Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Distinctive Smile Design by another Dental office. My teeth were so bad she said her office did not have the expertise to fix them properly. After three consultations with Doctor Chris, we have developed a comprehensive plan of action to get my teeth back to a healthy state. He thoroughly explained the process so I understood where we are at and where we are heading. Yesterday we started the journey. I had four teeth prepped for crowns. There was no pain and he takes before and after pictures to show the decay being removed and the new filler added to accept the crown. I am very impressed with the technology. The camera allows him to show you the issues in each individual tooth. They have a scanner that can create a 3D image of your teeth and gums. Crazy. Doctor Chris and his assistant Ashley are amazing. It's going to be a long journey. I definitely picked the right team.

I was referred to Dr. Christopher Coffey by Dr. Gruba at Sauk Trail Dental Care for a tooth that required more specialized attention. Without disclosing any personal medical or dental information in this review, I commend the dentist for providing a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the issue. His meticulous approach, including the use of a dental mannequin to illustrate the problem and demonstrate the proposed solution, was highly appreciated. Unfortunately, I found Dr. Coffey’s response concerning, particularly his use of the phrase “in a perfect world” to justify the dental work required. This statement undermined my trust in his expertise, as I do not reside in an ideal environment and alternative treatments are acceptable. It is not necessary to adhere to a single treatment solely based on personal preferences or the belief in a perfect outcome. I share this information because it makes me question his professional decisions regarding alternative treatments, which are outside of his “living in a perfect world” approach. This approach eliminates the possibility that other treatments could achieve the same desirable outcomes. However, since such an approach is considered unconventional and potentially controversial, it is advisable to refrain from discussing, suggesting, or even considering it due to other factors being outside of the “perfect world” phase. While Dr. Coffey’s concern for my health may be commendable, it does not instill confidence in me. Rather, it serves as additional motivation to seek financial gain and opt for more expensive and expedited treatments that align with his vision of a “perfect world.”

I had major dental work performed by Dr. Coffey several years ago, and the results are amazing; no complaints whatsoever. At the appointment, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. I’ve also stopped grinding my teeth when sleeping with Doc’s help. First we started w night mouth guards x2 and finally decided Invisalign was the best solution. My dental hygienist, Kathy, is the best. I’ve been seeing her as long as I’ve been seeing Dr. Coffey. I recommend Dr. Coffey and his team to all my friends. I finally agreed and it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever done! It was really easy to get used to wearing And protects my teeth from grinding while sleeping. It was clear that their priority was my well-being and dental health, not just the the most revenue generating solution as is the standard practice of many other dental offices. The team meticulously explained each procedure, focusing on the best methods to address my dental needs. Their dedication to finding the right solution rather than the most profitable one was both refreshing and reassuring. I am currently using their office for Invisalign treatment. When speaking to others that have used other doctors for this I realize the compartive advantage Dr. Coffey provides is a genuine concern for your outcome. It is clear that he is focused on the success of your treatments and that you understand your options and how they can affect the future possible issues you may have with your dental health. After a lifetime of spending vast amounts of money on cavities, root canals and other issues. I realize there is a very important human component to choosing your Dentist. This office is an exceptional example of what visiting a Dentist should be.

Experiencia fantástica: After years of negative experiences at other dentist offices, I have finally found a team that truly cares. The staff is very welcoming and understanding. Front desk staff is amazing. Never had issues with scheduling/rescheduling. They keep in touch with me if there will be any changes in my appointment. Also are transparent with pricing which is a plus. I finally get to look forward to going to the dentist instead of dreading it! Highly recommend!

What’s even more incredible is that the doctors are perfectionist and want the best results for their patient’s smile!!! I truly have had the best experience here at this office, and I can’t wait to see the final results of my smile! These people have become my family and truly care about me! Experiencia fantástica: Dr Chris Coffey did my assessment. I am amazed by his knowledge and planning process. It makes so much sense to me after he explained using pictures and simple explanations. He took time with me and was so kind. He didn’t rush and answered all my questions. . I researched a lot and found all the reviews very good. I started out so nervous because it involves my front teeth. Now that I met Dr Coffey I feel comfortable and confident I have a great doctor formulating a phased approach. Everyone in the office and assisting were so nice. Friendly and kind. I feel lucky to have found this practice.
