Dr. Trivedi listened to my concerns about past difficulty getting numb. He gave me enough medication and the procedure was completely painless. Kat was delightful and the assistants were very attentive.

I left the office with a brand new crown at 5:30. Very professional people, all done in house. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend all local people shoud go there. Thank you Cannon dentistry for your excellent service. They even spread out a payment plan for me. Up date for 7/26/2026. My home town dentist using A.I detected probable decay, @ munber 30, Family dental warrantyed i bran new Crown, i was in & out in an hour & 1/2. Couldn't be happier. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: The service is good but the billing is not. Apparently I had a $2.00 balance since the insurance didn’t cover everything. Which I wasn’t aware of. After 90 days I received a notice of billing of $53.00. Tried asking how the billing works and was told they were sent out monthly. June is the first letter I received. No emails I can find. Make sure to call after the appointment to verify you don’t owe anything.

The staff is incredibly friendly and makes me feel like I’ve been a lifelong patient, even after only two visits. They never tried to sell me anything and truly took an interest in my goals. They even helped give me advice on our family Disney trip that made our vacation wayyyy easier! I can’t say enough. You’ll never regret coming here. The entire staff does an incredible job and is super friendly and kind. Thank you a million times over!

My Wife and I are astonished at the level of kindness and professionalism here at Canyon Family Dental. I came in on an emergency in excruciating pain and they stayed nearly two hours after closing to make sure that I left in the best condition possible. They are very respectful, provided all the information needed to make educated decisions, and we strongly recommend coming here for dental care. Dr. Trivedi and his team are GREAT! We will most definitely be back. If it weren't for the dental procedure, this would have felt like hanging out with good friends for dinner and board games. Incredible people here :)

Very personable and efficient. Kay was also great and very nice. So far these guys and gals are great and I have not even met the doctor yet. I’m leaving this review from the chair. It doesn’t hurt that both the young ladies are as cute as can be.

Experiencia fantástica: What a delightful experience all around! Dr. Trivedi has been the first dentist I’ve ever been to that actually spoke to me as a person first, not just another patient. He was very kind and understanding and explained everything throughly. Admittedly I’ve been dragging my feet to visit the dentist because I get so anxious!! But this office provided exceptional care, in a way that most offices don’t. Front desk receptionist, Raquel took care of my insurance Information which was a massive lift off my shoulders and billing was swift and easy. Lexie, the dental assistant really helped me get my mind off of being at the dentist and chatting with her felt like chatting to a friend. Last but not least, Mindy did a great job with my cleaning i barely felt anything. The whole office has a welcoming atmosphere. I’m really glad I found this place.

Experiencia fantástica: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been to Dr. Trivedi’s office twice now for cavity fillings, and both visits were smooth and surprisingly comfortable. Raquelle at the front desk did a great job breaking down the treatment plan, explaining what would happen and when. She was also super helpful in coordinating appointments with my schedule and sending timely reminders. During the procedures, I had Lexi assist the first time and Ryleigh the second. Lexi was great at keeping me comfortable and did a solid job managing the suction so I wasn’t left with water pooling in my mouth. Ryleigh was very observant—she helped guide me during the bite check and made sure everything felt just right. But the biggest shoutout goes to Dr. Pulin Trivedi, DMD. He was kind, patient, and took the time to explain the whole process, which really helped calm my nerves. Best of all, I didn’t feel any pain during either visit. He genuinely helped alleviate my fear of going to the dentist. Highly recommend this team—they made the whole experience way better than I expected.

Experiencia negativa: Going to this dentist office was my first time ever getting a filling with oral anesthetic. The doctor did not ask me if I had any experience getting a filling, and rapidly moved into the procedure without checking in on how I was doing. Fast forward months, the same tooth that he put a filling in to AVOID sensitivity started to DEVELOP sensitivity for the first time. Upon returning, he tried to “fix” it, to no avail. Needless to say, I’m tired of providers doing “proactive procedures” simply to bill the patient and meet a quota. I will def not be returning. The dental hygienist was thorough and kind, however. Silver lining to anything.

