Positive experience: We have been coming to the same dentist for a very long time we love Dr Graham she is amazing more friendly than the dr we saw it was a guy. I hope Dr Graham is still with the practice. Dr Graham let's us know what she finds and what should be done . This Dr was very short with explaining and very dry with stuff. .

Fantastic experience: Kelvin is almost 14 and enjoys going to the dentist!This office is Ahhhhhmazing . My advice to anyone, get them started early and develop a normal routine. He's never had any issues and never had a cavity! Same post every year! I'm thankful he's developed a great dental routine❤️✌

Negative experience: I have always enjoyed bringing my child to this establishment. This last appointment I was very disappointed. The young man that assisted my child need needs more training. The assistant was very unsanitary.

Fantastic experience: 2 kids great service.

Negative experience: After visiting the dentist twice for my children, the wait both times was 45 minutes to an hour- one with a 21 month old. By the time you see the dentist, you are tired and exhausted from the wait, that the care they provide doesn't matter. I suggest work on schedule and reduce wait time for children and toddlers. Do not have plans or other appointments when going here. If you are expecting to be out within an hour, you can forget it. They are not considerate of customers time.

Fantastic experience: We did enjoy the speed of the services, the front desk staff and how all is taken care if at the beginning of services (the next appointment, doctors note if needed, and any payment or paperwork) the new dental techs and their friendliness (I do miss our old tech), as well as the new dentist (he was very attentive, fast and kind). Fantastic experience: It was a great experience. My first time there. They were very Good and gentle with my grandson who has down syndrome. They explained everything that he had in every step they had to take. I recommend them very highly.

Fantastic experience: They let me schedule 3 of my kids for appointments at the same time. The waiting room and check up chairs have movies playing and my kids love that! They also love getting the coin reward to collect a prize of their choice at the end of the visit. My kids might be weird, but they always want to go back to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I’ve had to date. Idk if it’s the new staff (I’ve been coming for 2 years and haven’t seen these people before), because I haven’t ever been in and out in 25 min before. It used to take over an hour to an hour and a half just to get a cleaning done.. LOVED Dr Ramirez. Quick, precise, and to the point. Our hygienist was the same, very professional and knowledgeable! Whatever they’re doing keep it up!

Fantastic experience: I'm blown away with the whole crew. My daughter had a dental infection and instead of blowing me off and telling me to go to urgent care and they'll see me in 3 months, they fit us in for a consultation within 24hrs and set up a plan. The doctor was nice and very informative with our choices, and made my daughter feel at ease. Dentists are scary for anyone, but kids can be traumatized for life with a bad experience. I'm really happy I found this place. It's a bit of a drive for me but totally worth it.

Positive experience: I have been going to Dr Graham for years and it's always a pleasant experience for myself and our children. However there is a young lady that emailed me with the wrong child's information and then was a little nasty over the phone with me the following day. I was highly disappointed in this behavior since this has been our practice for over 11 yrs and I've never experienced this before.

Positive experience: Good morning, this experience was different than before. We arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled appointment time at 3:30pm. My children and I waited 35 minutes before being called back, without any explanation of being behind or an apology. The dental tech was moving rather slow and after both kids had their X-rays done, we sat for a few more minute before anything else happened. Watching 3 other techs walk around cleaning things, we had one working with both kids. By the time the dentist examined my kids , it was nearly 50 minutes after our actual appointment time. I want to say that I am one who usually gives grace in these situations, but I also know that if we were to show up 30-40 minutes past our scheduled time, we would have been told we need to reschedule. I had to call and reschedule a teacher meeting that was made for 4:45pm because of the push back. I just ask that there be a little more attention to the tone and schedule of your patients families as well. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Our child started with crippling anxiety and they worked extremely well with her. After multiple visits she's improved so much and they continue to work with her when needed. The front desk has been a bit busy/chaotic a couple of times we have been here. This could be just the time of year or time of day we were there or something specific going on. Even with the busyness the front desk is very professional and easy to work with.

Fantastic experience: I fully appreciate the support and effort offered to make my son’s visit successful. We are trying to avoid anesthesia when possible. This visit accomplished that goal.

