I have had these done by other dentists in the past, and they were unpleasant, but this was surprisingly comfortable. The hour passed by quickly. Dr. Kim and his assistant use modern techniques that really make this palatable.

Fantastic experience: Today, I went in for a cleaning on June 18. Julia conducted the preliminary evaluation with this wand to scan my teeth to create a 3D image for the record. It was a new machine I had never seen before. She had a pleasant demeanor and was very friendly. Then Andrea (I think that was her name), took over to clean. She had a good sense of humor and was friendly as well. Overall is a great experience. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Update: I’ve been in Dr Tully’s care for “filling” gaps between my tooth and gum (natural recession). He’s very skilled —the fill-ins look great and will help preserve my teeth as I age.He’s approachable, knowledgeable, excellent, compassionate and willing to take time to work with me on my treatment plan … all traits that I appreciate in a great dentist!

Fantastic experience: I had an odd and maybe rare problem when walking in so I had zero expectation they would help because I literally called every place in the area with no luck. I was having excruciating pain coming from my top left side which I suspected was an implant I had put in a year and a half prior. The rare part about it was that X-rays would show nothing was wrong which the Doctor took a look and said yeah looks fine. The problem was I had been having pain for months at this point almost a year. Long story short the doctor agreed let's just take it out and see what happens. As he was doing so I had pain while he was taking the screws out not sure if that is the proper terminology but he said that should not be happening I should not have any pain and I shouldn't feel anything since I was numb. The doctor said this was a very rare thing and that he had never seen it before everyone else I had seen prior said the same thing but they wouldn't take it out or had a long waiting time to get me in. I hope my problem is fixed and this was the issue but I am glad with zero hesitation doctor said I am going to help you today. I am very grateful. Truly recommend coming here if you have dental issues.

Fantastic experience: I needed six front teeth removed (upper arch) and then have implants done to replace them. I found Dr. Kim in Redondo Beach and selected him because of the description of his services and abilities on his web site and his patient reviews of those services. I could have had an oral surgeon do the implants but had the confidence that Dr. Kim do all of the necessary work. He did the extractions (without anesthesia) and it was done virtually painless for me. He then made me a temporary bridge for the 3 month period you wait for the implants to settle in. I didn't have to use a "flipper." Dr. Kim also replaced an existing partial for my bottom arch. He is simply a brilliant dentist who is very thoughtful, is a great communicator and has superior skills. To add to that, his staff is flat out top notch. They understand what it mean to provide superior service. I highly recommend that you consider Dr. Kim not only for dental services but implant services.
