But i’m especially thankful today for the hospitality of the staff that checked me in, the hygienist I saw, and Dr. Patel! Everyone was incredibly welcoming. Huge shoutout to Angelina—She was a rockstar hygienist who talked me through every step and how I can better take care of my teeth like better methods to brushing. She’s incredibly detailed and sweet. On top of that, she was personable which I feel gets lost in these kinds of appointments. She asked me if I had travel I was excited about, my job, etc. She really went above and beyond. This office is lucky to have her! In addition to Angelina, I saw Dr. Patel today as Dr. Nanda was out of the office and she was incredibly kind, thorough and direct. I appreciated her style of explanation, no sugar coating anything with steps to avoid my concerns. She really listened to me! Lastly, the front office personnel I worked with was incredibly sweet (her name is escaping me). I forgot my HSA card and she helped me with a workaround to pay online after the visit so I could use it when I got home. Overall, this office is crushing it. Between their doctors, hygienists and front office staff, I’m glad I could see them again. Feels like my dental care is taken seriously and done thoroughly.

Experiencia fantástica: After my long-term dentist closed her office, I was in search of a new dentist. My daughter-in-law is a hygienist in this office so I automatically chose this office. From the time I made the appointment, I was warmly greeted. I received several welcoming messages and was able to complete all of the new patient paperwork online before the appointment. I was also asked about my desired experience and was offered things like headphones and a blanket!! When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by everyone. When my cleaning began, I was asked how much detail I desired and all my questions were answered. Once my X-rays were taken and the cleaning was complete, Brianna offered recommendations on how to clean my teeth (and gums) thoroughly. Even since my appointment, I have received follow up messages that help me feel cared for as a patient. I’m grateful. Update 6/13/24 Brianna is no longer with the practice so I saw Sarah for my cleaning. I had to wait a little after my appointment time (7-10 minutes) to be called in. Sarah was good and explained everything she was doing. She was very kind and considerate. She was a bit talkative so maybe that’s why I had to wait to be seen. Again, the dentist was kind and thorough. I will return. Update 2/27/26 Sarah continues to be very thorough and takes her time to explain what she is doing. She is friendly and warm. I met a new dentist during this visit and she was nice, efficient and addressed my questions.

When I was done with my appointment with Dr. Patel the front office let me know they have an open appointment later and asked me if I could come back for that as well. Essentially got everything done at the Dentist office in 1 day. Thank you also to Nicole for teaching me how to floss. 44 years been doing it wrong this whole time...always something to learn!

The receptionist Steph not only was able to get me scheduled for the next day alongside getting my intake paperwork processed through, but Dr. Nanda and the dental assistant Angelina were fantastic and overall i left feeling much better than when I went in. 100% recommend for new patients

From the receptionists to the hygienist are extremely friendly, understanding of all circumstances and empathetic! I haven't been to dentist in a few years and had horrible anxiety. Today I saw Sue and Dr.Li for cavity maintenance. With tears in my eyes both Sue and Dr. Li calmed my nerves. Felt little no work being done and my anxieties were gone. The level of care I recieved today has changed my outlook on dental care. Can't stress this enough, please come here to EDG. They will take care of you! Update: I currently see Angelina as my hygienist. I have nothing but kind words. She is the best! She makes every cleaning so calm and relaxing. EDG is the best!!!

Steph at the front desk worked really hard to make sure I was taken care of, not only while I’m here but also with a good oral surgeon, she showed patience and was very genuine. The office Manager Melissa and Yari were very efficient with this process and showed just how much they care about their patients. I also had the pleasure of working with Steph at the front desk, who helped me reschedule an appointment for my significant other and guided me through the booking process with ease. Everyone in the office is incredibly personable, welcoming, and professional. They do truly outstanding work, and I can’t recommend them enough!

Add to that the warmth and personality of everyone you come in contact with from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist - even the woman who takes care of insurance. And most importantly, the high quality of dentistry from Dr. Patel. She explains the service from start to finish and makes sure you understand throughout the process. Moving to Elmwood was the best decision I made!

From reception to the hygienist who was absolutely wonderful with me. I explained my fears and past experiences and she made sure I was ok every step of the way. Also after my cleaning and exrays on to Dr. Li to check everything. Both were all very patient with me. I am hearing impaired and I have to use my captions on my phone to understand what is being said. I believe that really made me feel good about being there. They did not disregard my impairment. As others have before. I know there is still more work to be done. But I am more comfortable going there and a little less fearful. Thank you to the staff who helped me thru the entire process. Chris and Dr. Li were quite professional and knowledgeable and made sure I was comfortable throughout my exam. Glad I made the choice to visit Elmwood Dental. Highly recommend!

I followed Dr. Wilcox here and have been very happy with Dr. Gomes and Patel. And in terms of the amazing care from Paula to Meg to now Sarah, caring and thorough. Sarah is wonderfully talented and also shares information and very helpful explanations. Friday 5 January 2024 Another HUGE shout out to Carly (sp?) and all there! I have to change all of my appointments for later in the day and deal with accessibility. Carly was so warm and helpful and thoughtful; something that was troubling me was handled with the utmost kindness and professionalism. I am never treated like a number, always like ME! I am very fortunate to have them in my side. (You would be/will be too!) Saturday 9 September 2023 No specifics but WOW! Dr. Gomes and the office knew I had some oral surgery… out of the blue I get something demonstrating their care and attention! Amazing and SO appreciated! Thank you Dr. Gomes! And All!!!

Experiencia positiva: I love the dentist office. Don't get me wrong. However, when I was there they were unable to do x-rays due to timing and insurance so we had to request them from my previous dentist. Dr Patel knows I am concerned about damage to my jaw and so I sent an email today asking if they received the x-rays and if she can give me her opinions and rather than answering she said I can wait to discuss those at my next appt. So I have to go through the holiday worrying about my jaw? That doesn't sit well with me. That is why I am only rating 3 stars
