San Marcos Dental Studio

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you for making dentistry a pleasant experience. The many times I have visited your office has always been a positive experience and look forward to more of the same. Best regards. Mike Stednitz

Experiencia fantástica: I had a fractured tooth (#12) a few days ago and was in severe pain, so I was looking for a dentist who could treat me as soon as possible. I came across Dr. Shahrokh and booked an appointment through his website, which was very easy to use. He called me in the morning, asked about my pain, and told me to come in earlier for treatment. Dr. Shahrokh explained everything in detail. I asked him to save the tooth if possible, and he mentioned that the fracture was below the gumline. He performed a procedure to place a crown without extracting the tooth. I am very grateful to him and would highly recommend him. I also have a very bad gagging issue, and the dental assistant was very understanding and treated me patiently. The front office manager was also very professional. Overall, my experience was very good. Thank you, Dr. Shahrokh.

Experiencia fantástica: In my appointment with San Marcos Dental Studio, the staff, dental hygienists and dentist were all very professional, informative, and friendly. Id recommend them if you're searching for dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: By far one of the best dental experiences ever! From a clean and modern office, the greeting staff to the dental assistants and of course the amazing Dr. Shahrokh. I was so nervous to have my first crown, Dr. Shahrokh and his assistant were beyond gentle and patient with me. I wish I could give more than 5 stars Highly recommend this Dental Office!

Experiencia fantástica: Been going here for a few of years now. Great dentist, great staff. Friendly, professional, no upsells and pressure.

Experiencia fantástica: Laleh always does a great job of cleaning my teeth. She's thorough and gentle. The staff is very professional especially the office manager Tammy

Experiencia negativa: Zero confidence in findings or recommendations. No services including cleaning offered under insurance... just X-rays to justify excessive treatment and no low cost alternatives

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent hygienist and dentist. Been a patient for several years and have always received superior service coupled with caring attitudes!

Experiencia fantástica: Each time I go in to the office. The front desk people always are very kind and friendly. This visit I only had a teeth cleaning, and X-rays which all went great. One thing I will say I had upper dentures made over two years ago and they still Fit fine with no glue or compounds or powder, which is to say a lot for the talent of Dr. Banak.

Experiencia fantástica: Always so nice and friendly. They take the time to explain what’s going on what needs to be done.

Experiencia fantástica: Friendly staff. Positive tesults!

Experiencia fantástica: The Enzo team is amazing (Dr. Diegels team) - had basically no pain and they fully informed me after of what I need to do

Experiencia fantástica: Replaced my crown in 15 minutes. Very good service.

Experiencia fantástica: The clean, modern reception/waiting room leaves a great first impression. Office staff is friendly and efficient. The doctor had a very gentle touch while extracting a troublesome tooth. I highly recommend this dental practice and look forward to returning in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: The VA referred me to San Marcos Dental Studio, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Every visit has been a great experience—the team is professional, welcoming, and truly cares about their patients. They’ve helped me numerous times, and I’ve made it a point to come back every six months. Highly recommend to any veteran or anyone looking for a reliable, top-quality dental office!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been to many different dentist over the years in three different counties as I move a lot. Keep coming back because they truly take good care of their patients. Even when a deep cleaning is needed I found they are the least invasive or painful. Will continue to come back even though I live in Los Angeles. Great practice!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Friends of ours referred us and my entire family really appreciates the level of expertise. Very calm and caring staff - highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Longtime client since 2018. The depth of attention and gentle care I have experienced has been consistent. Thanks to Dr. Shahrokh and Laleh for their investment in my oral health and wellbeing. 10 stars!

Experiencia fantástica: First time at this office and they were amazing! Very friendly & professional staff. The office is very clean & they stayed late to ensure my dental procedure was completed. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Great dental studio, super nice staff all around!

Experiencia fantástica: I came in with the Marriott of dental issues. Along with the California dental grant and working with The awesome dentist I am getting my teeth taken care of for a fraction of the price. Invisalign to straighten out my teeth, plants to fill in my gaps, and then we have a plan of action to prevent future grinding, so hopefully I can keep my teeth for life! Love them here!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing. I love this dental office. The dentist does amazing work. And the front office is awesome too. Everyone is so nice

Experiencia fantástica: Is it was super fast and super friendly and very accommodating will use them again

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time having dental work done here. The staff were very accommodating and ensured I was as comfortable as possible with the exam and cleaning. Definitely recommend this office to others in need of too notch dental care.

Experiencia fantástica: Great! very easy experience, I was in and out! great service!! highly recommend this dentist!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been to many dentists in several states. Some have been very painful and others rough and rude. Every time I go to San Marcos Dental Studio everyone is very cheery and helpful. The treatments I received were very professional and they answered every question I had. I am on a focused and well informed path to maintaining my oral health. Thank you to everybody at San Marcos Dental Studio.

Experiencia fantástica: The office staff is very friendly and accommodating to my schedule. The work I had done by Dr. Shahrokh was top quality. He was very kind and gentle. He explained everything to me prior to starting the work. I highly recommend San Marcos Dental Studio.

