Fantastic experience: Dr. Perez and the entire staff were exceptionally patient and kind to my elderly mother-in-law, who was nervous about the procedure. They had her in and out in an hour, and she had very little swelling or soreness in the aftermath.

Fantastic experience: I had such an incredible visit with Dr. Perez. Despite of the circumstances of having to get an extraction and implant- if it had to be done- he is the one you would want to go to….Hands down!! My visit started with Melissa who took the time to explain everything to me. She was very sensitive to the fact that I have major anxiety- and she walked me thru everything. Then Dr. Perez came in. He was soooo nice. He takes his time with you and is very kind and patient. He answered my questions and explained everything to me. He understood my fear and reassured me everything was going to be okay. I’m not looking forward to the procedure itself, however I am looking forward to Dr. Perez handling everything. I’m confident with a positive outcome and very happy I was referred to him.

Fantastic experience: During my recent dental appointment my dentist noticed a lesion on my gum line. I was recommended to go to Nu-Image but because of scheduling I had to schedule an appointment for August, but I requested to be waitlisted for a sooner appointment. Fortunately, one became available, and I was able to be seen earlier. The office was transparent about payment arrangements, informing me that insurance would be billed after the visit and procedure if needed. The office was clean, and the doctor and assistants were very friendly and informative. I recently moved from California, and I was very impressed with the service I received. I genuinely felt like I was seeing a friend for advice. They explained the procedure, provided aftercare information, and even contacted me to check on my progress. They were able to remove the lesion during the same appointment and sent it for biopsy. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service provided. Thank you team for your service!

Negative experience: This office has caused me 2 significant lasting problems since my surgeries. I’ve had 2 surgeries with Dr. Perez. The first where I got 2 extractions, I’m now unable to become numb by any local medications in the area of one of my extractions which is quite a problem to have as I have other dental work I need there. I had no previous problem with that whatsoever. The second surgery where I got the implant posts placed, I got a massive blood clot in my arm from shoulder to elbow from the IV and had to go on blood thinners for months. I also have had constant pain in that arm and shoulder ever since the surgery (been almost a year now) that has resulted in me unable to sleep on that side, exercise, lift weights, etc. Melissa or Alyssa is the name of the tech that did my IV. Would not recommend you use her whatsoever. I told her that day when she was placing the IV that she was really hurting me and she said that was part of the process. It is very disheartening to go in for help with my teeth and leave with unrelenting problems to my arm along with being unable to get numb for necessary dental treatment. I miss kayaking , paddle boarding, and exercising. I had zero issues with my arm and shoulder prior to this surgery. Highly recommend you get your implants done elsewhere .

Fantastic experience: I had several extractions done at once, at the Wake Forest office. Staff and surgeons were friendly, answered all questions, billed my insurance for me, and calmed my nerves. The experience was a very good one. I had no pain, afterwards. I didn’t even need OTC pain relievers. I had no swelling, no bruising and very little tenderness. I do recommend them.

From the moment you walk into a bright spacious waiting room and all the front desk personnel greeting you with welcoming smiles, you feel comfortable. Christi Lovy was my surgical assistant. She was very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate and did a thorough pre evaluation and assisted Bill Konicki DMD with my tooth extraction. They were patient, compassionate and informative throughout the procedure. I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and kindness that I received at this facility. If I need this type of care in the future, I will be going back to NUiMAGE. Many thanks to everyone there.

They were just so nice and helpful, and called even after I got home to see if I was doing OK!! And they give ice cream!! The good kind!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jorge E. Perez Santos, his hygienist, and the entire staff at Nu Image is beyond exceptional!!! They all were kind, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable! Nobody wants to have oral surgery, but if you have to have it, believe me, you want Dr. Perez in the captain’s chair and Miss Reese at his side! I had a molar in the bottom in the back of my mouth removed and he numbed me in the right spaces and I did not feel any pain!!! I was up and alert during the entire procedure and when I tell you I have no words to describe his and Miss Reese’s impeccable bedside manner!! From the beginning to end every encounter with every employee was exceptional! And oh…. The parting gift bag included a custom ice pack and your choice of premium ice cream - vanilla or chocolate ☺️

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous about having the procedure done and opt out of getting the sedation, and so glad I did as the experience was not bad at all and they made me comfortable throughout the whole process.

Positive experience: I liked the fact that they were readily available for surgery on the day that my daughter needs her wisdom teeth extracted. Not a big issue but I have to make sure that they send the right prescription to the correct pharmacy though. I clearly said where but unfortunately, i had to call them again to make sure it was sent to the correct pharmacy location. Overall, they were great!

