Family Dentistry at Seven Hills

Fantastic experience: I have a special needs son who has autism and is nonverbal. The team at Family Dentistry at Seven Hills welcomed us wholeheartedly every staff member was kind and happy we were there. Brooke, our dental assistant was fabulous! She was quick, thorough and efficient!! My son was given many short breaks to help him throughout his visit. Brooke miraculously got regular X-Rays done with ease. I highly recommend Brooke and the entire staff at Family Dentistry at Seven Hills!

Fantastic experience: I have had wonderful experiences every time I go. The entire staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Jamie is always so sweet and helpful every time I come in. I trust their recommendations and have never had any issues. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Despite confirming with billing before-hand that they accept Tricare Dental, they completely neglected to tell me they're not actually in-network. Very convenient choice of words to tell someone you "accept" their insurance but not let them know you're out-of-network. I'd been coming here for years under a different plan with no issue, but just got a surprise bill in the mail. During my routine cleaning, my dentist even told me that my insurance would cover a fluoride treatment at no extra cost, but thankfully I declined. The dentists themselves are great but the front desk/billing needs to communicate clearly to customers any anticipated costs BEFORE letting the dentists work on them.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for years. This year without warning they sent a balance to collections without contacting me about it for a procedure that I already paid for. I’m so disappointed because this has never been an issue before. Then I found out from my mom that the same thing happened to her this year.

Fantastic experience: The staff here does such a great job. Always a good experience!

Negative experience: Went in for a filling and the dentist cracked my tooth which caused extreme pain and discomfort then had to go get that filled again. Worse dental experience I have ever went through. Tried to say I would need a root canal but it was there fault from cracking my tooth.

Negative experience: My full family has been going to this office for years. I'm leaving because I was incorrectly charged $50 for a missed appointment fee. My son called the office and got voice mail. Left a msg on the voice mail but I was still charged the $50. This was the 3rd time I was charged. I paid the other 2 without complaint. This time he showed me proof of the call. I told the office that I would be pulling the full family from the practice and they did nothing. They traded $50 for years of loyal customers spending Thousands over the years. Oh well on to finding a new dentist.

Negative experience: Sadly, I was looking for a new provider since my insurance changed. I called this place and since day one the person answering the calls with name starting with J. Was not kind at all no interest, her way to ask questions were like you are bothering her instead of appreciating the request and opportunity of having a new patient. I though that could be me, but today I confirmed it was me. So sad they are losing clients-patients by having a rude person answering the calls.

Negative experience: Been using FD@SH for almost 20 years now and have never had a major issue until this last visit. It started out great with a surprise that Cassie was in town and she would be the one cleaning my teeth. She did so and done a good job as usual. Then, as it Specifically says Not to do in my files, in comes Dr. Nadler to do the follow up examination. There may be some that like this woman, but I and everyone else that I've talked to that had had an exam by her Can Not Stand to have her to do their follow up. After putting her gloved up hands all in your mouth and doing a teeth, gum, cheek, and tongue check she then runs her wet gloved hands all over your neck and on your face. THIS Is Disgusting! She Could Easily change her gloves before putting them on your face But NO. I Will NEVER SEE Her AGAIN. They said Dr. Fields was Busy with another ongoing procedure. Well, next time I'll just forego the dentist part of the cleaning exam.

Negative experience: I used to love coming here until I had to deal with the billing department. The dentists and dental hygienists are AMAZING! My family is under my dental policy. One of the dentists at the location is out of network for my dental plan. The dental office started putting my family on his schedule, which means the dental company was sending me the checks instead of the dentist. No big deal. However, I was never told this until I received the following email saying that I owe almost $1200. I asked for a breakdown, and I received an email on Fri, Apr 19, 2024 at 12:47 PM stating with bills starting on 08/16/2023. First issue is that I understand that I should be responsible for paying for my kids dental bills; however, my spouse is over the age of 18 and should be responsible for his own bill. They added my spouse’s dental bill to my credit without my permission. They said that since he was under my dental plan coverage, they could do that without asking (which is incorrect according to the insurance commissioners office). Second issue is that the first bill was from over 6 months prior to the email and in 2023 (the email was sent in 2024). So, I started inquiring about the bill and received this email: “The balance that is currently due is from dates of service in 2024. These checks were issued to you directly from Delta Dental and they have been cashed.” I called to explain that I did not cash any checks in 2023. Next, I received a voicemail stating that she was incorrect and only the bills for 2024 were due. What if I would have just paid the $1200? Would the mistake have been noticed? Furthermore, I did not know why the dental company was sending me checks since I was going to the same office and had the same dental plan. I thought I overpaid for the plan from my job. Either way, I feel like this should have been explained to me over the phone or in-person prior to the emails. In addition, the amount that I owed should have been doubled checked to ensure that amount was correct. However, I let it go and tried to still bring my family in since I really liked the dentists and dental hygienists. However, now, all I get are attitudes from the staff at the front desk and the billing department. This is especially wild to me since the billing department made the mistakes and I tried my best to watch my tone due to my ethnicity and not wanting to be labeled “ANGRY”. Moreover, it has been issue after issue. The most recent issue was when I tried to bring my 4-year-old in for her first appointment. I thought it was going to be exciting and special occasion. I was very wrong since the billing department was determined to ruin our experience. The day before my daughter’s appointment at 3pm, I was sent a TEXT MESSAGE stating that my daughter was not covered. I explain through text (since I was in a meeting) that it was a family plan and all my other family members had been seen throughout the year. Family plans have to include ALL family members, which I would think the billing department would understand. Nonetheless, the billing department stated that my daughter was not on my plan until 1/1/2025. I told the billing department that could not be correct because I already switched dental plans for 2025. So, I canceled my daughters appointment because I did not have enough time to figure out the issue for the billing department prior to my daughter’s appointment. Then, suddenly, the billing department figured it out and said my dental company had my daughter’s DOB incorrect. Honestly, it just seems that I am being targeted. So, at this point, it is just best if I find another dental office because I cannot go back and forward with the billing department and the MANY mistakes that they make and the unprofessional communications. However, I will be submitting a complaint through the Better Business Bureau.

