wait even longer for my crown. I got a half shaved tooth I have been tryna take very good care of for over a month now and now I gotta wait even longer for my crown. I am very disappointed with this and frustrated with this situation and feel as I deserve a discount AT LEAST. Saying sorry over and over just ain’t cutting it. This is very expensive for me and to have to wait this long for my crown having it messed up 3x and sitting on a half shaved tooth through out my birthday and thanksgiving is flat out NOT RIGHT. I deserve a DISCOUNT AT LEAST!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: The staff at this dental office are friendly and accommodating, and I appreciate how they treat patients. However, I had a very stressful experience with their billing and insurance process. I already paid my portion of the charges—$2,700 through CareCredit. The remaining $1,600 was supposed to be covered by my insurance. My insurance sent Aspen two letters—one on August 5, 2024, and another on July 15, 2025—asking for the information needed to approve my claim. Unfortunately, Aspen did not send the documents. In the first week of October, I called the office, and the billing staff told me that my concern was on a “ticket” and would take 2–3 weeks to process. I waited, but when I called my insurance on November 21, I was told that Aspen still had not provided the information they needed. Because of this delay, my insurance can no longer cover the $1,600, since the timeframe has already passed. Now, I am receiving voicemails and letters reminding me about the amount due, even though the issue happened because the required information was not submitted on time. This situation has been very stressful for me, and I hope Aspen can improve the way they handle insurance requests and patient accounts so that others do not experience the same problem.

Experiencia negativa: I was recently seen at Topeka Ks Aspen Dental office. Brian assisted me with reviewing my my payment options. He explained to me that it would cost little over $1600 for a cleaning to be completed along with 2 fillings after my delta dental insurance. He encouraged me to sign up for care credit in which I did. To this date no work has been completed . My CareCredit card arrived in the mail last week with an excess of $1600 worth of charges on my CareCredit card. I have reached out to the local Topeka Kansas Aspen dental office multiple times and left multiple voicemail. I’ve not received any phone calls back. I called customer support at the corporate office multiple times . They was very friendly and encouraged me to contact the local Topeka Aspen dental office to receive a refund to my CareCredit card . They would put me on a short hold and try to reach the Topeka Aspen dental office . To assist me, but reported they were unable to make any contact with anyone in the office either. They encourage me to Leave another voicemail. I clearly stated what my needs were, and provided my contact information along with other personal detailed account information. After multiple attempts, we was able to get a live person on the phone from Topeka Aspen dental only to be told that the person that handles billing out of the office and I could leave a voicemail and my phone call would be returned on 10/17/25 . I have still never received that return phone call. Today I spoke again with the corporate call center. After explaining my situation yet again he agreed to assist me with reaching out to the Topeka Aspen dental clinic again In which he called multiple times, and was unable to make contact with anybody. Once again, came on the line and asked me to leave yet another voicemail And wait for a return phone call. As somebody that has worked in customer service for many years For American Family insurance I can tell you that this is not the way to conduct business. Please be aware. I would hate for anybody to experience this agony. Sadly CareCredit is expecting their first payment on services that have never been completed. Will be contacting Better Business Bureau next. Unfortunately, to post this, I had to select a star rating to post my comment. I provided one star, but in all honesty, I would give them zero stars but that is not an option at this time.

Experiencia negativa: These people pulled 6 broken teeth, made me some new dentures, that I can't even wear and eat decent food with. I've gone back to them 15 times to get my dentures fixed right, and they refuse to fix my dentures. Oh, but they would continue to charge me for incomplete work. I would never recommend this Office to any of my friends. And I have never received a statement from their Gensis Credit, and yet they decided to send me to Collections . I just talked to the Topeka, Kansas office and they still refuse to redo my dentures so that I can wear my dentures so that I can properly eat my food without coughing and regurgitating my food back up. So I am going to find an Attorney who will file a malpractice suit against Aspen Dental and I'm going to sue this Dental Office for half a million dollars for damages now.

