Experiencia negativa: I rarely leave reviews, but this clinic completely wasted my time and treated me with a level of disrespect that no patient should ever experience. This was not my first visit. The clinic was already aware that I did not want a bone graft. During a previous appointment, I explained my position clearly, and I was told to come back for another appointment. Before scheduling that appointment, I called again and specifically asked whether this would be an issue. I was told, “No problem, come in.” So I took time out of my day, drove to the clinic, and showed up for the appointment, only to be told the exact same thing again. Why schedule me in the first place if nothing was going to change? What made the situation even worse was Dr. Anas’s attitude. When I tried to ask a simple question and understand why he insisted on a bone graft that I had already said I did not want, he refused to explain and repeatedly said he was too busy. At one point, he told the trainee to deal with me because he “didn’t have time.” If you’re too busy to speak with a patient for two minutes, then why give that patient an appointment? I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted an explanation and to be treated with basic respect. No doctor can force a patient to agree to a procedure they do not want. If the clinic had no intention of proceeding without a bone graft, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of making me come back and waste my time. Dr. Anas was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. The communication was terrible, the attitude was unacceptable, and the entire experience left a very negative impression. I will never return to this clinic and would not recommend it to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointing experience. Although this clinic accepts my insurance, I was told I had to pay additional fees on top of my insurance coverage for a tooth extraction. The explanation I was given for these extra charges did not seem reasonable or justified. I felt that I was being asked to pay more than necessary despite having insurance coverage. I expected a fairer and more patient-focused approach.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away from this dental office. This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. The office failed to be upfront about costs, and every conversation felt like it was leading to another charge. Instead of focusing on patient care, the entire experience felt focused on getting as much money as possible. I walked in expecting professional service and honest communication. I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and completely unable to trust what I was being told. If you choose this office, demand every fee in writing before agreeing to anything because you may not get the full picture otherwise. There are too many dental offices out there to deal with this kind of experience. I will never return and would strongly encourage others to look elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: I got my braces done here and got them off in just a year as promised. The dentists here are all really nice and gentle with your teeth. They're also great with kids. Everything gets done pretty quickly as well, they're not slow but they also don't rush.

Experiencia negativa: So the first time I came with my daughter she was to get some cavity’s filled all because she reacted to the air being blown on her tooth that has the cavity they said it’s to sensitive to fill offers a root canal I tell them I don’t have that money and if they could just fill it or pull it the first dentist said he can’t it’s not possible to fill and he can’t pull it not due to any medical reasons just because he wouldn’t feel right pulling her tooth didn’t even do the other fillings so made an appointment for another day with another dentist to pull her tooth well this dentist said he can do a p cap or something like that which of course if I can save her tooth I will this dr was way better then the last one with different options but I’d have to pay out of pocket for it Kuz her insurance don’t cover it so I paid due to it being way less for this procedure then the root canal so I paid just to find out it is coverd by her insurance they just don’t accept payments from the insurance for that specific procedure I’ve never heard of that before it’s either it’s cover by insurance or not idk this whole situation I have never ever been threw something like this before I’m just going to stick to city drs I’ve never had issues like this before il travel the 45 mins back to the city if it’s like this out this way

Always keeping me up to what step she's doing next and why. Very caring and always making sure I am not under any pain or stress throughout everything. Experiencia negativa: I got a impacted wisdom tooth removed here and If u don't wanna have months of pain a bone graft u didint need in the first place and on top of that I told them I was allergic to codine pior to the appointment and they still prescribed it to me anyway they do not put you to sleep here I kept telling him I felt pain and he kept saying it's just pressure like no it hurts my bf chould hear me screaming from the waiting room after that i had to come back three times he told me it was infected when it wasn't infected and I had to go to a different dentist at a different office and pay tons of money for him to open it back up and fix it for me

Experiencia fantástica: The dentists and staff booked my appointment immediately understanding the situation. I had an infected emergency extraction that went as smooth as possible. The tooth was removed without any pain during the procedure. They made sure my entire affected area was numb before extracting the tooth. Highly recommended for anyone that needs immediate care. Both dentists on staff were helpful and responsive.

The orthodontist kept me waiting for hours and when he finally came he was extremely unknowledgeable on teeth (which is all he’s there to check) When he would explain what he thought was the issue it came off as confusing and incompetent. Definitely take your business elsewhere the doctor was not a kind person!