Experiencia negativa: The place literally went to hell when Dr. Callahan retired! Dentists don’t stay, I think there have been 4-5 in just the past several years and the new receptionist is extremely rude. They were terrible with billing and made everything difficult. They would ask you to pay large sums upfront and then when your insurance paid, they refused to refund what you had overpaid, applying it to a “prior balance” that they were never able to document actually existed. Once, they tried to charge our HSA card without our permission for a balance we didn’t even owe. Thankful to have found an amazing dentist elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in with multiple chips in past fillings, a cracked tooth, and a much needed root canal. I never felt once like I should go anywhere else. The whole office made me feel comfortable and relaxed through the multiple appointments. I could never recommend the team enough, I am so grateful I found this office of amazing humans.

Experiencia negativa: Ever since merging with their new partner, I have had problems with billing almost EVERY single time I had something done at this location. The dentists are great and I don't mind paying for the work of course. However, when my charges are billed wrong every time and I have to play phone tag with the front office staff to get items fixed, it becomes too much. Was recently sent to collections by this company without prior notification of an overdue bill. We moved and mail was not getting forwarded, and now we are thousands in debt in collections. Of course, now that its in collections, they cannot help me or my husband with the bill anymore. Such a shame I won't be back as Dr. Callahan is my favorite dentist!

Experiencia negativa: Trivedi crowned my daughter's tooth but the crown did not fit properly causing her so much pain. She could not eat for 3 weeks. Finally she went to another dentist who said she needed a root canal and new crown due to dental trauma ( pulpitis ) from Trivedi taking the tooth too close to the nerve and sealing an ill fitting crown over it. She did not want Trivedi to crown this tooth but he pressured her only to become a complete nightmare for her. She wanted to wait for a second opinion but Trevedi kept saying "why don't you want to do it?", "why don't you want it?" Office manager is straight up rude and apathetic. We had Dr Callahan for decades. We always knew he did his best for his patients and looked out for us. Never once had any problems. Sad this has happened to this office. There are other great dentist in the area I would avoid Trivedi.

Experiencia negativa: I should have listened to the reviews. This was the strangest dentist office experience I’ve ever had. I was at my appointment for an hour, and during that time x-rays were taken, and the dentist came in and consulted with me. The last time I had been to the dentist was a little over a year. I do want to say that the dentist was very nice. She mentioned that she wanted to do a specific type of cleaning for me. Then she left for a while and I just sat there. Finally the assistant came back to take off my bib. I was surprised and asked her -we weren’t going to do the cleaning now? and she said no, that would be a separate appointment. At the checkout desk I was told that not only would the cleaning be a separate appointment that I would need to come back for, but it would be over $200 out of pocket. I told her that I had never had an experience going to a dentist where my dental insurance covered a basic check up and cleaning with this situation. She was very argumentative and rude and couldn’t understand what the problem was. She offered to let me stay to see if the next appointment didn’t show up and they could maybe do the cleaning that day, but I had already been there for an hour and needed to get back to work and I also was not expecting $200 out of pocket. Ultimately, it was such a strange experience and such a weird vibe in that office. The dentist is extremely kind and she is young and sweet, but I will never go back to this office. It felt like they were trying to get the maximum amount of money from me. I have had other dentists off and on tell me that I have slight inflammation in my gums (what this dentist said, but that it looked good overall), but they have NEVER tried to not include the cleaning as part of my checkup, asked me to come back later and charged me over $200 extra for a cleaning! Edit/update: the office actually tried to bill my insurance for this (after only doing X-rays), which insurance declined because I didn’t receive a full check up. Then they sent me multiple bills. What a mess. There are a lot of dental offices in Utah, save yourself the trouble.

And after my appointment today, we will be finding a new dentist. The guy I saw today was rude and my cleaning hurt!! This was the worst experience ever. I will not let my kids experience this.

