Fantastic experience: I had a filling drop out on a Sunday AM, did not have any pain so I waited until Monday to call the office. Voila, come in at 4:30 Monday. Dr J.J. corrected the problem without novocaine, and no pain. Couldn't ask for anything more...

Fantastic experience: They’ve been my dentist for well over ten years and I trust them fully. Every visit I’m convinced again and again that they only look out for my best interest and health. 10 out of 10 and a zillion stars from me. I’m very happy with the care I’ve received over the years and continue to get.

Fantastic experience: First floor family dentistry located in a 2-story house. Small but cozy and comfortable waiting area, but the wait is usually less than 5 minutes. Friendly staff both front staff and dental providers. The dentist takes his time to show and explain what's needed. Works with and recommends specialists as needed.. Over the past 2 years, I've had a few cleanings, 3 crowns replaced, 1 implant, and 1 custom tooth guard to prevent nighttime grinding. Will be getting another replacement crown as well as invisilign this month. I've been to 8 dentists and 5 specialists in my lifetime. Of the dentists, Dr. Caruso is in the top 3. Definitely better than 3 of the other dental facilities in the Hightstown area..

Dr. JJ is available to patients when there is an emergency and has always tried to deal with them as quickly and efficiently as possible. Fantastic experience: I am hesitant to leave a review because I’m selfish and I want this place all to myself. The practice is small and the people are lovely. I am always attended to in a timely fashion and have only ever had skilled, kind hygienists who always tell you what they are going to do before they do it.

Fantastic experience: I started going here last year shortly after moving to the area and am very pleased with the dental care provided thus far. Everyone is very professional, from the front office staff who greet you pleasantly when you walk in, to the hygienists (Rhonda has a gentle touch yet is very thorough) to Dr. Caruso, who is very personable and doesn’t try to push services that you don’t need. Fantastic experience: I just had my first visit as a new patient. It was a very friendly and pleasant experience. All of the staff greeted me and introduced themselves. I barely had to wait before I was brought in, I had a very thorough exam and I felt that the hygienist and the dentist were experienced and honest. It was a breath of fresh air and worth the extra 30 minute trip as I was dissatisfied with my previous dentist office. That previous office was run like a mill and they were constantly looking to upcharge me.

Fantastic experience: I just had 4 upper teeth removed and hands down the best experience I have ever had with a Dentist! This is the first time I have had teeth pulled where I felt no pain, a little discomfort with the stiches but by far a painless experience compared to what I have dealt with in the past. I am back to work the next day able to talk, no pain medicine needed, following my post op instructions that were explained to me in detail. I even had a check up call today to make sure everything was going well, first time ever for that also. So 5 stars all the way, also for the front desk staff, as they too, were so friendly and courteous, I can't say enough about how happy I am from the experience and weirdly (only because I never thought I would look forward to seeing a dentist) looking forward to finishing the rest of my treatment here!

Fantastic experience: March 30, 2026: From the moment I arrived at Hightstown Family Dentistry, I felt welcomed. The front desk team greeted me warmly and the check-in process was smooth. My hygienist was wonderfully gentle and thorough—she explained every step and checked in about comfort as she worked. The cleaning itself was meticulous, I left with noticeably cleaner teeth and refreshed breath. The dentist reviewed my care plan and offered practical tips for at-home care in clear, friendly terms. The reason things went so well was that I followed the hygienists recommendation from my last visit, she carefully explained to me how to properly use my WaterPick flossing device. She was spot on with her advice. The office environment is bright, clean, and calming, with a team that genuinely cares about patient comfort. Overall, it was a top-tier dental cleaning experience, and I highly recommend Hightstown Family Dentistry to anyone seeking professional, compassionate care. October 2025 Finally I was able to resume my regular cleaning after a very bad broken leg. I noticed some new faces and a very clean bookcase in the office. As expected my cleaning was much needed and the hygienist was very understanding and the entire cleaning process was much better than I had anticipated. Great associate! Dr. JJ was his usual self, very reassuring and professional. As I have mentioned in the past, this is a great place for any dental related work.Also, bring along a joke, they all have a great sense of humor.

