Fantastic experience: Phenomenal care! 100/10!! We’re new to Bend and establishing care after living somewhere else for 15 years is no easy feat. I had to have an emergency procedure ahead of my regularly scheduled intake. The Dr. and staff were all exemplary. The kindness, care and sensitivity to a traumatic dental history and sensory issues was top notch. Feeling very grateful!

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental experience I have ever had. Unparalleled expertise and care. Dr Quigley found an issue missed by other dentists for years that clearly needed to be addressed. Great communication by the doctor and excellent care by the staff. Update - This was a long process that required braces, aligners, a temporary fix for teeth that chipped because they rubbed together and wore too thin. Got to the end of the process with a permanent fix and I am extremely happy with the results. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through this process but am very glad I did. Dr. Quigley is an artist when it comes to fixing teeth. Great attention to detail for optimum results and his staff is amazing.

Negative experience: I initially had a great experience with Bend Dental Wellness. I needed a crown and felt very comfortable with the doctor—he did a great job, and I was happy with the outcome. Unfortunately, things became confusing after that. During my consultation, I was told I could bring in my retainers to have them adjusted to fit my new crown. However, on the day of my procedure, my bill included a new set of retainers that had never been discussed with me. During the procedure, scans were taken, but I was not informed that these scans were for new retainers—I assumed they were part of the normal process. At my follow-up appointment to place the final crown, I was given the retainers. The bottom one did not fit properly, and I was told it would be remade. I explained that I had not been wearing my retainers consistently for a couple of weeks and that my teeth had shifted, so I was not comfortable using scans taken at that time. I also shared that I was unaware retainers were being made in the first place and specifically asked to have both my upper and lower teeth rescanned once my teeth were back in proper alignment. After reaching out to the office manager, I was initially told I would need to pay half to have them remade. After some back and forth, they agreed to remake both the upper and lower retainers as a "one-time courtsey". I then wore my retainers consistently for about three weeks before returning for new scans. However, at that appointment, only my upper teeth were scanned, and I was told the lower retainer was already made. I explained that I had confirmed with the manager that both upper and lower retainers would be remade, and even offered to show the email. The technician declined to review it, did not contact the manager or doctor, and instead asked me to try on an older lower retainer. That retainer was molded to my previously shifted teeth and was actively moving my teeth back out of alignment. When I raised this concern, I was told the discomfort was “normal” and that the retainer was fine. I had to repeatedly explain that wearing a retainer based on a misaligned impression could undo the results of my previous orthodontic treatment. This interaction was one of the most frustrating healthcare experiences I’ve had. I felt unheard, dismissed, and unsupported. The technician would not escalate my concerns, review documentation, or involve anyone else in the office. I contacted the manager again to request a refund. After a long delay in communication, I was informed that I was being dismissed as a patient, and that I was being refunded for the retainers. I was also told my records would be provided when I return the retainers; however, at that visit I only received imaging, and it untimely took over a month to recrive my full chart notes. I work in healthcare and understand that mistakes can happen, but this situation reflected a lack of communication, professionalism, and accountability. There was no follow-up from the doctor, no apology, and no attempt to resolve the issue—only a dismissal as a patient. Overall, I am very disappointed in how this was handled.

Fantastic experience: I am blown away by my experience today. Dr. Q is by far the most thorough and kind dentist I’ve ever met. He took the time to sit down and discuss every angle of my unique situation in detail. If all doctors invested this much time in their patients, the world would be a much healthier place. While previous dentists have been judgmental of my hesitancy toward certain treatments or my preference to avoid fluoride, Dr. Q offered grounded, less aggressive advice. I truly appreciate his holistic approach—he feels like a genuine ally for my overall health. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: We are moving to Oregon from Colorado and I was so happy to find a holistic dentist nearby us ! I called to make an appointment for my 8yo. They don't serve children under 12. No problem. But when I asked if they recommended a holistic-minded pediatric dentist, they said no and offered no help. I was SO disappointed!

And I've been very satisfied with my dental care for the past 3+years and will continue. Had a cleaning today with Mara and she was very gentle and thorough.

