Positive experience: Better experience than first time that we went in.

Fantastic experience: Their care for little ones goes above and beyond. My soon to be 3 year old had her teeth cleaned recently and they made it such a fun experience for her. So fun in fact, that she keeps asking me if she can go back!

Fantastic experience: Dr Alice is so kind and fun to the kids. Great dental care is a bonus! On the Cusp was recommended to me and I’m happy to recommend the practice to others.

Negative experience: My child is on the spectrum and we were waiting for over an hour and still weren’t seen. We ended up leaving and they never told us what was going on. Really poor communication and waiting that long is not acceptable for an autistic non verbal child who is already anxious.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was nice and the doctor was super nice she explained everything to me in real good detail to make sure I understood what was going on and what needs to be done. Hoping to keep my son there as a patient when a spot comes available.

Fantastic experience: We are so beyond grateful to have had Dr.Alice and her team treat my daughter who had to have some caps and a tooth extraction. We went to on the cusp after a terrible experience at a different dentist who wanted to put 2 times the amount of caps that were needed on my child. On the cusp made me feel heard about my concerns and agreed she didn’t need that many. I was also really worried about having to put my daughter under anesthesia but the team was amazing, making us all feel very comfortable and talking me through every cavity and every step of the process. Dr.Alice herself is super sweet and knowledgeable we will definitely use on the cusp for all of our kids moving forward. ❤️

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love On The Cusp Pediatric Dentistry, it was easy to make an appointment, I was given a quick appointment and staff is so friendly and just overall great. Dr.Alice Wiley is always so bubbly and sweet and made my daughter feel so comfortable and at ease. We went in to replace a crown that popped out and the replacement was so easy and quick. I’m so thankful for everything they do. 100% recommended.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly and sweet and did a fantastic job on my baby’s tongue tie release. She was so gentle and kind and we absolutely loved her!

Negative experience: Brought my daughter here as a referral from our normal dentist. The one we usually go to referred her due to 4 teeth being an issue. We get there and they start to do her exam. Did nothing to attempt to calm her anxiety even after I stated that she was nervous. Shes freakin’ 5, having real tooth pain for the first time and has all these people digging in her mouth. The xray lady hadn’t even actually tried to get the xray yet before my daughter said she had to potty. The lady then looks at me and says loudly enough for her to hear “if she cant get the xrays done she’ll just have to undergo full sedation and get all of her dental work done at the same time” somehow i convinced my girl to try to hold it as shes nearly peeing herself in the chair, she rushes through the extremely BLURRY xrays, and then sprints to the bathroom. We go back to the room, the dentist comes in and at first all seemed fine, she then states something about every single tooth to the assistant. Tells me absolutely nothing. She made it seem like the work she needed done was extremely urgent and didn’t necessarily give me any information. Told me my daughter had already lost 2 of the front baby teeth and argued with me when i said she didnt. She just told me they had to come out or she had to do crowns, said that the tooth she was having a problem with just had to come out. Said she had to do sedation and gave me no options or explanations. Then proceeded to argue with me about whether i’d have another person with me when her surgery date was scheduled. Of course I questioned this because i never had my other parent at any of my dentist appointments or procedures, i told them if they were requiring me to have her dad there then i needed enough notice to make sure he could get the day off from work. She then tells me they could possibly call me beforehand with an earlier appointment, i told her “if you want me to have 2 people there, I can’t last minute do that, if you stop telling me I cant do it alone then I can have her there any day or time” She then insinuated questioning the care i have for my daughter, by telling me she was keeping her on the urgent list regardless “because shes having some pain and you’d want to deal with that RIGHT?” Lady. Yes, i would love for her not to be in pain, but if you want two parents there i cant help ya. He's gotta work. I then get ushered into the room behind the exam room, get rushed through paperwork that I couldnt even tell you what it said right after I walked out. Got in the car and opened the folder because at this point i’m livid. I read the treatment plan and the list was so long I was confused. They listed TWELVE crowns. A few white crowns but a majority of silver. Didnt even ask me if I wanted her to have white or silver. Didnt tell me they planned on doing 12 freakin’ crowns either. I left with little to no information, PISSED off because this lady had the nerve to not listen to a word im saying regarding MY kid. We left around 3:15 pm. (Important) They wanted her to see her pediatrician for a physical BY 1/14, the day we went was 1/8. By 9 am the day after they were calling me for the physical on 1/9. -_- By then my husband, other family members and I had fully agreed it had to be bs. So we scheduled with a different dentist for the following monday. 1/12 Less than half of the work required, only 3-4 crowns, AND they actually asked me questions about the tooth that was bothering her plus gave me tips on how to keep it safe until monday. They’ve been so transparent with me that 5 different people have confirmed her treatment plan ten times I LOVE IT. Long story short, On the cusp $2485 in dental work that I wasn’t informed of to the full extent. Little tooth co $1200 and I’ve been informed every step of the way and actually had OPTIONS. AND they made her feel so much more comfortable and made everything enjoyable for her

