Fantastic experience: Last week I was privileged in having the best dental experience ever! I didn’t have a local dentist, but I had a back tooth in need of attention and I called a dear friend who referred me to Dr. Skladany as she and her family said he is the best and have been coming to him for over 26 years! I walked into the bright, cheerful office and introduced myself to Judy and Cathy at the front desk. They asked a few questions and gave me some forms to fill out and the next thing I knew, Jeannie, Dr. Skladany’s professional assistant took me to a lovely sunlit room and looked at my tooth situation and said Dr. Skladany would be right with me. He couldn’t have been more gracious in giving my situation his attention and he and Jeannie explained what needed to be done…I agreed and they proceeded with their exceptional work. I felt completely confident and came back the next day for completion and for further steps in upgrading my teeth health! I can’t say enough about the skill of the professional work I received!! Dr. Skladany was so kind and even took personal time the next day to call me and make sure I was doing well. I am so grateful my dear friend referred me to Dr. Skladany! He and his entire staff are wonderful and I look forward to seeing them next week for a little more work!

Fantastic experience: I broke a tooth just before Thanksgiving. I left a message even though I knew the office was closed for the holiday. Dr. Joe called me quickly. He was able to treat the tooth to prevent further damage and infection and so that I could eat turkey:). We scheduled an appointment for the Monday following Thanksgiving to permanently take care of the tooth. So Thankful for Dr. Joe.

Fantastic experience: From the first call to schedule the appointment throughout the entire process Dr Skladany and his staff were very kind. I had a great fear of needles, and hadn't been awake for a dental procedure for many years because I'd have IV sedation. Today, I had to have two teeth filled and couldn't have IV sedation, so I had to have two needles. Dr Skladaney was so gentle and professional, I never felt the needles. His nurse allowed me to squeeze her hand when the needles were being inserted. Everyone there is so pleasant even the receptionists. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have gotten better service/treatment. In the last few months had gone through a toothache due to an abscess around my back molar. Not amenable to fixing with a root canal. Tooth pulled and post placed by Dr Neilly. Then while eating a crunchy piece of 90% chocolate, I felt something really hard in my mouth. It was a part of one of my teeth. Oh no, I thought. I’m going to have to go through all that again. Called Dr. Skladany’s office the next afternoon after getting off work early. His secretary said come on over now. I get called back to the dental chair immediately. Within 20-30 minutes, I’m walking out of his office with my broken tooth fixed. Couldn’t have worked out better. Thanks Joe. I appreciated the great service.

Winner winner winner! 2024--here we are 2 years later and still a five star experience! Always a positive one from check in to check out. 2025---well now I can actually review Dr. Joe! Needed a root canal and a crown. Went to endodontist for root canal (Dr Corcoran...very nice) then back to Dr. Joe. I have (unfortunately) had many root canals crowns implants etc over my advanced years...I can say that this was one of the most PLEASANT PAINLESS experiences I have ever had. My thanks to the entire Dental Design team and especially to Dr. Joe.

Very clean office. Staff are super friendly. Everyone I recommend Dr Joe to has thanked me later. Dr Joe is an actual physician. I was told I needed all of my crowns replaced by another dentist who was a scam artist. Dr Joe told me that my crowns looked ok to him. That was 10 years ago and my crowns are still fine. He makes the crowns right there in his office and could have easily told me to replace them. He is honest and highly skilled.

Fantastic experience: There is a reason that I drive 1-1/2 hours to see Dr. Joe when I’m told there are plenty of fine dentists in Winston-Salem where I now live. love every aspect of his office from his kind reception staff to talented hygienists to the man himself who is never without a new Dad joke. On a serious note, he is the only dentist who has ever been successful at filling any cavities I have using Novocain only; with every other dentist, I have required sedation dentistry the day of and some kind of anti anxiety agent the night before the procedure. And then there is his Looney Tunes art collection which is worthy of its own visit. Thank you Dr. Joe and staff.