Experiencia negativa: I went into Aspen dental because I knew I would need a lot of work done and most of the reviews are really good. I have an anxiety and panic disorder so I really want a dentist I could trust. Initial appointment went great and the staff was nice. When I was ready, I made my down payment and scheduled my first procedure for the same week. I was hyped they could get me in within just a couple days and I asked that they schedule me at a time that would have me out of their office by noon so I would be on time to work. After making that appointment the receptionist offered me an appointment card with that Friday at 11 am on it. Shortly after leaving I also got a confirmation email that said my appointment would be on Friday at 11am. Fast forward to Thursday (today) and I get a text at noon that confirms once again my appointment is on Friday at 11am. Cool. My confusion starts when the office receptionist calls me and asks to confirm my appointment at 12. I think she is confused so I tell her it should be at 11. She says no, it's at 12. I figure I must have it confused so I say okay. I go and check my phone, my email, and my card and they all say 11am. Now I am concerned that the receptionist may have been confused or misread, and I don't want to come in too early and have to wait an hour to be seen plus be late to my job without notifying them ahead of time (obviously it doesn't look very good when I tell my boss 'hey I'm gonna be an hour late tomorrow sorry' the night before work), or that if I go in at noon they will tell me I missed my appointment. So, I call again to confirm. Receptionist says 12. I believe her but it is a little frustrating because now I have to tell my boss why I'm showing up late.I ask her why it was changed suddenly. She told me they did not change it. I tell her just two hours ago I got an automatic text plus I have an email AND a card with the date on it. I can tell the receptionist thinks I am being mad for no reason, so I tell her AGAIN I just wanted to know why it was changed. She repeats they did not change it but can't explain the email or the text. I feel like she is lying to me. She tells me she can reschedule it in October but I cannot have my original time because there is a patient scheduled there. I tell her that they must have changed it because there's no way it would have changed in the last two hours without someone going into the system and adjusting the time. She again tries to tell me they did not change it. I said I will try to explain it to my boss but thanks anyway. Then she just hangs up on me, no words. Now I think perhaps it is some sort of system error, so I call corporate. A man from customer service does tell me that it is at noon. I let him know that my email, text, and card are all off by an hour and the receptionist said she did not change it, so I ask him if there is some sort of glitch in the system or if he can find out what happened just so that it doesn't happen again and I can feel confident I am going in at the right time. He calls the office for me this time and asks why it changed. This is where I get pissed. He comes back and tells me there was an emergency and they needed to put that patient in my place so they did, in fact, choose to change my appointment. He said they may have tried to call me and I could have missed the call. I tell him there are no calls to my phone between 12-2 except for the call to confirm my appointment. I thank him for finding out. The fact that the receptionist not only straight up lied to me, but then doubled down on her lie has me reeling. They did, in fact, change my appointment, they did NOT notify me, and then they tried to make me feel like I was the problem when I became confused and frustrated. I would have had no issue if they just called me to say they moved it for an emergency, but lying to me makes me feel like I am going to have bad care. I am honestly really scared that my surgeries are going to either get put off randomly or go poorly because they can't be transparent with me. I would see a different dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in due to an emergency, don’t have insurance but the staff took such great care of me. The hygienist explained everything to me so clearly and didn’t judge me. I was terrified of going in. I haven’t been in over ten years. I can’t wait to go back and work on my new smile! It’s always been an insecurity of mine but I know I can trust the staff. They were so sweet and friendly and nonjudgmental. I’m so thankful they could help. I came on Tuesday and by the next day, I was feeling much better and now I’m almost all healed up!!

