Espinal & Willis

Experiencia fantástica: I broke my tooth. My husband had been going to Dr's. Espinal and Willis' office. I hadn't signed up yet but when I called they got me in right away and took great care of me. Everyone was extremely kind and the offices, both Rock Hill and Fort Mill, are beautiful. I rate them an A+

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Espinal was very knowledgeable and helpful at my first visit with repairing my tooth. The entire office was extremely friendly and set a comfortable environment for a first time patient. The office is clean and modern and conveniently located in Rock Hill, SC. I highly recommend Espinal and Willis for a 5-star dental experience.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed with this dental office. After years as a patient, I decided to transfer my children to their office. I was not informed that they would be out of network with my insurance. Not only did this result in an over $500 bill for just cleaning (should be free in network), but the bill showed a filling done on my son. I was with him. No teeth were filled. The billing office was extremely rude and refused to waive the bill or even a portion of it. I filed a complaint with the BBB (complaint # 22208271) and their office ignored the BBB. This is questionable behavior and extremely poor customer service. Edit to address response from business: This office's reply is highly unethical and patently FALSE. The BBB did not close the case in their favor. The BBB's response says, "Upon review the BBB has determined the company has chosen to remain firm in their position and not offer an alternative resolution." Furthermore, this dental practice is in direct violation of HIPAA which states: " Responses cannot include any of the patient’s protected health information (PHI), even if the patient has revealed their own personal information." The US Department of Health and Human Services states that this includes health care provided, payment of care, etc. A compliant has been filed with the OCR.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the nicest Dentist I could have ever found in the Rock Hill area. From the minute I called their office,They were willing to help me with my issue after going to a dentist in Charlotte who didn’t care about me. This dentist office demonstrated that they truly care about their patient’s well-being. They are caring, compassionate, very professional and so much fun! They welcome you with smiles and make the dreaded dentist visit a great time. I highly recommend Dr. Knight and all his staff. Thank you for caring for patients the way you do!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an extraction done two weeks ago and everything went great. Great customer service and Shannon is always a help when I need to set up an appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommend for any dental work

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Willis has been my dentist for almost 16 years. He and his office staff have alwsys been nothing but kind, welcoming and professional. I recently was treated by Dr. Michael Knight and he is no exception. He is just as kind, patient and welcoming as everyone else in this office. Experiencia fantástica: The best dental service in Rock Hill. They are so courteous and really care.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Espinal and Britani are the best! They are passionate about denistry and taking care of their patients! Thanks for all your help with my smile!

Experiencia fantástica: Loved going here today! Really dreaded going back to the dentist and glad I was sent here. This place is really clean and the staff are super friendly. Please make this your place to go and see what I mean. Also, this place see's Veterans that are sent out in town. They do not have to do this and I can say that they do not get paid a whole lot compared to normal patients with normal insurance.

Experiencia fantástica: Having been going here for 20+ years and have always gotten good service.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff and dentists at Espinal & Willis are the BEST. I love places "where everybody knows your name" and the staff at Espinal & Willis fit this to a tee! They are kind, courteous and friendly and always helpful. The hygienists are very knowledgeable and always give information on optimal dental health and hygiene. Finally, Dr. Willis is one of the most gentle and positive dentists! Sometimes going to the dentist can cause anxiety, but his calm demeanor always makes me feel better.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly and professional! They took very good care of my wife and I and we are beyond happy that they are our dentist going forward. I recommend them to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Staff and physician were very friendly and addressed my concern in a caring and professional way.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful office with a friendly staff. Top notch!

Experiencia fantástica: Great customer service and professional. Dr. Willis is the best dentist I have had. The whole staff is top notch. Thanks for taking care of me.

Experiencia fantástica: I usually get nervous going to the dentist but here they make it extremely comfortable and an overall great experience. They work with you and make sure your taken care of.

Experiencia fantástica: They were really nice and very welcoming for it being my first time! Dr. Gonzales was amazing and she didn’t sugar coat anything! Got straight to the point and made the process so much easier! Definitely would recommend going and seeing these amazing dentists!!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to CCAD for over 20 years. The staff, hygienists, assistants and dentists provide professional care and treat me like family. Whether its a general cleaning or emergency situation, these are the folks to see.

