Experiencia positiva: Had to wait 30 minutes for my cleaning this morning. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes at this office - been going here for 30 years. Hygienist said to me multiple times “beautiful teeth, great hygiene” and then said I had a lot of plaque and tartar. She was shocked I didn’t know how to floss my implant. Also, I don’t believe she introduced herself. The doctor is nice enough. I haven’t had much interaction with him. Not a stellar visit in my opinion.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. First time patient and I chose this practice because it is close by and has great reviews. Had a tooth chip and needed emergency repair on the fly, called and was lucky enough to get in same day, I hit the chair and before I knew it we were done. Doctor was fast,efficient, and kind of a goof ball in the best way. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

He has done numerous crowns, and they all have held well over 15 years, when many people I talk to say theirs fall out. The New dr is also VERY Good. He had two procedures on my teeth and both were very well done. I am sure as he retires that this new Dr Renolds will be just as good. The rest of the staff is also very thorough and pleasant to work with.

Experiencia negativa: Literally worse dentist I have ever seen in my entire life. I let out a slight(quiet)moan while receiving the novacaine shit in the roof of my mouth, and he literally, VERBATUM says "Oh come on, we have kids here, they don't need to hear a grown man screaming in the other room". As if the belittling comment wasn't bad enough, there was no other patients on the office at the time!! I said back "I didn't scream it was a slight moan", and very cocky like he replied "Nooooooo , you screamed", like , even if I had screamed (which I did not), what kind of bedside manner is that. If I wasn't in an emergency and needed an immediate extraction, I would have literally got up right there and walked out. And he didn't like the fact that I replied(or in his mind 'Talked back', he charged me an extra 250.00! I called days before set the the appt. Asked how much for the extraction WITH the extra included they told me 250.00, I had 2 extractions, that should have been 500.00 even. And I paid out of pocket. After the 'words' we exchanged he had the nurse come back in with the receipt telling how much it was going to be, and it said $750.00!! I asked the nurse I thought extraction with x rays was 250.00 each. She just glanced twords the door, where the dentist was literally standing outside listening, she shrugged her shoulders like "I just work", wich is fine, not her fault. But I truly believe because I defended myself and said that I was not scaring children that were not even present, he charged me an extra 250.00. never again. I'm an easy going person, I give good reviews for restaurants and Dr.s, ECT even if not good, but this review is 100% valid. NEVER AGAIN! I would literally drive over 100 miles and pay double elsewhere if he were the dentist in 100 mile radius. If you choose to go, I hope you have better experience than I did. It's 'the talk of the office' that he's retiring soon, sooooo...idk. what I do know, is that I am not exaggerating! Go day to all.

Experiencia fantástica: Had a wisdom tooth pulled from Aspen Dental. 6 days later and im in pain. Aspen wouldn't return my call so J. Alexander DMD's office was kind enough to take me in asap. The dentist noticed I had an infection in another wisdom tooth that the oral surgeon didnt even notice. He took his time, cared about my pain and now I have a new dentist. The staff was also very kind.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been a patient at this practice my entire life and I’ve never had an experience like I did recently getting my first filling. I was extremely nervous and Dr. Reynolds did not help the situation whatsoever. The appointment started out with him saying he would leave because I wasn’t excited about being there (I’m not sure who would be!) I was nervous about getting the numbing shot and I needed time to calm down before even the numbing gel was applied. I felt rushed and told Dr. Reynolds that I didn’t like how I was being treated and I didn’t like his attitude, and he ended up storming out of the room. The rest of the appointment went fine but he spoke to me in a patronizing manner the entire rest of the time. I had never had an experience like this with Dr. Alexander or any of his hygienists, and I’m appalled by this level of unprofessionalism. I am very seriously considering changing providers after 20 years of care at this practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Alexander is very experienced and nice. I went to see him for a second option on whether I need to redo my root canal or if I need a cap for my tooth. He checked my X ray and my teeth and made sure that I don’t need those procedures done. Saved tons of money for me. I really trust his opinion when the other specialist were just ready to schedule me a redo procedure appointment without even looking at my teeth as soon as I was referred to them by the other dentist.

I called first thing Tuesday and Dr. Alexander squeezed me in and spent time not only fixing the issue but explaining things and putting me at ease. Great outcome from all perspectives. 5 stars aren't enough! ** UPDATE ** ** UPDATE ** I keep looking for that 6th star rating... so I can give it for Dr. Alexanders practice. I have been going to this practice since my initial "emergency" in April during the 'Noreaster" and can't say enough about the treatment and compassion that has been extended. Although my needs are substantial and complex, Dr. Alexander and his staff have been tremendous! I sure wish I had know about him years ago when all my issues started. I'm sure much of what we are working through now would likely have been averted and my intense fears about dentistry would never have started. Going to Dr. Alexander has been a Godsend.

He had me come right in, used his state of the art diagnostics machines (CT scan, I think) which he has right in his office, took the time to analyze the imaging and discuss what he saw with me, referred me to the appropriate specialist, and was interested to hear what the specialist said. A real care giver, smart, efficient, highly educated, with a well equipped office, nice staff, all working together for the patient's well being.
