Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. Cancel appointments with under 24 hour notice. Quick to change your appointment, but not let you know they are an hour behind. Horrible service. Would never recommend.

Grateful that I was alright, but needed to call out of work, complete my claim with GEICO. Dropped off my car to get repaired in Poughkeepsie. , stopped by my job, rushed to get my rental car in Wappiners falls. Then ran to my dental appt, by 1 pm. Each stop became costly, and the last thing I wanted to do was go to the dentist. When I got there and checked in. I was taken care of quickly in the most professional, friendly way. My hygienist Wendy, and Melissa always take care of me, and make you feel confident and comfortable. Dr Jung, and Sharif were very effective in taking care of me, and the Best was they both listened to my concerns. I would recommend this Dentist to anyone.

I have never had a bad experience as I have had with other groups. Friendly, competent, experienced and professional employees and dentists makes your experience and needed services complete.. Dr Bower is a must. I'm 72 yrs old and have been through a few of them...he's the best. A must Dentist, and I mean it.

I was worried about the surgery itself but Dr. Jordan made sure that the procedure would be painless with a timely recovery. Everyone there is very kind and attentive. I had an infection in an older crown that I was unaware of and needed an antibiotic. That alone makes me happy. Thank you.

Experiencia negativa: Name of the dentist is “Smilist” in fishkill on Rt 52 across from John J high school Please beware of using this Dentist. My insurance paid $1500 and I paid $1230. I went to them for a root canal and I had to return twice to have the permanent crown put back on because it kept slipping. When he put the crown on for the last time, the dentist told me I had a serious infection and the tooth would have to be pulled. All this after having worked on my tooth for several months. The infection was never cleared up during the root canal and I had to have the tooth pulled. They refused to return my $1230 which I paid out of pocket. It caused me pain and suffering. At the age of 77. I had to have my first tooth pulled because of their inadequate work.

Experiencia fantástica: Today was a scheduled appointment from three months now and I finally got in because your office is so busy I got in today and there was a misunderstanding that my doctor that I had an appointment with is on vacation in Greece and that they couldn't see me meanwhile it took me this long to get in so the other doctor Dr. JJ he is very thorough pleasant and professional.. He squeezed me in and saw me and diagnose me and handled what he had to do and made sure that things got done today.. I so appreciate it and I thank you and I thank him.

Experiencia negativa: Stay away from Dr. Matthew Goldsmith because he WILL mangle your face and mouth. Worst and most traumatizing time ever at a dentist. I left the office today in tears and shaking. The dentist’s hands were shaky from the beginning. He applied topical anesthetic like an ogre. He stabbed me with the syringe so hard that I thought it was a needle. Then he did the needle and that was actually less painful. Then he starts drilling for my filling. This is when he decides to start a conversation with the assistant that should have been private. He was clearly having a problem but blamed it on the innocent assistant. Then his hands shook so badly that he dropped the drill and I started bleeding. The drill made a hole in my bottom lip and under my tongue. The tooth he was working on was not even in that area. I refused letting him finish because I was absolutely terrified of him. Now that the Novocain is wearing off, I’m in a whole world of pain. In addition to the pain & open wounds, my lip is bruised and swollen. Never go to this place. They literally terrified and traumatized someone that loves the dentist and actually giggles in the dentist chair. I was told that this has happened multiple times. I’ve spoken with other people who used to work there and they all say the place is a slice of hell.

We were hesitant, but found the smileless dentist in our network upon entering it was. Evident that they were a well oiled machine. Everyone there was very professional and caring. Experiencia fantástica: I went to the Smilist Dental East Fishkill, skeptical and shy because my teeth were in bad conditions ; but I find a group of people full of professionalism willing to help you to overcame your fears and give you a nice and beautiful smile back, so you can regain your confidence in yourself. I was lucky to get DR. ASTAR and her assistants LEA and MARIA to guide me through this process and it was so much easier with their experience and dedication to their occupation. I was told that the routine hygienist was out, and there was a temp in her place that they contracted out for the day. I WASN’T disappointed because their normal hygienists are just OKAY. I had the temp who was absolutely outstanding! She was an Angel! I wish I knew her name…think it began with a Z and she was African American. Well, she was a superb hygienist! I’m a dental phobic, and she made me feel very comfortable and I never winced once! In fact…almost fell asleep!…lol The x ray tech and Dr JJ were also very good. I already made another six month appointment, but sadly, I won’t have the same hygienist as they got her off a temp list? I hope the Smilist dental office is reading this review and bring her back! Thanks so much for a great visit!

Experiencia fantástica: Both of my boys(8 & just turned 13) saw Dr Adele Newell and I was extremely happy with all of our experiences with her. She truly cares about the children and their dental care. I’m truly saddened that she is leaving when we only just found her about 6 months ago. She gave the best dental care to my children that they have ever had. Edited 8/13/25 I would like to add that I’ve seen Dr. Baur since and he is amazing, kind and patient- he is one of the two reasons I will continue going here. My second is for Wendy, a hygienist there. I have to say that I don’t know what I would do if she wasn’t there. She is also great, kind and patient. I saw Nicole today for X-rays and she was yet another great addition to the staff there.

