Experiencia negativa: Didn't get a teeth cleaning during my first visit, just given x-rays and offered to buy an expensive toothbrush and basically told to come back when I could afford it. Then I tried again to make this place work for me after the "Free teeth whitening and Intelisonic power toothbrush" when you schedule a cleaning, so I made an appointment online. Did not get a confirmation email and nobody answered the phone when I tried to confirm a couple of days prior. Went to my scheduled appointment and they were closed even though it was during business hours.

I had an appointment today at 8:00 a.m. got there and the girl in the front told her that I have an appointment today and the system won’t find me that I don’t have any appointment at this location.I show her email and text message confirming that appointment at this location.

Ended canceling appointment due to not having detail information and insurance follow up from the Deltona Office. Will definitely be changing practices due to several issues with this office

Experiencia negativa: Horrible service I had an abscess and pain and two appointments were canceled and rescheduled no one helped me in any of the offices I ended up going to my Doctor who immediately gave me a shot of antibiotic and steroids and a prescription for amoxicillin unbelievable no compassion at all.

Experiencia fantástica: Taimi got me ready (removed the temporary crowns and cleaned the area) and Dr Chumpitas delivered the new crowns quickly and with minimal discomfort. Krystal called my insurance company to confirm my benefits and charged me accordingly. She also contacted corporate again in an attempt to correct the prior balance--that continues to be a work in progress but she is persistent!! She also said that she would apply the April $20 discount for an oral cancer screening, in August at my next cleaning as per Dr Chumpitas's recommendation. I highly recommend this office!!

Experiencia negativa: Since August 2025, I’ve been trying to get a refund for being overcharged for a procedure I never received. Luckily, I caught it on the receipt before leaving. You would think it would be as simple as issuing a partial refund back to your credit card or re-running the transaction with the correct amount. Instead, I’ve been through endless hoops just trying to get my money back or apply it as a credit. You call the front desk, and they tell you they’ll submit a request for a refund. In October 2025, I followed up and was told it was still being processed through their separate billing company. I followed up again in December 2025, and still nothing. By February 2026, I decided to just use it as a credit toward one of my annual cleanings. Then, the day before my appointment, I was told that without X-rays less than a year old, they couldn’t proceed with the cleaning. So now, there’s no cleaning appointment and still no refund. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY/OFFICE. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Experiencia negativa: I made an appointment 3 weeks ago due to tooth pain. It was hard enough waiting so long due to being pregnant and I can’t take any meds. I got to my appointment and they decided to tell me when I got there that the dr wouldn’t be in today. Not one person called me. I did get confirmation emails and text to confirm my appointment. They go to reschedule me and tell me the dr doesn’t even come in until 9am. So why did you originally make my apt for 8am if the dr doesn’t even get in until 9? I had this apt for 3 weeks. Very unprofessional and I’ve never had an experience like this before and after seeing some other bad experiences from other people in reviews I will be finding a new dentist.

They were super busy but they still took the time to take care of me. The dentist, Dr Chumpitsz, was very professional and empathetic. I will definitely go back to them for my future dental care.” Today, 2/11/26 I Fred, had 3 extractions plus a lot of composit fillings on my top teeth. I had a great time and had no pain. Dr. Francisco Churpitaz was very fast and professional. Everyone there from receptionist, to clerk, perio technician, dentist assistant and the doctor get a 10 out of 10 rating. Plus I compared prices with my previous dental facility “Sage Dental” and my out of pocket expense is half! We will continue going back for all our dental work.

Experiencia negativa: I had alot of problem with coast dental. United health only insures for preventive dental work. The following year united the insurance company decided to cancel for the crows, bridges etc,. I was only insure for cleaning and xrays. I decided to get another outside dental insurance with another company. I kept telling the cost office manager that my prior insurance will not cover me. She insisted that they will cover me because of prior year but that was not the case, I told her to check before the work is done which means pulling a tooth and adding a crowd to my front tooth. Now its seems to me everyone is trying to get money for their company, but it does not mean not listening to your customer or creating an unacceptable maneuvers to achieve that goal.. I kept saying to her did you check my insurance, yes , she said, I will check , this went on for some time over and over again. One day I call my new insurance company just to recheck information given to me, I was told by a 2nd person its ok I can use my insurance.. I had 2 confirmation on either side that I can proceed with the work. Both people from either sides give incorrect information .Then you become stuck with the consequences Therefore I was charge over a thousand dollars that I have to pay out of pocket. with the information that was given to me. I paid $450.00 first time, 2nd i was sent a text for 520.00 plus the addition payments made at the office. The 520.00 is being done on a monthly basis until paid off, I was told by the manager I did not have to pay it, because it was her fault due to the fact, she did not follow up, mistakes was had occurred. I did insist I would pay for parts of the bill. I did not know I would receive another balance. Please seniors beware of dental offices and medical facilities before getting any work done you can be easily scam. I do want to go back to coast dental again, after this. I have to be more attentive to what I sign with any company.. if you want this problem to be solved we can take it to court.