Fantastic experience: Love, love Dr. Tomack . I have such anxiety when getting major dental work, often opting for nitrous oxide or deep sedation. Last year I had LANAP done & team was great. Yesterday, I had osseous surgery with local anesthesia only. Hands down Dr. Tomack administered the best local anesthesia injection ever! Surgery went very well & his assistant, Ke'osha, took great care of me & both had compassion & patience with my anxiety. Also, Kirsten aided willingly when Dr. Tomack & Ke'osha needed a hand. Thanks to everyone for making this a better experience! P.S. I loved the music!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tomack did laser gum surgery yesterday and it all went well. Dr Tomack, Patti, Kenosha & Kirsten are all very kind and compassionate. They make one of my least favorite things to do doable. The Dr. even called later that night to see how I was doing.

Fantastic experience: This office and its staff are amazing! I recently had a gum graft procedure and everyone on the team made sure I was comfortable and cared for throughout the entire process. I am grateful for the personal care I received and would highly recommend this office to anyone.

Positive experience: I went in feeling very confident about getting my two lower wisdom teeth extracted but I regret doing it. I was told by Dr. Perez to expect the healing process to be longer due to my age and it has been rough to say the least. The entire team was kind and courteous before the procedure and made sure that I felt comfortable so that is why I am not giving a super low rating. I am two weeks post-op and still swollen on one side with no feeling on my lower left teeth gums, lip and chin. I don’t blame the surgical team for this as I was told to expect it. I’m giving three stars because it has been two weeks and no one has called to ask how things are going. Maybe that is standard but if I was told that healing would likely take longer than usual and that my nerve(s) might be hurt due to the position the wisdom tooth was in, why not call to see how the patient is doing. I have contacted them with my questions (left a message) and will see how it goes from here.

They let me know exactly what was going to happen, broke down cost, and gave me the assurance I needed to not be nervous. The biggest shoutout to Dr. Konicki who did an amazing job, little to no pain today— minimal swelling. Braxton, who assisted getting everything ready, assisted with the procedure—made me feel very comfortable and was very informative. His bedside manner was top notch. Also have to shout out Dominique who also assisted, she was very sweet! I didn’t get everyone’s name but literally everyone that I spoke with were super nice and personable. Thank you Nuimage, I will definitely be recommending you to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Literally the easiest dental surgery experience of my life. I had a front tooth pulled (notorious for being a painful spot for needles and sutures). With Dr. Tomack, alongside Kirsten and Patti, I literally felt nothing but small vibrations and pressure. Skilled and efficient, patient with questions and anxious patients, and a quality of care that had me highly impressed. Also, accepts Delta Dental and a good range of insurances, so very accessible. Anything y'all need done surgically, please make Nu Image your first choice. (PS: Ice cream and an ice pack is a nice touch)

Fantastic experience: Speaking as someone slightly terrified by dentists, I could not have had a better experience than at Nu Image. Dr. Konicki explained everything in detail and Christi was so kind and considerate, which I especially appreciated as I’d never experienced general anesthesia before. The staff clearly care a lot about their patients. The last time I had a wisdom tooth out at a different clinic, my face was swollen like a brick for a week and I was in a lot of pain. After my surgery at Nu Image there was no swelling and it was hard to believe I’d even had a tooth out! Billing is transparent and there were no surprises. I cannot recommend this office enough.

Fantastic experience: I was treated very professionaly and with extremely skilled dentists. Both Dr. Kiniki and Ryan demonstrated their expertise in the extraction of a fractured #13 tooth. I opted to do a local anesthesia to actually experience and witness the pain-free procedure handled with care and confidence. This was my second visit to NuImage and,if needed, will not be my last. Well done and completely satisfied.

I think the nurse that took us back was Megan, she was so kind and reassuring.The relief he felt immediately after the procedure was amazing. And he got icecream! They really went out of their way to help us out of a bad situation. The doctor called my husband to check up on him a few hours after surgery as well. They really care about their patients. Fantastic experience: NuImage is a great practice with amazing staff. I developed a toothache that was the result of a failed root canal. The tooth had to be extracted. This happened close to my long-planned trip, and it was the very first time I had to have a tooth extracted not counting my wisdom teeth when I was put to sleep. I was extremely concerned and nervous. The entire staff was great. The front desk assistant was very helpful with the paperwork. Erica, the surgical assistant, showed so much compassion and understanding and made me feel so much better. She provided all the options and reassured me that they would take great care of me no matter what I chose. Dr. Perez was the same way. They worked me fast in their schedule. The actual extraction could not have gone any better. Dr. Perez’s assistant, Georgiana, went through all the prep steps skillfully and caringly. Dr. Perez performed the procedure with incredible ease and at the same time caried on a very pleasant conversation. Everything went smoothy and it was over in no time. I am so grateful that they took such great care of me and that everything went well. I highly recommend the NuImage.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful office. Braxton was awesome with us in the wake forest office! Early mornings are rough but he explained everything to us, very friendly and comforted my anxious teen about her impacted wisdom teeth! Even got her IV the first try! Thanks a bunch guys!

