Negative experience: Enters the front door as a new patient. First impression? The front desk thing greets me with an attitude. Clearly, already pissed about something. Observed her bickering with her coworker like a child, rude to her as well. Rude, unprofessional, unfriendly, and acted incompetent when I suggested 3x I'd just reschedule. She'd rather tell me about all the texts and paperwork they sent, like her personal life hinged on my having already completed it. Ma'am I am not your child, thank you lord. Learn how to act in a client service job position. You aren't the one for it. Eeew.

Negative experience: I have been a patient for 3 years! Went in for a filling yesterday, Dr Decker and dental assistant treated me like I was being a big baby when they hit a nerve numbing my mouth that sent electrocution shock sensations to the entire underside of my tongue! No apology given!

Negative experience: Will run your insurance up !!! They only care about money!!! When I was training in a different department at my job, I explained that I wouldn’t know my schedule, They scheduled me anyway and told me to just cancel if I wasn’t able to make it and then charged me a cancellation fee!!! Once I explained that over the phone And told them I would never pay that, they quit sending me the bill and send it to my wife now who has never been there in her life!!! This place is a joke……

Fantastic experience: I just switched to Dr. Howe a few months ago. I have had a lot of work done since then, including two crowns, two root canals, and four fillings. The most pain I’ve felt has been when I get the shot of Novacaine and that hasn’t been very bad at all. I have heard horror stories about root canals, but I never felt one ounce of pain or discomfort during the procedure. Doctor Howe and his staff are extremely caring, courteous, and kind. They would ask me if I was feeling any discomfort or needed to take a break during the longer procedures. They genuinely care about their patients. I highly recommend them.

With my dental issues related to auto accident many years ago I have ongoing pain in my jaw, teeth, and gums. Negative experience: Was very disappointed to say the least. I had a tooth fall out of dentures, I glued it back in temporarily until I could get to dentist. I was seen by the dental personnel first and then dentist that took 10 minutes to tell me they would have to send to lab to fix denture. The cost would be $408 which had to be paid today. Without insurance I had to decline the repair as I’m retired. Then find out office visit was $118 for 10 Minutes of the dentist time. I will never return, I know costs have gone up but to charge a senior $118 for an office visit for me was ridiculous!

Negative experience: I had a failed root canal that needed to be redone. The staff at Howe Dental provided a price quote for the procedure several weeks in advance, and I agreed to it. After completing the procedure, I was shocked to be billed twice the amount that had been originally quoted. This felt like an egregious case of bait-and-switch. To make matters worse, the staff threatened to withhold the completion of the bridge unless I paid the amount in full. After contacting my insurance company to investigate this billing issue, the office manager sheepishly admitted that they had “accidentally” double-charged me. I have no proof that this was deliberate, but I suspect that this is not the first time something like this has happened. I want to be clear that Dr. Trisha Mullins and her assistant, Daniel, were kind, professional, and thorough, and I truly appreciated their care. Unfortunately, the front office staff were rude and unprofessional, which made the overall experience extremely unpleasant and stressful. I strongly recommend finding better front office staff to represent the practice and provide a more positive experience for current and future patients.

Fantastic experience: My procedure for the dental implant post was fairly fast and I really didn’t experience any discomfort during any part of the procedure. Compared to 2 previous root canal’s that I had done in another state today’s procedure resulted in far less discomfort and pain. It has now been 8 hours since the procedure was completed and I am experiencing little to no pain. The doctor and the staff were great, very professional. Thanks to all!!

Fantastic experience: Very kind people to have in your mouth. Im very sensitive when it comes to teeth pain, and they have always been very gentle and caring about that aspect. Respectful, reasonable pricing, and very good at what they do. I had an issue where I needed 3 teeth capped. Of course I wanted to be special and have a long rail of gold over those teeth. They obliged my request and it came out beautifully.

Negative experience: I had a tooth that broke and it also had a failed root canal. Dr Decker pulled it out along with an abscess and did a bone graft for an implant. An hour after this procedure a stitch came out. She had me come in right away and she restitched and put me on an antibiotic. She did not re-numb me correctly the second time and I only felt like my tounge was half numb. Over the next 3 days all of the stitches came out. I did not use straws. On the third day I had an ear ache and sinus ache. I was in so much pain that tylonal and ibuprofen didn’t cut it anymore. The bone graft had also come out partially. Dr Howe rechecked the area by the 4th day because Dr Decker was not available. I was in so much pain that I was crying but Dr Howe only prescribed a very low dose of a pain medicine. Dr Howe said the area looked bruised and put the graft back in place and prescribed a second antibiotic. I did not feel compassion for the pain and I felt like I was treated as a drug addict. I was due for a recheck with Dr Decker by the end of the week but I canceled because I felt significantly better. I also had some trust issues. Dr Decker sent me a certified letter by mail saying she would not see me anymore because I had concerning behavior and I said I took 2 pain pills at once instead of 1. I called and said I was doing this because one did not help after 2 hours. ( I thought that what I did was OK when I asked a friend who was a nurse that I worked with.) Dr Decker was on the defensive and probably covered herself legally because she knew she had poor work performance. Going to the dentist is hard enough and I struggled with anxiety. I even felt like I was so nervous that I acted differently. This was extreamly painful on so many accounts. This was my first encounter with this office and last. Now the next step is an implant in about 5 months and I have to find a new dentist.

Negative experience: I used to love this dentist office. I left for a few years came back to Dr Howe and noticed he had a new dentist Dr Decker. She was only filling a cavity and now I am in a hospital in columbus where I had to under go actual surgery on my mouth cause the infection. The numbing she did to me didn't feel right. Very disappointed with this practice.

Fantastic experience: I wish I I would have come here sooner for my dental work. I highly recommend Dr Decker and the rest of the staff at this office. They are gentle and kind and I'm super impressed and happy with the work they have provided. I have had some bad experiences with dentists in the past that I have lost faith.
