Positive experience: My visit to Great Road Dental was a great experience. The cleaning was quick, easy, and comfortable. The dentist and dental hygienist were both very knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. They also provided me with a clear plan for my dental care moving forward. I’m very happy with my experience and would highly recommend Great Road Dental.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to my new dental practice and my new dentist, Dr. Kanbar. It was smooth and painless! Vicky worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover the cleaning and guided me through the process of transferring my previous dentist's XRay records to them. Rosa, my hygienist was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing, which made the entire cleaning stress free. Dr. Kanbar gave me some valuable advice on getting an implant done, and I was really happy to know he will do it and I don't need to go anywhere else. Highly recommend Great Road Dental!

Fantastic experience: So, I honestly do not like the dentist BUT that being said, my dental hygienist Rosa in particular always does an amazing job with my dental cleaning because she is very thorough and very honest with me on the things I need to do, not always fun to hear but I need to hear it! And Dr. Kanbar is also very thorough and efficient when it comes to my dental needs. What I also love is how I am treated from the minute I walk in and get greeting by Vicky and the receptionists to the moment I leave ♥ thank you all for making something so (not very pleasant) be a pleasant experience !!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I both went to Dr.Kanbar With the hope of getting quality dentures. Not only was his staff, exceptional, prepared and knowledgeable about quotes from our insurance and how much everything really costs. Dr. Kanbar took the time and was very honest about what would work and what we should do. Getting dentures, especially two separate pairs at one time is an expense to say the least - Dr. Kanbar was able to work with us and manage to put together a reasonable option.

Fantastic experience: This was my third visit to Great Road Dental. I'm someone who is apprehensive about dental work, and each time Dr K, Vicky and their team set me at ease and provided excellent care. I can honestly say they care about my health - not just one tooth, but the entire mouth - and make a strong effort to come up with a concrete plan to keep everything in tip-top shape. It's straight talk with a heart, and they do an efficient, excellent job when it's time for repairs. Very thankful to have found Great Road, and recommend them for your teeth. What a relief!

Fantastic experience: As a skittish dental patient, I was eager to have a wonderful introduction to Great Road Dental, with the most thorough yet gentle cleaning by Rosa, invaluable advice from Vicky, and an edifying consultation with Dr. Kanbar about future treatment options. I began the process of acquiring two implants this Fall [2025]. Though I was nervous as a cat, I'm relieved and gratified that it was infinitely easier than I'd feared, not at all painful, and the recovery was miraculously swift. Dr Kanbar is thoroughly modern, using software (rather than impressions) to custom-tailor the implant design. update: July 2026 After healing completely, I had my two implants "installed" yesterday. As promised, the procedure was absolutely painless and took ~10 minutes, including an X-ray. I must add that in the interim, I had a dreadful toothache [unrelated to the implants!] that necessitated a root canal. Dr Gopal diagnosed and treated me very well, too. I heartily recommend Great Road Dental, especially to wary patients!

Positive experience: Friday, July 1, 2022 I had a Hygienist appointment with Linda and think she was again, very thorough and professional as usual. On these appointments I usually also am seen for a short review by Dr. Kanbar, but he wasn’t there on this occasion. I would highly recommend both professionals. Friday, March 27, 2026 I had a Hygienist appointment with Ross. My first time with her and she was very thorough, pleasant and professional. I switched my appointments from Wednesdays to Fridays so I could be seen by Dr. Kanbar, my Dentist. Vickey, the Receptionist, is still there doing a great job, but is now working to replace herself so she can retire.

Fantastic experience: The office folks are wonderful to work with and Rosa does a great and efficient job cleaning my teeth and doing the x-rays. Both Rosa and Dr. Kanbar know I have hearing issues and they spoke loud and clear enough for me to hear without reminding them each visit. They also believe if ain't broke...don't fix something that's not there. We had issues with another dentist location pushing unnecessary procedures on us. Not here. Great place to use.

Negative experience: Worst hospitality, very cold responses and disrespectful. They are cancelling appointment without proper notice, very irresponsive. Found out after going to the centre.

Fantastic experience: I recently took my elderly mother to see Dr. Kanbar for a tooth extraction procedure. I was very happy with the exceptional care and compassion shown to her by the entire team. From the initial consultation to the actual procedure, everyone was gentle, patient, and understanding of her needs. They took the time to explain everything to her (and to me!) in a clear and reassuring manner. My mom was very comfortable throughout the entire visit. I highly recommend Great Road Dental Associates to anyone, especially those with elderly or anxious family members.

Negative experience: Good service, education, and professionalism: All of this was missing from the receptionist who attended to me, Viky. I went on January 14th seeking a quote for a dental implant. However, my biggest limitation was not speaking English. Apparently, in this place, people who don't speak English are not welcome. I approached the receptionist, greeted her, and apologized for not speaking English. I made an effort (using a phone translator) to ask if they handled my type of dental implant. I also wanted to know if my MassHealth insurance could be used in my case; if not, that was fine. But every question I asked was answered with an annoyed and disdainful tone. Later, a doctor came over to help interpret, and she was always kind to me, but the receptionist continued to be rude. She asked me to write down my details on a piece of paper, and when I asked the doctor a question, the receptionist snatched the paper out of my hands. At that moment, I realized this was not a welcoming place for me. They assigned me an appointment, but in a rude way, so I decided not to go. (Why go to a place where you are treated poorly from the start?) I wasn’t there to ask for free services or haggle over prices. My money is green too, and it’s worth just as much as anyone else's. In the end, I chose to find another dental clinic where I was treated correctly. They were kind, worked to solve my problem, and made an effort to communicate with me even though I didn’t speak the language. They found an interpreter and treated me with respect. At that clinic, I paid $2,400 for my new crown, and I gladly paid it! There, they truly value their patients and know how to provide proper care. Lastly, I want to leave a message for the receptionist Viky: Be more courteous! Set aside your arrogance. And if you don’t like serving the public because of their race, ethnicity, or skin color, find another job! Or better yet, put up a sign in your business saying you don’t serve people who don’t speak your language.
