He has installed in his office the latest dental technology and capability which enables him to produce fitted crowns on site in less than an hour. My other Dentist recommended extraction and very expensive work on the tooth nearby. I went to Dr. Shaprio. He fixed the tooth that was to be extracted and noticed no other dental issues that needed attention. He saved us a fortune. He only recommends work when needed. He had placed several crowns for me years ago. Bottom line, when work is needed, he will do it -- brilliantly. Can't say enough about this wonderful practice, loo⁹

I’ll add that since Dr Shapiro’s passing I send condolences to his family and all his colleagues at work. Since that time Dr Glatt has been my dentist, and I am just as enthusiastic and appreciative of the professionalism and skill of his work. The administrative staff and hygienists continue to be top-notch. Thanks Dr Glatt for maintaining such high standards for your clients. However, when you go to Doctor Shapiro's office it is friendly, the assistants are professional and Doctor Shapiro is top notch. Fantastic experience: Update - Feb, 2025 - Dr. Glatt has taken over this practice, due to Dr. Shapiro's unfortunate passing. Dr. Glatt has big shoes to fill, but I appreciate how he is making his own observations on his patients, as I expect any good doctor would do when taking over from someone else - after all, he is now accountable; it's certainly how I would approach it. He has great attention to detail and customer focus. His staff is friendly, thorough, and very professional. Very pleased with Dr. Glatt and his team! Update - Sep, 2020 - finally got to go back for a visit that was postponed from March of this year, due to COVID. Great controls in place, and wonderful to get a proper cleaning! Heartily recommend Dr. Shapiro and his staff. Our family (extended) goes to Dr. Shapiro, and has for years. Dr. Shapiro is professional, thorough, embraces technology, and very personable. His office is extremely clean and his staff are all wonderful. His timing for appointments is excellent! I do want to comment on his thoroughness, and how an x-ray didn't identify something, but he noticed discoloration and sure enough there was some minor decay that he was able to address early on. Additionally, I've used him for a cap, and through our family we've had some more extensive work performed, and Dr. Shapiro is always a perfectionist, and you'd think he was working on his own family, both functionally and aesthetically. Heartily recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shapiro is a wonderful dentist and uses to latest technology in his practice. His dental hygienists are terrific as is Kathy, his receptionist. They all go out of their way to make a trip to the dentist a very positive experience!

Fantastic experience: Dr Glatt is no nonsense dentist. He explained all that was needed for my visit and follow-up. He checked in with me after my visit to see that I am doing well and if I had any questions

Negative experience: I wish the office had informed patients up front about the expenses that are not covered by insurance. Instead I went ahead with everything assuming the regular cleaning and examination will be covered (which dental insurances always do), I ended up getting a $100 bill that I had to pay myself for a regular cleaning. Not happy with this at all! Transparency is extremely important and it is the foundation for trust for future businesses.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Glatt is an excellent dentist. Had a crown come off today, and he saw me very promptly in an unscheduled session. But he took his time, careful about everything, attention to detail. Am very pleased by this level of excellent care.

Fantastic experience: I called Dr. Glatt's personal number a few days before I was going on vacation as I was experiencing throbbing pain from an infected rear top molar. I was having intense headaches and neck pain. We spoke about what was going on and he quickly put my mind at ease. He was able to get me an early appointment the next day for xrays and while the tooth was not salvagable he had his assistants make some phone calls and the tooth was extracted about 2 hours later that same day by Dr. Bradley. I cant say enough about his compassion and willingness to make sure NONE of my vacation time was cut short or impacted. No pun intended. Great job Dr. Glatt and team, shout out to Dr. Bradley also. Thank you everyone for a superb team effort!

Fantastic experience: I have been Dr. David Shapiro’s patient for 7 + years. Over that time, I have seen him and his staff in a variety of circumstances ranging from routine hygienist cleanings to near dental, (in my opinion) emergencies. On every occasion he and his staff have consistently shown a high degree of professionalism, concern, and interest in my personal and dental well-being. I heartily recommend him to anyone with dental issues. David is likeable, friendly, and personable – and it shows. However, he is also a professional whose mindset is his clients’ well-being. He ‘wants’ his patients to like him, but he ‘needs; his patients to listen to him. He carefully balances these issues. He carefully explains the dental issue you face and leaves you to decide to accept or decline his advice. Personally, I have always followed his recommendations. In the same manner, my hygienist (Chelsey) is completely professional and personable. She is patently aware of my inherent (and unfounded) ‘fear of the dentist.’ She greets me with a friendly smile and simultaneously covers her ‘tools’ under a white cloth. When my mouth occasionally tightens-up and clenches shut, she soothingly whispers in my ear: “Jim, big boys (like you) don’t freeze up in the dental chair.” I quickly take a deep breath, relax my facial muscles, and remind myself that I am grown man, no longer a squeamish youngster. Finally, Kathy the Office Manager, (also known as the Den Mother) is the epitome of emotional warmth and calmness while overseeing the at times hectic events that can happen in any medical office.