Fantastic experience: I am happy to call doctor Caruso my new dentist, after having some not so pleasant experiences at other places before coming to hightstown family dentistry. I was in need of alot of dental work starting with extractions that were causing infection and pain. Within a half hour of being there, the major problem tooth was removed seamlessly with only a numbing agent. The staff was so kind and layed out a plan for all of the work needed at a reasonable price. The peace of mind knowing i found a network of good people who care is priceless and I look forward to continuing my pursuit in getting my old smile back. I highly recommend them, just a great dentist and staff who take pride in making their clients comfortable.

Fantastic experience: My 6yr old daughter got her first dental work done here and hands down the best dentist and staff!! She had to get numbed up and Dr. JJ was very gentle and she never flinched. She did start to cry towards the end of the procedure due to the noice of the drill and his sweet dental assistant Maria calmed her down and explained to her what the last steps would be and got her to smile at the end. She loves everyone here and is looking forward to coming back!

Fantastic experience: I hadn't seen the dentist in a few years, but needed to make an appointment due to an issue. I was extremely nervous and scared, but as soon as I called; Tara and Maria were very kind and helpful. When I got there m, they were at the front desk. They could tell I was upset, took their time and comforted me, and walked to the room. Once I was there, Ann came in to prep me. She pretty much held my hand, took her time; comforted me, and tried to put my fears at ease. She showed patience and did everything she could to maje me comfortable; while getting what was needed. Then Dr. Caruso came in, and a weight was lifted. I have seen him before and once he even helped me park my car. He made me feel a bit more relaxed and gave me hope, and makes you forget with laughter. I apologized for the situation and felt ashamed. Him and his staff reinforced their gratefulness thst I cane in, and never made me bad,embarrassed, or judged. Most of all, my situation didn't seem so bad and my fear was gone. They make it seem like your problems will be resolved, one step at a time, and do not overwhelm you. On the way out, Ann came to check on me, and hugged me. I love tlthis practice, and the entire staff-theyre compassionate,caring,respectful, and bring humanity and comfort to a field(that most are afraid of). I could not recommend them enough! Fantastic experience: First the office staff. The girls are great, friendly and very helpful. I've only been a couple times but already I feel like they know me. The dentist is really good and makes sure there is no pain and if you say your in pain he stops and does what he needs to do to make sure he corrects that before starting again. And he's a real good guy. Very friendly and personal. I have aligners years ago and as a courtesy he grinded off the little bumps that held the aligners on just cause he wanted to because he could see that they were a nuisance. That was much appreciated.

Anne is always wonderful and helpful, I was there on Monday to have my tooth pulled. Everything went well, months ago. I had three teeth pulled and everything went well. He’s a great great dentist and I would recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient with Hightstown Family Dentistry for over 20 years and have received a variety of services ranging from serious, sudden dental repair to cosmetic work. I seriously do not trust any other dentist !!! I am very picky and specific with my teeth and I always leave feeling heard and confident in their product. In my experience it's very hard to find a quality dentist. I recommend this practice 10,000 times over.

Negative experience: 0 stars. Front desk is a mess no communication and the manager is always rude. The new dentist is nothing like the old Dr.Carusso that used to own the practice. Had to switch dentist after several billing mistakes.

Food keeps getting caught near that temporary 7/24 Things were getting better, I thought, but realize I still have discomfort/ache near where work was done; not in tooth area, but side of face near top of ear. Still taking tylenol, but may phone you tomorrow.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best dental experience I've ever had. They were accommodating to my sensitivity to sound and vibration. They found an alternative when I struggled to get the x-ray thing in my small mouth. I felt completely respected and seen and cared for. I'm so grateful.