Negative experience: Their dental practice is nice once you are there, but getting seen is ridiculously difficult, even if you are an established patient. Several of my children had to wait MONTHS to get fillings (which got worse in the meantime), and it is just a bit sad that they are so busy with adding new patients (presumably, since it was not always this way) that they cannot care for their established ones. Dr. G-M and her staff are generally nice and it is a clean establishment with up to date technology.

Fantastic experience: They do well with children with special needs and if something is not working as far as your child being uncomfortable they will move to the next procedure I really appreciate this staff an company.

They explain step by step processes so the kids feel comfortable and communicate well with parents. I appreciate your bedside manner and flexibility to meet kids where they are at in their dental journey without shame or guilt.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever! My child had a consultation. We showed up more than 30 mins early (thought appt was at 11am) but was actually 1130am. The receptionist with disgust was like oh your appointment is 1130, placed my paperwork on counter and dissappeared. Only saw her again when I was leaving the office. Had to wait another 30 mins after the actual appt time and this was after I got upset and questioned twice if my child would be seen.I sat and observed multiple persons come in after 11am , attended to immediately but was told I have to send in all my 11am appts before you. Now its examination time only to realize that the consult information was not obtained from referring dental office. Had to call to get paperwork sent over which was sent while on the telephone. Keep in mind this appt was made by Peds Dental Specialist two months before. I was never offered a school note had to call and drive back to the office for it. By this time my son was so frustrated and complained he waited so long just for the dentist to check his mouth (less than 3 mins) and he missed his lunch time and the Christmas sing a long concert he had to attend. It has been days now and my son still complains about this experience.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with my visit. My child had an 11:30 a.m. appointment, and I arrived before 11:00 a.m. (mistakenly thinking the appointment was at 11). Despite being early, I still had to sit and wait an additional 27 minutes past our scheduled time—only after I became upset and asked if my child would even be seen today. While waiting, I observed several patients arrive after 11:00 a.m. who were quickly checked in ahead of us. When I questioned this, the receptionist told me, “I have to check in all my 11:00 a.m. appointments, and your appointment is 11:30 a.m.” The dismissive tone and lack of transparency were unacceptable. What made the experience even worse was being told at check-in that the referral paperwork had not been received—despite this appointment being scheduled almost two months ago. I had to personally call my dental office to have the paperwork emailed over while standing in the lobby. Additionally, unlike the other parents who arrived after us, I was not offered a school note for my child. I had to call back afterward to request one. To top it all off, my child ended up missing lunch and the school Christmas sing-along because of this disorganized and frustrating visit.

Fantastic experience: We attend the Hampton location. We were referred by our Pediatrician. We sat longer than usual in the waiting room but they were very busy on that day. The experience from start to finish is amazing. The staff is polite, professional, patient, and extremely helpful. My child will be a patient here until she ages out. I wish they serviced adults because I would become a patient. Kudos to Dr. Graham and her ENTIRE STAFF! Continue provide stellar dental care and stellar customer service and professionalism

Fantastic experience: My son has been seeing Dr. Graham-Montaque for years, and now that he has turned 18, he still wants to see her. Dr. Graham-Montaque makes connections with her patients, helping them feel completely comfortable.

Positive experience: We have been going here for years and have always liked Dr Graham but nowadays it’s very hard to be seen as she’s very busy and booked all the time. The wait time is very long and she is never on time. My kids have waited in the chair hooked up to gas for over 30 minutes past their appt time to have their treatments done.

Negative experience: My recent visit had its positives, particularly the kind and patient dental hygienist. However, I was very disappointed with the billing process. We visited in June, and it seems there may have been an insurance issue. We were not informed of this until September of the following year, which was too late to resolve the problem and resulted in unexpected costs for us, despite having paid for our insurance. While I understand insurance can be complex, I believe practices should proactively work with patients to ensure timely and accurate billing as a courtesy. Furthermore, the handling of the billing issue during a phone call was unapologetic, which added to our frustration. I'd also like to add it does seem like they may incentives positive reviews.

Positive experience: Nice people. Wait times are too long and I don’t like the open design of all the chairs being so close together. The people next to me should not hear what is going on with my child’s teeth.