Experiencia fantástica: Aspen dental took care of me from the moment I walked in until I left.The front desk was kind and inviting and I filled out my paperwork and was seen very quickly. Although I had a lot of pain in my teeth every single nurse and doctor were very empathetic and made sure I was okay every step of the way. They made me feel safe and cared for throughout the whole processes. When finding out I had a severe condition with my teeth they got me on the schedule to get it fixed the same day. When goin through the payments for the procedure Brian the office manager walked me through every step and was very sweet and helped make my payment manageable for the income I had and took a lot of the stress I was experiencing away. Jill took amazing care of me and even though I was in severe pain she still had me laughing. I would highly suggest coming to aspen for your dental needs I don’t like the dentist at all but I felt completely safe in didn’t ever feel judged for the condition of my teeth.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars then I would. This dentist has no morals. Told me I needed to get all my front teeth crowned and a bunch of other work quoting over $17,000 in work. My teeth don’t even hurt, so I couldn’t understand how I needed that much work done. I tried to get my X-rays sent over to another dentist, called multiple times on it and they never sent them over. Got them done again at the other dentist to get a second opinion. This dentist told me all I needed was a couple fillings and I was good to go. Second dentist quoted me just a couple hundred a filling, while I paid over $500 for a cleaning at Aspen. The credit system they have is a scam and lowered my credit score significantly. Didn’t even give them permission to run my credit for that, but I needed some way to afford the expensive cleaning that they proposed. I can’t even fathom how they live with theirselves for taking advantage of so many people. Do not go here. Edit: office just tried to contact me and intimidate me into taking my review down. Thanks for your concern, but I’m not taking back anything I said. You read the review and you know “your dentist” told me that I need more work than is necessary. Taking advantage of the innocent is probably how he can afford his Tesla. Proudly convinced a friend of mine not to go here and will continue to do that. I talked to more people that I know and they said they had similar experiences

Experiencia negativa: Would give them zero stars if I could. This place tries to scam thousands out of innocent people. Runs credit without permission and quoted me thousands of dollars above what the other dentist quoted. Said I needed crowns on all of my teeth and when I got a second opinion the other dentist seemed floored when I told them what Aspen wanted to do to me. Also tried to get them to send over my X-rays that I paid for out of pocket and they conveniently set it off until I had to pay the other dentist to do it again. Never go here for the love of god

Experiencia fantástica: Bobby the DA was very sweet and a pleasure to talk to and help my daughter feel comfortable as this was her first time visiting the dental office. Brian got us through the appointment efficiently and was just as sweet and even joked with my daughter when she said it sounded like a lion was in the office. Dr Keith was knowledgeable and friendly. Experiencia negativa: I would not recommend this dentist “chain” to anyone. They are not transparent about costs, have a terrible scheduling policy. The whole process felt similar to a shady car dealership attempting to sell a severely overpriced used car, but not disclosing all the mechanical issues wrong with it. I called, and scheduled an appointment for the next day, regarding a wisdom tooth that had broken, and needed pulled. Customer service had quoted $180-200 for this. I drove 40 mins and arrived 15 minutes early, just to be told they canceled my appointment due to not getting a verbal confirmation. I explained that I had just scheduled yesterday. After going back and forth they rescheduled be for 12:30 that day. Again, I arrived early, filled out paperwork, and paid $30 upfront in cash, which the secretary explained she could not give me back any change? Then, I waited 40 minutes before I was brought back. They took X-rays and examined my teeth. The doctor then explained they could not pull the tooth today, and that I needed to set up a payment plan first. I explained that I had enough to cover the single tooth extraction, which was the only thing I wanted done. I was waited, again, then was brought in to talk to a financial guy, who was very nice even though at that point I was a bit frustrated. However, for some reason, my $200 max tooth removal turned into costing $1000. I explained again that I just needed some local anesthetic, and it would be a simple extraction as it was not impacted, it was fully erupted, and there was no need for any difficult extraction techniques. But he was firm on the $1000. Further, if I wanted to do my fillings I needed, it would have been over $6000. Absolutely insane. Not only were they shady, and not transparent about costs, I was unable to get my (extremely painful) tooth extraction. Additionally, staff are unorganized and a “consult” that should have taken a hour or less, took 2.5 hours.

