I had to have an emergency wisdom tooth removal that required more time and tools. Doc was patient and excited to show me the split root(gross lol), but it was fast and painless.

Experiencia negativa: Got there a few mins early at 9:55 appointment was at 10:15. Took them a hour to get me back there. Waited like 30 mins for a dr to even see me and when she did I couldn’t even understand her. Language barrier maybe but she was talking way too fast like she wanted to hurry up and go back to whatever she was doing and left than waited 5-10 more mins just to get told I need to go to a specialist 30-45 mins out.

Experiencia negativa: I had 2 separate appointments for plaque removal and fillings. My first appointment with Dr. Paul went great. She explained my treatment plan and why they were necessary to improve and maintain my tooth health. She scheduled the second half of my cleaning as well as my fillings for another day. She was unable to conduct this second cleaning due to being out of town, which was no problem. My dentist for my second appointment took it upon herself to decide that 1 of the 3 fillings was unnecessary, so she did not do it. She also crudely scraped at my teeth rather than using the vibration tool like Dr. Paul, leaving me with heightened sensitivity. I initially trusted her judgement until realizing that there is still plaque build up on the teeth that she "cleaned", and I was still billed for all 3 fillings. In hindsight, it seemed like she cut corners and shortened my appointment in order to go to lunch on time. I have nothing against Dr. Paul, she was exceptional. I just hope going forward that her substitute doctors actually follow through with the treatment plan she provides in her absence.

Experiencia fantástica: Dentist make me nervous and I don’t know why that is but they do and they always have. Called and got an appt. They sent me paperwork and filled it out online to save time when I arrived. Had to wait about 20 minutes passed the appt time because they were waiting on the insurance verification, no biggie I understood I mean I didn’t have any other place to be. When they took the X-rays and then told me what was wrong and what had to be done I was overwhelmed. I didn't know what my cost was going to be even with the insurance. The staff was absolutely amazing talking to me about the procedure and even my worry about the cost because I didn’t know if I had enough or not. This lady comes in with paperwork and explains that even with insurance the procedure could be pricey. She helped me fill out the financial part and I was amazed on what I had to put down today, barely nothing because my insurance covered the biggest part. The point is the staff, the doctor, the financial lady, the receptionist made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in the door. Thank you.

Experiencia positiva: I've said before that I hate them, really it was my own issue because I couldn't afford the treatment, taking care of my father financially then not being able to afford dental treatment for my excruciating pain had me mad! Still over priced for me, but they were open on a Saturday and were there for my emergency. I went in and had two teeth removed and bone graph and she did great.

Experiencia fantástica: Awesome!!! Me and my daughter have been going to Ace dental in Hewitt for a few weeks now. I have never been to a Dr's office where the entire staff is so amazing!! Today i was having a problem with teeth and was so nervous about what they may have to do as well as the cost. It started with Allie at the front desk (WE LOVE HERR) she totally took control by explaining it all to me and making sure I knew there was nothing to worry about. Then Sam took over and was my rock through the entire procedure (along with the stress ball) . And Dr. Kumar talked me through to the end. Forever love this dentistry. ❤️

So here I am with half my wisdom teeth still in side my mouth. This is THE WORST experience of my life

Dr. Paul, Tiare, and Grizel not only gave me amazing, efficient, quality dental care/service, but they also restored my faith in the medical industry and showed me that true doctors that live to serve are actually still out there. Today is the day before Thanksgiving, and I’d been having pain in the back/right side of my mouth the past couple of weeks. Last night it progressed to an intolerable level, and I set up an appointment for the following morning at a clinic in Waco – I won’t say where because I don’t want to ruin the livelihood of anyone working there, but just know it was a clinic in a very expensive location, and they had quite high-end equipment and were well-staffed. I was there from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and at the end, the scheduler told me the soonest they could even get an extraction on the tooth was in a week! I asked about emergencies, and they just said they close at 3 and then would be closed for Thanksgiving break. So I left and desperately tried to find a dentist who could do an extraction with less than two hours before the end of the business day before Thanksgiving. After calling around, only ONE dentist would take the time to see me - and initially it was only to be able to prescribe me an antibiotic and some pain meds to help until next week. So I arrived at ACE Dental at 3:00 (2 hours before close) and I was told they probably couldn’t do anything today, but that the dentist would come take a look. After the hygienist got my X-rays/prep done, the dentist came and saw me almost immediately after. She explained concisely and honestly what I needed, and what needed to be done immediately, and exactly how much it would cost (which was significantly better than the other location). MOST IMPORTANTLY, however, she then said we could take care of the extraction right now in order to alleviate the most pressing problem, and that we could take care of the rest soon. I knew this would cause them to stay late on the day right before a holiday, and she said “Of course - Never leave a patient in pain.” After accepting that I was going to have to weather excruciating pain through the holidays and giving up hope in the American healthcare system, Dr. Paul single-handedly (well, with the help of Tiare and Grizel ofc) shifted my entire paradigm and gave me hope again in a world seeming hell-bent on destroying empathy and only prioritizing their bottom line. I will only go to ACE Dental from here on out, for here alone am I confident that I will be receiving affordable, quality care that genuinely prioritizes the patient’s wellbeing. Much love to yall, and thank you for saving my Thanksgiving!!!

