Experiencia fantástica: Saw me at my scheduled appointment time with swift and professional demeanor. I put an appointment inquiry in motion 24 hours ago and I already had an exam! I was not expecting to be scheduled so quickly. I'm usually very nervous around dentists, and my extensive oral surgical history was a great worry for me but this office quelled my worries without making a big deal out of my history. I'm looking forward to returning for my cleaning next week!

Experiencia negativa: my initial appt went great and when i told the doctor i had anxiety over the shot cause the pain, he then said I would have to take a pill and with that pill that I would be there but not be there and I was on the fence about it and when when they gave me the price of the pill ($400) I said oh no I will put my big girl pants on and deal with the pain of the shot. they said they would call me back letting me know if the doctor would be ok with that they said ok we can give you the pill for $50 which I though was weird and I told them no its ok I don't want to be high i have 4 kids and i just rather not and they said they if we start and you cant finish they're will be a $250 fee I agreed they made the appt and then they call me back No, we can only see you if you take the pill. I replied again no thinking to myself "why do they need me high?" then she lets me know you need to find another dentist and i replied "why, because I refuse the pill?" they said "yes" so I said "I guess I need to go somewhere" then she asked "so do I cancel your appt?" I just said "what do you mean your telling me you wont see me unless I'm sedated..." just hung up its just the wildest thing like i only went once loved it and never went again i took all my x-rays no complain the check up i never complained the cleaning I never complained never gave Karen vibes so I'm super confused...now i'm looking for a new dentist

Experiencia negativa: Update: They called to confirm my next appointment and when I told them that I needed to reschedule because I got called in for work (I’m a nurse on night shift), they were rude and definitely not understanding and let me know I’d be charged $55 for rescheduling because it wasn’t 48 hours in advance (but I can’t predict when patients are going to need me)! I also drive a 1.5 hour commute for work AND to this clinic if I’m coming from home so they expected me to work 16 hours, get off at 7:30AM and wait around in Salinas until 11AM for a cleaning?? Oddly enough this was after I expressed concerns about how I’d be reaching a $2,000 annual maximum with just X-rays and deep cleanings and then have to pay $1,800 out of pocket for a crown and something else. Seems they’re actually more concerned about money than they are about their patients needs. I cancelled all of my appointments and let them know I will happily find a different dental office. I’m not going to spend my money on anyone that doesn’t value my time. Neither should anyone else! First visit: This dental office is WONDERFUL. I walked in and was greeted by name & I instantly received a gift bag and a tour of the facility, which was totally unexpected. The staff were so incredibly nice! They even gave me a hot lavender towel at the end to wash my face! The facility is very clean and they seem like they really value their jobs and aren’t “in it for the money”. Nothing about my experience felt rushed as if they were just pushing clients through like a factory. I highly recommend this dental office! Above and beyond 1st class service with genuine staff that are thorough, professional, and friendly.

Experiencia negativa: Update … it been a couple business days since my initial review. I’ve had no response from Blanco Circle Dental. Non-response and silence must mean there’s no rebuttal. They’ve responded to other postings/reviews, but not my post. Hmm … Initial post: A few months ago my wife decided to stop using Blanco Circle Dental Care for her and my kids due to poor communication and customer service. Shortly after that decision, I had attended my regular check up and expressed my wife’s concerns to the office manager. The office manager promised to call my wife and address her concerns, but the office manager never contacted my wife. Recently, the office staff call my wife to confirm my son’s check up. My wife asked the staff member to cancel my son’s appointment a well as my her appointment and my daughter’s appointment. I showed up today for my appointment that I had scheduled during my last check up, but they didn’t have my appointment on the schedule. One of the staff members said that she recently spoke to my wife and said that my wife asked to cancel my appointment too. This is not true. My wife knew very well that I never had any issues with Blanco Circle Dental and I intended to continue my care there. My wife and I have separate insurance policies. I manage my own healthcare and my wife has no authority to cancel any of my appointments; I never gave permission for my wife to manage my appointments. Shame on Blanco Circle Dental for canceling my appointment without my approval. What’s worse is that the staff made no effort to work out the miscommunication with me. They didn’t apologize or make any effort to reschedule my appointment. The staff just had a blank look on their face. I guess I’m in the market for a new dentist. Oh well, I guess my wife was right. The customer service at this office is going downhill.
