Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Turkewitz is amazing! He is the most patient, gentle, and understanding oral surgeon I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. We set a treatment plan and everything met my needs. No unexpected charges. Ms. Nicole, his assistant has the best energy. And anytime I went in for surgery, any nerves I had subsided. She just naturally helped me maintain calmness. I had denture implant surgery July 2025. Pain didn’t set in until about day 3. Minor swelling. Kept lots of facial ice packs on and off. It helped keep swelling to a minimum. Tylenol/motrin was a good remedy for pain. Healing abutments were placed in December. Temporary dentures, were given throughout the healing process as my gum structure did change. My final prosthesis was placed February 2026. The process is pricey, however being able to eat like a normal person is priceless and worth every penny spent. My teeth are as close to natural as they can be! And my smile has brought back the confidence I lost. Definitely recommend.

Experiencia negativa: After my son got a referral to orthodontics for crowding, I called Aspen Dental and requested an appointment for clear aligners. I was told that I had to wait until my son turned 16. So, a couple months later on his 16th birthday I called and made an appointment for clear aligners. Fast forward to the day of the appointment. We came into the office 30 minutes early. There was no one at the front desk so I signed in on the clipboard. 10 minutes later someone came in behind me and signed in. Still no one at the desk. Finally, 10 minutes after our appointment was scheduled, I stood at the front desk until I got someone's attention who then told me that I was past the grace period and missed the appointment. I told her I'd been here for over half an hour and pushed the clipboard towards her at which point she finally picked it up and walked away, only to come back a few minutes later and bring us into the back. Someone took my son to take some x-rays and then he came and sat in the dentist chair and a technician chatted us up for 10 minutes or so before the dentist arrived. She poked around in his mouth for a few minutes. Said everything looked pretty good. She recommended better flossing and said the front desk will see us out. At that point I told her that we were there for clear aligners and she looked very surprised. It was then she told me that they don't offer clear aligners to teenagers. That was it. No other reason to be there so we left. What a waste of time. Total clown show.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place I have ever done business with! They do not conduct in a professional manner and I believe they steal money! Do not discuss billing matters at the time of the appointment or when they confirm the appointment, do not inform u that ur provider has left and new provider is not in network until after ur appointment. Offer the craziest financing I have ever encountered. And don’t get me started about closing their office but not informing their patients. Stay away unless u want a headache!

Experiencia negativa: Why would you have appts available online for emergency visit if is not TRUE! I get woken up at 8am by a RUDE lady on the phone telling me I need to reschedule. Ask the reason for my appt I told her I’m in pain and she said my next available is March 3rd!! Yea you go head and try to have a tooth ache for 2 weeks not me. That’s lady gone over the phone it sure isn’t welcoming. Check her please! This isn’t a free clinic for her to talk like that.

The office was very clean and organized, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The dental team was absolutely wonderful. They took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood my treatment options without feeling pressured. The dentist was gentle, patient, and genuinely caring — which is HUGE for someone like me who gets a little nervous at appointments. What really stood out was how smoothly everything went. I didn’t feel rushed, and the entire staff worked together so well. They made something that can usually feel stressful actually feel easy and reassuring. If you’re looking for a dental office that is professional, compassionate, and thorough, I highly recommend Aspen Dental. 10/10 experience — I’ll definitely be back!

Experiencia negativa: Your establishment sucks. Horrible experience and very much overcharged for such a poor service. I left this office looking like I just got out of the ring with Mike Tyson and the recovery process was way longer than I was told. To this day my bottom dentures are still uncomfortable. I feel like for the money they charged I should have a perfect smile. I recommend highly that this should be the last place to go for any and all dental work. IJS

Experiencia fantástica: It was my first visit and from the time I checked in and until I left, it was a great experience. Jayla, the medical assistant gave me a tablet to fill out my questionnaire. The dental assistant that did my X-rays was humorous and made me feel comfortable. My Hygienist and my Dentist made me feel comfortable. They explained everything I needed for a healthy mouth and future advice on keeping my teeth healthy. Overall wonderful experience.

Experiencia negativa: Lady from this dental place called to get information from me for an appointment that I was to have two days later. I originally called for the emergency services that they say that they offer. This lady got my info and explained to me that they WOULD NOT be extracting the cracked tooth that I originally called about until they make sure THAT I CAN PAY!! So they aren't concerned with the cracked tooth and the pain I'm in, just whether or not I can pay! Wow!! SMH! I was able to find someone who set me an appointment for the next day. So thankful for the other dental company because I am in much pain! Hopefully, this review will help you see what seems to be most important to Aspen Dental! I wish that I could've given zero stars!