Experiencia fantástica: On time, professional, Kayla did an excellent job. Dr W Provided recommendations. Everything explained. Job well done

Experiencia fantástica: I am apprehensive about dental work since my time in the service. The VA set up some appointments for me with Espinal & Willis, after the first appointment, I'm no longer worried about it. Everyone genuinely cared about my dental needs! Thank you all again

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional and highly skilled. I love the dentist and the entire staff. They are extremely proficient and professional. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Best Experience, Front Desk was very professional and helpful. My follow-up up went smooth .

Experiencia fantástica: Had a great experience. My hygienist, Shannon was very professional. She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire visit. Dr. Espinal was thorough during my exam. He was patient and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: So I had a deep cleaning at Español & Willis today at the ft. Mill office. I had Samantha or (Sami) as they call her and she has to be hands down the best hygienist I have ever had. She was amazing at everything she did from the very first hello when I met her to all the numbing she did around my mouth. I almost never felt anything. She never rushed me to open and close my mouth she always ask me if I was in any pain or if I need a break. OH AND DID I MENTION NEVER ANY PAIN....I sat in her chair for over 2 and half hours and it was without a doubt the best and I mean the best dental experience I have ever had. I am almost 60 and have had many dental experiences and I can say she was by far and away the best. Thank Janet for pairing her with me and thank u Español & Willis for having such an amazing person working there for ur patients. I can't leave out the Rock Hill people as well they were also great.

Experiencia fantástica: Exceptional service! Effortless and prompt appointments and scheduling, quick response by front desk and great service by hygienist and Dr. I definitely recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Kayla is wonderful. Very friendly and educates you on all your procedures. The entire team is great to work with.

Experiencia fantástica: I am a new patient with Espinal and Willis. I am very happy with my care. I was surprised to receive friendly text reminders the morning of my appointment. I especially want to recognize Joanne, who was very friendly and professional. She also called me right away when my granddaughter and I left leaving her ipod behind. It is very difficult to find a dental office which has both a skilled dentist, clinical and office staff who make you feel comfortable from the first time you call.

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional. Great service. Shannon did great job cleaning my teeth. They worked me in to get appointment before the end of the year. Thanks Espinal & Team!

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly office and very efficient! We loved them with only 1 visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Professional and friendly staff. Kayla and Dr. Gonzalez were great.

Experiencia fantástica: Always have a great experience. They take such good care of their patients.

Experiencia fantástica: I had work done by Dr. Willis, Christy, and Kayla. I myself am a victim of being afraid of the dentist because of a previous experience. Everyone was comforting and made my procedure simple. Very mindful about keeping pain to a low level and keeping the patient happy. They have state of the art technology to help with imaging and procedures. I wasn’t uncomfortable at any time during my procedure. Highly recommend for anyone that needs a higher caliber dentist. There isn’t one person that works here that doesn’t deserve a raise.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is both professional and friendly! Hygienist, Ashley, is great. I've been a patient for years and love going to them.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent experience with my initial visit to this practice. Very professional staff and thorough exam by Dr. Willis.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Willis did an amazing work with my upper fillers today! Highly recommended!!

Experiencia fantástica: The entire staff is phenomenal. They take time to ask how our family is doing and are genuinely concerned. They offer southern charm, a friendly atmosphere and excellent dental care. They definitely provide their services with a smile...

