Experiencia fantástica: JoAnn was an absolute amazing pleasure. So kind and so genuine. She really works with you on figuring out your dental plan. She made it stress free and was very comforting. Yessenia and Mara were also extremely kind. Yessenia was relateable And it felt like we had been long friends. Mara’s was very comforting as well and very detailed in explaining the steps moving forward. The DR was gentle and quickly identified any issues. This whole dentist office is filled with angels.

Experiencia fantástica: Flossing this morning, I popped a crown off that had been in place for over 40 years. I called Aspen at 7:40AM and was sitting in the chair at 8:45. By 9:45, I was out the door, crown back in place. Couldn't have had a better experience. For what it's worth, a couple years ago I cracked a tooth and, at a different local dentist, waited over six weeks to get an appointment and another two waiting for the crown to be made. That, friends, is totally unacceptable. I should have called Aspen!!

Experiencia negativa: Disappointed in my last visit. Hygienist is awesome but not happy with the billing scams they attempt. When confirming my appointment ( which is over kill by them-3 times confirming) I told them don’t want fluoride. Initially I was told my balance is $116. When I said no fluoride they advised balance is $66. I arrive for my appointment and the receptionist tells me my balance is $110. WHAT?!?! I asked why when just told $66. I don’t want fluoride. She says, its the liquid. Who the hell authorized anyone to add fluoride back into the service after I said I DO NOT WANT IT! I Waited 30 minutes in waiting room for my cleaning. Not a good practice. My time is just as crucial as theirs. Not happy with this visit and will caution you about billing

Experiencia positiva: This was my third appointment with Aspen Dental. My first appointment was canceled because their system was down, but no one bothered to call and inform me. The second appointment was also canceled because the doctor was in surgery for three hours; however, this time I did receive a call 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment. I decided to give them one last chance with a third appointment—this would have been my final attempt if it had been canceled again. This time, I was finally seen, although the welcome from the front desk was not warm. The dental assistant never introduced herself, so I do not know her name. I am 62 years old, and she repeatedly called me “love,” which I found unprofessional. The hygienist did introduce herself by name, was very pleasant, and provided recommendations professionally. The dentist was extremely kind and very professional. So far, everything was going well, but the best experience was with the treatment coordinator, Jo Ann. She was both professional and friendly, exactly as one would expect. She reviewed the treatment plan with me and explained the hygienist’s recommendations. I agreed to all of the proposed treatments except for the placement of antibiotics in 18 gum sites, which I declined for medical reasons. Because the treatment coordinator is not authorized to remove treatments, she contacted the hygienist. The hygienist came over and aggressively questioned me about my allergies. I explained again why I could not have antibiotics placed in my gums. She said she needed to speak with the dentist and would return, but she never did. I can only assume she communicated with the treatment coordinator and that the dentist ultimately agreed with my decision. I scheduled and paid for my SRP appointment and follow-up visit. Overall, the dentist and the treatment coordinator deserve five stars. However, due to the repeated cancellations and unprofessional interactions, I would give Aspen Dental three stars overall.

Experiencia negativa: Just bad customer service, the doctor’s there are great, Heard a lot of good results from multiple of my customers. Im a new patient, I tried to get an appointment but i was having issue verifying my insurance, try to provide my member ID and insurance phone number so she could do her job but this lady doesn’t want to hear or do non of that…..i couldn’t make the appointment. Doesn’t sound too interested in guiding or helping new patient through the process.

Experiencia negativa: I am so sorry to say that, Aspen Dental is one of the robbing centers. They gave me and my husband some ghost service bills that we did not receive. That happened a few times. After paying all during service, they send multiple bills home even after 8/10 months later. This is unacceptable and frustrating. I will never suggest anyone to go there. One of my coworkers experienced the same thing. Please be aware of your pay and what services you are getting.

Experiencia negativa: Worst experience ever. Started a half hour post my appointment. Got x-rays then had to wait another 40 minutes then was examined by the dental hygienist. Post her eval, I was briefly seen by the dentist then I had to meet with the treatment team & it got worse. I went there for a cleaning which I never received, instead I got a $6000+ quote. WTH? ♀️ And now what? I cant go another new place because insurance is not going to cover more new patient x-rays. So frustrating. 1st & last time. Never again.

Experiencia negativa: Worse Experience ever! Trying to sell sell sell you while you’re there in pain for a tooth extraction! The dentist was horrible! As he was pulling my tooth out I was resisting because of the pressure. He did not make any attempt to stop for a minute. My chest hurt from the pressure he exerted against me while he was trying to pull my teeth out. I would never ever go to another Aspen Dental again. My face is horribly swollen this morning & in extreme pain!