Experiencia negativa: Lady with blonde dreads and glasses is rude. Don’t put Walk-in services and emergency services if it’s not guaranteed and don’t lie to patients on the phone to lock them into appointments under false pretenses. I’m pregnant in pain and a milspouse and should not had to experience the unprofessional treatment that I have today. I will be reporting y’all to tricare. Update: I already called the customer service number who did nothing except connect me to the “answering service” who took information and lied about having an on call dentist call me back. You all will never get my business again

Experiencia positiva: UPDATE - things have improved so need to give credit where due. Front staff much better than in past. Helpful. Back staff still wonderful!! The back staff is just wonderful. Great experience each visit. Front staff not friendly and a lot of unprofessionalism. This is based on multiple visits and really takes away from overall ratings. The importance of good first impressions in business is very important and the front office staff should really be looked at. Not answering calls, eating at the desks and yelling back and forth, rude comments to patients from certain staff. Ms. Nancy is just amazing and a true gem!

Experiencia negativa: The office I visited in Ohio was very thorough and treated like they cared. The office on Military Hwy in Norfolk 1) Had a rude person answering the phone 2) the dentist looked at me for a couple of minutes and recommended all my bottom teeth come out and some of my top. They wanted 9,000$ AFTER my insurance paid. Now, to be fair, my teeth are bad. They don’t hurt me,though, and i was really going because they wouldn’t schedule a cleaning without a full exam. The hygienist and xray tech were incredibly nice, but i think they dentist was too quick to tell the DA to scratch what the last office said, scratch the cleaning the hygienist was going to do and tell my the teeth that I have need to come out. She did offer tissue when I started crying,tho.

Experiencia negativa: Today was my first visit to the Military Highway locatio in Norfolk. They emailed me this morning asking for my Insurance information. I called the number and it took at least 3 minutes to get through the AI part and then when I finally got through, the lady came on and said "Hold for a minute," then I waited another 5 minutes and she said she was too busy to talk (this is about 11 AM ) and she asked for my number to call me back. I never received a call back, and when I arrive about 2:50 for my 3 PM appointment, she wanted to see my insurance card and drivers license. I had left all that at home on my desk as I was waiting for the call back that I never received. I told her I had copies of both on my phone but it took me about 5 minutes to look for them after I was at counter looking at an employee who was frustrated because she couldn't handle all the calls and people. When I got back to her desk, she said it's already in to your appointment time. It was 3:02 on my apple phone. She said she would have to reschedule me asI was already into my time. 2 Minutes REALLY! I said forget it. Aspen Dental is too big for its own good. I will find a good independent Dentist. Unfortunately my dentist retired earlier this year and I thought Aspen Dental might be good for me because I have homes in Fl and Va. I was wrong. Support your private practice dentist.

Experiencia positiva: I felt that McKenzie did an exceptional job doing my x rays and all the preparations for the dentist. I spent the majority of my time with her. I had a few minutes with the doctor, she covered a lot of the things I had questions about and I felt she did a good job. Where they lost me was in the sales office. My particular dental needs were in the $23,000 range. I expected a detailed explanation of those costs but that was not the case. I was almost immediately handed a tablet so I could apply for financing. I was approved for partial financing north of 35% interest rate and deceptively displayed at a weekly payment. I wasn't born yesterday so I declined the predatory financing. I was then and only then offered a "limited" 10% discount coupon on the balance after the bad financing. Obviously the business office killed this for me and I won't be using Aspen Dental

Experiencia negativa: I went to Aspen Dental for an implant. The clinical work was fine. The administrative side was not. They require you to pay 50 percent or more of the pre-insurance cost when you schedule. If insurance later covers it, you have to request a refund. If you do not ask, they keep the money as credit for future visits( this is basically a free loan. Im NOT interested in receiving Aspen bucks . Just give me the money).In my view, that policy is confusing and not customer friendly. I have a doctorate , a great paying job, and probably a better credit score than dentist that work there. I have never been asked to place 50 % up front. I'm also fairly certain that this practice breachs many of thier contracts with insurance companies. Additionally, I was also rushed into procedures without a clear explanation or a written cost plan. They pushed to start several interventions and the implant in the same year, which maxed out my insurance and left me paying the rest out of pocket. The reasonable approach would have been to begin the implant the following year so benefits would reset. Bottom line: the front-office policies and communication made me lose trust and cost me money. The dentistry seemed competent, but the administrative operation felt high-pressure, non transparent, and unethical. I would not return and I would not recommend the location.

Experiencia negativa: This is a Scam. I was pushed into some Gingivitis cleaning I thought would be part of my regular cleaning. No you have to pay up front for it. NEVER have I paid upfront for a cleaning. Ever. Its sales people at the front desk. Im bringing a couple dental professionals to my so called Gingivitis cleaning.

Experiencia positiva: Insurance issues every time I have an appointment. Today had to pay co-pay because they didn’t call my other insurance for verification. After payment, I called my insurance for approval. It went through. They do this all the time. Also they wouldn’t refund my payment. It will take 10 to 14 business days.

Experiencia positiva: Employees and drs were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I believe I would have been very pleased with the services, but the cost and lack of accepting my insurance (cigna-DHMO), was out of my budget.
Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0. I would. Treated my wife and I very poorly. Took 11 months to tell us insurance didn’t cover it. Next thing you know hit with a 5k debt from collectors when we have the money to pay it.. could have just gave us the bad news and helped us out. do better. Oh yeah all of the work they did needs to be re done. DO BETTER.
