We didn't wait long, even though we were early, and they walked us through each step of our first consultation. Everyone we met, even just walking around, had a greeting smile. The doctor himself was personable and transparent with my daughter's treatment plan. They explained our insurance coverage and optional payment plans. Fantastic experience: We started looking for an orthodontist for our son and decided to get a second opinion on treatment plans through Hallgren orthodontics. My son and I felt instantly welcomed and enjoyed our experience here so much more than another place we went. After hearing about their plans we learned that the cost is less and that they use the latest braces and laser technology meaning less pain and no need for an additional surgery. We knew this was the right place for his treatment. He got his braces on today and the process was painless and exactly as expected and everyone at the office is so accommodating and friendly. They remember personal things about our family and truly made us feel at home here. I will definitely recommend them to others in the future.

Fantastic experience: Both of my sons have had braces at Dr Hallgren’s office. They are conscientious, caring, gentle and personable. Everything was explained in detail from the first appointment to the last. Scheduling is made very easy with flexible times. If we ever had concerns, we were able to get in right away to address them. The office is clean and comfortable. They offer fun games and prizes to keep the kiddos engaged in their orthodontic care. Fantastic experience: Recently new and I love this office! My 14 year old is getting ALOT of work done for braces and the whole team has been AMAZING in explaining every step to me! His expander fell off and they got us in, in a timely manner and fixed it fast! Would highly recommend!!!! Don’t hesitate, just call!!!! ***UPDATE: 4/24/26 my now 18 year old finally got his braces off after 4 long years but his smile and perfect smile is all worth it. I have a lot of anxiety around dentists and dental work and they were very considerate in asking questions and addressing my fears. The time they took with me put me at ease right from the start. Fantastic experience: We have had an incredible experience with Dr. Hallgren's office. Before choosing an orthodontist, we had consultations at 4 different offices because we knew our daughter's orthodontia was going to be a little complicated and we wanted her to have the best experience possible. Right from the beginning, the Hallgren office was peaceful and calming. The staff treated us so gently and my daughter felt respected even though she's "just a kid." That was something she really appreciated. When we received our treatment estimate, we were told to expect two years of treatment, but we kept all of our appointments every six weeks and my daughter used her bands diligently and she just graduated 3 months early! The results have been incredible, as you can see in the photos. Our older son and our adult daughter are now both happy patients at Hallgren and even though we live all the way in Augusta, I won't take my other kids anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Hallgren!

Dr Hallgren and his team did an amazing job. My teeth look as if I went and got Veneers. I love how patient they are with me.