I had to wait until monday to be seen and after everything, no treatment was administered. I give 3 stars to the very pleasant and professional staff, zero stars for not treating me at all. Experiencia negativa: Made me sit in the waiting room for 40 min just to tell me my appt was canceled because I didn't verbally confirm, but I did verbally confirm over the phone with the virtual assistant "Amelia" which is literally an option to press when you call to confirm your appt so you can see my confusion on this issue. A problem they need to solve. My next appt I also sat in the waiting room for 45 min, in pain, before being seen, only to be cut under my tongue during the x-rays because they didn't have the right size bite for me as it was "being used by someone else" and poked and prodded at making sensitivity worse, only to be told they won't do anything at all until I paid a $1300 down payment on a $5500 treatment plant. I was there for 3 hours total, mostly waiting time, only to leave in more pain, no relief, no help, and a waste of my time.

Experiencia fantástica: Beyond grateful with aspen! I live in manhattan and I was calling around to find a place to do an emergency root canal. When I called them with a referral for a root canal they got me scheduled next day for a consultation. When I came in for the consultation all the staff was very friendly, it was clear I was in a lot of pain and the doctor was able to fit me in even though there schedule was fully packed. I am beyond grateful, that was truly the worst pain I have ever felt and I can’t thank everyone enough for helping me get that resolved. The tech that helped me take x rays was super caring and made that process very easy even though I was in a lot of pain and sensitive to the touch, the tech helped make that process as gentle as possible. The doctor and the tech played music and sang throughout my root canal which really helped calm down my dentist anxiety. Not only was it quick but the doctor did an amazing job making sure I wasn’t in pain and couldn’t feel anything. I’ve had bad dentist experiences in the past and this was truly a relief. Again I can’t thank them enough for fixing this for me and the entire staff was sweet and caring. I recommend them and will be coming back even all the way from manhattan.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m getting some major dental work done with Dr. Marina and there have been a few bumps in the road. However, I have to say that Dr. Marina, Ricky and the rest of the Coast Dental family have treated me with nothing but compassion and kindness. They have bent over backwards to accommodate me and my special needs on this journey. I couldn’t ask for a better team of people to get me to where I need to be. Experiencia positiva: I was really happy with the service here. I like the $29.00 new patient exam and x-rays, and so did my mom! It was true to the commercial on TV that advertises this. The cleaning is $100 extra, and you have to come back for it. That's okay. Aspen worked with mom and I to come up with a plan we could afford every month. They don't accept medicaid. But it's nice to know they work with third party to make it affordable. Everyone was so helpful and nice. Lacilyn the office manager is so nice! Takes a little longer for first appointment. But will be back!

Experiencia fantástica: I have not visited a dentist in over 10 years due to a traumatic experience with the last dentist, so you can imagine the anxiety I had walking in. Not only battling bad anxiety, I had to prepare and compose myself when they had to schedule another appointment to resolve my emergency issue. For once, I experienced great customer, open minded, non judgmental (at least not out loud) employees that helped me on the spot and worked with me on financing. My favorite was the part where I had to explain my financial situation to a gentleman with the biggest ❤️ . (Im so sorry I forgot his name). I made it out alive, numb, and pleased with the experience. I'll be back and I recommend this facility. Thank you so much for baring with me and my anxiety.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything from coming into the office for the first time and getting an appointment scheduled, to me missing an appointment and getting rescheduled, the experience at this office has been extremely comfortable. With not really caring for dental visits that well, and I mean honestly avoiding them every chance I get, a comfortable experience, even with making appointments, is extremely important from me and the staff made that happen through and through. The process was smooth, every question I had was answered, even cracked a few jokes, and make me forget why I was there in the first place. So when my named was called to be seen, I wanted to stay upfront! But then, I go to be seen, get x-Rays done, and that process was smoother than I’ve ever experienced. Jill herself was very calm with measuring my teeth, the x-ray tech (forgive me if that’s not her title) was also patient, and took her time with the placements and explained to me what was going to happen next, which is also important. The doctor and his assistant as also very very calm, respectful of my fear of dentist lol Thank you Lilly, Breanna, Laciyn, Brian, Jill, Dr. Keith, Christina and anyone else I did not mention, for wonderful visit to your office!