I couldn’t say enough good things about the front office staff, Shelby & others I’ve spoken with, Dr. Fields, & Donna. Very positive experience overall! I am thrilled, excited, thankful, & grateful to be a patient in their practice. Blessed to have found this practice, thanks to my mom’s recommendation! Now, even my husband is going to go as well! The first visit / new patient gift of a nice beach towel just added icing to the cake — Can’t wait to use it all summer long! I would highly recommend for your dentist!

Fantastic experience: Blessed to have found a place with such caring, talented and honest staff. Cassie, the dental hygienist was very thorough, explaining and detailing things as she worked. She made sure I was comfortable and at ease every step of the way. I met Dr. Morin, and she was a breath of fresh air. I had to hold back tears of relief and joy because my entire life I had nothing but awful experiences. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking to establish care with dedicated professionals that truly care about their patients.

Negative experience: I am giving this dental practice a rating of 1 for 1 reason. The person in charge of insurance/payments/communication is a very rude, inefficient and an uncommunicative person. She made numerous errors when filing our insurance, didn’t return phone calls, and was very unpleasant to talk to.. However, the rest of the staff is awesome. Their best move would be to replace her with someone that could do the job correctly.

Negative experience: Very unethical on billing. Been going for awhile and have never paid for cleaning or X-rays then I received a bill for it. Was told they dropped out of network and insurance did not pay for all of it. Was never notified that they dropped out of network. When I inquired about this with them they rudely told me they did not have to tell me that they do that as a service for the patients that they are not obligated to tell us. Metlife and Georgia Board of Dentistry and I disagree. I will be filing an ethics complaint.

I was taken back on time for my 1st visit my Hygienist Denise was Amazing , also one of the other Hygienists Melinda came in to assist with charting Dr. Papp did my exam I was very Impressed he had a great bedside manor and took his time and answered my concern's with care! Also Kendra actually scheduled my appointment I got in the next day I was very impressed! The team was beautiful! Fantastic experience: Dr. Morin and her staff, the dental hygienists, office staff, are the best I've ever experienced in my over 50 years having teeth! I have had several dentists in my life. Many have had me have procedures I didn't need, as they were more interested in sales than their patient's health - me. But not Dr. Morin. She is wonderful. Her staff treats me so well. I don't have pain while they clean my teeth. When I do need procedures Dr. Morin is a so nice, professional and gentle. The office is immaculately clean. They have a huge air purifier, water in the lobby, so many magazines. I would recommend anyone in or around Paulding, Cobb, Cherokee, Cartersville, even Woodstock is worth the drive. I'm just a patient. Just like their practice.

Negative experience: I made the mistake in choosing this place to be our family dentist. They were nice at first with our 5 regular check-ups through our insurance. A few months later they are billing bogus procedures to my insurance and harassing me through email, phone and mail to pay something that never happened! The fraudulent bill they sent has NO Description or anything like for what or anything itemized etc... NOTHING just a blank bill with NO DESCRIPTION OR REASON! Just an amount!! Then I call several times and leave a messages and Nobody calls back! These PEOPLE ARE FAKE AND FRAUDULENT!!! STAY AWAY! I HAVE RETAINED AN ATTORNEY NOW BECAUSE OF THIS!

Fantastic experience: Dr Morin is fantastic! Pulled my tooth and I felt no pain. She ensured I was comfortable at all times. She is highly skilled!

Negative experience: This place is a rip off. I just started out trying a new dentists, so I made an appointment to be seen. I got there and was pulled back to a chair and the dental hygienist had the worst attitude, she started to hurt me with one of the tools and I had let here know that and she snapped back at me stating I needed to stay still. They did a panoramic xray , stating that I had six cavities and would need to get the work done. After I left the office I wondered how I had so many cavities, since I take good care of my teeth and am very careful. So I ended up getting a second opinion and they told me that the xray I had brought to them they could not see anything because of how blurry it was, they ended up taking a new xray and letting me know that I had no cavities what so every and that my teeth were perfectly healthy. As well as I have let them know to take me off as a patient, but yet I still get phone calls and text messages to confirm my appointment. I will be taking my business else where.

Negative experience: I’ve had good experiences before. But today was different. No one told us prior to booking that neither parent could come back with him. But my 7 year old was comfortable going alone, so we let him. Only to come back after 10 minutes stating because he has a sore throat and cough he could not be seen. Regardless that we have Covid test results proving he is not sick. We were told we had to come back after 7 days. Our son has allergies, which cause him to have a sore throat and a cough. He will still have a cough and sore throat in seven days. Let me tell you friends, there are other good dentists that are not so far left. I do not recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fields did a great job bonding my daughter’s lateral. He’s always making jokes and teasing which I like! Dr. Morin is also an excellent dentist. The hygienists are down to earth and so sweet - especially Angel and Brooke (they all are, really). I tell everyone who’s looking for a dentist to go here!

Negative experience: Love this dentist but be sure to get a quote for services before you go and then check the day you go as well. We were charged for a service we never asked for or expected. Yes, we have the correct location. We have been patients of your practice for years.

Fantastic experience: I brought my children in for routine cleanings. Michelle did awesome with my oldest and Heather made my youngest boy feel safe and secure for his first dental appointment. The office personnel was warm and friendly. As well as took the necessary precautions for the current pandemic.I would definitely recommend them to everyone I see
