Fantastic experience: Every single person from start to finish is so warm and friendly! The hygienist that worked with us was so amazing. I had 3 kiddos by myself and she would take turns taking some for a walk to keep them entertained. My middle child even said she loved that lady so much that she wanted to go back to the dentist the next day and she wanted to hug her! I couldn’t more more thankful for everyone’s kindness and making my kids LOVE the dentist!

Fantastic experience: We came very late in the game last year for the first time and my son had 4 cavities. With a strong gag reflex, no prior dental experience, and an unsuccessful attempt to fill without anesthesia, we reluctantly made an appointment to do so. I was a wreck leading up to the appointment as we had never done anything like this before, but when the day arrived and I met the team, I was put at ease. I couldn’t have been more grateful to have such caring and competent clinicians who truly had a child’s interest at the forefront both in office and with the outsourced anesthesia team (Starburst Happy Gas, toys and a goodie bag to go home with!) Fast forward and we’re back a year later to no more cavities after following their treatment plan! My son looks forward to going to the dentist and Dr Lauren addressed my recent airway concerns and gave great recommendations for some paths to try. A fantastic office to bring your kids to!

Fantastic experience: We absolutely love it here. The whole team is so empathetic and kind to kids - they are thorough, and they talk kids through everything they do, developing a super healthy relationship to dental care that is not fear based pr fear inducing. Love love love!!

Fantastic experience: Lauren and her staff were phenomenal with our son. They were very thorough with explaining our options and addressing any questions or concerns we had with the procedure. A+ experience and all the staff were friendly.

Negative experience: Do not be sick prior to an appointment otherwise you will have to schedule 5-6 months out. Update: please note that during a discussion about treatment for my son Ms.Capozza brought up this Google review. So while she was supposed to be treating my son, a Google review was on her mind.

Fantastic experience: I don't know how anyone could leave less than a 5 star review for this practice. Everyone here has always been clear, informative, helpful, friendly and the cost is fair... well within small business industry standards. Anyone who complains about insurance or in/out of network issues needs to face the pitiful reality of healthcare in the USA. Take it up with your congressional representatives, not with a pediatric dentist office that actually cares about their patients.

Fantastic experience: Kind and helpful staff, great care team, and a wonderfully kid centered atmosphere. Staff was very upfront about payment options and insurance, dental hygienist and dentist were very informative and made sure we understood treatment plans/care and what to expect during the visit. Care was delivered in a timely manner, with minimal wait times. My 2yr old son couldn't have had a better experience. They made him feel comfortable and offered plenty of breaks. Scheduling was easy.

Negative experience: They will kick you out of their practice for missing an appointment… even if you have an unfortunate bout of family deaths

Fantastic experience: I brought my 7 and 5 year old here yesterday for the first time, and they had a great experience! The hygienist took the time to explain each step to my kiddos so they felt comfortable. My 7 year old is Autistic and they made sure to give him a private room so he wouldn’t be overwhelmed or overstimulated. It was nice to go somewhere that was so accommodating! And the staff was very friendly! I would absolutely recommend them!

Negative experience: This practice is set up for maximum throughput with little deference to patient comfort. The sign in is a QR code. Impersonal, but if it works then fine. I told the practice ahead of time that my 2 year old son is quite sensitive and doesn't do well with brushing his teeth. This was his first dentist appointment ever. The waiting room (100% hard surfaces) was packed with 7 kids and 4 adults by the time we got called back and my son was already upset due to the commotion and incredible amount of noise generated by so many people. The hygienist impatiently called us back to a room with 3 exam chairs (and other kids being seen) that was already quite loud. She told my son to sit in the chair, and he immediately got upset and climbed out. She suggested I sit with him, which I did. He quickly climbed out and was visibly upset. I returned him to my lap and he continued to squirm and thrash while the hygienist peppered me with extensive questions I already answered on the new patient forms and while scheduling the appointment. She showed my son the cleaning tool and suggested he touch it. He was wary and unwilling to touch it, so she touched it to his hand and it upset him. She leaned us back and my son started thrashing and crying and the hygienist said "this isn't working. We need to go to the sensory room." I did not know this was an option. My son was clearly uncomfortable from the moment we were called back and this was not proposed as an alternative. I made it clear that brushing teeth is an issue, and he was visibly upset the entire time. In the sensory room, the hygienist said we should use the lap board where we sit knee to knee with the child on the board. It was a struggle to get my son onto the board and I was keeping him from kicking me and rolling off. The hygenist said she could not perform the exam and my son was thrashing and crying. After he got down, the hygienist said several times that sometimes parents hold their arms. I told her that if that's what she needed, then she needs tell me to do that. We tried again and got it done. Dr Lauren Capozza came in to check him and she did a great job with him. My son got a rainbow fidget bracelet prize on the way out, which made him really happy until I got home and realized that the small 1/2" x 1/2" pieces come apart, posing a choking hazard to my newborn so I had to take it away from him. Suggestions for improvement: There are 0 soft surfaces in the entire office. Invest in some acousical dampening panels. Hygienists should consider using the sensory room when a child shows signs of being uncomfortable rather than as a hail Mary last resort. Ask questions to the parents and talk to kids while sitting in chairs rather than exam area if they're already uncomfortable in the exam area. Let kids come to you - if they're not comfortable touching your tools, then don't touch them with it. Parents should be given clear instructions on how to help the process go smoothly. Do not give out prizes that endanger other members of the household. Be compassionate.