Recently had an issue and had to go back to the office it was the best dentist visit ever!!!! They got rid of the incompetence no long wait the doctor really knows what he is doing and tries to save your teeth before pulling, it feels like family here!!! Now I'm excited to see the dentist! I will definitely be back and recommend to ALL my friends and family!!!!! This office really goes the extra mile for the patient and ALL the staff is very pleasant and helpful the Doctor is AMAZING!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: My son went in for a regular cleaning, but they insisted he needed a deep cleaning instead. When he called me, I asked a few basic questions about why the dentist was recommending it. The staff member helping him was completely unprepared and seemed to be improvising answers. I requested that they at least perform a regular cleaning that day and schedule the deep cleaning separately, but they refused. This is completely unacceptable. Very unprofessional and feels like a scam!

Experiencia negativa: Last year I spent over 4000.00 at this location. I made appointment for a filling for June 18th at noon, waited for over an hour to be seen. I did not want to use insurance so I was going to pay with my card. Dentist comes in confirms I need a filling and leaves. Then assistant comes in with with treatment plan and tells me the filling will be 477.00. I had a question about the amount so the assistant gets the office manager. She enters the room, no introduction, doesn't ask is their a problem Ms. Adams. Office manager (if you want to call her that) states very rudely, very disrespectful, the price is 477.00. If you had insurance it would be less (I have insurance but didn't want to use it) so the price is 477.00, do you want it or not. At first I said yes because I had already waited an hour, but then I looked at her and saw the nasty attitude. I got up out the chair and left, no one cared. I refuse to spend my money on businesses and employees who don't give a damn. I will not return and I will let it be known how they treat people, might even get a sign and stand out front. I wonder how the so called office manager would deal with that. Do not go to coast dental, highway robbery

Experiencia negativa: Tried to cancel an appointment and they could not have made it any harder. A call center answers and takes all of my information , name, address, phone. Only to then tell me they can’t cancel the appointment only the office can.( which is who I thought I was calling). She transfers me to the office who don’t answer and so I was sent back to the call center. Now I have to wait for someone to call me just so I can cancel an appointment. I was going to reschedule but honestly I don’t think I’ll be going back if it’s this hard to cancel one appointment. Don’t waste your time with this office. Go elsewhere. So you are able to reply to a review in two hours but still aren’t able to answer your office phones . Do you see how ridiculous this is?? I called back 4 hours later and got the same run around. When I asked if I was speaking to someone in the office or if it was a call center he lied and said office. He then put me on hold so he could call the office but guess what ?? No answer. This is laughable at how unprofessional this office is.

Experiencia fantástica: Francisco was great! I was given a hard time at checking out , being I didn't come prepared to pay $190. For my cleaning, having insurance just didn't make sense to me and I told them if they could bill me they insisted I pay all when I said I could only pay half now and rest later when I got paid like the next day. Well needless to say they were not taking no consideration and wouldn't even make my follow up appointment until the remainder was paid in full.Other than that all good.

The atmosphere was calm & peaceful, very nice and considerate group. I went to the Dentist on 9-23-24 for a routine cleaning for my teeth. The Doctor that did the work really encouraged me to keep up what ever I was doing because my teeth looked nice. I’m so pleased with the workers from the receptionist to the Dentist/Doctor, assistants and all who so kindly did their part in the dental work for my Health. Thank you sincerely.

They knew I didn't have insurance & retired...I told the nurse & she said "Don't worry, we'll take care of you" and they sure did! To the tune of $150 for ONE X-RAY & 2 minutes with the doctor looking in my mouth. Then he gives me a non-plan that only partially takes care of the problem. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY! I've been going to this location for a long time. This is the 5th change of staff & dentist. I am really upset with these people. Everything felt like it was about how much they could charge me. It was infuriating especially when I had just told them I had no coverage. They REAMED me! Then they pushed their in-house insurance on me because they SAID that it would be cheaper than paying full price for that 1 x-ray and him to look.... I was especially livid when I found a place that does a $49 FULL exam. Again. don't go to this Coast Dental.

I took off this day waited for this day all for it to be canceled not by me. Very disappointed and so unprofessional. One missed call can cost you your appt even though you confirmed it.

Experiencia fantástica: Very good experience, first time at this Dental office , I was in severe pain due to an infected tooth that needed to be extracted. When I arrived I was kindly greeted and the entire staff were completely professional and friendly. I received my X-ray exams and treatment plan, I also was explained alternative payment options, which I took advantage of to pay for my total treatment. I am already referring my family and friends to go to Coast Dental, because I am no longer in pain and I was able to receive a cleaning as well. I will definitely continue to come to Coast Dental in Deltona Florida, they did a wonderful job and I wish I could give them 10 starts.

