Fantastic experience: Dr. Bains' staff are very friendly, skilled and knowledgeable, especially hygienist Rosalia.

Fantastic experience: Service with a smile. The front desk greets when you walk in the door. The hygienist makes you feel comfortable throughout the visit. The doctor explains what needs to be done, identifying cavities on x-rays and pointing out the actual tooth inside your mouth. The dental office has never been my favorite destination, but the friendly service helps to make it all worthwhile.

Positive experience: My previous dentist retired and I was not happy with the replacement and my friend said she is very happy with dr Bains and I can see why! I had a consultation and she came in with a warm smile and listened to me with the upmost respect and I left happy. She didn’t charge me for the consultation like some do and I am excited to get my teeth clean.

Positive experience: they are incredible! They are kind and very efficient. I've only ever had to wait once. They are great at scheduling and even have a text option so that you don't have to call or receive calls. I've been really impressed and would recommend their office! Update - I recently went back about a month ago for a cleaning. Very, very different experience. The hygienist made disparaging and disrespectful comments to other hygienists (referring to them as "ladies" rather than as professionals). The appointment was very slow. The dentist was maybe in my room for 2 minutes. At the end, the hygienist was trying to pressure me into making another appointment (even though I am moving - which I said numerous times). Thankfully, the office staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and courteous and helped me reiterate once again that I would not be returning. When I started coming here 3 years ago, the atmosphere was very different than it is now.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here for many years beginning with Dr Wilcox. Staff has always been friendly & professional. The wait time before the procedures is very minimal. Staff is always concerned how you are handling the procedure. Dr Baines is wonderful. She doesn’t rush procedures, explains everything she is doing & is very concerned with your dental health. My experiences at Davis Dental Creations have always been positive & I highly recommend this practice!

Fantastic experience: I went from a temporary crown to a permanent crown. The permanent crown fits perfectly. The office was really busy that day, but the wait wasn't too long and I was comfortable in the chair. Honestly, I think DDC has the most comfortable medical chairs I've ever sat in.

Instead of simply reattaching it, they already had my permanent crown ready and installed it on the spot. This saved me a future appointment and allowed me to avoid taking additional time off work. The techs and hygienist are knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I go twice a year for cleaning, and have had fillings and a bridge replaced, as well as a broken front tooth repaired. Just yesterday I had preliminary work on replacing a broken crown. I love how kind everyone is and De Bains truly is special. All excellent work done in the most professional way.

Negative experience: Went for a temporary crown which fell off in two months. Had a death in the family and these people were worried about getting paid even though my permanent crown was never placed. Bill was paid. You think I've heard from these people again? Nope! I should have known the way they were jamming up this senior citizen lady for payment while I was waiting. Still with a broken tooth.

Negative experience: BE WARNED! Not only did the dentist tell me there was nothing she could do about my nerve pain and sensitivity, they are charging me 274 dollars for a cleaning and X-ray! I’ve gone to dentists that were out of network and I’ve NEVER been charged this much! It’s not like I am uninsured! I am so disappointed, clearly got nothing out of it and now I’m getting robbed. Prices for out of network should be discussed upfront! I asked prior and was told that it could either be zero cost or could be a little more than the in network ones. I pay 0-50 dollars in network so this is not “a little more”!! Never coming back to this place.

Fantastic experience: Davis Dental Creations, under the stewardship of Dr. Harsimran, is an excellent dental practice. She took over from Dr Gregory. Wilcox a few years ago. Knowing that Dr. Wilcox was retiring I decided to switch to a highly recommended (if not the most recommended) dentist in Davis. For reasons I won’t go into fully, I decided to try Dr. Bains, though part of the reason for this was that I wanted to go back to my excellent/best ever dental hygienist—Rosalia. From the very beginning I liked and respected Dr. Bains. She is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, kind, and thorough. I also intuitively trusted her after my first exam with her. That’s important as one wants a dentist who does not do “over-dentistry” which is sometimes done for the sake of a dentist’s profit more than anything else. While I put a lot of time and effort into my dental health, I build up plaque much more quickly than most people and have significant gum recession. Thus, it is almost equally important to me to have an excellent dental hygienist in Rosalia.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time receiving dental treatment in the U.S., and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the initial appointment all the way through the treatment. I had to change my appointments several times, but they were always very accommodating and worked around my schedule. I had both a cleaning and a crown done, and for both procedures they took their time and treated me with great care. I really felt that they paid close attention to the quality of the treatment.

Everyone was friendly and supportive. All of my questions and concerns were addressed. All procedures were explained beforehand. Positive experience: Everyone is pleasant and kind. My hygienist (Denise) seemed very inexperienced and unsure of herself. She didn’t rinse my mouth while she was cleaning my teeth and I had so many flecks in my throat I had to stop her, sit up and get a glass of water. I found the cleaning a bit haphazard, although my teeth felt clean by the end. The floss she had was not very waxy and with my tightly set teeth she repeatedly tore the floss. She had to pick floss out of at least 5 areas. The practice should provide dental tape or more waxed floss for folks like me.

The office scheduled me right after my schedule with a hygienist which was a relief so I can get both done in one session. The hygienist was a temp, but did an excellent job: acted professionally, was patient, and took her time and explained every step. Dr. Bain is off the chart! She is always prepared. She already and precisely knows every procedure that she has done on you. She gives you an evaluation of where those procedures are and what to consider for future. She is amazing!
