Fantastic experience: This was my first visit and nothing was needed to be done. So I cannot give a review of any service provided. However, I was extremely impressed by the office and how beautiful it was. I’ve never seen any dentist office, with the exception of Sturgill’s Orthodontics, as beautiful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. And I was very impressed by Dr. Moore. He said I didn’t need any work done, but would keep an eye on a bridge I had done by my former dentist, and said to schedule a cleaning. That alone makes me trust him, as any other dentist could have found something for which to charge me.

Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth on 4-7-26 was very professional, friendly and informative. Her technique was careful and painless and she was always attentive to my treatment. She also took the extra time to explain the reasons why I would need 2 root canals while showing me the x-rays again. Dr. Moore was also very informative when I saw him during my last visit when I first viewed the xrays, but at that time, I was focused more on the fact ( shock) that I would need two root canal procedures so unfortunately I did not pay close attention to the x-rays. She explained them in a very professional informative manner that helped me to understand the necessity for the procedure. Kyla did a great job.

This was my first experience with him and I had been hit in the mouth with a softball and again I had never met the man But he told me that I could have called him when it happened and he would've met me at the office to help. It happened after their closing time and he didn't know me from Adam. Everyone I spoke with were great and seemed very eager to help me. Ill definitely be going back

Fantastic experience: I started going to Dr. Moore almost 2 years ago after relocating to TN. I am a Dental Hygienist and have worked in multiple states and with several Dentists. I am not currently working in the field of Dentistry, but if I were Dr Moore & his practice would be my first choice in the Tri Cities. It is extremely rare to find an office and practice with such high level of accuracy, genuine care, and knowledge. I and all of my extended family are have been or are now patients at his practice. I highly recommend with confidence, Dr. Moore, his staff, and practice to all! (I do know that some people I have referred have had a hard time getting through via phone call /voicemail make an appointment, don’t give up ! :) If need be. Maybe swing by the office on N Roan and pop in , there’s always someone at front desk to greet & schedule you)

Negative experience: I do not recommend. I had a crown added to a tooth that was cracked. The tooth in front was shaved down too much and the crown was placed by someone other than Dr. Moore. I have had nothing but trouble with it and it is extremely painful. This was a few years ago. After 20 minutes of having it put on my tooth, I had called and mentioned that it felt like it was floating up and down on my tooth. The woman responded not to worry about it, it would harden. Don't you have to gently bite on gauze until it hardens? She had an attitude when I called as well, as if I was bothering her. There were other issues as well concerning billing. Something just isn't right there.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Moore cares about your teeth and health above anything else. Great doctor and I appreciate having him as my Dentist. I bit on a hard nut and wanted him to drill on that tooth. He told me to have patience and it healed on it's own. He could have easily worked on the tooth. But he chose to conserve the tooth.

Fantastic experience: The only complaint I have is the “wait time” which is always at least 20 minutes. Not sure why appointments are so delayed. Revised: 3/6/2025 - the office seems to have resolved this problem. I am very pleased with Dr. Moore and all of his staff.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Moore's office on and off since I was a small child. The last decade or so I had been going to a different practice that my grandma had recommended. Recently, I kept running into issue after issue with the new doctor at that practice, so I decided to call and make an appointment with Dr. Moore once again. I don't know why I waited so long! I had forgotten how comfortable and welcoming the office was. The staff are all exceptional and warm. Everyone there really knows how to make you feel comfortable and cared for properly. Dr. Moore helped ease many anxieties I had going into my consultation. He made me remember why I used to love going to the dentist in the first place! After years of dental anxiety and trauma, I'm glad to say I'm finally back with a doctor that I know is going to look after my dental well being and not just their pocket books. If you are looking for someone who genuinely cares about their patients, and will do what is best for them long term. Look no further! Dr. Moore and his staff are on your side 110%!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Greg Moore in Johnson City was recommended to me by my sister in law who was once a dental hygienist, so I respected her input. I was in search of a new dentist and had my first visit yesterday. First, the scheduling process was a breeze. I called the office and even though new patient appointments are typically a longer wait, the receptionist took time to look for cancellations and was able to get me on the schedule the same week. I explained my concerns and she was patient and understanding in listening. She kindly gave me genuine reassurance. Text reminders were sent out along with the option of completing the paperwork via text link/online which is very convenient. The office was easy to find and easy to access. It is also very clean and inviting when you go inside. The biggest takeaway from my experience with the office staff was that they are genuine and you can tell they love their job. This makes all the difference for any customer that is new to a business and especially in one that can sometimes conjure anxiety for some people. The hygienist was amazingly friendly and without pretense. The word that keeps coming back to me with the entire staff and the doctor himself is: “genuine”. I didn’t feel rushed even though they were busy. The xrays went smoothly. The doctor came in and discussed clearly with me the next steps and asked if I had any questions. Again, just a completely valuable and pressure free experience and for the first time in my life I can say that I’m actually looking forward to going back to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Moore and staff are absolutely wonderful. I’ve been a patient with him for about 10 years now, and recently woke up with a horrible tooth ache. Even though they are completely booked for the month through the holidays, they squeezed me in for X-rays and a consult. I’m uninsured, so cost is a big factor for me these days. But I wouldn’t go anywhere else; Dr Moore and his staff’s treatment of me as a patient and a person have gotten me completely passed my fear of the dentist.

Dr Moore was very truthful and did not try to promote dental work that was not in my husband’s best interest. The hygienist was so patient with my elderly husband and told him before she did everything so he wasn’t startled. So fortunate that we have found this dental practice!!

Fantastic experience: After an accident at work left me with my 2 front teeth broken out, my work sent me to an oral surgeon who left my nerve hanging out of my mouth. By the grace of God my grandmother was getting her teeth cleaned at Dr. Moore’s office at the same time all of this was going on, and Dr. Moore calmed her down and told her to have me come to his office. So I left that oral surgeon’s office and drove straight there. Dr. Moore stayed after his office closed just to help me out. He basically did a root canal just so I wouldn’t be suffering in pain. I had my employer cancel everything that was scheduled by that oral surgeons office and the next day Dr Moore’s office got me in and gave me a temporary crown and veneer. He had me send him emails of pictures showing my teeth and had exact replicas made. You would never know my front teeth aren’t real today. That was in 2015 and I still only trust him with my teeth and will only come here from now on. To say he is the best dentist around wouldn’t be enough. He is a great dentist and an even better person for all that he’s done for me. I would tell anybody that needs a dentist to go to him!
