Fantastic experience: Best Dentist in West Michigan. My husband and I were both patients before we even met, and have continued despite living an hour away these days. Staff is always so kind and professional! The facility and equipment is always beautiful and updated regularly which adds to the ease of cleanings and procedures. Reasonable pricing and doesn’t try to sell work that is not necessary.

I had a very traumatic dental experience several years ago and had vowed that I just would not go back to the dentist. I’m so glad that I found Dr. Lyder! He and all of the staff have been absolutely amazing for the last several years that I’ve been a patient. Everyone is so pleasant and so kind. He is absolutely efficient, caring, compassionate, and extremely skilled in his field.! The services are so exceptional that I’m literally willing to pay out-of-pocket because my insurance is not accepted!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment today for a cleaning. One small cavity was found. They made room in their schedule to fix the cavity right then so I wouldn’t have to return again. Also, I have an unusual problem that is killing my teeth. Dr. Leyder took time to talk me through what is happening and what the future may bring. The whole staff, doctor, nurses, assistant, office are efficient, professional and top notch. I am really pleased to be a patient here at Horizons Dental. Thank you. Barb Rudick

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Horizons Dental for about 10 plus years now. I love the treatment that I get from the staff. At Horizons Dental you are treated so special. They are very caring people and I love that. Dr. Leeder makes sure you are very comfortable before he even began working on your mouth. I'm not a fan of needles but he is very gentle and takes his time when he numbs you up and while working on your mouth. That makes a big difference. Overall my visit today was a very nice and peaceful experience. Keep up the Excellent work guys. You all Deserve a Best Dentist staff Award.

Fantastic experience: My 2nd time here for a colonoscopy. I was happily surprised when they changed their gloves after my colonoscopy . They then gave me a filling and a sticker. 100% reccomend!!!

Fantastic experience: I visited Horizon dental today to get a small cavity filled. I was in and out in less than an hour. Didn’t even need any kind of numbing medicine. Dr. Leyton and his staff are very friendly, lots of knowledge about procedures, and their front desk staff even explained the process and what I would be expected to pay. I’m so glad I chose to go to Horizons Dental.

Fantastic experience: The patient questionnaire that they provide before your first visit is incredible. I especially enjoyed that they asked how comfortable you are with dental offices. Due to how I answered that question, Dr. Leyder came in with that knowledge, professional yet kind, soft-spoken, and comforting. Logan was my incredible dental hygienist and she helped make the intake and x-rays as comfortable as possible too. The front desk staff are also very very sweet. So grateful for all of you who helped to make me feel comfortable

Negative experience: I really felt comfortable going here. I complained twice because they incorrectly scheduled me for the wrong procedure. Then they never sent me information I needed. They just made a decision to be an out of network provider. They want me to pay cash for all appointments and procedures and have told me my insurance can pay me back in 2 to 4 weeks. This is a dental practice that has gone from a 10 to a 1, in my opinion. I just want honest caring dental care.

Negative experience: I absolutely love the doctors but i HATE the staff at the front desk verry unprofessional i called to tell them i was sick and wasnt going to make it to my appointment and got told it was going to have a $50 fee because i never showed up when they wont even let me come in because im sick there website said they were closed yesterday due to mlk day she wanted to be very aggressive over the phone and tell me they dont have a website while i was on it talking to the manager the ONLY reason i will be going back is because the doctors are amazing

My cavity filling was 20 minutes, no facial drooling or facial numbness after. Has to have been the best tooth filling I have ever had!

Fantastic experience: Horizon Dental is the best, I can't believe how nice I was treated by everyone as soon as you walk in the door. I got my teeth cleaned and Diane I believe her name was, was awesome. She was so careful not to hurt me and the Doctor is so caring.....I can't say how great they was and how nice is was to be able for a totally disabled person to be able to get around a place. Not to many places a person fully dependent on an electric wheelchair can get around.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Leyder, Diana, and the administrative staff at Horizons Dental have always been so kind and compassionate toward me! Dr Leyder is highly skilled in many areas within dentistry so I haven’t needed to be referred elsewhere.The dental work performed is top notch.. and always gentle!! Over the last few years the doctor and his team have successfully improved my smile and overall health by suggesting helpful, preventative measures, and presenting alternative treatment options for my conditions. Just this week I discovered that he is able to install an implant needed to replace a missing tooth, and his practice now offers the SureSmile Clear Aligners, which is a newer and much more affordable solution to correcting teeth position - and in turn my bite - I’m a grinder. FYI - there’s an introductory price promotion on SureSmile Aligners thru 11/30/21 so jump on this now if you can! Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this practice! If you are looking to find a new 5 star dentist in the Muskegon County area I highly recommend choosing Horizons Dental!

Negative experience: Our cleaning appointments where cancelled today but we were not notified until we got to the office. We are now on a wait list because the office is booked out 5 months.