Fantastic experience: to summarize: I had a gum graft & this place is worth every penny long version: I am a very anxious person when it comes to oral sugery due to trauma in the past with my mouth. I had a gum graft with a different doctor in Aug 2023 and he recommended donor tissue and when it didn't take he just brushed me off like a crumb on his shoulder (Dr David Adams Perio in Garner). I kept asking if what was happening was normal and he insisted it was "fine" and scheduled no follow-ups. Since then I had 2 dentists and 1 hygienist tell me I needed to get the procedure and when I told them I already had it ALL of them were shocked. Dr Tomack & his team have taken amazing care of me. The dressing placed on my palate stayed the 2 weeks and I felt zero severe pain only needing advil for pain mgmt. They even told me if the dressing fell off that they could replace it. The night of the sugery Dr Tomack called me himself to check on me whereas the other doc I had messaged just to say thank you and didn't even get a response. I was moderately sedated and didn't feel a thing. If you are considering getting a gum graft I highly recommend Nu Image with Dr Tomack in Wake Forest. He is very thorough and it's so worth it!

Fantastic experience: It’s not fun going to see the dentist. My anxiety kicks in tremendously! As soon as I walked in, before making it to the counter, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. The receptionist said my name as if I’d been there before and it was my first time. When I was escorted to the room and met with Dr Tomack and his assistant, the hospitality shined even more. Both of them helped to ease the anxiety and thoroughly explained the treatment I needed and provided me with what each phase would be. My last dental visit with another office did not even come close to this one. As a matter of fact, they gave me incorrect information which is why I’m glad I opted to get a second opinion. Fantastic experience: I got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr.Perez and it was great. The women who prepped me before was amazing to, couldn’t catch her name, but was a very nice and comforting person before my surgery. I recovered so well and I truly had a great expirience. The only “issue” is the front desk. The women that work up there are very rude and have bad attitudes. If you are gonna work the front desk at least be kind. Overall, the surgery and recovery was amazing; the front desk staff is rude and very aggravating to talk to.

Fantastic experience: If I could give a million stars, I would! Dr.Konicki’s team is amazing, specifically Morgan and Amber. I’ve had IV sedation two previous times, but for some reason, I was very nervous today. Amber held my hand while Morgan placed my IV, and Morgan reassured me by telling me her own experiences with being nervous for sedation. Fantastic experience: This is the second gum graft I had done with Dr Tomack. Both surgeries were pain free for me. He is a wonderful dr and his nurses are just as great! He even calls the evening of to make sure your doing ok.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Nu Image Surgical from my general dentist for LANAP. I can honestly say I was a little nervous about the whole surgery but the assistant and doctors made the experience 100x better. Amy was absolutely fantastic, great sense of humor, polite, and friendly, this played a big role before the actual surgery to ease my nerves. Justin, Patti, and Jeremy were part of the actual surgery, and they were so awesome and professional, I did not feel anything at all. They all made this experience smooth and seamless. The night of the surgery, Justin the periodontist, called me at home and wanted me to make sure I was OK and if I needed anything, this made me feel so good inside. I'd recommend this place to anyone needing to see a periodontist.