When I called disputing extra charges the receptionist told me she was waiting for a personal call and the office wasn’t open. That I should call another day. Besides , the doctor flirting with his assistants while he’s working on my teeth, it’s so unprofessional.

After almost 1.5hrs later we both left the office with an estimate of all the work we needed (over $9,000) and no dental cleaning! My husband received ongoing invoice for several months for services never provided!! This people only sees patients as money $$$ symbols and are not interested in their wellbeing. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Look for other provider!!

This is a great clinic, they made us feel at home and among family. Very caring and warm welcome. This is very important for me since my mother clearly expresses going to the dentist is very difficult emotionally. But she left pleased and relax! And prices are reasonable. I am changing my dentist to this clinic!

Experiencia negativa: Awful. I set an appointment online. Confirmed it and got multiple reminder texts from the office. When I arrive I was told the doctor had already left. Then reception had the wrong information and referred to me as multiple different patients before finding MY actual information. I was then told the online appointment system doesn’t work. Then why does it exist? This was my first time at this office and will definitely be the last. I was hoping to find a local dentist. If you are too definitely don’t go here.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had three different visits with Coast Dental. I had a long overdue deep cleaning. 6 new fillings. And I made the decision to remove my 7 old metal amalgam fillings and replace with composite. I have had those fillings for over 30 years. Being someone with a bit of a phobia about this type of thing getting this amount of work done was a deeply emotional and mental challenge that I have been trying to work up the courage to do for too long. I was incredibly pleased by the work of Dr. Chumpitaz and all of the rest of his amazing team. The took what for my was a deeply disturbing process and made it bearable and minimized my pain. I can't recommend highly enough this team of stellar dental professionals. Thanks Coast Dental!

Dentist did work to a tooth knowing they were going to have to do a bridge there so added a $1200 bill, which I paid and figured okay sometimes mistakes are made. Then front staff that did our billing messed up every person in our families bill. My daughter get a free cleaning twice a year, but charged us. The worst part is we paid it the day of the service, but front staff made a mistake and did not show as the bill was paid, even though I have a copy of receipt and bank statement they still haven't corrected it. My bill same paid day of and they didn't show as paid, and again have the receipts and bank statements still hasn't been corrected, so I paid it again since they sent me to collections. I have called customer service, gone to office and called corporate but no has ever returned my call or corrected bill. There is still a bill for my fiance that the front office said they finally corrected and they actually owed us $75, but several months later I received a collections notice for that bill that was over $900 and again no call back from corporate and front office are no help. Also, I get text messages weekly saying to pay them over $900 for that bill that they sent us to collections for, which again I have bank statements and receipts. Never go to them worst service ever.

Experiencia negativa: Thought i would give coast dental another try at a different location the dentist is nice but the lady who is over having you sign about your treatment plan is no hateful and talks down to you. She needs to be fired. Tried to have them call me back several time before my appointment to get clarification about some things and they will never call you back. When i went into the office to told them i did not agree with some of the treatment plan and the hateful lady over billing stated then go somewhere else you treatment plan can not be change. If you are not able to voice your option about your own health care me and my son will never come back to this location or any other coast dental from here on out. I would rather my teeth rot out of my head or die from not being able to get the dental work done before i will not be allowed to make any decisions regarding my own health

Experiencia negativa: The office was the filthiest place I have ever been. The hygienist dropped something on the floor, picked it up and tried to use it on me! There are handprints on the walls. To add insult, an office workerwas asked to violate HIPPA policy by an office manager from another office on the phone while in front of me. It was a terrible experience.

Experiencia negativa: Please don’t go here, they will send you a bill 4 YEARS later for unpaid bill even tho we paid fully at the day of service. And they will send you to collections over a few bucks so watch your email for “unpaid” bill for next decade. You can’t change the amount you bill people AFTER they paid X years later!

Experiencia negativa: Worst practice ever! This is my first time leaving a negative review for a business. Beware of this office. I made an appointment two months ago after calling and confirming with a staff member that they take my insurance. They sent me an email where you have a bunch of documents to sign electronically as I was going to be a new patient. One of the onboarding items includes submitting your health insurance information. The day of the appt. Came and I drove to the office only to be told that 1. The doctor had something come up that day so he wasn’t there 2. Because I was a new patient they only see them up to a certain time. The front desk was so embarrassed as no one had called to tell me but was very sweet and even gave me her cell number so she can prioritize scheduling me for a new date once I checked my schedule. I was mad but things happen and so we scheduled a new date. The next opening was 2 months later! I called twice last week to ensure that 1. The appt time was good as I was a first time patient 2. Confirm the appt time. Both times I am told my appt is at different times than scheduled…but we are good. Yesterday was my appt date and ONE HOUR before I get a TEXT telling me that they don’t take my I Insurance and if I see them I’ll pay the full price. I called and explained my sheer disbelief. I cancelled the appt and here we are. This office is so unorganized. Don’t go here!

