I recently received treatment with Invisalign to correct a shift in my teeth and am very pleased. Dr. Ritholtz and Maria were very thorough throughout the process and communicated well to achieve the best results. Fantastic experience: I recently cracked a crown. Ashford Dental slotted me into an emergency appointment. Dr. Koos and her team did an amazing job of assessing the condition of the underlying tooth, removing the bits of crown that remained, prepping the tooth, and installing a temporary crown. They were fabulously patient and made the process remarkably painless. I look forward to the installation of the permanent crown in a day or so. This is what dentistry should be.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been looking for a new dental office, and I’m so happy a friend recommended this location. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean and welcoming the space was. It has a very intimate and comfortable feel, which I really appreciated. The office is also very easy to get to, and parking was simple, which makes a big difference. The front desk staff was friendly and professional, and the whole team made the experience feel smooth and organized. What stood out to me the most was how the dentist took her time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed and felt like she really walked me through what was going on and what to expect. Overall, I had a great experience, and I’m so happy to say this will be my new dental office.

Negative experience: I have been going to Ashford dental for many years. My experience with Dr. Chaudry, Samantha and Kiana have been good ones. Today I went for an extraction under Dr Yuhan Kim when I stopped him on his third local anesthetic injection to ask him how many more, he got upset. He left partially numb, refused to treat me and told me to seek another dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Steven Ritholtz. I enjoyed that I did not need to go in the office as frequently as with braces. The doctor was very responsive through the Invisalign app where I uploaded photos and got his comments and instructions. When I did go into the office all the staff was extremely sweet. Dr. Ritholtz always answered all my questions and made me feel confident and content after every visit. After my initial treatment I had some little imperfections that I wanted to adjust and he adjusted my treatment plan and we did a few more trays. I’m extremely happy with the outcome of my teeth and would recommend to anyone who is considering Invisalign.

Negative experience: I was quoted one price two weeks ago. I confirmed this quoted price twice including within the last 48 hours. On Friday afternoon, less that 24 business hours before my appointment they doubled my quoted price. They said the insurance would pay me $1200 (half the cost) but how was this only discovered 24 hours before my appointment. Ashford dental blamed the insurance company but Ashford quoted me and had weeks to check on this price. This may be due to the insurance company but they did not decide this in the last 24 hours! Ashford dropped the ball, no one else. It’s great they take zero responsibility! Go elsewhere

Fantastic experience: Went in on a couple of days notice over the holidays due to tooth pain. It turned out no work was needed - just an antibiotic. Glad that the team at Ashford quickly determined what was wrong and prevented needless dental work!

Positive experience: Efficient and excellent service! One complaint: They recently started charging 3% extra when using a credit card. I think that detracts from the "professional" atmosphere of the practice. It's not a local pizzeria. Many health-related debit-type cards do not cover dental work, checkbooks are largely gone, and getting large sums of currency is impractical. The usual solution: pay by credit card...now 3% extra.

Professional office (front desk politely takes the time to explain billing), a diligent and kind hygenist and a dentist that did NOT tell me I needed to spend thousands of dollars on unnecessary procedures. Dr. Chaudry was down to earth and a good listener.

Negative experience: Avoid this place at all cost. They did a filling for me 2-3 years ago and it caused me a lot of discomfort. At that time, i thought it was okay and bearable even though it was very hard to floss becausea tone of food would get stuck there. I thought it was okay, believing they they a good job anyways. But over two year it got worse and worse to the point it caused a lot of bleeding and inflammation. I went back for cleaning today and two people who saw the filling quicky confirmed that it wasnt done properly and apologized to me. Yet, they didnt offer to fix it and saw it as another opportunity to charge me even more, completely disregarding the discomfort and the damage to my teeth and gum their maltractice might have caused. They already breached my trust and had audacity to neglect their past mistake and charge me even more for what they have caused!! And when i explained my situation to their admin person, she wasnt sympethetic and got upset with me and refused to listen to my case with patience, ignoring the pain i have been suffering. Unbelievable!! All they care about is profit and not their patients. Even when they make a mistake, they apologize and yet do nothing about it

Fantastic experience: I was extremely pleased with the Invisalign service I received from Ashford Dental. Initially, my consultation was conducted via video conference with Dr. Steven which was convenient for me. Afterwards, I visited the office and the Invisalign process began. Scans/pictures were taken and within a couple weeks, I received my Invisalign trays. Here I am almost 6 months later and I have now completed my Invisalign treatment. My teeth are straight and I now love my smile. Thank you very much Dr Steven and staff. Your professionalism did not go unnoticed. HS

I was very unhappy with two other dentists; one in White Plains and the other in Scarsdale, NY. Not all dentists the same great service. Ashford Dental, Dobbs Ferry, NY is a better service and I use it. I'm now 72 years old and I have all my original teeth that I credit much to Ashford Dental, Dobbs Ferry, NY. One Love, move in peace and in ease.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient at Ashford, I have to say this place was super efficient and made the process of getting started so easy. My hygienist, Jane, was incredibly skilled and I felt zero pain or poking during my cleaning. I hadn’t had films in a while and found a pretty substantial cavity in one of my molars. Dr. Ritholtz took care of it the same day! Very pleasant experience. The vibe of the office is incredibly relaxed and I felt really safe and cared for.