Experiencia negativa: Honestly not sure how this practice is still in business. They clearly get a kickback from lying to patients. Was told I had cavities when other dentists proved otherwise. Insurance has been more beneficial at other locations. Please don’t waste your time. Save your money. They only want your $$$. Don’t let their manipulation and poor business practices fool you. They are full of greed and have zero integrity. Also, expect for them to be 30-60 minutes behind schedule. I had 2 separate appointments that were rescheduled or cancelled by the staff during my time as a patient.

Experiencia negativa: Manhattan Aspen Dental OMG!! When I read this and another review I was both shocked and infuriated!!! I thought i was the only one with GREAT insurance AND was still charged out of pocket for an astronomical amount!!!! I was NOT given the charges individually before i paid. The shpeel was that I was being treated like a 'family' member. If they treat family like this I wonder how strangers are treated. I have requested a refund of some of my payment as I was charged for teeth I DO NOT have!!! The request has fallen by the waist side which unfortunately will lead me to take another route. Dr. Adam was GREAT in the Topeka office, I can not say the same about this one. Staff (Marjorie mainly) is great but the rest . . . . . They were generous enough to offer having the remainder of my teeth pulled and get implants!! WTH!! I have to wonder If Drs. Paulson and Marino are tracking what the staff is doing with it's financial offers? I had just gotten back from Europe on an emergency and unbeknown to me I had a sinus infection that was so bad it was causing my mouth to fell like EVERY tooth in my head was going to fall out so of course i was desperate to get to the bottom of this and thought for sure it was my teeth. But after treatment I realized it was NOT my teeth [solely]. I see this is going to be a battle for the refund but unless Dr. Adam has already sold the business I know that he wouldn't allow this. He doesn't come across as a micro-manager and I'm sure he/they are sitting back and letting the biller do what they suppose to do. ***I'm not sure that this is what the office would like to hear, but this is how my first visit went: I made an appointment and specifically asked to have my teeth cleaned. I was reassured that cleaning would take place. When I asked about price, the offhand answer that I was given was "about $100". When I came in for the appointment, I first saw an attendant who handled the x-rays and pictures, then had an extensive visit with hygenist, and a quick visit with the dentist. I found that another appointment would be necessary for any actual cleaning. I was taken to the office of the financial manager and was presented with a huge estimate for the price of cleaning my teeth. Obviously, my insurance wouldn't pay that price and I would have an extremely large out-of-pocket cost for the procedure. So I declined any further work, and went to look for another opinion. And I found a much more economical option.......*** It was a really decent visit. It took long (about 5 hours) however it was a big ask prior to a holiday. I was pleased with the efforts. I am hoping when I get back in town that the dentist was joking about how much the Laffy taffy that was put in my mouth cost.

Experiencia negativa: Talk about feeling like you are at a factory. They were only interested in creating a plan to make my smile red carpet worthy. I went in for a hurting tooth. Talk about a production. 2 hours later I was presented with a multi step plan and was whisked into the office manager's office to look into financing the plan. This is not a dental office. It is a dental production masquerading as a dental office. The staff and doctors are qualified and do a good job, it's just that they are following their franchise directions to make as much money from your care that they can. I won't be going back.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a emergency situation and I remember Aspen dental from a previous appointment years ago. I walked in there office and an angel remembered me. I explained as good as I could what was wrong. One of my dental implants had gone through and got stuck in my lip. Painful, barley able to talk THE ASPEN ANGELS took care of me the same day with no problems. Within a couple of hours no pain with anything done I was on my way home. Aspen Dental will always be my number one place to go for dental work and should be yours as well. Thank you ASPEN ANGELS