Fantastic experience: We took our two year old for her first dentist visit. I was pretty nervous about what to expect, but we were recommended On the Cusp by our pediatrician. All worries were for nothing, it was a great experience. The staff, hygienist, and doctor were all amazing and so patient. They didn’t make us or our daughter do anything outside of our boundaries and focused on making sure our daughter felt safe. I’ve already recommended them to other friends with toddlers!

Positive experience: Really expensive even with insurance. Also oversedated my child- didn’t tell me not to let her go to the bathroom alone minutes after sedation- She fell face first in the hallway returning from bathroom, I saw very little concern from the staff.

Negative experience: Worst dentistry ever not even worthy of one single star! They didn’t treat my sons cavities correctly and caused him to have Abscesses in multiple Teeth that they supposedly fixed now months later it cause my son to have to get them extracted all because of poor and uneducated work ! Horrible horrible I don’t wish this pain on any kid my son has been miserable

Positive experience: Friendly staff, clean environment, and awesome child-safe dentist. They’re great! However, if you’re looking for a more holistic practice, keep looking. My newly 2-year-old was diagnosed with 2 cavities, and the only thing doctor recommended was implementing fluoride toothpaste. Great for most people, we simply choose to omit the usage of fluoride due to recent studies published of the harm of fluoride, especially to children.

Fantastic experience: We were referred out to cusp because another dental office could not get my child to do X-rays or exam. But cusp was so great with my child they got X-rays and exam done! The front staff all the way to dentist were outstanding! I can not recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: This place is truly amazing. From the minute you walk in you feel so welcome! It didn't take long at all to get into a room, the assistants are knowledgeable and kind, the dentist is quite literally the easiest person to talk to. He takes everything you say serious and doesn't pressure you to do anything for your child. The cute therapy dog is a plus! We love this place!

Fantastic experience: I had the BEST experience with On The Cusp’s office staff as a whole while they diligently, thoroughly, and patiently took care of my 4 year old son who has a medical condition and special needs. My son was immediately cared for and they squeezed us in multiple times short notice to get eyes on him which helped catch an infection early, I was continuously updated regarding surgery scheduling -as it had to be done inpatient at the hospital under anesthesia for my kiddo, and I felt listened to by most of the providers we saw. Connor in particular was my main point of contact and one of the main reasons I felt much more at ease , and therefore my son did as well, while having to walk back into the hospital for the countless time. He couldn’t have been more kind and patient with my numerous calls/questions, and spent at least a couple hours in total over the past several months answering my questions, calls, calling me with updates on scheduling surgery etc. and never once did Connor rush me off the phone, make me feel as “endearingly annoying” as I know I was at times, and even followed up with me after my son’s procedure to ensure everything went well etc. Their entire staff was incredibly welcoming and nice, so sweet and patient with my son, and I’m very lucky to have found them. Connor was the star of the show for us, but nearly everyone working there treated us like family the 4 times we have had to go into the offices (“had to”…more like they made time and space to squeeze my son in…because they care!) Couldn’t recommend them more…and my son agrees as they have “fun toys” in the lobby and the treasure box he gets to visit after seeing the doc are all he seems to care about when we go in…and that beats an anxious kiddo all day long. It just shows how they go the extra mile for their patients. Thank you, again, Connor and On The Cusp!