Experiencia fantástica: My experience here was none like I had before.. to begin with the check in process was easy and seamless.. then the tech that did my X-rays she was very accommodating friendly and patient., then my hygienist, “Mada”, she was truly knowledgeable she explained all the treatments that I needed, my deep clean was painless she made sure I was comfortable, she was so gently and did her thing without having to make my mouth open wide.. the doctor was amazing he knew what was going on in my mouth and agreed with the action plan my hygienist had for me he also did a quick fix on my smile .. I made my appointment literally in one day and was able to be seen the next day., I totally recommend Aspen dental.. look no further go there ..

Experiencia negativa: Rude front desk person and long wait. It took nearly 3 hours for me as a first time patient to go in for X-rays and an exam and then talk financials and there was only one other patient besides me. I was in the waiting room for an hour past my appointment time and then everything else took nearly two hours. Then I find out the oral surgeon doesn't take my insurance. The woman on the phone and the financial woman (I think is the same person) only knows how to speak attitude. Very abrasive. I'm going to go elsewhere.

Experiencia negativa: About 3 weeks ago I went to Aspen on St Lucie Blvd in Port St Lucie. I went because I had an absessed tooth and a broken one next to it. They did the complete series of x-rays including the stand up one where you have to bite down on it. Then a complete bit wing series. They had a hygenist inspect my gums and a dentist look at the teeth. OK sir yes, you need 2 teeth reomved and there are a lot of others that need work 840 bucks out of pocket because medicare does not cover dental. Anyway now I have tooth pain on a broken tooth that was clearly in the xrays and I talked about with the dentist. So I called for an appointment and the person on the phone said I need another exam first. WTH, I am NOT HAPPY.

Experiencia negativa: On [insert date], I went to the dentist to have a root canal and a cavity treated. The day before, I met with the doctor in Vero Beach who was supposed to perform the procedure. I explained in advance that I would be sedated, and I was told this would not be a problem. When I arrived for my appointment, the root canal was completed. However, the second doctor who was supposed to take care of the cavity refused to proceed, saying that I was “too asleep.” I have never had an issue with sedation before, and this came as a complete surprise. I was then discharged with an open tooth, which caused pain and cut my tongue. I had to return and insist this be addressed. The doctor attempted to file the tooth, but I had to stop him because the sound of drilling is exactly why I used sedation in the first place. As a result, I now have to wait indefinitely until the other doctor returns from vacation to finish the treatment, leaving me with an unfinished and uncomfortable dental condition. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and not what I expected when I traveled and prepared for this procedure.

Experiencia positiva: They cleared up an issue I had and asked me to fix my review so I did. I had a tooth removed and when I was gassed up waiting for the dentist I could hear all the girls having a good old time all laughing and stuff in Spanish. Not a big deal, we all like to have a little fun at work. But when the dentist came in he was in there the whole time by himself with none of the chatty girls helping. I even had to step in at the end and put the little spit sucker where he needed it cause his assistant never came back in the room. THE WORST experience I have ever had at a dentist and I am actually scared to go back! It’s really sad because the dentist is very quick and efficient but too busy, flirting with the girls and making them happy is unprofessional and scary when it’s up to them to take care of you because you’re literally drugged up with the gas. Please beware of this place!

Experiencia fantástica: A company, a corporation, not your family dentist anymore. I don’t believe that you can eliminate the, “it’s about money” feel you get once you enter, but that is what you feel. Even the hygienist was ‘selling’ as she tested the gums. I came in because I broke two teeth, and then found out nothing in my mouth was worthy! We did come to an agreement on treatment. Dentists are EXPENSIVE! Couldn’t find a family dentist, so corporate dentistry here I come. Am I using them? Yes, because I need to get the two broken teeth fixed.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in incredible pain and blown off by a local dentists office that claimed to have “emergency” care but didn’t have a dentist day of or next day. A quick call to aspen assuaged all my worries. Falenda at the front desk answered all my questions quickly helped me get an appointment same day and understand my duties to the office, Dr. Lemus was incredibly patient, answered everything in plain terms so everyone understood what was going on and was incredibly understanding and pleasant. The office manager Lasheena carefully explained my treatment plan in detail, any and all payment plans/ insurances accepted and showed all possible avenues for me as I don’t have insurance currently. Will 100% be coming here from now on!

Experiencia negativa: My initial visit was pleasant. My overall experience was negative. The operation manager was very charming and subtle. Before you commit and sign any documents check with your insurance company to see what your copay should be. The billing practice is unethical. I only went in for a cleaning and got brain washed into services I did not need. The dentist injured my tongue. The first time in over sixty years of dental procedures. I had to return for prescription mouthwash to help with the healing. The dental assistant was untrained and unsupervised. I had to return to have plaster from the mold removed from my gums. Be sure to check credentials and certifications. It's easy enough to do. Unfortunately I did this after the fact. If I can save one person from making the same mistakes I did. My pain and suffering will be worth it. When good people do nothing, evil triumphs.