Experiencia negativa: **Scammers** Beware of this dental clinic! They have a deceptive practice of charging you twice: your insurance pays them, and then they ask you to pay again. When you realize you've been double charged and try to get answers, they completely ignore your emails, texts, and calls, leaving you in limbo. I started going to this clinic back in 2019 or 2020 when it was under Canyon Family ownership, and it was decent then. However, since the ownership changed, I've discovered I've paid an extra $1,500 from 2023 to 2024, yet they claim I have no credit. When I tried to address this, they wouldn’t let me into the office and ignored my requests to schedule a meeting to sort out this financial mess. If you’re okay with being charged twice, feel free to keep coming here. Today, I went in to confront them, and Dr. Powell was incredibly rude to both me and my wife. After waiting over 30 minutes to speak with him, I stepped outside briefly to check on my pregnant wife in the car. I told the receptionist I’d be back in two minutes, but when I returned, the doors were locked, and I was told the doctor was unavailable. I saw him walking inside, and the finance staff was downright disrespectful. All I wanted was to show them my payment receipts from insurance and ask where my $1,500 went. I’ve been asking about this since 2023, and now they claim they’ve been charging me finance fees every month without informing me. How is that even legal? Every time I followed up, Laureen at the front desk promised to check and get back to me, but she never did. Now they’ve added finance charges and taken my $1,500. What do you call this? I urge anyone considering this clinic to carefully check your insurance payments and co-pays. Only pay what you owe, and demand a refund if you find you’ve been charged twice. You might just find yourself shown the door!

Experiencia negativa: This was the worst experience of my life. To start, they did a sloppy cleaning on my tooth and told me I had gingivitis. Gingivitis is a bacterial inflammation that causes pain and other issues… No, I do not have gingivitis. They pushed me to buy a water flossing device with products that cost $174. They tried to do the same with my husband, and after reading their reviews here, I realized that it’s a common practice of theirs to squeeze money out of people. I returned the product, and the receptionist said I would receive a refund in one week. After a week, I called, and she said it could take up to a month. After a month, she told me that they would apply it as a credit for future appointments, even though I did not agree to that. Plus, she was extremely rude and arrogant in her dealings with us after I returned the product. Now to the second part: they divided my treatment into 4 sessions. When I went in, they practically drilled my teeth and removed the pulp. I had visited a dentist six months prior to this treatment, and everything was fine. Since then, I have been in a lot of pain. It’s awful—I can no longer eat anything cold, very hot, or even bite into hard foods. The same thing happened to my husband. We decided not to return and just leave the remaining appointments behind. I hope they make good use of those $174. And I strongly advise anyone not to go to this dentist—the worst I have ever seen in Utah. And if the receptionist responds saying I never went to this dentist, like she did with other people, I will take photos of my bank statements and their paperwork to prove that I did. Thank you

Experiencia negativa: 10/10 do NOT recommend. The doctor was different again, the hygienist was different again and so was everyone else there. The hygienist didn’t seem to care and there was NO doctor to do my exam which I wasn’t told! They said I’d have to come back another day to see the doctor. I’ve never had an experience like this and who has time to come back for a separate visit just for an exam. I would not recommend unless you like having your time wasted. Go somewhere that has consistency and communication with their patients.

Experiencia negativa: They will double charge, by charging you and your insurance. When you catch them in this they will spend two months waiting for you to forget. Then when you catch them on it they will give you a partial refund of what they owe you. When you catch that! They will then say it was a past charge. When you call them on that lie, they then say it's a deductible. I've been going to canyon's family dental since I was three, I am shocked of what's happened to it and have left it forever. Not to mention the last time I went my front teeth have been hurting ever since, and it's difficult to eat now!

Experiencia positiva: dentist and other employees were very nice, laid out the costs of everything so i didn’t feel like i was getting played. will be returning -- this is actually a lie, i felt forced to make purchases that were expensive and it felt like dentists and other workers didn't really know what they were doing. some people were very nice but it didn't help my overall experience very much.

I have lots of trauma surrounding dentist offices and everyone here really listened to my worries and made sure that I felt nothing at all. Dr. Emily was so amazing with getting me a filling. Vanja the hygienist did a phenomenal job and made me feel like I was at home. Lauren is literally the best ever and made my experience there so welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough. Everyone there deserves a big raise.

Experiencia fantástica: I have receding gums with very sensitive exposed roots. They cause me a lot of anxiety at dentist appointments. These guys have been so sweet working with me. Gas to help me relax, numbing my mouth so I can't feel the extreme pain, and being very understanding and willing to talk me through everything. The lady who did my teeth today was amazing. Her name started with a 'V'... but I was still breathing the gas when she told me her name, and now I can't remember it