Experiencia fantástica: We were recommended to this practice by a neighbor when we moved to Rock Hill almost five years ago. So pleased we joined Espinall and Willis. Everyone who works here, dentists, hygienists, front desk staff, are all delightfully friendly, welcoming, professional and super good at their jobs. A fabulous practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience. Super hard to get numb and stay numb but Dr. Espinal manage today had a crown replaced and some decay removed on last tooth bottom left. I have been going here almost my whole life, first with Dr. Hook. I still love it even though I will always miss Dr. Hook. I highly recommend the practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I have really enjoyed my experience here. The lady at the front (so sorry I can't think of her name is awesome and sweet). Wesley is always so kind and does a lovely job picking up conversation where we previously left off to ask about my life. Overall, it is a very personal and pleasant experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to this dental practice for over a year now. They are so very professional, patient, and kind. You know you are getting quality care. I was so pleased when I found out that they treat children. Today I brought my two sons for their first cleaning. Shannon was so wonderful with them, as they came in pretty nervous. She explained everything she was doing and let the kids play a role in their cleaning, other than just lying there. Her friendly conversation and sweetness put them at ease. In the end they got toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, a prize from a prize basket, stickers, and even a small tour of the facility. Lol! My boys wanted to come back… like tomorrow! That’s saying something. Everyone here is a gem. They want to know you and care for you as a whole person. Get to know them, too. Yes, somehow it can be done in the midst of getting your teeth cleaned. Haha! They are pretty incredible people. Today I found out that Shannon’s dad used to own the practice. She has seen it through all the changes. Don’t hesitate in making a call to set up your appointment for you and your loved ones. You won’t regret it!

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone l have met in this office is wonderful to work with. Always professional, always pleasant, always accommodating. The office is super clean and very nicely designed.

Experiencia fantástica: On time appointment very clean office kayla awesome dental tech

Experiencia fantástica: Great office! The doctors and staff are a pleasure and I love the fact Dr. Willis explains everything in detail prior to any exam or procedure.

Experiencia fantástica: Professional, kind, gracious and mannerly, knowledgeable, using up to date technology, anticipate needs, informational, conscious of time. Service oriented. Impressive!

Experiencia fantástica: Best dentist office ive ever been to...by far. Wouldnt change a thing about it. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: If there was a way to leave 0 stars, I would have! Delta insurance it is now out of network. They saw me mere days after they terminated their contract with delta and I was not notified by the front desk at check in. When films were taken, I said I agree IF my insurance will cover the cost of them. The hygienist said it should and proceeded to do them. When I called my insurance they say they terminated their contract on March 18th and I was seen approx March 24th. I’m told by Espinal and Willis’ office that I was sent an email and letter stating that they were no longer in network. I searched my email back through 2017 and no email was sent. I never saw a letter. I only saw a bill for over 200 dollars with comprehensive dental plan. I’m taken back that the office takes absolutely zero responsibility in their lack of notifying me in person when I checked in and asked before X-rays taken. I will pay the bill but they have lost my business and my respect. I don’t want their omission of the truth to affect someone else that may have the same insurance and end up with a huge bill. After years of paying to see this office, I trusted them to be honest. I am a loyal customer and was treated like this. NOTHING was offered to remedy the situation or to keep my business.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been a patient at Espinal & Willis since about 2015 & I'm someone with a horrible fear of dentists; just the thought of making a dental appt & my anxiety spikes. I had traumatic experiences with dentists, so I absolutely hate going to see them & struggle to stay in the chair. However, Espinal & Willis has gained my trust... They're the best dentist in the area. They're considered a "premier" dentist under my insurance which means I pay more to be seen here, but I believe they're worth it. Not to mention one of the best points - crown visits are ONE appointment here, they've got a machine onsite to make your crown while you're in the chair. A++ dentist. I'll continue to go here for years to come. My only complaint is that I wish they didn't close down for lunch. This blocks out a really convenient time for patients to schedule an appointment. Would really greatly appreciate if they could take alternating lunch hours & offer that hour to patients.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a veneer to come off and Dr. Willis was on call. He was in a meeting in Charlotte and called me. He had me to meet him and his assistant at his office . He was very professional and very nice as his assistant. I have never meet either of them. He fixed my tooth and I was on my way for my weekend. I thank him so much for taking care of me. My time there was very relaxed and at ease that he would and did takecare of my problem. Thank you so much Dr. Willis.

Experiencia fantástica: Always professional and courteous staff. The Dr's and hygienists are very experienced, knowledgeable and great to work with. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Easy to get an appointment, short wait time once you arrive. The hygienists are very friendly and both doctors take the time to explain everything.

The staff and providers are very kind, personable and very knowledgeable. It is always a pleasure to see them. We highly recommend this practice should you need dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: By far the best dentist I’ve ever been to! The staff are amazing and really nice.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient at Espinal & Willis for years and love the friendly atmosphere and flexibility they offer! Sunday evening, my son fell and chipped his front tooth. I was so upset and wanted to get him to a dentist right away Monday! Dr. Espinal and his staff worked their schedule so they could see us and not only made concessions since Brooks is younger than most of their youth patients, but were so kind and generous with the exam and suggestions for follow-up treatment! I will forever be grateful!! ❤️

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very caring and attentive! We especially love the hygienists!!