Negative experience: Absolutely disappointed in lack of communication/customer service and policies here. I had appointments scheduled for both of my kids almost 9 months out. At the time of scheduling I was told they see kids age 8+ (both my kids are in that range). We showed up at the time of their appointments to find they no longer see that age (now it’s 12+) and they had left me one single voicemail a couple of weeks back. No actual point of contact, no confirmation, no email, text, nothing but a single voicemail that got lost in the mix. To make things worse the receptionist quite frankly seemed aloof and confused about their policies when I asked when + why this change had taken place and why more effort wasn’t made to confirm the abrupt cancellation of this appointment. Will be immediately canceling my own future appointment and going elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment and all I can say is I’m impressed! The staff that helped me was super friendly. It was a consult and I didn’t have any treatments yet so I don’t have an opinion on that but i can tell they took really good care of me. I’m always scared of dental appointments and yet it was nice to be there, they told me beforehand what they were going to do and what I might feel, so I could be prepared for it. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time, took all the X-rays needed with protective vests. Dr Quigley explained all with details and planned the desired course of treatment by urgency, and I already have my appointment scheduled. Also the waiting room is beautiful. Definitely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: My recent experience with Dr. Quigley was to have 2 very old crowns replaced. One of the crowns ended up having an amalgam filling that needed to be removed. Dr. Quigley is highly experienced in safely removing amalgams, which is very important in preventing the exposure of mercury vapors or particles to the patient. Dr. Quigley is one of the gentlest dentists I have had. When he went to give the Novocain shot, I kept waiting for him to do it, and he was already done. I had zero pain after the procedure and days to follow. His assistant Jess did a great job with creating the temporary crown, and having to work with my small mouth. I highly recommend Bend Dental Wellness.

Fantastic experience: After 10 years of avoiding the dentist due extreme tooth sensitivity, I found Bend Dental Wellness earlier this year and have been so impressed with my experience. The quality of care provided is excellent and I’d even go as far as saying that I enjoyed the experience. There was zero pain throughout both my dental cleaning and several fillings that I needed. Dr. Quigley and his entire team are professional, friendly and an all-around pleasure to interact with. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Probably not but I like to think I’m paying for all the fancy gadgets and tools they use for my teeth. They also provide headphones and a soothing tv to watch something to distract during procedures. I would recommend them to anyone, but good luck getting an appointment in a timely manner!

Negative experience: They charged for an exam on my 6 year old that was never given. Also, they told me they would correct a crown they placed, but then sent me to a periodontist instead of fixing their work.

Fantastic experience: My brothers are both dentists in a different city. I grew up surrounded by dentists and dental offices. When I moved my family to Bend I worried that we may not find a new dentist who cares about our dental care as much as my brothers would. I also worried that unnecessary treatments would be recommended. When I entered Bend Dental Wellness and met Dr. Quigley and his team, my worries melted away. His space felt warm and inviting. The staff were kind and professional. Dr. Q communicated my dental care options clearly, and offered lower cost options to triage my needs before considering more expensive care that may be necessary. I have a good perspective of what to expect from a great dentist, and Bend Dental Wellness and Dr. Q are top notch!

Fantastic experience: Wow…from the moment I walked thru the door, I could tell this dental office was unique! Each moment afterwards was another confirmation of this fact! From extensive x-ray techniques, to plasma screens on the ceiling for patient entertainment, they have basic comfort needs covered! Dr. Q was very detailed in his exam, and offered digital photo images of my teeth so that he and I could both see the same thing (vs just seeing x-ray images that only healthcare professionals truly understand!) These points, coupled with an awesome staff, made this my best dental experience ever! My dental cleaning was another great experience! Extensive and thorough, Christine made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions that came up. Knowing I had a class to teach later that day, she offered the quickest ways to help the numbing agents wear off (which occurred just in time!!) My last rave on this review is for the Nimbus toothbrush they provide in their care package… WOW!! Most comfortable manual toothbrush I have ever used!! And it was so welcomed after my deep cleaning, as my electric toothbrush was a bit too rough for the first few days. Thanks team!! You’re all awesome!!

Fantastic experience: Long story short, I knocked my 2 front teeth out preparing for my lessons and had to get permanent caps. I never trusted nor went back to see any dentists because of the fear. I found Dental Wellness and the staff are beyond awesome in making me feel safe and comfortable. It's a journey ahead but I'm aboard. New endeavors.

Fantastic experience: I went in for my first appointment and Dr Quigley and his staff were very kind and welcoming. The entire appointment was a “getting to know you” type visit with a super thorough exam/assessment, including lots of photos for a record and visual to assure everyone is on the same page. They seem very concerned with making it a pleasurable experience and environment, wanting their patient to feel safe and at ease. I look forward to working with them. Update: I’ve now had two crowns with Dr Quigley. His staff continues to be pleasant and kind, with Tori at the front desk really shining as she worked nearly a year on a claim that was denied by my insurance. I experienced a lot of jaw pain after my first crown, which was beyond anyone’s control, but Dr Quigley clearly went out of his way to address discomfort and even personally followed up to check in. Definitely pleased with all experiences thus far :)