Fantastic experience: 1st time we went before covid was wonderfully helpful, so getting back on track found their number and called to set up appointment to keep teeth healthy. Been back again for cleaning and there is always a place that just doesn't get clean enough. Small cavities found and taken care of nice and easy. The dental team was really good keeping kid side tracked with different chatter about the movie playing and other things. Have to watch that Bite Down when you are numb, bit their cheek good. Bleed for a bit then fine. Kids grow but their mouths sometimes don't grow fast enough. We couldn't figure out some pain, X-ray showed wisdom teeth not coming in correctly. Wow, kids don't keep wisdom teeth anymore. Oral surgery to have them removed.

He actually saw his toothbrush this morning and grabbed it on his own to brush, still excited from yesterday's appointment. Dr. Graham, Ms. Kiara, and Ms. Ciara are amazing. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Dr Graham and her staff. My son went to get treatment done on his teeth and come to find out by him brushing properly and them giving my son the best toothpaste his cavities resolved themselves. He was due for a cleaning too but no openings until Sept. well Dr Graham agreed to see him same day for his cleaning. I love how accommodating they have been since he will be off to college soon.

They are wonderful with the kids, my daughter loves going to the dentist (a huge plus, especially with a 6yo!) and I love that they explain everything to her in a way she can understand and answer all of her questions. This visit the receptionist took the time at a very busy time of day to figure out a billing issue for me, which was hugely appreciated.

Positive experience: Our experience is always good there!! However every time we go we are waiting at least 20-30 minutes past our original appointment time. I guess being someone who works in a salon and runs by appointments it’s very bothersome and feels like your time isn’t as important.

Positive experience: Wonderful dentist, compassionate and respectful staff however waiting times are becoming an issue. More often than not we are seen far after our original appointment times. Showed up at 2:45 for a 3pm appointment and we were even pulled from the waiting room until 3:45. I understand emergent things happen and once in a while would be ok but this is becoming a pattern.

Fantastic experience: Always such a wonderful and positive experience. Such great work is done by Dr. Graham and her team. It feels like visiting life-long friends while my children are getting excellent dental healthcare. I 100% trust my children in Dr.Graham’s care and I know she cares for all her kiddos with such skill and expertise while staying warm and friendly. The team has really made my children love the dentist. I let them know we are going to see our friend Dr. Graham and they just light up. Kylie did great with my children and the most recent visit was a “beach chair” with the sun as a lamp and it became a relaxing visit lol. Thank you guys for all you do!

Fantastic experience: Let me start off by saying you don’t find too many people who are there to ACTUALLY help you. Instead of just viewing you as a number or whatever. I had an issue where my child was covered but something was missing. I called around to everywhere but heaven it self to get the issue resolved and got no help. Kathy Kathy Kathy worked with me and went well above and beyond the call of duty to find out where the disconnect was. She clearly was sent from heaven and got my issue resolved quick fast and in a hurry. She showed by her actions that she cared for my child’s dental needs and more. I’m so thankful for her. We enjoy coming here and look forward for future visits.

