Negative experience: Horrible experience! I wouldn't recommend going here, find another business to serve you. - I called to set up an initial consultation for orthodontics for our child. I was told that the orthodontist wasn't in daily and only worked certain days. I was ok with that, and scheduled an appointment. The day of my appointment, we waited 20+ minutes to be seen, I was told they were short staffed. They took our child back for x-rays and I was told I had to wait in the lobby while the x-rays were done. The x-rays took approximately 15 minutes to complete, I became concerned it was taking so long to complete the x-rays. I was called back to the exam room where our child was waiting. They began to set up their table and begin the process. I asked what all of this was and they said they were doing a cleaning. I asked why, and was told they always did a cleaning for new patients. I stated for orthodontics? We are here for braces. Our child already has a dentist. It was at this time that they explained they had completely booked me for the wrong appointment, the orthodontist was even in this day. I expressed my thorough dissatisfaction with this entire process and stated I had very clearly explained that we already have a dentist and was seeking care for orthodontics. They had wasted almost an hour of our day due to the office being so disorganized and completely botched the entire process since step one. What an utter disappointment!

Negative experience: My cousin had many bad baby teeth so we came here. The staff was very friendly at first when we walked in, my cousin (7 years old BTW) was nervous like any other kid getting teeth pulled out under anesthesia. they called her in and she was being a little difficult so the 2 nurses grabbed her and pulled her into the room, that’s fine you have to do what you do. Her surgery goes well but when we come home my cousin is talking again and allegedly the 2 nurses had closed her mouth with their hand, told her she was being difficult and to “shut up” they had also said “this is what you get” and put her straight to sleep. The nurses had attitudes like crazy. So maybe don’t be a nurse at a CHILDRENS dentist office if you can’t handle them? genuinely what do you expect

Fantastic experience: Just left and our assistant Kim was amazing. So helpful and professional. She was gentle with my daughter. I highly recommend asking for her. I can’t say enough good things about her and this place. Everyone is wonderful! 10/10!

Fantastic experience: We have been coming for couple years and always have wonderful experiences , They always make our little family feel so welcome , The two front Desk Girls Jenifer &Yeni & Mayra are always very supportive and work excellent with our schedules and support us on everything and explain everything with details !

Fantastic experience: Everybody in this office is amazing. Today, Oct 1, was my son's first visit here and first visit to the dentist in quite some time. Kim was an amazing dental hygienist and was super sweet and patient with my son. The Dr, who is a "traveling" or "moving" dentist (I think that's what they called her), was very caring and taught my son a trick to help with his gag reflex. It's been hard for him to effectively brush the back of his teeth. I am so happy to have found this place! It's truly special with extraordinary, caring staff!!

Fantastic experience: Had all three kids dentist appointments at 12 came a lil early and all three were back by 11:45. All three dental assistants were phenomenal and kind. Anytime anyone recommends a dentist this is where I send them. My kids hated the dentist for years, but about 4/5 years ago we switched and it couldn’t have been a better decision. Between the front staff, the dentist and all the hygienist we all always left her more than pleased.

Fantastic experience: My son had such a great experience with Dr. Andy! She was so kind and gentle with him, really taking the time to explain everything in a way he could understand. I appreciated how she spoke directly to him, making him feel comfortable and involved. She worked quickly but very thoroughly, and you can tell she truly cares about her patients. It’s not always easy to find a dentist kids feel at ease with, but Dr. Andy made the whole visit smooth and positive. Highly recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Everyone here is so sweet. Very professional. I appreciate that they’re very patient with my son, who is very nervous at the dentist. They make it easy to make an appointment and I like that they call to remind you of appointments. They have Disney movies playing at all the tvs and the waiting room has a cute activity for kids. Thanks to all the girls for dealing with my son when he asks for “no water”. Angela is very sweet and describes the process in detail, which I really appreciate.

Fantastic experience: Such a kid friendly environment. The staff is amazing at making you feel comfortable and making the children feel safe. Font desk Jenny & Jenni are helpful and go above and beyond. Mayra communicates everything in detail and follows through with all information. Every dental assistant is sweet and kind to the kids as well. I love bringing my children here.

She made me feel less nervous about the thought of having something bad with my teeth. The other staff also made us feel welcome and at ease. They are incredibly kind, patient, and truly care about their patients. My child was a little nervous at first, but the team took the time to explain everything in a gentle and reassuring way. The dentists and orthodontists are not only skilled but also wonderful with kids, they make each visit a positive experience. The office is bright, cheerful, and filled with little touches that help children feel comfortable. I also appreciate how they keep parents informed every step of the way and answer any questions with kindness and clarity. It’s such a relief to know my child is in the hands of professionals who genuinely care about both their dental health and overall well-being. We’re so grateful to have found such a compassionate and talented team!