Experiencia fantástica: Very professional service, better than any other dental office I have been too. I will be using this office from now on.

Experiencia fantástica: Every aspect of this practice is exceptional. Every member of the Espinal & Willis team is professional, friendly and great at what they do. Whether making your appointment, performing your cleaning, to even the dreaded root canal.

Experiencia fantástica: I just started going here a while back due to unfriendly office staff at my old dentist. What a BLESSING!! The folks here are super nice and Dr. Espinal is great!

Experiencia fantástica: Excited about my new Sure Smile straightening kit! They are always looking for the best products for their customers.

Experiencia fantástica: Love these folks. Very friendly and professional and they do awesome work. If you are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a dental emergency during this pandemic, I called the dental office and got a dental appointment with no problem. I have been going to this practice for 10 years and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly & courteous. The dentist’s & hygienist’s are the best.

Experiencia fantástica: Always nice and they do a great job explaining everything. If you have a question they can answer it. All around a good experience

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly atmosphere. Always does good work. Samantha did my cleaning and she is very nice and professional!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love Espinal and Willis! My wife and I have been going here for about 8 years. Everyone is very friendly and professional. I have been recommending them to all my friends and family for years!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Espinal and his staff work very hard. They do great dental work as well. Christy, his assistant, is top notch and truly cares for the patients. I highly recommend Dr. Espinal’s dental practice.

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience here with Dr. Willis. He was very knowledgeable, communicative, understanding, and overall kind. I really appreciated him explaining what he was doing at times. It helped me relax and was very informative of the processes he was performing. He would also stop just to ask if I was still doing ok, which is a small gesture that means a lot while having dental work done. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: If you’ve ever experienced tooth pain there are no words to explain how quickly things can escalate. I had an abscess in my mouth and was waiting to see a specialist. The pain escalated over the weekend and Dr. Espinal came in Saturday and Sunday to help me. We pulled the tooth in an emergency situation. He truly cares about his patients and went above and beyond. This is what all doctors should be. Caring, knowledgeable, and love their profession. The entire office staff is incredible too!! If you need a dentist don’t hesitate to make an appointment!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Espinal & Willis are very professional and easy to talk to. I love Dental Hygienist Shannon. She is so nice and makes you feel so comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Espinal & Willis’s office to anyone who wants a highly experienced and a highly professional dentist for any dental need they have.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to this dentist office since 2nd grade and I am now 35. My entire family also uses this practice. The staff and dentists are amazing and make you feel very comfortable.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient here for years and love it!! All the staff are so warm and professional. Each time I've had any procedure it has been quick and painless- I didnt even feel the stick for the numbing agent today! I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a fantastic dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, they take the time to explain things and make prioritized recommendations for treatment plans. Sera has been my go to hygienist for a few years now and always takes meticulous and excellent care of my teeth every time.

Experiencia fantástica: Sera is great! She is gentle but gets the job done. The dentists take time to go over your teeth and the plan to keep the teeth healthy. I have never been so pleased with a dentist. If you haven't tried them, you should.

Experiencia fantástica: Ale is friendly, very personable, and highly educated in her field! Dr. Espinal is an outstanding person, as well as, doctor!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Espinal & Willis after I pulled out one of my fillings while flossing. Dr. Espinal was able to see me the same day. His assistant Britani was great and she helped me relax while waiting. Their treatment plan was conservative, I definitely didn't think that I was being overcharged. Nice office and great atmosphere.

Experiencia fantástica: Highly recommended! My kids (ages 3 and 5) went today for the first time ever at the dentist. The office staff and Hygenist were spot on and professional. They made my kids feel so comfortable and created a great experience for them. Sera and Ally were amazing. Dr. Willis is so comforting and made them feel very relaxed! My kids are already planning their next cleaning visit! Thank you Dr. Willis and Staff!!

Experiencia fantástica: Love this practice. The entire staff from the front desk to the dentists are wonderful.
