2 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I went to Dr. Joseph P. Nore’ clinic for the first time in November, 2023. I come from China, where dental medicine practice is different from America in many ways. I used to go to visit public dental care center when I was living in China. Dentists are heavily work loaded and super busy. Honestly speaking, I had unpleasant experiences when I had my wisdom teeth extracted and even regular teeth cleaning. Unfortunately, I had a failed root canal treatment which I received in a dental clinic in Shanghai years ago. Such frustrations put shadows on the idea of seeing a dentist even after I move to live in America. Lucky me! I have found Dr. Nore’ dental clinic finally. It’s located in a beautiful and historical urban neighborhood. The clinic is cozy, clean and organized. Everyone is nice, helpful and reliable. In the pass two and half years, I have had regular teeth cleaning, dental annual check up, decay tooth filling and a root canal re-treatment (the core buildup and the crown) there. The experiences and services are good! I deeply feel blessed that I have found a trustworthy dental clinic. I appreciate all the kindness I have received in Dr. Nore’ dental clinic.

3 months ago Experiencia negativa: Long wait with no explanation, unclear communication, and no introduction of the provider. I wasn’t sure if I was being seen by a hygienist or dentist, and the appointment felt rushed. Clear communication would make a big difference.

4 months ago Experiencia fantástica: My mom referred me to this dentist and I'm so glad she did. I found myself navigating through who accepts my insurance after losing my job and I am so glad that the dentist she goes to excepts my insurance. I walked in Friday, December 12th in a lot of pain that didn't dissipate after 4 days so I decided to walk in to get a professional opinion by booking an appointment. I was so grateful that when I went there they were able to take me in as a walk-in and I was able to get immediate treatment which was comforting because I was in a lot of pain. The front staff were so nice to me and the paperwork to fill out was seamless. I did however make a mistake and walked downstairs and I was so embarrassed not knowing the practice was upstairs but the staff downstairs reassured me that it was okay even though I was really embarrassed. I said all this to say if you are looking for a dentist you don't have to look far when this practice is very near.

5 months ago Experiencia fantástica: I have gone to numerous dental clinics and always left frustrated or unhappy until I came across Dr. Nore's dental practice via Yelp. What a wonderful surprise and I'm very happy I found them. First off the front desk staff are all so efficient, professional and friendly. The dental assistants are all impressive - kind and knowledgeable. Both Dr. Nores are the BEST professionals I've come across. They are compassionate, very skilled, explain things clearly to you and as a patient I don't feel any pressure. Dr. Nore is someone I fully trust and feel comfortable. Overall in this office I have quietly witnessed and can feel the vibe of "true service to community". From the doctors down to the staff I feel so supported and I can't thank them enough. NOTE: for me personally it's worth mentioning that I just love their music playlist because it helps calm me and forget whatever procedure I'm going through. Thank you!

7 months ago Experiencia fantástica: A while back, a person at BU’s dental school recommended this dentist for cleanings. The area is lovely. The whole team is really nice, professional, & personable. The practice’s principals I’ve met with each did a good job sharing info about my teeth, showing me x-rays, & encouraging me to continue with good oral health practices. A Tufts dental student about to graduate was training on-site & did one of my cleanings. He was very nice & thorough, which I appreciated. Went back for another cleaning & saw they got new, black seating for the lobby. Very comfortable & professional looking. Never had a problem with booking appointments. They seem to have a steady stream of clientele. Bathroom was always clean & stocked with good soap & paper towels.

They know exactly how to treat those individuals. They give him confidence and explain everything they were going to do at that time. The place is clean and you feel very comfortable there. Not recommend bring a car because there is not Private parking but has good transit transportation. I recommend them 100% God Bless you All. ❤️

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I come all the way from Salem to Boston’s’ South End and so does my entire family .We make this long trek because Dr.Norre and his dental team are exceptional and have treated us like family for over 15 years .From cleanings ( Tyler Boutte who will be graduating this spring from Tufts’ Dental School and becoming a dentist himself, did an excellent and thorough job ,cleaning and overseeing my dental visit today ) to X - rays , to braces for my kids , to crowns , fillings ,extractions and cosmetic work ,the care and expert professionalism has kept us coming back for over 15 years ! They run on time, are flexible with scheduling , and even stayed the course and met patients needs during difficult Covid ! They are kind and considerate , at the same time offering professional high standards of care.Gloria the practices ‘manager is so knowledgeable ,helpful and kind ,always looking after the needs of patients and offering help to navigate complex insurance processes so patients get their financial concerns and needs met in the quickest, most effective ways .She truly is grace under pressure ! The front desk is amazing as well :shout out to Kelly and her team who always are kind , polite ,understanding and accommodating, all with a smile ! Dr.Norre and his team in the heart of the South End has the brave heart of a lion as the fearless high integrity leader ,with his dentist son ,also Dr . Yokohama ,and Dr. Simon who are all outstanding as well ! They run a clean ,organized , professional , kind , compassionate practice with excellent dental care which is why we keep coming back and recommended them so highly !Today I had to have X- rays ,I have a bad gag reflex so the technician worked using the smallest instruments and was very patient while I breathed slowly to relax.Dr . Norre and his excellent team always go the extra mile ,this keeps us coming back with gratitude and respect for their dental practices’ efficacy . They are the only dental team In Boston I would trust mine and my family’s teeth with !

