I want at least another 30 years out of my teeth -- before I won't need them, and these people are helping me achieve my goal. They do a great job with invisaligns too. I did my Invisalign challenge years ago at Canyon Lakes Dental, and they still take good care of my sleep time trays. Ah, time again for my semi-annual teeth cleaning. Everyone is so friendly, and I come home afterward with shiny clean teeth. Had my teeth cleaned again this afternoon. Careful (gloved) fingers fit in my my mouth. Ultra sonic gizmo chipping away at the tartar that built up since last time. Cheery conversation with the dental tech — and special note, when he asked me a question, he took his fingers out of my mouth so I could answer. My teeth a slick and clean again. The dentist and the staff at Canyon Dental are great folk.

They keep tabs on any findings with the X-ray that needs to be followed up at the next appointment. Appointments are easy to schedule or reschedule. Experiencia fantástica: 08/15/2024. just had another great visit at Canyon Lake Dental. Been going there for the past 7 years. The receptionist greeted me by name aa I entered the clinic. Kacy did a great job examining my teeth and clean them. I had a little issue with my bite and Dr. Lee took care of it right away. Will be back for 6 months follow up. 02/04/2026. Just had my 6 monthly dental check up with Dr. Lee at Canyon Lake Dental. The receptionist is very welcoming and the waiting area is clean and comfortable. Dr. Lee and her assistant is very gentle as always and also explained future dental needs and treatment plans .

Took her time with me to explain her proposed treatment plan and findings of the x-rays. She also performed my cleaning herself. First time a dentist has cleaned my teeth. I particularly enjoyed the dental assistant Stephanie. Her sense of humor and skill level will keep me going back. There was absolutely no “up-selling” by anyone in the office. I highly recommend Canyon Lakes Dental. So pleased I found them on Yelp and/or Nextdoor.

Experiencia positiva: Visiting for first time, so was nervous being with a new dentist. Calling for appointment, the administration was extremely helpful getting me in last minute due to a cancellation. When I arrived, the staff were extremely pleasant and handled me with care especially during the challenging X-rays which are my least favorite. Dr. Lee was super nice, extremely thorough in her examination and very knowledgeable. Best of all she didn’t try and upsell me on services and came back with a very reasonable quote for 3 fillings that needed to be reworked. Only criticisms would be that the space where I was in wasn’t as nice as my previous dentist, kind of run down, and I didn’t really get a good introduction to Dr. Lee. She came in with full mask, bandanna, microscope glasses and face shield, examined me, did my cleaning and left. Felt like an Urgent Care. Could be I was very fond of my previous dentist but since they stopped accepting my insurance, I had to move on. Overall, pretty positive experience. Looking forward to my next visit.

She’s an exceptional communicator, she listens carefully to your needs, and she never pressures you into unnecessary treatments. Instead, she clearly explains the pros and cons, offers thoughtful guidance, and gives you the space to make informed decisions about your own care. That level of respect and transparency is rare, and I appreciate it more than I can say. I also have to talk about my Invisalign journey, because it has been truly life-changing. Not only did Dr. Shilpi transform my smile, but she helped fix a jaw misalignment that had been causing me headaches for years. The improvement in my quality of life has been incredible. The precision, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through she brings to her Invisalign cases is unmatched. I felt supported at every step, and the results speak for themselves. If you’re looking for a dentist who is compassionate, honest, highly skilled, and truly invested in their patients, I cannot recommend them enough.

My wife is amazed at how caring and gentle the hygienist is and how efficient the office staff is. Billing and payments, working with our insurance, and the personal attention we receive there is exactly what we were looking for, and the front office staff, dentists and hygienests there are terrific!

Experiencia negativa: I have been a patient here for 25+ years. This was BY FAR my worst experience. A crown repair on one tooth took 2 hours and was painful for most of that time. And this was the temporary crown replacement! My previous review: Carole is a rock star! She has been my Dental Hygienist for more years that either of us would like to admit. Always the highest level of professionalism, but also balanced with caring. If you are actually fielding these comments, please let her know. And, yes, I have related that to her in person! She is a blessing.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Canyon Lakes Dental. I am someone that stayed away from the dentist for a while. Their skill, professionalism, and empathy made it easy for me to get the care that I needed.

Experiencia negativa: I was seen at this clinic by Dr. Bal. During my visit, the gum exam was done with such force that it caused bleeding in multiple areas and lingering discomfort. I’ve had many dental checkups over the years, and no dentist has ever examined my gums so aggressively. Right after this painful exam, I was told I needed a deep cleaning—which was surprising, since a different dentist I had seen recently said my teeth and gums were healthy and no deep cleaning was needed. The clinic also presented me with a list of expensive treatment options that didn’t align with what I was told elsewhere. I shared this experience in a review because I believe patients deserve to be informed. But instead of acknowledging or responding, the clinic apparently flagged my review, and Google removed it. That response says a lot. This clinic made me feel physically hurt and emotionally dismissed. I take my health seriously, and I expect the same from any medical provider. Based on my experience, I would not return and cannot recommend this place.

They recommended several expensive procedures that, after getting a second opinion, turned out to be completely unnecessary. It felt more like a sales pitch than a dental consultation. Be cautious and consider getting another opinion before agreeing to any treatments here. It seems their priority is money, not patient care.

She explains everything clearly, doesn’t rush, and somehow makes even dental advice feel encouraging instead of judgmental. No pressure, no upselling—just thoughtful, honest care. I never thought I’d say this, but I’m actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Experiencia negativa: This dentist practices very questionable billing, truthfully they will rip you off. I had several procedures there, some replacement fillings, a crown, and a tooth extraction earlier this year. My cost was over $1,100 just for the extraction. I paid them, but went to my insurer's site (Delta) and found my cost should've been $188 for this procedure. I called Delta and they recommended that I file a grievance (I didn't know you could do this). They investigated my claim and found that I had been over billed for every procedure I had there over the previous 9 months. The dentist charged me double what I should've paid them and I'm getting a substantial amount of money back. They are now on notice with the Delta. Unscrupulous doesn't even describe being ripped off while you're in the dentist chair. The oral surgeon is nothing short of a witch doctor with horrible bedside manner. The extraction was very painful, bloody, and I have residual issues. I don't recommend this dentist, they will smile at you while over charging you for everything. RIP OFF. If you've had any work here, go to your insurer's site and make sure you weren't a victim too.

Last time I was charged for a mouth guard I never ordered. Now I’m being charged for a filling I didn’t get. I had three filling done. But now they are trying to charge me for a fourth filling I never had done.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Chovatia is a highly skilled, thorough and knowledgeable dentist. She reconstructed my front teeth with the precision of a surgeon and hand of an artist. She takes her time and is gentle throughout the process. Her whole team is amazing as well. They are lovely, patient and friendly. I felt completely safe and relaxed in her practice, and knew all of my dental issues would be well taken care of by this highly capable group led by Dr. Chovatia. I will be using her for all my dental needs going forward. I can’t underscore enough how beautiful her cosmetic work is. Truly amazing.

They were able to install a temporary dental crown the same day while my permanent crown is being made. I highly appreciate the excellent prompt dental care and service.