Experiencia fantástica: Second review: Second round review. I just today had a root canal done by Dr. Syed. He convinced me because the root was so deep... which he called "Beautiful". Only a mad scientist / clinician / obsessed architect of the tooth would consider molar roots as beautiful. I am so glad he convinced me! He and his very kind dental assistant worked me through the process. First let me say, It was absolutely painless. Even the numbing shots were almost not noticeable. The first one was done and I thought he just started and stopped to reposition it or something but nope it was done as fast as it started. The inside was was less than a bee sting but faster. And after that I felt absolutely nothing. So I am used to Dr. Syed's perfectionist ways, but he was in rare form today. He took multiple x-rays just to determine a millimeter of space between the whatever and the whatchamacallit. My point is that this is perfection. It is actually art. Now here is the kicker. You get a root canal and you get a post. Right then you need a crown. But these guys make me an artificial tooth. They built up .material around the post. And apparently had like a tooth mold or something. And just built it up and using a blue "cure" light to harden it. I totally have a functional tooth on there until I can get a formal crown placed. Bonus! And here is the greatest thing... I left his office and went straight to work. I worked all day and just finished at 11:53 and ate dinner pain free and just realized that it was a normal chewing experience on what was a few hours ago a painful broken tooth! I just had my first implant with Dr. Saad. Wow it was not as bad as I thought! I felt almost no pain during the proceedure, and it was less discomfort than getting a tooth pulled and less than a root canal. It took an hour and Dr. Saad was a perfectionist that was measuring things in single millimeters. His staff and the other Dr were just kind and reassuring. The place is high tech and absolutely spotless. I have been there before, having an old cracked tooth removed. Doc said it was possible to root canal the tooth which I had done before and I am so glad I chose the implant instead. A little more money but root canals are only good for 15 years if you are lucky. This implant will be trouble free my whole life. Plus my regular old PPO insurance paid for most of it and their Care credit is 6 months free financing. If you are waiting because of worries - Don't. Just get there and get it done. Dr. Saad will manage your pain and make the process easy.

Experiencia negativa: Awful. Dirty. Only makes Ortho appointments once a month on One day per week, Fridays. Prepare to wait 30 minutes to an Hour for an appointment, but if you're more than 10 minutes late they won't see you. Absolutely Awful business practice. They will surprise you with a bill when they could have mentioned it when confirming the appointment. I was warned by Orland Park residents not to come here, but I didn't listen because the location was close. Just look at the parking lot to see the quality of care you will residence.

Experiencia negativa: My experience with Universal Dental of Orland Park has been nothing short of a nightmare. They billed me $300 for a night guard I NEVER received and even threatened to send me to collections over it. On top of that, they billed my insurance for imaging that I never had done! This is completely unacceptable and borderline fraudulent behavior. Since August, I was calling their office to resolve these issues, and every single time, I was told someone will call me back—but no ever did. It’s clear that they have no interest in taking responsibility for their mistakes or treating their patients with basic respect. The BBB (Better Business Bureau) should seriously look into this place. Their billing practices are shady at best, and they operate with an astonishing lack of professionalism. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable dental office—because this one is anything but!

Experiencia negativa: Customer service was good BUT my what they called Deep Cleaning was NOT! I'm 62 with good teeth and have had multiple cleanings. No scraping of build up per tooth & I couldn't believe that the dentist did not floss my teeth doing the cleaning! The complete cleaning took less than 10 mins. I will not be returning!

One more important thing the first doctor saw me he told me that i have cavities in 2 of my tooth and he said its urgent to do one and the other one we have to watch for some time!!! But when I visited them in that bad day where I waited for more than an hour to see the doctor, another doctor saw me and told me after he checked the x-ray that i have no cavities and my tooth are in good condition. The onwner of the clinic has a very bad attitude and he become nervous if you tell him that I have been waiting for long time.... This clinic is not trusty and not recommended at all, Ill never be back.

Experiencia fantástica: Took my adult special needs son in for an initial visit today. Although the dentist determined that my son's needs would be better served elsewhere, I can't say enough good things about how well my son was treated. Both the dentist and the tech were so very kind to him and that means the world to a mom, and to him!

Experiencia negativa: My appointment was originally scheduled for 3/12/24 at 10 a.m. the dentist office receptionist called me the day before to ask if I could come later in the day at 3 p.m. instead because the Doctor is overbooked and it will be a long wait. I stated fine I will come at 3 p.m. So I get to my appointment on time I checked in and was waiting for about 5 minutes when Dr. Saed came upfront and explained to the ladies upfront he is behind and he will not be able to see me plus she was late. I literally was in disbelief. The four young ladies upfront apologized and stated if I could reschedule. I was furious at this point because the lack of communication from the scheduling and the Doctor is unprofessional. I stated I wasn't late for my appointment one of the young ladies called me yesterday afternoon to see if I could come in later because the Doctor is over booked. One of the young ladies looked confused with that being said there is lack of communication and overbooking of patients and a inconvenience to patients that have been coming to this facility for years. At this point I will never go back to this location again I literally waited weeks to get my dental work done. Now I have to wait another 6 weeks..... UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Experiencia negativa: Awful! They fitted my son for a retainer without asking if i wanted to pay upcharge for clear retainer. Now he has to be molded again and wait another 2 weeks for retainer to come in. Awful
