Came in for imaging in preparation for crown work next week. Modern technology lets us say goodbye to gag worthy impressions to be made so the lab can make a crown. Today was easy peasy. Looking forward to my new crown. 7/27 update. Came in for more fillings to be done. Crown installation went well last week in a previous appointment. Different dentist today. Dr. M and assistant Allison (I think) were both great!

Experiencia fantástica: Just had an extraction of a broken front tooth. Same old complaint: Perfect care! Perfect result! Dr Choi and assistant Kimmy worked seamlessly together. Both were everything they should be: considerate, informative, professional. They told me everything they were going to do and everything they were doing. Then they told me the results and checked to see how I was doing and answered any questions I might have. I must say I was a bit concerned going in. The tooth broke at the gum line and I am thinking, “How in the heck are they going to get that thing out without taking my mouth apart?!” They did it without fanfare and without issue. The REALLY amazing part is they extracted it through my right ear!! … OK, just kidding. They gave me great home care instructions and the rest is history, so to speak. Except, I had no pain at home. I did not even need an aspirin to get to sleep that first night.

Experiencia fantástica: Was in for a moller extraction due to a crown breaking off and the tooth splitting in half all the way though the roots. The tooth could not be saved. Both Dr. Jones and the assistant were very informative, comforting and gentle throughout the entire procedure. The procedure was over in 25 minutes start to finish (including 10 minutes numbing time). Completely painless. A job very well done by both.

Experiencia negativa: They did braces for me which were great. I had moved and asked if they could send new retainers, and was told no and I needed to come in and get new scans( which I could not do) along with giving them $400. Fast forward a few years later I was retreated where I had moved. My TMJ is so painful and my ortho wanted to see my most recent scan from Renton Dental Arts, so he could compare and get me out or pain. They said they have no way to get it. If they would have kept the original I would have something to compare it to, or they could have offered to send the scan to another ortho when I originally asked for it. Now Im in unbearable pain and cant get my bite right. This could have been avoided by my original request. I DO NOT recommend!!!! I paid for treatment they should have sent me my treatment records as I could not fly out there to get them. I paid for them therefore they are rightfully mine!

I’m going to miss her a lot. The girls in the office are always friendly and very helpful. All the doctors I’ve had working with me are always informative and explain everything they are going to do before I have the work done. If you’re looking for a dentist office to go to I highly recommend Renton Dental Arts.

Experiencia fantástica: If there is such a thing as having an enjoyable time at the dentist office, Renton Dental is it! EVERY time I’ve gone, the entire staff is warm, welcoming and friendly. Today I was in the chair just shy of 4 hours for 3 old silver cavity replacements and a crown. It was quite a relaxing experience considering all that was done. I do believe I may have even nodded off once or twice. (Without any type of relaxation/anxiety med.) A huge bonus of this office is that the crowns are made in-house. No need for a temporary crown and a return visit. Two HUGE thumbs up! I HIGHLY recommend them!

My girls started early, as soon as they had teeth, so going to the dentist has always been a normal part of their lives. The hygienists make it fun & the girls always enjoy “spending” their tokens on the way out. We plan to use the orthodontist here as well when the time comes for braces.

Have received care from multiple dental assistants and several of the dentists. All have been excellent. I have moved almost an hour away, but the travel is worth the distance.

Sometimes I cry and they offer me a blanket!! The other day I asked if there are any good breakfast places and they told me about the Mexican place two places down. The breakfast burrito was so good!!

Experiencia negativa: My husband went in for a teeth cleaning appt. for the first time at this office. He had visited there and got a new crown for a tooth, several months. He scheduled his 6 month cleaning appt. His dental health is amazing! He brushes twice daily and flosses daily. Has had no cavities for over 20 yrs. He has seen several dentist in his lifetime. No one has stated the need for a deep cleaning! After a series of standard xrays the hygienist says we're going to start your deep cleaning! My husband said no! He wanted a regular standard cleaning. He asked to speak to the Mgr. She claimed it was their OFFICE POLICY. This is an invasive procedure. It's for people who need a lot of help and have chronic issues. Be aware! They are looking to doing unnecessary expensive procedures, to generate more income! Good luck with your oral health ~

Experiencia positiva: I got a terrible crown from an error in the crown making machine hardware and it broke after a week.They corrected it with new crown immediately and apologized for the error. They have the newest high tech equipment, but it cost a little more than the traditional method , but you leave with a new crown in two hours with no 2 week temporary crown and a second visit. Sometime convenience is worth the extra cost.

Experiencia positiva: I've gone here for annual cleanings for a few years and the dental services itself has been fine. I am just disappointed with the customer service when I called in regarding a surprise $50 bill for fluoride. I got fluoride done before and received the same bill of $50 and some change, then I called in and requested that if any service is performed with an out-of-pocket cost, I would like to know beforehand. I was told that they would actually bill me $10 for fluoride. The last few times I came in, I didn't have fluoride done, but it was done for me on the latest visit. This time I actually received the bill for $50 so I called and they said they no longer provide the discount like before. So I asked why I wasn't informed of the price change and was told it's my responsibility to check with insurance. The clinic knows that insurance doesn't typically cover fluoride for adults, so they know whatever they charge will be patient's responsibility. An increase in service cost without prior notice especially I already requested to let me know in advance is a lack of transparency in my opinion.

My mom has been a long time patient and we will continue our dental care here for a long time. They treat elderly patients with dignity and understand what their needs are. In today's world of lack of customer service, Renton Dentals arts provides remarkable customer service and sets the bar high for what a wonderful dental experience should be. I had not met Dr Ohara, peridontist, before, but she was friendly and took the time to diagnose my rather complex dental problem, and come up with a plan that should address my tooth issue. She is very knowledgeable and explained things well.

I didn't have any discomfort afterwards. I am also pleased that I didn't have to go to another office to get my root canal treatment done.… 5-stars experience.....