Dr. Paul was clear spoken and very informative. She took her time to make sure I understood all of my treatmentand why it was needed. Over all the vibe of the office was warm and inviting. Grizel in the front office was helpful and also very informative.

Experiencia negativa: Will not be taking my children back here. The 1 nurse was being rude to my 6 yr old. And the doctor doesn’t speak good English and was getting mad cause I needed her to repeat things. Over all not a good experience we were there for almost 3 hours just for a regular visit.

I have had bad experiences with other dentist but this was so easy! The doctor was awesome and let me know everything about the procedure and the work I had done I had no pain! I will be going back to take care of other problems I am having. So reassuring to know I now have a dentist I trust! I have no dental insurance so I was concerned about the price but was shocked to see how reasonable it was for all I had done! You want be disappointed if you are looking for a dentist. From walking in the door to leaving the receptionist , hygienist and doctor made everything go so smoothly!! Thank you Ace for a great appointment.. oh by the way I was in pain and they got me in so fast!

Experiencia negativa: I'm sorry to say, but this place was highly disappointing. I went in for a cleaning and all they did was give me a polish. They didn't even clean the plaque off my teeth. And said "dont you need to scrape my teeth?" She said my teeth weren't that bad to have to do that. I'm not even a dentist and I could tell I needed a cleaning! Then they wanted to charge me for fluoride and didn't even mention that my insurance didn't cover it. They are not good at explaining what would be cover and what would not be covered in the insurance. Also, they told me that I would get a free teeth whitening kit over the phone if I made an appointment and when I asked about it they said "oh we must be all out." Very very disappointed. Do not recommend going to this dentist office. I recommend going to Texas heart of smiles. That place is great. Trust me.

Their office manager, Olivia, handled everything with a smile and a kind tone. The environment definitely makes you want to go back!

Experiencia fantástica: I have had multiple visits and different procedures with both Dr. Abusaad and Dr. Singh, and they are both fantastic, as is Olivia and all the rest of the office staff and dental assistants. For some reason they have better rates than many other dental practices who are also in network with my dental insurance. They’re also just all so nice - great chairside manner!

Experiencia negativa: My appointment was at 1:00 for a cleaning. I was 15 minutes early I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes. I was taken back to a room I had xrays done then waited another 45 minutes for a 5 minute assessment to tell me I needed to come back for a deep cleaning. I have periodontal disease which they already know. I don't understand why they didn't have the appointment already set up for that.

I have a very strong jawbone and roots so it took awhile to extract my healthy molar with a bad gum line cavity and was given a small discount for the inconvenience without even mentioning it. I travel the us constantly so ive had multiple experiences with multiple dentists and would chose to fly back here for future needs and appointments instead of risking the awful experiences ive had in the past. 10/10 will return!

It’s hasn’t been a year and my crown that I paid more than $500 for fell off and they refuse to put it back on. The same thing happened to my mom, her crown fell off months after her work was done and they also didn’t not want to fix it.

I spoke to 3 people before being seen and told all of them..."I'm only here to see a DENTIST because mine is out this week. I need a tooth EXTRACTED, we planned to take it out next week but I really need it done now. I'm in severe pain." ...after filling out all of their online forms, then re-signing the same disclosures in office, then answering the SAME QUESTIONS to the nurse, an hour later I left seeing NO dentist and with the same number of teeth. Their practices are shady, they were not up front about what to expect. Even their "debtal plan" was offered to me as a "discount" when it's a yearly commitment....after I told her I HAVE A REGULAR DENTIST THROUGH MY INSURANCE. I wasn't heard...I was there to pay the office fee. What a waste of time and money.

They went above and beyond to help me realize my dental goals and worked me in on the same day to help me get some relief from teeth that were bothering me. Their prices are significantly less than other clinics I have been to for basic services and I noticed more specialized services were quite affordable as well! I didn’t wait long at all to get to the back and every single member of the staff was so kind, patient, and understanding. They made sure all my questions were answered and ensured I understood after care. Overall I can’t thank this team enough for such a wonderful experience!! Ms. Natalie explained everything that was happening as it was happening, and as soon as the other staff realized I had an auditory issue, they turned off the television to make me more comfortable. They welcomed any questions and answered them in a simple and straightforward manner. This is so much better than my last dentist, and I will absolutely be back.