Definitely recommend bring your children here, my kids loved this place and also got balloons once they were done with their cleanings.

Negative experience: Our initial service was good however at our second appointment, I was denied entry with my child to have procedure performed even though the first time I was brought to the back due to my child’s anxiety and PTSD from a previous hospitalization. We scheduled our second service a week later, only to be told that I am not allowed to go back there, even though their policy stipulates that you can go back there if child is not cooperating seems to me this is extremely sketchy. I don’t see what they are trying to hide in regards to service. When I asked to speak to a manager, no management was provided and they did not want to send a referral to a different facility

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome, my son has been coming here for about 3 years now and he is Autistic, the staff here are so caring and patient with him. Because of the staff being so welcoming and sweet my son actually enjoys coming to the dentist. Kim is AMAZING and I love how she explains to my son everything she’s doing and shows him all the tools she is going to be using. You can definitely tell she loves her job and enjoys being there. I definitely would recommend this place and especially Kim.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my 3-year-old here since her first dentist appointment and we’ve had nothing but great experiences. The staff is so gentle and patient, and they really know how to make kids feel comfortable. Angela, one of the DA's , is always so sweet and welcoming. She definitely helps make each visit go smoothly and stress free. My daughter actually looks forward to going! The office is clean, fun, and very kid-friendly. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a great children’s dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking both my kids here and we have had the best experience. Front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating. We love their dental hygienists, they are the sweetest to my kids. My oldest needed a lot of work done, they recommended sedation. I was really nervous however, the morning of, the staff, Dr and anesthesiologist reassured me my kiddo would be in great hands. I strongly recommend this place!

Negative experience: They pulled my daughter (6) front teeth out when they put her under anesthesia and didn’t ask me for permission and they said it was because they were about to come out… well that was 2 months ago and they still haven’t came in.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my 5 year old here for about two years now. We have always had good experiences! I was so nervous when my daughter had to be sedated for a procedure, but Dr. Sami and her crew took such good care of her! My daughter trusts this team so much that she doesn’t even ask me to go in with her. Most recently, my daughter hit her mouth very hard before bed, and they took her in the very next morning. Dr. Zoe was so caring and kind. She suggested we wait a week for my daughter’s mouth to heal before we take out the teeth, so we don’t cause her any more pain. She also gave us a week supply of a mouthwash that would help her, so we wouldn’t have to buy a whole bottle. The ladies at the front are always so kind and helpful. I would never take my daughters anywhere else!

Negative experience: Should be called Woodland Bait And Switch Kids Dentistry! Front desk staff are horrible and definitely work for the companies gain and not the patients. We had a horrible experience at this place and both of the staff members failed miserably at their jobs, one even thought the situation was funny and proceeded to laugh until I asked her if she thought something was funny? We took my son in from the regular doctors office in Elk Grove drove 2 hours from my hometown for a 6am appointment with absolutely ZERO ACCOMMODATION!! When we got to the doctors the staff were very strategic about how they went over the procedure, also made it a point to tell us that they couldn’t go in the back and talk to the doctors and once they started working whatever they did they couldn’t take back. Now I understand that’s their way of pushing you up against a wall so you will have to pay $1900 out of your pocket right then and there. No warning no assistance just well we drilled holes in your sons mouth and we can’t just leave it like that so you owe us $1900 and it needs to be paid now because the anesthesia is about to wear off. I drove 2 hours from my hometown when I could have just stayed in my network and been treated exactly the same. I honestly feel like this is how they make their money because as a parent what are you going to do, they use their practice to extort money from people I get times are hard but you guys need to do better. None of this was explained to me and the information given was very evasive and deceptive at best.

Fantastic experience: Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and sweet! They were able to see all 3 of my children within a few days of asking for an appointment. Dr. Zoe (sp?) and her assistant were amazing with my Autistic child and made sure her needs were met above and beyond. The waiting room was super suitable for kids of all ages and there were no stares or need for the children waiting to be quiet. Best children's dentist office ive ever been to in Woodland/Davis.

Fantastic experience: This is the go to place for us. We have been to other dentists and by far this has been the best place with an impeccable service. Mayra and Andrea have been nothing short of great with our kids. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Brought my 5 year old daughter here for sedation. Staff could tell she was nervous the girls in the front including Mayra were amazing in reassuring her everything would be fine. They informed me when she was asleep and kept me calm. Would definetly recommend this place to family and friends .

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks and has had some cavities that our previous dentist couldn’t get done. Today she got two cavities fixed! She did amazing with her new dentist. He was very patient and was able to connect with her and got the work done. I am very happy with the way she was treated by all the people that work there. I also appreciated the communication from the staff.