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter in for her first appointment today, and it went without a hitch! Emily was so kind and gentle with her, which really helped her (and me!) feel comfortable. I liked that she explained what to look for and how to better care for her teeth. It was super helpful. See you guys in 6 months! Thanks so much!

Negative experience: Such a great experience with our new dentist. The hygienists were lovely, kind, gentle, informative and understanding. Couldn’t be happier with them. Unfortunately, that positive experience was short-lived. After having to cancel three appointments due to illness, we received a letter stating that we would now only be allowed to make same-day appointments. This felt abrupt and disappointing. We completely understand that cancellations can be inconvenient for a practice, and we would have been more than willing to pay any associated cancellation fees. Instead, we were met with a rigid policy and no opportunity for discussion. It felt impersonal and punitive, especially given the fact that we communicated our cancellations and were simply trying to be responsible by not bringing illness into the office. The letter made it clear that flexibility and understanding—qualities we so appreciated during our first visit—were not values the practice consistently upholds. Sadly, this left us with no choice but to leave the practice. It’s unfortunate to walk away from a place where the clinical care was excellent, but patient relationships and communication should matter just as much.

Fantastic experience: My 6 year old started digging at a specific tooth just over a week ago. A visit with the family dentist confirmed a cavity in one of his baby molars that was too deep for them to treat, and we were referred to pediatrics. When the clinic we were referred to didn't answer, I reached out to Loveland pediatric dentistry. A call on Friday had us scheduled the following Monday. Dr. Lauren and her team took the time to really consider different treatment options, and decided the tooth had to come out. We wanted it done as soon as possible so or little boy didn't get an infection or worse pain from the tooth. Dr. Lauren and her team were able to accommodate us the same day, within the hour!! Teeth were cleaned, the naughty tooth removed and packed up for the tooth fairy, and his mouth was scanned for an orthodontic spacer. They did a PHENOMENAL job making a scary treatment as pleasant and comfortable for him as was humanly possible. I am very impressed with Loveland Pediatric Dentistry, and will be returning. Thank you!!

They accommodated my daughter on short notice, did a meticulous diagnosis, the Dr. explained 'root' cause of her discomfort and then fit her in for a hygiene clean as well! All this in a very pleasant and welcoming setting - how wonderful! Oh and all this while dealing with IT issues!

Negative experience: We went in the other day to get my childs teeth cleaned. We had to wait 20 minutes in the waiting room to even get seen! Then we had to wait 20 minutes to get xrays. Finally they did the teeth cleaning with a very nice hygenist. Then the dentist Lauren comes to put on flouride on my child without even asking me beforehand. Every other dentist I have been too has asked me beforehand if we want flouride. My insurance does not pay for flouride every six months and I DO NOT want to pay $40 or more. She then has the audacity to say she will wipe it off after she has already put it on. WHY? What does this prove? They are just trying to nickle and dime you at this place!!! The dentist was extremely RUDE and started shouting at me in front of everyone. In front of my child!! WHO does that? I was very cordial and did not say anything back. We then get a letter that THEY do not want us to go there again. Well Well. I don't want to go there anymore if they treat their customers like this. So rude in front of children. I will gladly be going back to our old pediatric dentist and pay out of pocket, at least I know they treat you with respect and care about my children. Her reply is laughable. I would gladly come over and discuss it in front of your hygenist. She still charged us for the flouride! Now I know I made the right decision to not go back! Please read this review before taking your children here. DONT GO