She was very pleased with their services. They treated her with such wonderful care that I was very comfortable with Dr. Jacobson working in my mouth. He was very caring and understanding. He did a great job numbing and extracting my molar. Cristina was very friendly and nice. Helped me relax and feel comfortable. I am so happy to have had a good experience with their work. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Jung is a man of few words, but he’s a professional. I waited two hours for my appointment, but there was an emergency, which I can understand and appreciate. They take their time with other patients’ mouths. I can tell that the office dynamic with all the female employees can be caddy. Hearing how they interact with each other and how sharp they talk to each other or roll their eyes is funny to me. Overall, I really enjoy this office. They’ve never been rude to me, and I can tell they put their patients first.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time getting a filling at the smilist. I switched after moving and had been going to the same dentist for over 20 yrs. As you know there’s a needle involved. I was so nervous. But from the dental assistant to the dentist himself I was comforted. Then where I thought the needle would hurt, NOPE it was great. No pain at all. He was gentle and very soft spoken. Good choice for me.

Experiencia positiva: If you have Medicaid n Medicare insurance they treat you like a 2nd class citzen imo. I made an appointment complaining of a cavity n not being able to eat on one side or drink cold drinks. I have been suffering! They "said" I neded 2 root canals n never showed me the x-rays! They told me that that they MAIL out the approval form!! Obviously not caring about the painful situation of the patient aka as a human being suffering. I'm sure they wouldn't treat thier family this way...hopefully. They estimated it could take 6 WEEKS!!! Instead of being up-front with the process they choose not to be. Also after my visit they sent me an email survey n never responded to it. Greed wins again My guess is this a multi million dollar BUSINESS. They just expanded n plenty of customers n staff. EDIT: I got approved for my procedures on 6/11, The dentist never called me. I'm 66 n disabled n SUFFERING for aprox 2 months already n having to avoid cold drinks n eat on one side of my mouth!! I called them to make an appointment...7 weeks from today, 6/18 on August 9th. Obviously they don't care if I or ANYONE SUFFERS! MONEY OVER PEOPLE. I am basically "forced" to use them due to my insurance. They said they would try n get me in if someone cancels, will update if anything changes. Udate: after only a couple days the dentist called me back with an appointment for Monday. The staff member was very empathetic n nice n I very much appreciate that!!

Experiencia positiva: Saw JJ whom stated nothing was wrong and prescribed extra 600mg Motrin after prior extractions. He started to do panel x-ray then abruptly cancelled and sent my husband on his way with the excruciating pain!! Before that my husband was explaining his pain Dr. JJ didn’t seem to find his disposition important enough to even listen!! He instead answered a person call while my husband was talking and stepped out of the exam space! Overall, issues resolved by Dr. Jacobson. Thank you!

The waiting room was full but it was moving fast to my surprise. The whole team worked great together and did a great job on my cleaning and X-rays . I had a 5 star experience. I own a paving company here local in hopewell jct. I know how hard it is to find great help that can work great together and put the client first. They did a great job .

Dr. Jacobson was a no BS, straight shooting, no drama Doctor! I followed his direction and after surgery I was absolutely impressed as the trauma and pain I expected was almost nil .. I was a professional fighter (kick boxer) and have had many oral surgeries and all I can say is I endorse "The Smilist Team" and "Dr. Jacobson" who is an INCREDIBLE SURGEON. Thank you very much for the professional and caring treatment...

Experiencia fantástica: I got braces for the first time at 18 years old. We discovered a few issues that no other dentist has ever discovered. I needed a palette expander (which worked despite the odds of age), and I still had a baby tooth in the front of my mouth. I absolutely now love my smile. Although it took time, you can really tell the staff cares for you. I’ve made quite a few friends in this office. I’m very satisfied with the work of Dr. Brinkerhoff. He truly cares and looks for the interest of his patients. I would 100% recommend anyone to go here. Such a relaxing and wonderful environment.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an appointment for 12 I came in early around 11:10am and to my surprise I was the only one in the lobby. Normally it’s a long wait. My brother did my X-rays which was cool and my X-rays, cleaning and Dentist Analysis was all finished before 12pm which was great because had an appointment at work at 1pm. Super happy I was out early enough to get to work.

Experiencia negativa: This business continues to blindside me with bills. I will walk into the office and they will tell me, you have a bill due and if you don't pay now, we won't work on you today. This has happened more than 2x. They call to confirm appointments but never mention the bill I have to pay.

After my insurance company told me to call, Smilest for treatment, I told her I was a new patient, she quickly said we are very booked and have nothing available until June, I told her I would wait because I need a dentist to give me an OK so I could receive my Osteoporosis treatment. Than she quickly said our surgeon doesn't accept my insurance??? It was my insurance who have you listed as accepting Wellcare. Confused

It is a difficult feat to find a great dentist without a referral from a trusted family member or friend, I finally got really lucky finding this place, I am so grateful.

Experiencia fantástica: New dentist is amazing and assistant. I had a lot of work done and was not uncomfortable at any time. Everyone was also very kind which made a little wait pleasant.

Experiencia fantástica: They were so great I was nervous and they were super nice and helped calmed my nerves. I had an amazing experience!:)

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience. Unprofessional rude dentist, no manners, doesn't say hi, no eye contact, he is rude to other staff. Don't trust this place. I was injured here and had to return here for another bad experience. I have left a review with them and they have never reached out with an apology. I returned to them when my new dentist told me they did something wrong and they needed to correct it. Same nasty dentist with the worst attitude, but this time, he said hi( he knows who I am). After the painful visit, he tells me next time it will be a root canal". What did he do? Cause more damage?? They also have been double paid by my insurances and did not return the money. I will be calling the insurance to let them know they are trying to pull a fast one.
