Negative experience: This isn’t a dental service any more. Health forms are a burden that couldn’t possibly be of 8% use. Patient service has become impersonal, I get better from my oil change guy. Procedures seem so mechanistic I doubt any dentist or clinician cares much. A full time finance specialist!! And a cancel fee?? This isn’t a medical provider, it’s a business that uses dentistry as a vehicle for accumulation of wealth.

Fantastic experience: I had a broken tooth in need of a crown. The office fit me in the very day I called for an evaluation. Dr Tam determined I would be best served by a crown. She reviewed her recommendation in detail & I agreed. Unfortunately, the next available appointment for the 2.5 hour procedure was a distant 3 weeks later. Two weeks later, Sarah, one of her schedulers, called to share an appointment had opened up that afternoon; I accepted. Upon arriving, her desk staff communicated my arrival to her clinical staff. In the end, I can’t enough in praises and accolades for Dr Tam & Crystal, her assistant. They were excellent in so many ways: communication, empathy, skill, and instruction. I intend to have all of my future dental needs met here!

Fantastic experience: A three year crown came off. Dr Tamm saw me, made a new crown and two days later my teeth were back to normal. The White Pine Dental personnel are all very friendly, professional and caring. The crown replacement was covered by warranty and no cost to me. I am a very satisfied patient.

Negative experience: The staff and service here are great but I was recently quoted $97 for a cleaning but the bill was almost $300. I am incredibly disappointed and will need to find another dentist. I wish everyone there the best but I need to know costs ahead of time.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to white pine dental for a few years now and it has been nothing but pleasant! Dr Tam is thorough and efficient. All the staff is so sweet and very nice. Flexible schedule and easy. I actually like the dentist now! Wendy is always so sweet too! When I had my first cavity the hygenist held my hand and helped me through my anxiety.

Fantastic experience: Everyone I interacted with was courteous and professional. Was in for routine cleaning and exam. Kaitlin did nice job on cleaning and Dr. Tam seemed very thorough on exam and explained everything very clearly. Very efficient process setting up next appointment and running bill through insurance. Also office is very clean with nice lighting. Dog video was a hoot!

Fantastic experience: Extremely professional and thorough in examination. I had to visit during the Covid-19 outbreak, the office was extremely clean and all protective measures are being practiced! BEST dentist I’ve ever been to. Glad to join Cowgill as a patient! Also, the blue sky murals on exam room ceilings and massaging dental chairs and soft music make this a pleasant experience! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was going here for routine dental care shortly after moving to the area. I had to part ways for some time due to insurance issues but I recently returned to this facility once I got new insurance which was largely due to me wanting to come back to this provider specifically. It's a very clean facility, staff all seem knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. The room I was seen in had a TV with a dog show on it, which I enjoyed. I'm happy to be back here!

Fantastic experience: White Pine Dental has the literal greatest hygenists, dental assistants and receptionists I've ever encountered, and Dr. Tam is absolutely wonderful. I have battled severe dental anxiety my entire life, and the people at White Pine have had one of the biggest parts in helping me make progress with that anxiety, to the point where I have tackled every dental issue I had before I started going there- largely because of the kindness and support I always receive from them. They are the best, and I would give them 5 stars any day of the week!

Positive experience: I had a tooth that needed pulled and they got me in on a very short notice. Also did a great job to get me out of pain asap. The only problem I had was my bill. It was my understanding that it was 300 to pull the tooth yet billed my insurance 704$. I had no out of pocket expense but I only have 4000$ a year coverage. That being said I have a lot of Dental issues that need to be taking care of and will probably have them do it as they took good care of me. I just need to know what the actual cost will be before it's done not after so I can decide what to do next. Over all the experience I had with the staff and Dentist was very good.

I judge a lot by the way the dentist treats the person they’re working with and she was great to her and to me. Great experience despite what I was there for! lol I give 5 stars all day!

It was my first appointment I had set up by myself after turning 18 and I knew I wanted to switch the dentist I had been going to growing up because they were more money driven rather than patient driven. They had been so helpful with everything and allowed me to really feel comfortable and cared for.

Fantastic experience: Wow. This is the best dental experience I’ve had. From the first phone call, the staff were on top of making sure I was set for my first appt. I walked in and was kindly greeted - very clean environment. Offered beverages. The staff were so friendly! They had TVs with calming videos playing. They had massage chairs that you get to recline in. The dentist even hummed/sang while doing her quick inspection - all was intentional in providing a safe, quick, and calm experience! Thank you!

Negative experience: So incredibly unprofessional. We went here when it was Cowgill Dental and booked appointments hoping that the care and treatment would be at least similar. NOT the case. The front office staff was so very nice and accommodating, which is why the one-star. And that’s where it ended. The Hygienist (Shannon) and the Dentist, Dr. Tam Au, were unbelievably condescending, dramatic and disrespectful to me as a mom. Not only that, but they made my young daughter feel scared and unsafe. And this was consistently shown over three appointments. The Dentist would lay out a plan and then, when I jumped through the hoops, changed her mind. All the while saying, “if this was my daughter….” We’re done with this office. I work hard everyday to provide amazing dental care for my kids and White Pine Dental is not a place I’d ever want anyone to go to. If you want a pleasant, comfortable, understanding and supportive dental care office, this is not the place to go.

Negative experience: It was not a very good experience. I was given a shot to numb the area, but I experienced extreme sharp pain. I won't go there again. There must be other dentists that practice gentle dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I had a large abscess that needed to be removed and Dr. Sylvester removed it in office. I was terrified because it was painful and I was rejected by Gunderson oral surgery. The ladies in the front (Wendy especially!!!) and the hygienists were so kind! Dr. Sylvester made me comfortable and the process was pain free. It’s been 24 hrs since the procedure and I feel like a new human! No pain at the extraction site and no pain in my face in jaw that comes with tooth removal. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED going to this office and Dr. Sylvester personally, my entire family now has upcoming appointments! Big city care in our small town—I’m so thankful and grateful!!!
