I've been seeing him for about 4 years now. Even with my recent relocation to Pasadena, I still see him when I go to Simi Valley. He is VERY knowledgeable, stays up to date on all new procedures and techniques, and he has state-of-the-art equipment. You'll actually look forward to going to the dentist - no joke!

Experiencia negativa: I have been a patient of Aesthetic Dental for several years and have consistently received exceptional care from my hygienist, Sephora, and my primary dentist, Dr. Tamaddom. Because of that history, my visit on January 20th was both surprising and deeply disappointing. I came in to address discomfort in the upper left region of my teeth. As always, the front office staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, my experience changed once I was seen by Dr. Solaimani. His demeanor was cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily curt. Entirely out of character with the level of care I have come to expect from this practice. I requested X-rays to better understand the cause of my discomfort. Dr. Solaimani initially attempted to discourage this, stating that the X-rays would be expensive. He then immediately reversed course, saying it was “not about the money” but about patient care. Despite this, he continued to suggest that X-rays were unnecessary and later stated that my insurance would not cover them. I made it clear that I was comfortable paying out of pocket, at which point he agreed that the X-rays could be done. I also requested that a desensitizer be applied to my teeth, explaining that it has helped me in the past. Dr. Solaimani repeatedly tried to dissuade me, stating that it would not be effective, despite my prior experience and my clear request that it still be applied. He continued at length about why it would not work and insisted that my “best option” was a composite procedure. Without meaningful discussion or shared decision-making, Dr. Solaimani stated to his assistant that we would be proceeding with a composite. When I politely declined, he instructed his assistant to document that I had “refused” treatment. I found this language inappropriate and misleading. I did not refuse care; I respectfully declined a specific proposed procedure. After he left the room, I clarified this distinction with his assistant and expressed discomfort with how my decision was being framed in my medical chart. After Dr. Solaimani exited, his dental assistant proceeded with the additional work I had requested, including applying the desensitizer and cleaning my teeth. X-rays were also taken. However, I was then nearly allowed to leave the office without the dentist returning to review the X-rays with me. I had to specifically request that Dr. Solaimani come back into the room to go over them. This is concerning, as reviewing X-rays with a patient is a fundamental part of dental care, and a patient should not be permitted to leave a practice without that discussion. The interaction was further compounded when, after I asked questions about my treatment options, Dr. Solaimani remarked that this is what happens when a patient has “a little bit of information” and implied that I should simply listen to the doctor. I found this dismissive and disrespectful. As a patient, I expect to be an active participant in decisions about my own healthcare. Effective care should be collaborative, not condescending. Language matters, especially in medical records. Documenting that a patient “refused treatment” when they have simply declined a specific procedure can be damaging. Such phrasing can inaccurately portray a patient as difficult or noncompliant and may follow them in future dental or medical care. Depending on a patient’s ethnicity, race, or background, language like this can also carry serious implications and may be perceived as biased or discriminatory. I was genuinely taken aback by this experience because it does not reflect the professionalism and quality of care I have otherwise received at Aesthetic Dental. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used constructively so that the high standards this practice is known for are upheld consistently across all providers and patient interactions.

Experiencia negativa: When I found this Dr. I was very excited....That was short lived. I believed he was actually listening to what I was saying. I am an extreme grinder and bruxer. I paid $450.00 for a night guard. They did not have me try it on for them. When I put it in that evening the material seemed a little to flimsy. I bit through it within 10 days. I called the office I sent in pictures of the damage I heard nothing. I went in and spoke to the dentist the reply. I can not do anything we use an outside lab. I believe he should have done something. I usually purchase 2ea night guards a year. They are made of quality and still last only 6 months each. 10 days $450.00 10 days $450.00

As I’m sure every one feels when going to the dentist, I was very nervous, but right away I was welcomed with warm greeting from the front desk. I felt like I was seeing long time friends with how genuinely welcoming they are. During my first appointment, I had x rays done by Jeanette and she was great. She was so patient and answered all of my questions. She was super gentle and I felt no discomfort. Dr Solemani was gentle and patient and took his time to make sure any questions I had were answered. I came back two days later for my cleaning with Brian, and let me tell you, I walked away with a GREAT experience. Right from the start he took his time to make sure I was comfortable. I did not experience any pain or discomfort during my cleaning. He gave me great tips for home care and was very clear in his explanations of what he was going to do next. We had a great conversation(even with my mouth open lol). I am so appreciative of his time, care, and patience. I highly recommend Aesthetic Dental, especially with how wonderful their staff is. 2026 Update: honestly still amazing. Sephora always does a great job, staff is always so friendly.

At the time of check-in, I told her about the stains in my teeth and she painstakingly and patiently worked tooth-by-tooth both inside and outside of each teeth to remove the stains. I saw a huge difference in terms of how my teeth turned out to be after Sephora worked on it. I have been with Sephora before and I always had a good experience with her. She also asked about my daughter's upcoming appointment and I am looking forward to take her during the summer break. I strongly recommend her for all kind of patients who are looking for a good teeth cleaning experience.