Experiencia fantástica: Everyone at this office is extremely nice I highly recommend seeing this dentist.

Experiencia fantástica: One best Dental office San Marcos. The Staff are awesome. I feel the dentist at the San Marcos dental office. I feel Very honest office and I feel Doctor very honest and very professional. Doctor Is 5 Stars not joking.

Experiencia fantástica: This is, hands down, the best dental office i have ever been to. The staff were professional and knowledgeable from the front end to the back end. The dental hygienist who performed my cleaning was amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and professional. I would recommend this office to anyone and everyone. 15/10

Experiencia fantástica: I had to a bridge replaced. Dr. S. was very thorough. I am pleased to recommend him and will continue working with him in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently visited this dental office and had a mixed experience. The dental doctors and hygienist were truly exceptional — they were kind, attentive, and took the time to carefully listen to my concerns. Their professionalism and care made me feel well taken care of and confident in the treatment I received, no doubt I will be coming back. However, my experience with the front desk staff was less positive. The receptionist came across as disengaged There was a lack of warmth and understanding It would greatly improve the overall experience if the same level of attentiveness and empathy shown by the clinical team were also reflected at the front desk.

Experiencia fantástica: Always painless cleanings!! The most efficient dental office I have been to. Thank you for the fast and superb cleaning

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was friendly, very clean ,didn’t have to wait long .

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was very very helpful the dentist was awesome. They explained everything I needed to know there was no pressure. I know I have a lot to think about, and I appreciate they're giving me time to think this through

Experiencia fantástica: I was apprehensive and questioning wether I made the right choice. After meeting the Dentist I felt totally at ease. He listened and heard my request . He put me at ease . All who work there made me feel welcome. A plan was made. I accepted it. Relaxed and confident I made the right decision. I strongly recommend anyone needing implants to check with SAN MARCOS DENTAL STUDIO

Experiencia negativa: This guy completely ruined two of my front teeth. He unnecessarily sanded down the back of one of the teeth to make way for an implant that ended up falling out numerous times and then when I confronted him about it on a later appointment he denied that it was him. Literally the only dentist that I’d seen in several years prior to that incident. His secondary dentist even chastised me about the procedure, saying that “you’re foolish for such a procedure, why would you do that?” Should’ve walked out when on the very first visit I asked him if he does said procedure, looks at his assistant, and asks “what is that?” And he had to correct the guy that allegedly went to school for a long time for such a thing. In between all that the guy and his secondary dentist just carried bad energy towards me. I’d trust one of his assistants for a routine cleaning but anything behind that be warned. Cold, uncaring, and absolutely zero accountability.

Experiencia fantástica: Staff was very friendly made you at ease. Dentist explained everything and answered any questions you may have very nice made you feel at ease

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience having my implants done and my great looking teeth fitted. Dr. Shahrukh and his staff made me feel comfortable even though I am wheelchair bound with limitations. The San Marcos Studio is also a VA Community participant and right off of San Marcos Blvd.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff was great. Especially the dentist which can make a break... well as dentistry. He was very informative, while still taking into consideration my personal goals as well. He found me a simple and affordable solutions path. So second half of my face, and i once again have a smile. It's not the best but it's way better than my worst. I'm so happy to have found this location. I can smile again. Today is a great day and it's bc of the doc and staff there. I recommend 100%

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely incredible. The entire team is always working their hardest and providing the perfect service anyone could ask for!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Shahrokh and his team are very professional and kind. I’ve been going to the office for my regular check ups for years. On two occasions I also had some gum discomfort and they were able to fit me in quickly to evaluate it for me. Recently had a new crown to replace an old inlay and also my regular cleaning today. Everything went well as usual.

Experiencia fantástica: Love coming back here every time. Tammy and the the rest of the staff are always so caring. Laleh did an amazing job with my bi anual cleaning. This dental studio offers professional and friendly service. Thank you SMDS.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a pleasure to come into San Marcos Dental Studio. They do a great job of cleaning my teeth and don't recommend unnecessary services.

Experiencia negativa: The office was clean, front desk was nice, but the person taking X-rays seemed like she doesn’t know how to, she was also rough and seemed annoyed by any questions. The manager was condescending and the experience as a whole was negative. Do not recommend wasting your time there!

Experiencia fantástica: I love Dr. Shahrokh and staff! Very friendly, very professional and very reasonably priced.

Experiencia fantástica: Laleh is always extremely conscientious, gentle and kind. I truly believe that I am well-cared for and that the entire staff is invested in my health.

Experiencia fantástica: They are really professional and not trying to tell me something that I don’t need just to make money and Dr. Shahrokh let me knw what was most important to fix first and what we could do in the 2nd half of the treatment, I really like them

Experiencia fantástica: Great experience! Everyone here is so nice. They all very good at what they do. I highly recommend San Marcos Dental Studio.