Negative experience: Okay, so I guess my first review was removed since I don't seeit anymore. I guess this is one of those sites that only posts positive reviews. I can give a positive review of the dental service I received; however, the financial staff leaves alot to be desired. I kept getting different amounts for the cost of my visits (for all 3 visits). I was also unsuccessful in getting in contact with anyone to discuss this until I posted my previous less than positive review. It should be noted that I still never got a call that was promised to discuss why there was an issue with the cost of my service each time I visited; despite being told that I would receive a call before the end of the day of my last visit. But I did receive a call after my last negative review to discuss whether my insurance had been submitted, as I had to pay out of pocket. I was told that it had been, but my insurance company stated that it had not been. NuImage said that it would be resubmitted again (hmmmm). That was over 2 weeks ago and I have not received a call to confirm that it was resubmitted and what was the status. Each time I call, I am forwarded to voice mail to leave a message - never speaking to a live person. SUCKS!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but my wisdom teeth extraction was as pleasant as it could possibly be. Dr. Perez and his team are absolute magicians. I stressed and stressed over this procedure for a month prior to my appointment. For years prior, I kept denying dentists of removing my wisdom teeth because I was terrified. Honestly, I’m glad I waited because I don’t think I would ever receive the care I received at Nu Image. Dr. Perez removed all four of my impacted wisdom teeth with grace and care. I woke up from IV sedation actually happy and relieved that I had gotten this done. I experienced very little pain, wouldn’t even call it pain. More just soreness/tenderness. Also very little swelling. I’m honestly shocked at how little discomfort I felt these past 5 days. Everyone told me that this would be rough because of my age. (32) I am so thankful for Dr. Perez and his wonderful assistants (I’m so sorry I can’t remember their names, but they made me feel calm and safe the entire procedure) for making this experience very easy. And thank you to Erica who was so kind, sweet, and patient with me and my several questions about the procedure. I’d absolutely recommend this practice to anyone in the future.

Fantastic experience: My son had to have his 4 wisdom teeth pulled and we only had 2 days left of dental insurance and Nu Image was very accommodating from the phone call to make the appointment until the end when we left the office we were pleased with their wonderful customer service. The staff at the Wake Forest location and oral surgeon Dr Perez were fantastic! My son had no swelling or complications as they were very thorough with medications and instructions. Also drinking pineapple juice the day before helped as well! Thank you so much to them all!

Fantastic experience: My experience for June the 20th 2024 with surgery Dr W.Konicki and staff was a wonderful experience. Everything was handled professionally and the doctor called me after surgery. As he said, the staff was just so wonderful and so caring and in good spirit which helped me be in good spirit. They've performed two extractions. I would recommend them to other patients. The five star speaks for itself. Thank you all. Fantastic experience: I experienced the best cared for dental Periodontist treatment that I would have imagined.The entire staff from start to finish expressed concern for my comfortability and assurance that I would be fine, while performing the laser surgery. Fantastic experience: I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with NuImage Wake Forest. Despite being apprehensive about undergoing Crown Lengthening, Dr. Justin Tomack and his assistants (Sheyanne and Patti) made my visit incredibly pleasant, comfortable, and informative. Their level of care left me thoroughly impressed, especially when Dr. Tomack called me after hours to check on my well-being. I'm used to receiving follow-up calls from staff members, so his genuine concern was remarkable. The procedure was challenging due to the position of the tooth in the back, but they encouraged me throughout, praising me as a wonderful and awesome patient. I expected significant swelling, bruising, and bleeding, but experienced very little of all three. While I hope to avoid another Crown Lengthening, if the need arises, I wouldn't consider any other NuImage office for my dental care. Thank you to the entire team for providing excellent care. Fantastic experience: I will be the first to admit that I’m a terrible dental/periodontal patient and not easy to deal with. I had to get him grafting done and Cheyenne and Patti were amazing with me and helped work through my anxiety and made me feel as comfortable as one could get for a gum grafting. Dr. Tomack did my grafting and he was just as amazing with me. Really took the time to explain everything and work through all my concerns and emotions about this. Overall great experience!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure and blessing of meeting Dr Perez on a recent dental mission trip to Puerto Rico. It was awesome watching him teach the students from the university of Kentucky as the team served the community of Rio Grande Little did I know upon my return I would have issues with a broken crown that would turn into and extraction and future implant. I called Dr Perez and he immediately got me in. When I walked in his front office staff was amazing and super friendly. As you can imagine nobody like surgery especially oral surgery but when the brought me back I met Brie, Dr Perez’s assistant. Also amazing and extremely thorough. She made me feel right at home. It was like talking to an old friend. When Dr Perez came in he gave me the run down and recommendations. The good, the bad and the ugly but at the end of the day it was up to me. I went with the extraction / bone graft for future implant. No surprises on the procedure or the costs. I felt immediate relief from the tooth pain and will see the fine Dr in a few months. My experience was excellent and I would highly recommend their team. Glad I met him in the mission field

Fantastic experience: Dr. Bill Konicki is very skillable and reliable physician. I got wisdom tooth extraction this afternoon with local anesthesia, the procedure took less than 5 minutes, no pain at all. Afterwards, no additional bleeding occurred, I only use one gauze pad and bleeding stop just a few minutes after the surgery. The pain afterwards too. I highly recommend him.