Experiencia negativa: I arrived at 2:00 PM for my 2:15 appointment, but by 2:50 PM I noticed that everyone who arrived well after me had already been seen. When I inquired, I was told that those patients were all established and were therefore prioritized over my previously scheduled appointment. I believe this sets a very poor precedent for patient care. Additionally, I received conflicting information following my X-rays and exam. Initially, I was told I would be getting a deep gum cleaning for bacteria and that one of my back teeth would be examined for a possible extraction. Later, I was informed that no cleaning would be performed and that I would need to see a periodontist—whose services, unfortunately, aren’t covered by my insurance. At this point, I’ll likely look elsewhere to have my cleaning done.

Experiencia negativa: I’m very confused I had a 130 appointment. I walked in at 1:25 went to the counter. Stood there for about three minutes and then one of the ladies turn around and said sit down. Will be with you in a few minutes. I sat down and about 10 minutes later. Another lady came out and sat down at the front desk and started waiting on other people so I walked up and said I’m here for a 130 appointment. Are you guys running behind? She said no I just came back off a break. Those ladies over there are with patients. I said OK I was just asking. Are you guys running late. The first lady that interacted with me then spun around and talk to me with the naughtiest attitude. I’ve seen in a long time. She said something to me and I said I’m sorry, but I’m hard of hearing. So she started speaking louder, but even with more of an attitude talking to me like I was bothering them. Never had someone treat me that rude when I just came in to check in for my first appointment. so I turned around and left.

Experiencia fantástica: Short story- Go here! This coming from someone who has had tons of experience with dental offices including this one in the past as I did dental plan sales in a previous life. Long story- Pre-molar broke on Saturday. Called Monday but they were full. Walked in on Tuesday. Front desk person seemed to be new so I will handle her with grace. Sheena took over to get me set up. Dr. Lemus was nice and easy to talk to. Got right to business. Maybe it was written on my face that I don’t waste time so I appreciate that. Service was quick. Yesenia was so sweet and personable. Definitely a good person to have on the team. Sheena was just awesome. Knew her stuff! Set me up for extraction and I had to go back an hour later (initial visit was just before lunch). Extraction was annoying lol. Got done in a speedy manner with limited discomfort. Tech with Dr Lemus was nice. Didn’t get her name (sorry). I’m doing this review on Sunday so it’s been less than a week since procedure. Bleeding was minimal. Pain was horrible but expected after the fact. The only thing I would change about this was the pharmacy I sent my meds to lol. Ultimately I did spend a pretty penny but the service I received was worth it. Yes it is their job but being nice was just icing on the cake. Thanks to you guys.

I would also like to add that hygienist who cleaned my teeth was difficult to understand because he was wearing a mask as well as the fact that he had an accent.

From the initial call to the wonderful tech to the dentist, they made me feel safe and didn’t shame me for not having been to a dentist is years. Experiencia negativa: I moved to this area and needed a dentist to clean my teeth. I went there and spent an hour without any cleaning. They did couple of x-rays and a whole mouth evaluation without doing any cleaning. After the visit they gave me a treatment plan that will cost $2500 after my insurance pays. I always visit dentist twice a year and never had these kind of experiences. This is not what I expected from a dental office.

From there, the team is able to make recommendations and discuss options that meet one’s individual needs. When schedules allow, offices do make the effort to offer treatment on the same day, but it’s not always possible. Experiencia negativa: BEWARE OF ASPEN DENTAL – SCAMMY PRACTICES AND UNNECESSARY SERVICES I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at Aspen Dental that I feel obligated to share to warn others. I went in expecting a routine dental visit, only to be bombarded with aggressive upselling and completely unnecessary treatment recommendations. They told me I needed a deep cleaning, multiple fillings, and other services that would cost me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars out of pocket. Something didn’t sit right with me – it felt like they were more focused on pushing a sales quota than actually caring about my dental health. So, I decided to trust my gut and get a second opinion. I went out of my way to see one of the highest-rated dentists in Fort Pierce, FL, and I’m so glad I did. After a thorough examination, I was told I only needed a regular cleaning. I was also told that I had NO cavities and absolutely did not need any of the additional services Aspen tried to push on me. Let me be clear: Aspen Dental tried to take advantage of me. Their goal was not to provide honest care, but to maximize how much they could charge me by recommending things I didn’t need. That’s not only unethical – it’s dangerous. Many patients may not realize they’re being taken advantage of and might end up spending money unnecessarily or undergoing procedures they don’t need. To future patients: please be cautious. Always get a second opinion if something feels off. And if you can, avoid Aspen Dental altogether. There are honest, reputable dental offices out there that genuinely care about your health – Aspen is not one of them.