And there is a new hygienist, Francisco you were so kind and I think you are great at your job! And also Kitty an assistant there is so compassionate towards people with anxiety. The day of the appointment I called just in case anything was changed. They seem like they didn’t know what was going on the appointment was confirmed I’m a text but they didn’t have me for that day. They were confused so I made another appointment for April Now in April they don’t cancel my appointment. They rescheduled it and I said what kind of company is this? I’ve been waiting three months already. Horrible service horrible customer service. Just imagine what the dental hygienist are. Service must move on. I suggest don’t come here.

It started out slow due to a Front Desk Staff Member calling out to open the Dental Office, but they were very professional on getting me in to do my new patient x-rays and got my deep cleaning done. Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place to ATTEMPT to go to! To start off, the receptionist gave me the wrong date when I was on the phone with her. Then when I arrive after an hour long Uber ride, there’s a red headed witch who says for me to good to the back where she just started trying to bully me, then she called for the dentist WHO ATTACKED ME! They tried pressing charges but they seen the footage that they presented to the police showed them actually doing the wrong thing, they were hitting me and trying to choke me. That dentist was in the wrong for illegally detaining me, and I’m going to the hospital to have a dr look at the injuries I sustained from the ‘office managerI’ (I don’t think that she is but she was saying she was) I’m filing charges on them! At the very least they’ll have to pay my medical costs for doing what THEY DID to me… of course everyone took their bosses side. But they have video of it, so why not share it?

Had wisdom teeth pulled called the office next day on Thursday had couple questions and concerns no one called me back I finally got through to them on monday. Today I went in to have a follow up I waited from 11:30 to 1:00 to be seen my appointment was at 11:30. Jeanette got very rude to me this is no way you treat a patient and not acceptable definitely want to hear from someone

I can honestly say that after every appointment, a tooth extraction, deep clean, and fillings when the numbness wore off I never felt pain. Francisco and the staff are amazing, thank you all so much.

Experiencia negativa: they are great doctors at giving you service, but you give them your insurance, and treatment plan is unprofessional, when you look at it with dollar signs they try to cheat you out of your money with your insurance on it to make you pay for anything for a certain service you do, and when you call the office they are rude at you sometimes when you ask questions about insurance or anything else. don't go to this dentist place if you don't want to be around rude people and be ripped off even if you have good insurance, and i had to pay for something for my insurance can pay for. i'm finding a new dentist

Experiencia negativa: Total con artists. I specifically told them all year that I was disabled and on a fixed income, and to be sure to never to go over my allotted benefits for the year. During my last visit they did treatments without my consent that sent me over $400 my insurance max. Nobody in the company will help me. They also kicked me out of my 2nd to last appt when they all of a sudden decided to make me fill out a medical questionnaire to get signed by my Neurologist. They had no problems treating me all year before that though. I felt humimiliated.

This happens frequently with this dental practice; the receptionist calls to reschedule appointments, which indicates they do not value their patients' time. I'm considering finding a new dentist.

Experiencia negativa: 2 dental procedures failed (fell out) exposing sensitive areas to heat/cold as well as pain while chewing. Insurance company claims correct documentation not supplied to them by dentist. Called dental and inquired when procedures were going to be completed and was assured would be called back but that didn’t happen. Care credit reviewed and refunded $. When a creditor provides a substantial refund it suggests facts are in order. Call your insurance company (before selecting a dentist) and inquire with them what Dental offices are the easiest to work with from their perspective and pick from there.

Experiencia fantástica: The hygienist was a few minutes late due to a crash on I-4. Nevertheless, he was polite and efficient. I didn't mind the brief wait. The office ladies were very pleasant. Nobody likes going to the dentist, but if you must, this is the way it should be.

Being in a dental office chair gives me soooo much anxiety but they always make me feel very very comfortable. 10/10 to you guys!!!

Experiencia negativa: This place is terrible the assistant there really have nasty attitude plus they told me my insurance didn't cover certain parts of my dental work come to find out they never put in the pre authorization code but instead told me what was due today..... All I can say now is I owe a third party 1,700+.....after my insurance told me I'm 100% covered for all my dental work. This isn't over.

Experiencia fantástica: I showed up without an appointment, in pain! Jeannette at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful realizing how much I was suffering. After a short wait I was taken back to Kitty who did X-rays. She was so pleasant and assuring that the Dr. could help me today. A short time later the doctor saw me, explained my X-rays and went to work. I can't thank you all enough for the great care you gave me. Feeling much better today.