Negative experience: I would give them zero stars if I could. Very disappointed in this place. I took my son here for his very first dental appointment and they were fabulous. It turned into such a positive experience. Unfortunately, my son's last appointment with them was back in December of 2022 due to my insurance no longer being in network. I was very nervous as to where to go next. THEY gave me recommenations to other dentists who deal with special needs children. We have been going to this other dentist since then. Fast forward to now, my son fell and busted his mouth. I couldn't get him into his current dentist so I called Loveland Pediatric dentistry. I just started a new job and insurance changed. They are back in network which I was so happy to hear and they had an open appointment. Perfect I thought. Xrays were taken and a problem was found. They stated that they could do the procedure or send the xrays to his current dentist for review. With my son being autistic and not liking change, I thought it would be best to have his current dentist perform the procedure as he knows and trusts them. I asked Loveland Pediatric dentistry if they could send the records which they did, but ONLY after sending me a letter stating that they are ending the dentist patient relationship with my son. I was shocked.... I thought this place was more professional than that. When I called to see why I received the letter, I was told that they are not an emergency back up dentist. They letter I got speaks for itself. I have recommended so many people to this place and now I will never recommend them to anyone ever again.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Lauren and her team! Our daughter is 3 yrs old and had to have some pretty extensive work done. Not only did the team make her feel comfortable but they supported us through the entire process. Additionally the outcome of the work looks amazing!

Negative experience: They were not inviting and did not try to make any connection with my son that was very fearful of being there in the first place. There was no trying to ease his fears or patience trying to get X-rays. It was a hustle to go in and to get out. I do not recommend this for a kiddo that is fearful of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: This was by far the best experience we have had in pediatric care (and as a mom who frequents appointments with kiddos, that’s saying a lot). The compassion, professionalism, and quality care were just a few of things we loved. Emily, our hygienist, was amazing with both of our kiddos, especially our youngest, who struggles with medical facilities, SPD, etc. I was blown away by her patience for my kids. The dentist was amazing. She spent time with us, answered our questions, and she was incredibly kind and understanding. We are really thankful we found Loveland Pediatric Dentistry!

Even while getting teeth cleaned they are made to feel important; reminded me of a hair salon with all of the talking.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Loveland Pediatric Dentistry by our orthodontist for a specialized procedure. Dr. Lauren was very nice and personable. She made my daughter (10) feel very relaxed. It was extenuating circumstances, but it was very nice of Dr. Lauren to take complimentary X-rays so she could update those she had on file from 6 months ago. There was a big change in the situation, which ended up being much h cheaper for us! Her honesty and generosity have made us want to switch to her practice permanently.

Fantastic experience: My child is 5yrs old and a new patient at the Loveland Pediatric Dentistry, we came in knowing there might be a potential cavity. After xrays and looking my child's teeth over the dentist and her assistant where very knowledgeable and confident in their treatment plan for my child. All my questions and concerns were answered and we were able to move forward with an unexpected procedure same day. They found a total of 3 cavities. One which needed a silver crown. They took great care of my child and I was able to stay in the room with them and rub my child's leg for comfort. They truly make it as comfortable as they can and encourage the parents to support the children without creating unnecessary fear. The dentist can be a scary place but they are doing a great job breaking those barriers with their small patients. We have another appointment for the last two cavities that will need fillings and my child is not worried or scared to go back. My child has always loved the dentist office and I'm glad to see it will continue even after an appointment that could potentially shift feelings about dentist offices. I would like to also note that with the xray results we have discovered we might need to potentially see an orthodontist in the future depending on how my child's mouth and teeth continue to grow and come in. I appreciate their proactive upfront advice this early on. Small narrow pallets that causes extremely crooked teeth run in my family. Just knowing they already have it on their radar with a start of a plan is very reassuring.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lauren has treated my children with the upmost care, repairing a chipped tooth at the last minute on a Friday afternoon, staying to accommodate us. She is patient and kind and professional. Her office is clean and child friendly. I trust her with all 3 of my boys who all feel comfortable there with her. I frequently recommend her to friends and neighbors on the search for a pediatric dentist!

Negative experience: They are nice and polite when everything goes ok, but if there is any issue, they refuse to take responsibility and try to avoid even a normal conversation. My daughter had a tooth infection after their procedure. We wanted to address this to the doctor in hope she would take any actions or advise anything because we truly trusted her. They did not even want to listen to us, the lady over the phone advised us to go to the ER. So sad to be treated like that when you trusted the "doctor" your child's health and paid almost $4k. We will report.

Negative experience: We have been on this Pedritic for couple time . Dentist were okey but the manager on this office is one of the worse women I ever seen . She has zero customer service, very rude and she wants the patient to pay upfront all the bill before the procedure. I feel like she is very raciest. I would not recommend anyone to this clinic .