Experiencia negativa: I gave 2 stars (for the appointment making...dr. was fine) because I received a phone call saying that the kids could come in early. I specifically told her that I wouldn't be paid for a few days. She said she "looked and that they both were due their 6 month cleanings" so it won't cost me anything. Turns out, my son's was covered, but my daughter's wasn't because she WAS NOT due for a check up for another 2 weeks. Now I owe $75 for something that I thought was covered. They didn't tell me until the END of the appt that hers was not covered.

They gave me a six month card and then she said we have to have a 6 month teeth cleaning set up. I am not going to two separate appointments for cleaning and check up. And why do I need a 6 month check up when you haven’t even done the work yet? Do the work then I will come back in 6 months.

Experiencia negativa: I saw the wonderful reviews of Ace Dental of Waco on Wooded Acres and decided to give them a try. I needed to get a filling replaced and entrusted my dental care to this facility. My appointment was for a same day at 12:15pm. I called my insurance rep to make sure this place was in network and I was assured it was. When I spoke with the appointment representative, I was told I would see a Dr. Singh. I arrived on time and proceeded to fill out the mandatory paperwork. I was taken back to get a full mouth xray and I believe a panoramic xray as well. I was told by the front desk patient care rep that my xrays would be covered. So, after that, I look at the clock and it's approaching 1pm. Okayyy..Im thinking to myself, this is taking some time and I'm beginning to get upset. Dr. Singh finally comes in and he examined my teeth and spoke to me about some options regarding the health of my teeth. After that, he left and again I look at my watch and it's now around 120pm. And still no start to the procedure. A minute or two later, I'm handed a survey form about their performance. Honestly, I wanted to give them a D. I'm sitting there waiting for the dentist to come back and get started but he didn't because he was working on another patient. At this point, I see that it's now 1:40pm and no one came in to let me know that my tooth filling would be started. I got up and walked to the front desk and asked the ladies how much do I owe for the x-rays? I was told that they were covered and I only needed to pay for a reschedule fee of $25. This dental office had me sit there for over an hour and a half, and all that was done were the x-rays. My tooth is hurting and I chose to leave because I had another appointment at 230pm. Now, this place is going to apply a claim to my dental insurance for the x-rays that were taken but I didn't get the service I was scheduled an appointment for. I'm very, very disappointed in the Ace Dental of Wooded Acres.

Experiencia negativa: I came for a dental check up in October 2022 and was told I had 7 cavities after having seen a different dentist 6 months prior with no cavities and no watch spots. I usually like to take care of any teeth issues right away out of fear of them worsening so I decided to have all 7 cavities filled at the same time, following the initial cleaning. The dentist did the fillings and immediately after I was having some tooth discomfort and bite alignment issues. I came back in a day or so after and the dental staff adjusted my bite. I left still feeling something wrong and came back for 3 more visits to adjust my bite. From there, things went south. I was having excruciating pain with eating anything cold/hot/hard and I expressed this multiple times to the dentist who did the fillings with no other remedy except to continue drilling and smooth out rough spots. After months of pain and being unable to eat effectively, I saw another dentist in the area who told me where my fillings were had dentin exposed and that in order for me to have relief, he would need to redo the fillings! I was shocked because the Ace dentist did not say anything about the layer of dentin being exposed and was recommending to keep filing my teeth down!!!! I proceeded having the fillings redone (at a highly reduced cost since the dentist was sympathetic to the trauma I had gone through and my upcoming wedding) and my teeth have done a total 180. Idk what kind of dentists work at Ace dental but I would never go there again for anything related to teeth…

Experiencia positiva: Had to wait 2 days for an opening Despite appointment had to wait 2 hours. It is an urgent call service tho. Once started the process was not rushed and professional. I'll have to go back to have a crown fitted in 3 weeks. Part of cost covered by dental insurance and seems reasonable. I think I could have gotten in sooner if I drove to another of their locations. Travelling dentists. All in all a recommendation if you need an urgent appt. Hard to choose between 3 and 4 stars overall.

Experiencia negativa: The dentist I saw was incompetent to say the least. After the 7 days of antibiotics, my tooth was still abcessed. He refused to give me a different antibiotic. You can't work on an abcessed tooth. So I have to go to urgent care now. Beware of this place. He also wanted to pull teeth that didn't need to be pulled!

Experiencia fantástica: I love the whole staff at Ace Dental my experience so far is excellent!.. The appointment I had on the 29th was the fitting of my partial I was in and out the next appointment is the permanent teeth. Thank you Ace Dental for all you do for me as a patient.

Experiencia negativa: Staff didn't seem very passionate about doing their job. Nobody smiled, or even made small talk. When I checked out everyone at the desk got quiet and hovered over the computer screen as I checked out like as if they were speaking about me. Also staff needs to look more presentable and not like they " rolled out of bed" with messy hair. I didn't feel safe or comfortable with further treatment.