Experiencia negativa: I started going through the process of getting snap in implants in November 2025. Finally got done with the process May 27 2025. Was quoted a price it would cost me. I have insurance and my insurance wanted some records from Aspen and they never sent them. The next thing I knew I was having to increase my credit with Care credit to finish paying for my implants. I was told that they would put two of the implants in at no cost to me. I found out that I was charged for them. I'm getting over a 4000 dollar bill. When I tried to find out why I was getting the bill and so far no answer.

But not their billing practices.. make sure you get documentation because I’m having a hard time figuring out what I paid what care credit paid and what they were billing me for.. I didn’t want to take delivery of the partial because it was not quoted to me correctly and they said they would take it off the bill and 8 months later it shows back up on the bill?? I’m asking for a complete accounting Tuesday morning.. we will see what I get!! Changed my rating from 5 star to negative 10!!

Experiencia negativa: I did not have a good experience with ASPEN Dental at all. Too many red flags. They forced me to have multiple x rays of my teeth followed by a gum check ,which I didn't want but Mr.Brian said that they had to do it. My gums are really fine, they just wanted to increase the bill and make money. There was no transparency regarding the charges and the breakdown of the costs -eg, What they charge for each procedure, how much the insurance company pays, and what the patient will pay. The accounts person was forcing me to first go for a costly teeth cleaning procedure worth $1104 before the dentist would agree to do the filling. The amount mentioned for the first day check up does not match the amount posted by my insurance. I asked for the details, and it was not shared. I called up and requested that my dental xrays and scans be mailed to me. Which they haven't till date, and I doubt they will do. The account person Mr.Brian was so rude while confirming whether I want to go with the procedure. Four times he asked-"Do you want to do it ? Yes or No. Let us know now" . He was pressuring me . Very money minded clinic. I got my teeth checked from another clinic and they said that my guns and teeth were fine.Even their Dentist Mr.Keith was not bothered about my pain. The staff is not kind and empathetic. I will not recommend anyone to go there.

Experiencia negativa: They addressed everything but what I came in for. They told me they wouldn’t extract my tooth until I fixed other unrelated issues. I was left unattended for about 25 minutes before someone acknowledged me. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to spend outrageous prices.

Experiencia negativa: This was awhile ago but it’s never too late to put it out there. I went there in 2022 due to not having any insurance and just needing a tooth extracted. That was done successfully but after having been there 3 days in a row doing X-rays and the like every single day. On the final day after extraction and getting my prescription from the Dentist at the front counter their finance guy tells me to hang out a bit. So I wait almost 10 min or so and going just about to get up leave he calls me back there again. To tell me that the Dr saw some sort of growth on my jaw line. Now I was taken aback immediately worrying about what it could be etc. They gave me a referral to see a specialist but didn’t even give me a specialist to see about it. Then it occurred to me after getting home, that 1 why would the finance guy be telling me this and not the Dentist so he could explain and show me whatever he was seeing. That doesn’t make sense your finance guy isn’t the one supposed to be doing those talks with patients to being with. 2 why after being there 3 days in a row with X-rays and cleanings etc would it literally be brought up last minute when I’m about to leave after my procedure was done? 3 I talked to my good friend who had been to and used Aspen Dental before and told me he had the exact same thing happen. Verbatim the finance guy told him the same thing I was told. This place is just out for $$$$ and scamming people. Don’t go here go somewhere else in town with practitioners that actually and genuinely care. I would give zero stars if I could.

Experiencia negativa: 2 weeks and I can't get a single phone call picked up at the office, the rep (because theres no direct line) always days they must be on lunch (10-2) good luck trying to get a hold of them... Extremely unprofessional, canceled my appointment without telling me AFTER I confirmed it... absolutely nothing positive to say, what a frustrating experience.