Fantastic experience: I am grateful to this whole office. They take their craft seriously and they are fun to be around while doing it. They are endlessly patient. They do not shame but instead encourage kids in the self-care of their teeth and set them up for success. Dr. Capozza is much more skilled than the other dentists we went to in the area before finding this office (and her bedside manner is excellent, which is critical with pediatric care). The most important thing, though, is that as we were leaving our recent appointment my son said, “Everyone here is kind and it really matters that they’re kind.”

From my son’s first appointment as a toddler that was filled with nerves and anxiety, to routine cleanings and a couple restorative procedures, Dr. Lauren has been a savior for my son’s oral health. Dr. Lauren has always been accommodating when there were emergencies and I am extremely thankful that she truly cares for her patients’ wellbeing and acts quickly when it is needed. She has always made sure I understand every detail that is going on with my son’s dental procedures by sharing helpful information/tips and will answer all of my questions which eases any worries. As a fellow mom, I feel comfortable in knowing that Dr. Lauren puts herself into your situation and shares not only her professional opinion but also takes into consideration how you’re feeling as a parent. Negative experience: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. This office is unprofessional and the treatment we received felt very racist. Kirsten was condescending and nasty. I'm excited to share my experience with the Better Business Bureau asap. Per their response below, I have added several 5 star reviews for MANY deserving companies across the country. This practice is by far the WORSE and hopefully will soon be out of business. I am so relieved we located a friendly, professional company to service our family. The safety and care and respect for our family is our top priority. Again, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME visiting this company.

Negative experience: I will NEVER return to this office. I took my toddler here and was told he had a cavity. The dentist proceeded to shame me for still breastfeeding him, saying that caused the cavity and said he should be sleeping through the night at his age. She was completely out of line (apparently she’s also a child sleep specialist - who knew?) and has a horrible bedside manner and zero people skills. And she will also say all of this loudly in a room full of people for everyone to hear. Also kept us waiting for 20 minutes between hygienist and dentist. Parents - please don’t take your kids here unless you want to be shamed and talked down to like you’re a child.

Fantastic experience: My daughter says that this was the best dentist experience she has ever had. We will be bringing both kids back to this office! Worth the 30 minute drive.

Negative experience: Do NOT be fooled by their fancy website and how clean it is. They will clean out your pocket by making you pay up front for every service they provide. I made a specific appointment and when walking in they refused to do what I made the appointment for and added several other things to their time with my son. They refused to extract his teeth when it’s been something that has been send to Dr. Capozza over a year ago and she refuses to do it. If you want to pay lots of money then I would highly recommend this dentist! She will nickel and dime you for everything. Glad we decided to leave after hearing horror stories from friends about service and how they bill insurance. I had to put a star because in order to leave a review you have to!

Negative experience: In response to the dentist office reply: If you had done your due diligence with contacting the insurance company, you would have already known what they would cover. Instead, you assumed what they would cover then blame the insurance for your negligence. No, you can't blame the insurance for this one. I'm glad you have the calls recorded and that you still aren't willing to fess up to your mistakes. Loveland Pediatric Dentistry slogan: "Die with the lie" Severely disappointed :( Unfortunately, Dr. Anthony Kamp retired and we were forced to find a new pediatric dentist for my 3 boys. My youngest boy needed 2 fillings which were discovered by Dr. Kamp right before he retired. I went to work calling around to see who would evaluate. Dr. Capozza's office said the evaluation would be free which was enough to sway me to come in with my son. I miss Dr. Kamp more than ever now. Everything was wrong. Evaluation wasn't free ($111 for an 8 min discussion about fillings) followed by $377 and $310 for fillings (in case you want to know rough estimates for charges without insurance). Even after insurance coverage (which I have a great dental plan), we owed $111 for the evaluation (which is NOT free as stated before) and another $158.80 for 2 fillings (which is also $49 more than their original estimate). I will say that we did not experience any issues during the fillings with Dr. Capozza. But the billing department is in serious need of training. I previously worked in the insurance industry and the billing statement from their office is incomprehensible. Which means, I have a lot of homework now to try and figure out what in the world they actually did. Quick comparison: we had a root canal earlier this year on the same insurance plan which was $235 out of pocket. I pulled an old invoice from Dr. Kamp and for similar services, we paid $75 out of pocket. $269.80 vs $75 and no hassle. In conclusion, we will continue to search for a replacement that can live up to Dr. Kamp's service and reliability b/c we clearly did NOT find it here. They absolutely refused to cover even the $111 evaluation fee that I originally understood to be "free". I am definitely paying for my mistake of trusting this office. Good luck!