Fantastic experience: A+, 100%, five stars, do recommend! My ten-year-old got his first-ever cavity filled here. The fact that they were able to complete the procedure is an endorsement in and of itself: a previous pediatric dentist wasn’t able to do so even using nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Dr. Graham was able to do so without—which I truly appreciate, since my insurance doesn’t cover it. (She saved me about $200.) Her hygienist Neviah set a great tone from the very start. She listened to me when I told her the part of the procedure my son had struggled with on a previous attempt, and she made a change in the equipment she was using as a result (specifically she sized down the silicone expander/suction device that sits on his tongue and hooks to his teeth). She was friendly, cheerful, and great with kids. She clearly explained to my son what was going to happen during the procedure, and throughout our visit she spoke to both of us directly. I appreciate that she didn’t talk over the top of him or ignore him in favor of me, which some providers tend to do. She demonstrated great eye contact, patience, and gentleness. When he had trouble holding the expander in his mouth without gagging, she introduced it slowly and gradually over the course of multiple attempts. When he would start to gag she would remove it, give him some time to recover, praise him for his cooperation and improvement, and give additional encouragement, guidance, and coaching. She did not rush, bully, or force. She did it all through positive reinforcement. By the time Dr. Graham came into the room my son was able to hold the expander in his mouth for a few seconds but not long enough for the procedure. They sized down again to the smallest size, designed for 2 to 3- year-olds. Because of Neviah’s coaching he was able to hold this smallest expander in his mouth throughout the whole procedure without gagging or panicking. When it came time to put numbing gel on his gums and hold it there for 6-7 minutes by biting down on gauze, she was attentive to his discomfort and suctioned his saliva periodically to help him maintain this awkward posture and overcome the bad taste. Dr. Graham showed equal patience and incredibly wise, sensitive judgment about when to respond to his anxiety and when to stretch and challenge him a bit (because if you stop for every whimper you only prolong the discomfort and increase the chances you won’t be able to complete the procedure). She gave him expectations about how long she’d be drilling by counting down slowly from ten and then taking breaks. She used smart, child-friendly, non-scary language in describing to my son the tools she was using. She also did a good job setting expectations for him: explaining what she could control when it came to his discomfort, and what discomfort was unavoidable and just had to be endured. Once we left the office and I had a good look at the filling, I was very pleased with its appearance. It matches the color of the tooth exactly. It’s only been a day since the repair, so I can’t comment on its sturdiness or longevity, though. I will also add here that Dr. Graham’s staff is so proactive and pleasant to deal with. Someone double-checked my insurance coverage to make sure she was giving me correct information. She even gave me insurance codes and exact prices to expect for co-pays. I truly appreciate her specificity, obvious familiarity with the process, and transparency. It is rare to encounter such respect and competence these days! Overall I am thrilled with our visit. I can’t think of a single thing to improve, and in the future if my kiddos need dental work, this will be the place I call first!

Fantastic experience: The whole office has such a good approach to working with children and it makes dental appointments much easier than I remember when I was a kid. The work they do is comprehensive and they provide clear explanations for the work that they recommend. Couldn’t be happier with a pediatric dental experience.

Negative experience: The space was overwhelming and the one receptionist i checked in with seemed bothered by doing check-ins, and after finally being seen an hour after arrival, the doctor seemed rushed. Then we were told we would have to wait 6 months for a filling. I do give two stars because the doctor gave me details of information I was not aware of and explained the information and approach.

Fantastic experience: **** Update.....we have had great experiences here on out and I look forward to having more. My daughter loves the dentist and does not want to go anywhere else. Thank you for making things better everyone. Our appointment was 3pm and we arrived at 230pm for a filling and 4 seals. We were taken to the room at 3 or a little after and that was fine. The seals were done quickly and as my child's anxiety grew we waiting for the Dr to come do the filling. A dental assistant came in a little before 4 and applied the numbing gel prior to the dentist coming in to give novacaine and complete the filling. We waiting and finally at 430 the dentist came in. At this point the numbing gel had worn off. The dentist just put the shots in and as I watched my anxious daughter cry in pain. The dentist said she couldn't feel it. We made it through it all but on the end my daughter is more scared of the dentist than she was before and she felt the shots in her mouth. The truth was reviewed by the dentist who forgot that pur appointment was at 3pm and not 4 pm. I feel the office is extremely understaffed and normally do really well. This was a bad experience.

Fantastic experience: WE LOVE THIS DENTIST OFFICE Dr. Graham & her staff are absolutely amazing & always accommodating! Super friendly, fast & clean. Most importantly, REPRESENTATION MATTERS!!! Our young black girls need to see familiar faces in doctor & dentist offices. It inspires them to believe that anything is possible & they too can make a difference!

Positive experience: We really love the dental hygienists and Dr. G! The waits for afternoon appointments are an hour long though which are not good at all. The appointment itself is quick. Recommend a morning appointment or early afternoon.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rana Graham-Montaque is magnificent with children. She’s had to show my son how to brush his teeth properly every single visit since he was 3 or 4 (11 now) and she’s never lost patience with his constant rhetoric and movement (ADHD and Type 1 Autism). If I remember correctly, my son may have bit her a while back, and she handled it like a champ (sorry again).I do constantly recommend this dentistry, not just for the dentist but for the amazing staff she hires. Everyone is just so pleasant and understanding. Everything from the lobby to the dentistry area is spotless and made with kids in mind! It’s also a black owned business and she is working that magic!