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but good things to say about On The Cusp! Dr Roberts was extremely thorough and patient despite our little one crying through the whole consultation. He made sure we understood the treatment plan and even allowed me to nurse right after her tongue/lip tie release in their lactation room. I will be recommending them to friends and family and will continue to take my daughter there for future visits!

But they handled him with great care; this was one of the best experiences that we could have had. I really appreciate how they work with him to try to make it the best experience for him.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend on the cusp for any kiddos but especially the ones that get really anxious at the dentist. The staff is amazing! They have small offices right off the exam rooms that they will discuss the harder topics in private with only the parents to ensure kids don’t hear the adult version. They are also very flexible with scheduling! One thing I wish- their referrals went easier.

Positive experience: I took my son to on the cusp Harvard location for a second opinion the dr that seen my son was wonderful she gave me great advice on what types of toothpaste , was very thorough and gentle with my son. I mentioned to her and the tech that I wanted to keep my son at this location after his procedure , they had both said yes absolutely! So we did the surgery and the drs who performed the surgery were great! Very kind gentle , and kept me calm every moment they could to update me!! The next day I realized my son was not scheduled for a check up so I called and spoke to amber and asked her If he needed to be seen for a follow up, she stated no and I told her I needed to schedule for 6 months out to do his cleanings and check up she stated that due to the insurance that I would need to find another option for check up’s… which shocked me because that’s not what I had been told, so I said okay well thank you but it does state on the website that they do, do cleanings and ortho up to a certain age and also that I had mention to the tech and the Dr we had seen that I wanted to keep him there and they stated yes absolutely! Amber stated once again well yes due to your insurance we will need you to go see someone else for cleanings … and I kindly said okay thanks so much its disappointing that I made sure that I asked these questions upon scheduling his appointment and after his appointment and I also made sure the website said the same thing. But I thank her again and kindly hung up! I just wish I understood the insurance issue bc I did call his insurance company and it states that they do in fact cover everything for on the cusp! So I am still searching for a dentist office that takes my sons insurance and has great reviews!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter in (18 months) because she is needing some dental work done. The assistant was wonderful with her, along with my three other kiddos I had with me. The dentist we saw was great as well. We had an amazing experience over all and will definitely be going back!

Fantastic experience: Lovely building and very sweet staff. They showed my child excellent care and answered any questions she had or explained or showed her what they were doing. They were very considerate to her as well as to me in regards to her treatment plan. Reception area is very kid friendly but also adult friendly as well.

Negative experience: Got here 20 mins early to my appointment because sometimes you can get seen a bit sooner if you arrive early, wellllll since ive been here (still sitting in the lobby as I write this) there has been 3 other people called back including a “walk in” technically bcuz the lady’s appt was for tomorrow but they said they can see her today it’ll just be a bit of a wait well guess they gave her wait time to me, then someone else walked in and not even 5 mins later they took them back lol Everyone seems nice just the check in procedure or how ever they do it is messed up, going on a 30 month wait… will update after the visit Update dr Meg and assistant were great will definitely be coming back and recommending… get the check ins together tho thank you guys

Fantastic experience: They care so much for their tiny patients. My son (8 months and 3 weeks) had a frenectomy preformed and they did so well explaining how after care should be and all the ins and outs of what we’d expect.

Fantastic experience: The best experience!!! I was so scared to bring my autistic daughter here but with several parent recommendations and a wonderful staff it was an awesome experience!!! Everyone there took great care of us and made me feel comfortable about sedation dentistry to fix a cavity for my non verbal baby girl! I couldn't be more grateful!!!! Fantastic experience: What a truly easy and seamless process Connor made for us from start to finish for myself and my daughter. We came to on the cusp for a second opinion after another dentist recommended an extensive amount of dental work. Dr. Meg took great care and time letting us know what was needed and what was not. I would recommend OTC to any families wanting a dentist they can trust!!!