Fantastic experience: Our hygienist (nancy) and Dr Lauren were friendly and awesome as usual!! Beautiful sparkly clean office with movies for the littles and toys after the appointment. My 2.5 yr old loves the dentist! We highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Capozza and her assistants seem to really care for the well-being of their patients. I felt that that she genuinely cared for my child and wasn’t seeing him as a way to make money. She was very thorough in her explanations with any concerns I had. I will be taking my kids there again!

Negative experience: Completely money focused practice. Our insurance is out of network and we pay the difference of $9 each visit. We switched to an "in-network" insurance, according to their front office, and come to find that they recently dropped their "in-network" insurance so it is no longer considered in network. At our next appointment we found out that our cost increased to us paying $150-$200 ($355 without insurance!!!) for a simple cleaning. We declined the service (we had shown up for the appointment) so they charged us a $35 cancelation fee. They no longer accept most major insurances and have risen their prices way more than other practices - They run a money focused operation. response to their response: The amount covered for out-of-network dentists by our 2 insurance companies for a yearly checkup is similar, yet what we would be charged by this practice increased from $9 to $150 or more from one visit to the next. Something does not add up, and charging a cancelation fee when I did show up for the appointment (but declined service when I was told my bill increased from $9 to $150 or more) signals that you do not care about retaining patients or working to address an issue. Note that all the negative reviews from this practice have come in the last few months. I have been taking my children to them for years, but recent changes and their unwillingness to work with me have made me look for a new provider. They were once good, not sure what changed, but a very different place now. Apparently I am not the only one who thinks this.

They explain everything to kids and parents in a way that everyone can understand and have excellent bedside manner. We love this office and always have a great experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Loveland Pediatric Dentistry was hands down the best office I’ve ever been to. The office staff was so helpful when booking appointments before I even made it to the office! When we were at the office the office staff went above and beyond- even finding an appointment for my daughter today instead of having to come back next week, without me even asking! The dental hygienists (we had Emily and Suzanne) were so friendly and great with my two children (3 and 5). This was my 3 year olds first visit and they were so patient with her and her many questions. Dr. Lauren was also wonderful. She answered all of my children’s questions and was so thorough in her explanations. Everything about this office was so well thought out. It’s such a cute space and very welcoming for kids. The attention to detail was unmatched from the chalk-wall, prize wall, and sunnies, to all the toothpaste flavors that children just love! Such a wonderful experience!

Negative experience: Horrible business practices, would not recommend. Also, this dentist's procedures are very aggressive. I had 2 other dentists options and Dr Lauren pulled several teeth that didn't actually need pulled. Will never return!!!!

Fantastic experience: My kids love wearing the fun sunglasses and watching the ceiling tvs while getting their teeth cleaned! It's a fun kid-friendly atmosphere, the staff is great and you can tell they love working with kids. And my kids love the prizes- cars, bath toys, bubbles- they are legit!!

Fantastic experience: 2nd visit update: original review still stands. Everyone here is amazing and it's a fantastic, low pressure experience. **************** My preschooler has a moderate amount of doctor anxiety. Combine that with his incredibly inquisitive nature and he can be a tough patient. The staff here is AMAZING. They were so patient, showed him around the office before taking him to his chair and spent the time to answer (and offer demonstrations for) every single question he asked. And I promise you, he asked A LOT of questions. I am so glad we found this office and it will be our home dentist until we move or age out.

Negative experience: If you plan to have any questions or plan to be involved in the dental plans, DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! Dr Lauren apparently thinks it's a trust issue if you ask or inquire about anything. Our experience started out amazing, then by the 3rd or 4th visit Dr. Lauren completely changed her attitude.

Fantastic experience: Today was our first time at Loveland Pediatric Dentistry and we were so happy with our experience! My daughter who is 5 years old loved her hygienist Emily. Dr. Lauren was also very nice. They were very patient with her and I couldn’t have been more pleased with how nice they treated her! I also really appreciated the kid-like atmosphere with the movies playing, the fun decor and gifts at the end of the appointment. My daughter left so happy and excited to come back. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: We love it here!! After visiting other pediatric dentist offices we were quoted for unnecessary treatments. We came to Loveland Pediatric Dentist office and its been wonderful! The procedural quotes are always given up front and the staff is so sweet and kind! One of my children has a heart condition that impacts dental procedures and xray machines. They have worked great with us and always proceeded with caution when needed. My kids love the free toys too! Such a great atmosphere!
