Experiencia fantástica: I went for my routine quarterly cleaning today. Sarah the hygienist did a through job. She was very professional, informative, intelligent and thoughtful. The other employees always interact with each other in a pleasant and humorous manner. You can tell it is a great environment to work. So many personable, well intentioned employees. After the X-rays were reviewed, Dr. IsBrandt provided insight into an upcoming procedure to replace an old crown that was helpful. As always, Thank you for all you do and the great service you provide to the community.

Experiencia negativa: Christina at the front desk has a special talent for turning a simple dental visit into a multi-day administrative saga. During my experience, she seemed completely unsure of what she was doing, yet very confident in adding extra charges that were never clearly explained upfront. Expect to lose a significant chunk of your day trying to sort things out in person—only for the fun to continue later. I was contacted after hours days later to rehash the same confusing issues, as if my time were an unlimited resource. The overall impression was disorganization, poor judgment, and zero respect for patients’ time. Unfortunately, there’s no way to avoid dealing with her, which makes the entire office experience exhausting. If you value clarity, efficiency, or peace, I’d strongly suggest going somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: If incompetence were a job requirement, Christina at the front desk would be Employee of the Month. Interactions with her felt like playing a game of Insurance Roulette—every time I asked a question, I got a different answer. Same insurance, same patient, entirely new reality. Impressive, honestly. Trying to clarify coverage was like talking to a brick wall, except the wall was less confrontational and more helpful. Worst part? There’s no way to avoid Christina. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist’s work is excellent, but the office enforced a $50 no-show fee even after an honest misunderstanding. I was currently in a different city and confused the appointment with my dentist there, not Dean Street Dental in Saint Charles. Despite explaining the mix-up and even offering to pay a reduced fee, the office refused any compromise. I wish the front office could be a bit more understanding of honest mistakes, and $50 seems a bit too harsh. The service felt rigid and inflexible.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve never been a big fan of going to the dentist and when my dentist retired I needed to find a new one so I chose one that was close to work. Well, much to my surprise my experience there has been nothing but absolutely fantastic! From the friendly staff, to the modern equipment, the assistance, the doctor, everything and everyone has been wonderful! I would highly recommend Dean Street dental to anyone in search of a new dentist or thinking of changing you won’t be disappointed.

She knew my concerns and health history as she had reviewed my online questionnaire. Dr. Isbrandt was very approachable and kind. His suggestions for repairs was straight forward and not pushy. Experiencia fantástica: Today’s appointment involved routine maintenance and cleaning of implants for dentures. The appointment was on time and my hygienist cleaned and inspected my implant posts and ultrasound cleaned dentures. Dr. Isbrandt examined the implants as well and declared all was great at a little over 2 years after implant surgery. I highly recommend this practice for general dental needs. I’ve experienced extensive dental care for many years and am very impressed with the professionalism and comfortable environment. It’s the type of professional experience that can be difficult to find these days. I was referred to this practice by my periodontist that installed my implants because the dentist I was working with retired. I was impressed when I walked in the door and the very positive experience continued with the hygienist and Dr Isbrandt. I would recommend this practice to anyone interested in having a quality and versatile dentist for their needs.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed in the administrative staff at this dental practice. The clinical team is great, and I am exceptionally happy with my aesthetic filling Doctor did for my front teeth. However, the admins are unprofessional, and unorganized. I could type up a whole thing about how rude, inconsiderate, and neglectful they are in detail regarding the situation and the several missteps along the way that have lead me to write this review. The administration does not detail the notes of when you call or what you discuss, their 3rd party answering service may get your phone number wrong so you wont get text reminders of your upcoming appointments, and when they have billing error on their end you will be disregarded. While I called and asked for a callback from a manager to review my account, I have not received one. They technically owe me $47 due to incorrect billing on their end, but I will get no where with them as they do not have a shred of accountability behind their front desk. Again, great clinical team, but their admins are a sloppy nightmare. Happy to cancel my cleanings and find a different office I would be comfortable to refer people to. UPDATE: Did receive a call from the office, only to ask if I wanted to cancel my next appointments, which per my previous phone call I already asked that to happen. I asked if they were going to discuss my account concerns, but that receptionist didn't have that information and said Christina would call me back in just a few minutes. After several hours I did get a call back, which after some back and forth it was deemed that since the staff was not trained enough and did not process the discount program at the time of my daughters first appointment that it could not be backdated even though I paid MORE than the cost of the program. Christina then tried to shirk off my concerns by saying the difference is minimal, however it is the principle of the matter that if my daughter had her program active, it would have saved money on that day THEN covered her next cleaning and when I got my plan it would have also received a 5% discount. I know it is under $50 that I am upset about, but the core of my disgruntlement is the disregard of my concerns and lack of accountability to make it right. Even while fully acknowledging that the fault is that the receptionist on that day was undertrained. With how my account stands, I would have to pay another $300 for my daughters next cleaning, when it would have been included in the program I thought she was signed up for as it was explained MULTIPLE TIMES in great deal as a cash paying patient over the phone prior to our first appointment. Please find a different office, because if there is any concern you should feel comfortable with a staff that is willing to work with you to make something simple like new staff and human error correct.

Dr Isbrandt and his staff are wonderful. Dental Hygienist, Hailey, is very thorough and gentle. The whole office is caring and accommodating.