My son does not do well at doctor offices so I knew going to the dentist for the first time was going to be challenging but she was nice and was patient with him. Overall it was a positive experience and will recommend to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: My little is 4 y/o. This was her second experience at a dentist and this establishment superceded all expectations. It wasn't rushed, very child centered and catered. From the lobby, to the brush center to rinse off your teeth, to the tiny fridge with tiny waters for the children, to the streamline way the entire office is set up. The environment is positive, bright, and the staff deserves 10 stars. My little is very much on the intuitive side and is very receptive and they were so kind and wonderful with her. Highly recommend ♡

Fantastic experience: Special needs families this is a gem. Dr. Roberts is a kind, patient, and excellent doctor. He was able to conduct our autistic sons exam in a speedy and non stressful way for everyone involved. His staff was also very welcoming and understanding of my sons limitations. We were afraid we would have to use sedation but it wasn't necessary. We were able to conduct the examination in an adjacent room that was less intimidating to my son. I could not recommend this place more.

Negative experience: My 8 yr old had a top back tooth extraction there yesterday and a large spacer put in. Immediately after the surgery, my son was complaining that it was hurting him. It was pushing down onto his bottom gums. The doctor didn’t look at it but had the nurse tell us that in these situations, they just send you home and if it’s still hurting in the morning we can call and let them know. He was hurting all evening and his bottom gums are swollen from the large spacer pushing down onto them. We called first thing this morning and their response was that it must be a new bottom molar coming in and has nothing to do with the extraction yesterday. They said there would be out of pocket fees if we were to bring him back in. We were very clear before we left yesterday that he was in pain and they refused to look at it and sent him home. They are now charging us to look at it less than 24 hours after we paid them $600 yesterday. In the picture, you can see the spacer on top they put in yesterday and where it’s rubbing onto his bottom gums. He can’t close his mouth fully.

Fantastic experience: My infant son had a lip tie fixed, dental offices have always made me nervous, but the team at On the Cusp were very kind and helpful, and their lactation nurse is wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I have an autistic 6-year-old nonverbal that used to grind a lot first time coming to the dentist and couldn't believe how courteous and great they were with her I totally recommend

Negative experience: Make sure they take your insurance before wasting your time. We met with Roberta to discuss our just over 1 month old child’s options for what’s called tongue, lip, & cheek tie (due to difficulty eating, breathing, & sleeping). We were spoken down to as if we didn’t do prior research & were not medical professionals throughout the whole consult (almost like there was no reason for us to be there & we were being dramatic toward the issue). Upon inspection of our child’s mouth, it was confirmed there were a few severe issue that needed to be addressed quickly (we weren’t being dramatic). The tone then changes to almost disgust as to why we “waited so long to come in”. To which we reminded her, their office was to blame for not being able to get us in until over a month after the problem was noticed. After the demeaning line of questioning & attitude, we finally get to the recommendation of medical procedure to fix the issue & go through their insane schedule to find a day that “maybe” works (they’d call to confirm because they only do this type of procedure on Thursdays & the procedure scheduler only works 3 days a week) only to find out they do not take our insurance so the whole procedure would be out of pocket. Total waste of time & further dent in the parental department. Just our experience, please research & come to your own opinion.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Wiley did amazing on my baby girls teeth and was very informative about her procedure! Absolutely recommend! We had soonercare and had a referral to her!

Negative experience: Definitely DO NOT recommend. My son was supposed to only get 4-6 crowns done and maybe one tooth pulled on the top teeth and the dentist said he would let us know if there was any changes he would have the nurse come let us know. My son came out after his procedure with two teeth removed and 14 crowns!!! And they told us AFTER the procedure was done!! All but 4 of his bottom teeth have crowns and nothing was wrong with his bottom teeth. Definitely will never go back!!! And the dentist wouldn’t even come talk to us after the procedure!!! Do not take your kids here.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service overall! Everyone was so good with both of our kids, even though only one of our two kiddos was getting their teeth cleaned & checked out. We really appreciate them interacting & making sure that they weren’t scared .

Fantastic experience: Very well organized, I was given a tour and also they gave me a gift for my first visit there. Such an amazing facility and straight to the point. Also I love how they greet you at the door and make sure you have everything you need and all the questions you can think of will be answered.
