From general appointments to emergencies they have never let me down. It is comforting to have a dental team you can call at any time and they will always be there to fit you in. Experiencia negativa: I had been going here for years. Great dentist, top notch. However, this year something has gone very wrong with their billing. I have been waiting 6 months (since March '25) for them to reimburse my BCBS insurance payment that was sent to them for a January service. This happened again in July so it is not a bug, but rather a feature of the billing system. Although they owe me money, I paid in full today so as not to be sent to collections and endure more frustration. I have explained the situation to them 6 times having to repeat the details of the problem each time anew in what I presume is a "Sisyphean" punishment. As another reviewer wrote here, "lots of run around". I get a promise, then follow up and then get a different explanation and promise. Proper note taking is not practiced here-- I should have recorded every call. I am very frustrated and sad that I have to give up the best dentist I have ever had. I have given up calling them. If you also are having billing problems here you are not alone. I have moved on to a new dentist with ethical billing practices. Update: I got some of my money back but only for the July. However, the January 2025 BCBS reimbursement made to them still has not been refunded to me.

Experiencia negativa: Do not go here. My husband and I have been battling the office for reimbursement from our cleaning appointments for over 6 months now. When we went for our cleanings the office had us pay in full upfront. We then noticed a couple months later that the office never submitted to BCBS for reimbursement. We finally got them to submit and then BCBS sent the check to the dentist office. I spoke with BCBS and they said we were also charged 2X the negotiated rates for BCBS. So now I have paid $500 OOP and BCBS has paid the office $250 OOP aka Wellesley Dental Arts has received $750 for a visit that should have cost $250. I have been calling the office daily for 2 weeks now and no one ever picks up the phone. The one time I spoke with someone they told me the reimbursement specialist was out until the following Monday so he would call me back then but I never heard from him. We are beyond frustrated and out $1,000 as a household now for two cleanings. I am genuinely at a loss for what to do except maybe drive down to speak with them in person. We are so frustrated by the lack of communication and clear disregard for ethical billing practices.

I appreciated her direct and informative communications, and her recommendation for Dr. Raymond Lee who did the implant. I would not hesitate to recommend her and her team for dental services.

Experiencia negativa: Sadly, after today's appointment I'm no longer a patient of this practice. Went in for a scheduled cleaning. Normally I'm taken to a room downstairs but today I was upstairs. No doors on rooms, no music playing, no earphones offered -- all of which is normally acceptable, but for 39 of the 40 minutes I was in the office, a child screamed. I truly felt bad for this young one as it must have been terrifying or painful, but I left the office with a severe headache from the screaming. It was constant. It was loud. I expressed my concerns to the technician, but he just shrugged it off. I realize there was nothing anyone could do to calm this child, but music/headphones/a door would have been great. When my cleaning was complete, the technician said he'd go get the doctor. He came back 30 seconds later and said the doctor had to leave early (it was only 11:15am) and would review my xrays and charts later in the day. Sorry, but part of the bi-annual exam is being seen by the dentist. Reschedule your patients if the dentist can't be there, or at least give the patient a choice to reschedule. Upon leaving, I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk. He seemed indifferent about my concerns. Basically didn't care at all. I said I was done with the practice and wanted my records sent to me. In additional to all this, I just wanted to add that the cleanliness was less than par. The wall in the exam room was filthy as if years of mouth excrement had landed there. And the bathroom was not very clean, with an overflowing trash can. Again, this was the morning so no way it had been filled up that day. Done with Wellesley Dental Arts. Will find someone more compassionate and available to see patients.

Experiencia negativa: Do NOT Trust This Office Without Reading Everything First I ended up paying $1000 out of pocket because this dental office didn’t properly inform me of what was or wasn’t covered. They acted like they cared, but in the end, it felt like they just wanted to get paid. Important advice: Read every single page before signing anything — even if English is your second language. Ask for a detailed pre-quote for all procedures, not just a verbal estimate. Don’t assume your insurance will cover everything, especially when they do medical-type procedures at a dental office (which many insurances don’t accept). I trusted them and got used. Don’t make the same mistake I visited their office in person and also followed up by email — seven times, including messages to their manager. Unfortunately, I received the same result each time, with no resolution or meaningful response. I’m disappointed with how this was handled and expected better customer service.

Experiencia fantástica: Wellesley Dental Arts has a new machine which is faster and less painful than the traditional "scaling" or scraping of the teeth. It cleans under the gum, which the scaling can't do. I was out of there much more quickly, with cleaner teeth than ever. I was given the choice between the new machine and traditional cleaning, and I'm so glad I chose to try it! The lady pros there are very nice and careful ... as much of a pleasure as can be had in a dentist's chair.