Experiencia negativa: Had an appointment scheduled was sent an email to confirm the appointment, after confirming the appointment I show up and they cancelled the appointment due to phone number not being reachable. Would be understandable if I didn’t confirm through the email. Also was calling for 2 weeks to schedule the appointment never got an answer or call back so I had to show up in person to make the appointment. Take yourself to a business that cares.

Experiencia negativa: I came in a few years ago to have a back molar checked. At first, the dentist did a quick visual inspection and said everything looked fine. When I pointed out a small crack I had noticed, he reinspected and then suddenly began pressuring me into getting a crown. Unfortunately, I agreed. The experience went downhill from there. The first crown they placed was too large, so they filed it down significantly and even filed down the top molar to help. The crown eventually broke within a year, and I’ve had issues ever since. Even though this office may be cheaper than others, the aggressive approach and lack of precision in their work made the whole experience a costly mistake. Don’t try to cheap out on your health!

Experiencia negativa: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I had dental work done here and one filling has fallen out twice in 6 months, another needs replaced because it’s so messed up, one bad cavity was completely missed, and then when I tried to get in to get my filled replaced for the SECOND time I called no less than 15 separate times DURING business hours and never got an answer or received a call back. Now I can’t even get my x-rays to take them to another dentist. This is by far the worst service I have ever received and I will never be coming back.

Apparently I burn through the antiseptic too fast and they couldn't finish the procedure..... Yet they took all my teeth and kept shooting me up with no worry. I am frustrated and confused!

Experiencia negativa: They do good work until it comes to the financial part of things, it's like pulling teeth and no pun intended. I was told by there finical guy that it would be taken care of as he quickly turned the computer screen around.Adpen also told my insurance company one price and then they are still trying to charge me more then I owe in fact according to my insurance company Aspen ows me money for my overpayment.They refuseed to do payments with me. I started making the payments and before I knew it they sent it to collections. They target advertise to the low income population and do shady businesses when it comes to finances.

Experiencia negativa: I will start with my positive first - A lot of medical places do not accept my insurance so I was happy to find out that Aspen Dental did accept my insurance. I was a first time patient so it took about 2 hours for them to look over my teeth. I had not gotten my teeth cleaned in about 7 years and I had let them know that prior. I have very good dental hygiene at home though. I had told them a couple times during them looking over my teeth that I have very bad insurance and I am just here to get my teeth cleaned and nothing else. After them looking over my teeth for a couple hours they proceeded to let me know that I have a “bad infection” in my bottom gums also known as “gingivitis”. They told me if I don’t do the treatment they recommend that I could potentially have all these awful side effects. They told me the treatment would cost $1,400 and that was with my insurance. I told them no that I was not interested in the treatment at the time, they said “ok sign this stating you know all the side effects that can potentially happen and have a nice day”. After all of that they wouldn’t even clean my teeth for me, so i left extremely upset and worried about this possible “infection” in my gums. I went to a local dentist a few weeks later and they went over all of my x-rays and looked over my teeth and they said I have no infection in my gums, my teeth look great,and that all I need is a good teeth cleaning. All this to say I would not recommend Aspen Dental and if you do go here maybe go get a second opinion just in case.

Experiencia negativa: Went about a year or so ago, the first appointment is to see how much they're going to charge you. I waited about an hour to be seen by the dentist. The lady who did the check before the dentist, had come to check on me twice and was shocked I was still there. After meeting with the dentist, the person that walks you through the costs said their system was down and couldn't give me an estimate. Said he'd call me, months later and I never heard back from anyone here. Terrible service and so unorganized.

Experiencia fantástica: It was my first visit and I met with an entire team! Each employee was extremely friendly, patient, and was able to educate thoroughly. I had experienced some pretty gnarly, recent trauma that was a major contributing factor in my scheduling of this appointment. The staff was gentle and understanding, while naturally practicing real empathy. One of their greatest attributes is how they work with you financially. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone!
