Fantastic experience: I moved to Tulsa a year ago. I was given Dr. Hopper’s name and office from a friend. Like your General practitioner and hairstylist, your dentist is very personal and change is hard. I love this staff! They ask thorough questions and give you the answers you need. I have had two cleanings and a crown replaced. They are very efficient and the communication is exceptional at every term. They are very accommodating to your schedule. Dr. Hopper is genuinely interested in your (my) dental health. She explains things very clearly for not only the present visit but future steps that need to be taken. Everyone is so friendly. What a great experience!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Hopper's for 5+ years. She is by far the best dentist I have ever had and I have whole heartedly recommended her to family and friends. I grew up in CA and had several very good dentists and orthodontists in my past. One of them, in particular, also taught graduate classes at USC. I have experienced dental cleanings, fillings, and crowns at Dr. Hopper's and have been treated with care and a light hand. From numbing shots to the dental work itself, all is done with an absolute minimum of pain and maximum of expertise. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hopper for all of your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Hopper for about 10 years. As a matter of fact, my whole family uses her practice to care for our dental needs. I love coming to her office. Dr Hopper is the best dentist I ever had ( I can say that because I am on the line on the Golden Girls) Everyone is sooo friendly, patient and so welcoming. The ambiance puts you at easy. I, very strongly, recommend her practice. You will loooovvveeee them!!!

Negative experience: The dental office is beautiful, and the staff was good. However, I’m extremely disappointed with how I was misled when scheduling my first appointment at Hopper Dental. I specifically chose this office because it’s located in Jenks and confirmed during my initial call that they accepted my dental insurance. I provided my insurance information and was told they would review my plan and notify me if my cleaning wouldn’t be covered. I was encouraged to go ahead and schedule the appointment, and I never received any follow-up communication indicating there would be a cost for my "regular cleaning". Fast forward to my visit — the appointment itself went smoothly, and both the hygienist and dentist were great. Unfortunately, during checkout I was told that Hopper Dental is considered a “premium dental office,” meaning my insurance might not fully cover a standard cleaning. I was shocked, as I’ve never had to pay out-of-pocket for a routine cleaning before. I was later informed I now owe $77. This is puzzling to me since at my previous dental office, my insurance allotted cleanings every 3 months if I choose and owe $0. I also was told that I would receive a call back after someone looked into my account regarding the unexpected charge, received my invoice for what I owe and still no call back. Overall, I feel misled and disappointed by the lack of transparency. While the staff and care were excellent, I would caution others to ask very detailed questions about insurance coverage before booking to avoid unexpected costs.

Negative experience: Four times now I’ve been billed more than I expected without any explanation prior to treatment. Just received another invoice in the mail because they “estimated the insurance reimbursement incorrectly.” For a routine cleaning (should be free with insurance) I was treated with fluoride then charged $45 after the treatment. They told me no insurances cover this. I asked why I wasn’t given the option to decline or at least why this wasn’t explained BEFORE treatment. I received no real answer. STAY AWAY unless you like surprise invoices months after your treatment. I also still have pain from a crown they did months ago, but will end up paying somebody else to fix it. I will not return to Hopper Dental.

I stumbled upon Dr Hopper’s practice quite by accident—cutting through a neighborhood after dinner one evening, I initially mistook it for a house in the distance. As it turns out, it’s a dental office… and quite an excellent one at that! A quick look at their website gave me confidence in Dr. Hopper and her team, and I can now say firsthand that their care is top-notch. If you’re at all concerned about an all-female team handling your oral health, fear not—Charlie is on hand, keeping a watchful eye over things. He’s the man of the house. Those already under Dr. Hopper’s care will likely appreciate my humor, but in all seriousness, from the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. Their professionalism and warmth made my first visit a great experience. I just wish the NHS covered their care! Cheers to the team at Dr. Hopper’s and their leader, Charlie. woof!

Positive experience: So the work I had done with Dr Hopper was good and staff very kind but what upset me was I was told upfront that my copay would be $700 which is alot of money then after my procedure they call and I was maxed out on my insurance and Now I owe another $1000 Which they should of caught that before my procedure otherwise I would have waited till 1st of year. They absolutley would not give me a discount. I called Dental Dental and they ssid they did not call and confirmwith them. Very Disappointing

Negative experience: The service was fine and the staff was friendly during the visit. However, a "small copay" turned into over $400 out of pocket. They were also unwilling to offer any discount considering it was mainly self-pay. Don't trust any statements like "we file with that insurance all the time" or "you may owe a small copay" and verify with insurance first. I'll admit it was my fault for not checking with insurance first, but they absolutely could have offered a discount.