Fantastic experience: I recently went through the Invisalign process with Dr. Ritholtz and had a great experience. I started the process in November and finished in early May. They walked me through each phase of the process, and answered all of my questions. I’m so pleased with the results (not only from a cosmetic perspective, but I also saw an improvement with the health of my gums)

Negative experience: Have been a patient of the practice before being Ashford Dental. Had my cleaning done by the hygienist she was so gentle and caring. The doctor was not pleasing at all. She came in to the exam room did not introduce herself. I don’t even know her name! She did a quick exam then said “you can make an appointment to check your retainer yeah whatever” left the room and went on to the next room. I guess that’s how doctors practice nowadays.

The hygienist who's name was Christine has the best bedside manor I have ever had with any hygienist EVER. As a rule I hate the dentist because in the past it's been painful but this was different and my first good dental visit ever!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I called Ashford Dental for two reasons a cracked tooth and possibly a regular Dental practice. I found both. it was determined by Dr. Koos a crown was needed, an hour and half later it was done, crown installed. My interaction with the entire staff was a pleasure. Dr. Koos, dental assistant Briana, office manager Samantha and receptionist Jennifer. I now have follow up appointments and would recommend this office.

Fantastic experience: I did Invisalign here and it was super easy. It took less time than I thought (though I was really careful about wearing my trays for the full 22 hrs a day) and my teeth look great. The staff also worked with me on a payment plan. Overall, very pleased with my experience.

Negative experience: It was very unfortunate to find a new dentist because I liked the hygienist. The office staff need coaching on how to handle cancellations. Instead of picking up the phone and calling me to let me know the hygienist called out sick, they felt a text would suffice. I traveled 30 minutes to this appointment only to be turned away. A simple call to me would’ve kept me as a client because I understand people get sick. Now, because of their unprofessional practices I had to find another dentist. What a waste.

The staff is still there and they continue to be knowledgeable, kind and responsive. I broke my partial cap on Halloween candy and they were able to fit me in that day! Then I got to meet the wonderful Dr. (Steven) Ritholtz. He was very informative about what was going on with my teeth and even filled a cavity for me! (Painlessly!) Him and his assistant kept making sure I was comfortable. Everyone had great bedside manners! Even the ladies at the front desk were great!! It was the best trip to the dentist I have ever had! Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Ashford dental for quite some time. Four or five years at least. I recently went there for tooth pain and received a procedure for some temporary relief and then a root canal and crown from Dr. Koos . Quite honestly, the best chair side Manor I’ve ever experienced from a dentist in my life. Sarah, a very sweet receptionist is always there to help and Samantha, The office manager is so helpful you would think your family. She actually helped me not only find payment options that suited my lifestyle, but went above and beyond when I needed more procedures to see that I was taken care of, and making the best choices possible. After a small infection developed I was a little nervous and Dr Koos has seen me two times and personally called to check on me since then for free just to make sure everything is smooth and healing wonderfully. I will not mention anything about pricing because that is per customer and per insurance. But I will tell you that any amount of money you spend at this office is worth the customer service, the customer care, and the attention to details when it comes to making sure that you were satisfied, safe, and feel supported. And there is nothing in the world more important than that when seeing a medical professional. If I could give more than five stars, I would… unequivocally the best dental experience I’ve ever had in my life!

Fantastic experience: I’m 70 years old and Jane was the gentlest dental hygienist I’ve ever experienced. And it’s true that Dr. Kim has a feather-light touch.

Negative experience: Appointment booking Calvary. Dr. Zedeker's reception staff lacks empathy and commitment to their clientele. They blame incorrect appointment bookings or rescheduled appointments on system errors. At my last appointment, after confirming the appointment, I received two messages: the first, a few days later, canceling the appointment, and the second message confirming the appointment a few minutes after the first message. When I showed up for the appointment, they simply told me that the system had malfunctioned and a confirmation was sent, even though the appointment had been canceled. Note: No one had called me to apologize for the conflicting messages and offer another day and time. They simply took no action other than blaming the system. Patients, in this case a child, are not a priority for Dr. Zedeker's front desk.