Dr Simon, with adept expertise extracted my wisdom tooth, then took the time to suture the affected area. Dr. Simon exhibited a high level of patience, numbing me until I was able to manage the pressure from the wisdom tooth extraction. Once I was ready, I was amazed at how little time the procedure took once she went to work. Now I know where to go to get a high level of care, expertise and future dental work done.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: Been going here my whole life and have no complaints. Walked in, got attended to within 10-15 mins of my arrival. Hygienist was extremely friendly and made great conversation and booking my follow up was quick and easy. English and Spanish are both spoken at the practice as well.

Most hygienists are completely inexperienced, leading to an awful experience (not reviewing charts before visit, not offering to rinse frequently or even a cup of water to do so…). Doctors provide cursory care and can be rather rough in their exams. Office is generally depressing.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I will say and not just pointing out 1 staff but all. That every time I go to my appointment. I’m always greeted with the same professionalism as the first time. My dentist is the best I’ve ever had throughout my 50 years of life and don’t intend on leaving him in the future. Besides him having both his Asian & English language. He’s also very fluent with Spanish. Heck I’d even say he speaks better than myself lol. He’s the best at what he does and is always willing to go on and beyond to help you think what’s best for you through his advice of expertise. Not to mention his character is always the same when one is sitting in that chair by making you feel right at home like if you were sitting on your recliner. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: When I changed health my insurance provider I needed to find a new dentist. Fortunately Dr. Nore’s office was accepting new patients and I was happy with the convenience of the location— a short walk from my home. I have been seen by Dr. Laura Simon, whose work is excellent—she is a highly skilled and experienced professional. Additionally, she is just a lovely person! Everyone in the office from front desk staff to technicians and assistants has been very pleasant and polite. For those patients whose first language is not English—my guess is you will have no difficulty in communicating with the international staff who speak a variety of languages. I highly recommend Dr. Nore’s practice, and Dr. Simon, in particular.

1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with the service from Dr. Nore. I was incredibly nervous at first because I suffer from SEVERE dental anxiety and both Dr. Nore and Louis made me feel more at ease. I got a traditional 3 – unit dental bridge for my front teeth and the results were INCREDIBLE. I left the office in tears of JOY after the procedure because the bridge molded very well with my other teeth in terms of shape, size, and color. Dr. Nore and Louis took their time with uttermost patience, so that the results would be perfected and that I would be happy with the results. Since I left the office, I have received compliments on how great my teeth look! I feel the most confident in terms of my smile and will not shy away from smiling ever again. 1 year ago Experiencia fantástica: I had pain really bad pain in my teeth on my left side. I got an emergency appointment in 2 days. Dr Nore Sr. saw me!!!!!!!! He was patient had a great sense of humor! He also understood how scared I was and empathized with my being in pain. It wasn’t cavities it was another issue. He fixed me up real good and sent me on my way. I have nothing but pleasant experiences at this office. I used to have his Son as my dentist but I started seeing someone else and he was very good also. I’m a patient at Dr Nore’s DDS. Office and you should be too!!!!!!!!

We chose it because of it's good reputation serving individuals 65 years and older and the fact that many staff members and dentists speak Spanish. My mother has gotten great care for her teeth they far and communication between professionals in the practice about her care and then back to us has improved. I will point out that our experience with dental assistants have been superb. They always treat my mother with kindness and care.

1 year ago Experiencia negativa: Waist of time, I been there twice for service and they do what they want, look at my teeth and send me make another appointment and another appointment like my time is not valuable. If they cannot take care of their current patients they should stop taking new ones or just hired more people. I liked them but they need to be more professional.

Raphael was great he has the expertise and well experienced with all his patients and me being one of his prime examples! I'm no stranger I guess I've been with this department for several years now. And they do take their profession extremely serious! And dr. Raffaele finished up my final crown on my upper tooth without using Novacane or any type of gas or painkillers and it was a complete success! So back to the usual see you in March for my cleaning!