Experiencia fantástica: San Marco Dental Studio saved me! I was passing through town on the way to Mexico and a dental crown came off at dinner. They kindly squeezed me in for an emergency appointment first thing in the morning, xrayed me and recemented my crown in 45 minutes flat. Such a great office with wonderful staff and a fantastic dentist. Thanks for saving me and my trip, San Marco Dental Studio!

Experiencia fantástica: A crown fell out while eating. I called Dr. Shahrokh at 4:57 PM. He waited for me to get there to re-glue the crown. Great service!

Experiencia fantástica: Exceptional care and fantastic customer service! I highly recommend this dentist. Ive been to other dental offices in San Marcos who tried to sell me expensive, unnecessary procedures. That has never been the case here. Also, great follow up and attention to detail. This practice is awesome!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Always have a great experience. Dr. Shahrokh is always patient even though I usually need more novocaine. Staff are friendly and the outcome is always wonderful.

Experiencia fantástica: They need more than 5 stars. The whole staff including the dentist were so helpful. They took me in at the end of the day w/o any appointment just to help and ease my concern and anxiety about my implant crown. Thank you so much. Luisa

Experiencia fantástica: In my opinion Dr Shahrokh is great. He has a calm manner and does good work. However the desk has tryed charging me for what was covered by insurance the last two times I went. Just know what your insurance covers.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the best dentist in San Diego. They get right to it and take care of business. Very friendly staff..

Experiencia fantástica: My experience was great, the entire staff at San Marcos Dental Studio was pleasant and welcoming. I was greeted with smiles from all, they paid attention to my concerns and questions, and I left my exam feeling comfortable with the future work to be done.

Experiencia positiva: Well, not all that positive today. It was a little slow to get started on my procedure. Maybe the Dentist is stretching his time management a little thin. The office needs some decoration if some sort. It's just plain white walls. Kinda boring.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Shahrokh is by far the best dentist I have ever had. I recommend all my friends and family. He really cares about his patients and even came in on a Sunday to help me with an emergency. Ive had cleanings, fillings, chipped teeth fixed & a night guard made & every time Im there, I really feel taken care of and I trust him and his staff completely.

Experiencia fantástica: I am extremely nervous with dentists because of an horrible nightmare experience 20 years ago. I have to say that the staff at San Marcos Dental Studio eased my anxiety!!! Tammy, you were right!!!I was very comfortable! First time ever! Thank you so much! Excellent chair side manors, Dr. Babak Shahrokh thank you and your staff once again for easing my fears of the Dentist office!! Experiencia fantástica: Looking for a new Dentist in a new town especially when you are afraid of dentists can be daunting. Luckily I found San Marcos Dental Studio. Top notch people and facilities and fair prices. Highly recommended.

Experiencia negativa: I had a disappointing experience with Tammy the receptionist. Her attitude was off-putting and it seemed like she didn't enjoy her job. Tammy is unapproachable, making it difficult to ask questions or address concerns.I suggest the management work on improving customer service training to enhance the overall experiences.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been here a few years now. They provide a thorough cleaning in nice facilities. I will continue to come here for dental cleanings.

Experiencia fantástica: Always a great visit at San Marcos Dental Studio. Melina is always so welcoming at check in and makes you feel right at home. The back office staff is so kind and attentive. Will definitely refer my friend and family here.

Experiencia fantástica: I reluctantly tried this dental office after almost two years of not going to the dentist. The last place I went to left me never wanting to visit a dentist again. The front lady was so welcoming and friendly, my nerves went out the door when I went in. The hygienist was patient and kind when I needed you use the restroom mid visit. The dentist spoke so calmly and talked me through everything. I will absolutely be back in 6 months for my check up!!

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent place! I like everyone there, especially the dentist!!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was visiting us from out of the US and didn't have dental insurance, she had a dental infection and Dr Babak Shahrokh was able to take her in and the procedures including cap placement after root canal was taken care of within the day. I really appreciate the thorough and quick turnaround. I will highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Shahrokh is an excellent dentist with the state of the art technology on your side to provide best treatment with highest specialty, respect and care

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Shakhrokh is very professional and nice. He’s proactive with dental care which is nice since I’d rather not think about it. The staff is very nice and his dental hygienist is the best i’ve ever had. Her cleanings are thorough. The office is clean. However, the staffs were excellent and got me in a few minutes later. Long story short, had my teeth extracted painlessly. I’m very happy with the service and he’s now my regular dentist going forward. Thanks to San Marcos Dental Studio and all the staffs for helping me through a painful time.

It is pristine clean, well-lit with gentle lighting and gentle neutral colors. Everything about this studio is total zen, including the sublime music heard softly in the background. Everything about the office is calm and serene, especially the manner in which the dentist and his wonderful team conduct themselves. I happened to find out also online that my dentist, Dr Babak Sharhrokh, is also a stand-up comedian in off hours. His team also adds wonderful aspects of charm to the studio. His dental hygienist, Laleh, is careful, and gentle, taking time giving a through cleaning to teeth and gums. The dental assistant, Brian, is courteous, soft-spoken, and attentive.
