Experiencia negativa: Had a tooth that needed to come out badly. The dentist gave me one shot grabbed the tooth and pulled it with his fingers. $433 to do the procedure, over billed my insurance them issued a credit for $173. I believe that is insurance fraud. If you want to get ripped off make sure you go there. They charge 3 times as much as any other dentist. It's your money and they will no longer be getting any of mine.

I broke a tooth a couple months ago and just recently saw they were taking new patients and thankfully they are taking my insurance again. Made a appt and was able to get me in right away. Experiencia fantástica: I had a tooth break on a Monday night and my dentist was unable to get me in for an appointment. I called Riverwest and they got me in the next day to see what could be done. Luckily it was and easy fix and they were also able fit me that same day for a crown. Dr. Chandler and his assistants are amazing. All are very informative and let you know what the cost will be as well as the procedure. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The assistant also explained the financial side of the choices clearly. I was not blindsided at the end with extra fees or any of that. What we discussed was what I paid. They were all very kind and patient, willing to pause their work whenever I felt overwhelmed. I would go back to them for any other dental needs, and I would recommend them to my family.

I was pretty upset when I came in, but by the time I left I felt so much better. He was also able to take care of a pretty difficult root canal that I ended up needing. Experiencia negativa: I went in on a saturday morning for an emergency call and they were kind enough to fit me in. However prescribed me something for an infection to a special pharmacy that was closed for the weekend. They couldn't provide me with anything to help it and the advice they could give after I had to call and tell them that said pharmacy was closed was to gargle with salt water. A visit just to tell me that. A little unprofessional in my opinion!

Experiencia fantástica: A woman who works in the office, "Katie" (is what she said her name was) falsely claimed that my dental insurance had expired. I told her she was looking at an older, expired insurance and that I had a crown done just recently under my new insurance. She kept insisting my insurance was expired and cancelled my appointment. I was alarmed, so I made several (documented) phone calls to my insurance company to confirm my insurance was not expired; then I had my insurance company email and also fax that information to the dentist office. Did that take care of it? NO. Even after that, the office staff kept falsely claiming I had no insurance. I had to find a new dentist for my appointment. I would not recommend this provider because, although the dentists are good here, the office staff, in my opinion, is incompetent. Katie needs to be educated on how to do her job and how to pull up correct insurance information on patients.

Experiencia positiva: If you have medicaid, I'm sure you know how much a pain in the butt it is to find a dentist that accepts it in this town. I reached out to Riverwest to see if they were accepting new medicaid patients, and the only slight complaint I have is that they require patients with medicaid to schedule same day or the day after. I was able to rework my schedule however and the care I received was wonderful. The staff are extremely kind and quick with their work, but they make sure to walk you through everything so you understand what is happening. I appreciate their kindness and will recommend them to others.

Dr Klinger explained everything that needed to be done and took extra care to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I’ve already scheduled another visit for a cleaning.

I found these guys, got my son in the next morning! They were so amazing and wonderful to work with! My son is truly afraid of going to the dentist and the doctors. They put him at ease and we have another appointment to remove his wisdom teeth. Amazing staff all the way around!

I had a crown fall off and my regular dentist wasn't open for another 5 days, they were able to get me in the next day and provide me with different options of what to do. The crown is not very old, so they recommended that I talk to my regular dentist about a possible warranty when they open back up, and temporarily cemented the crown back on so I wasn't bothered by the sensitivity until then. I really appreciate the willingness to help and provide me with options in my best interest.

Dr Chandler was able to clean up the interface, remove all the traces of the prior bonding cement and re-cement the existing crown back in place with an excellent fit. Kayley was an excellent assistant in terms of speed, thoroughness and teamwork.

I came out of the shoot with a broken crown upon arrival. Finding myself scrambling to find a provider that was in network. After asking around I was referred, by a life time Idahoan, to RiverWest Dental, praised be! I was examined and taken care of on the spot walking out with a new crown and all’s well, within 2hrs., (Note: they do it all in house, start to finish). Just went back for my semi annual checkup and cleaning. Best cleaning I have had in years, thanks to the hygienist, very thorough and explained everything she was doing and looking for, as it should be!
