Negative experience: I have been going to Sage dental since January and we are now in May and I still haven’t received my partials yet they took the money from my insurance company and have not given me the product that I have paid for . This is not a normal time frame . I have asked the office numerous times for the regional manager to contact me with no luck . All I keep hearing is that it’s a lab issue but nothing changes . What I don’t understand is why aren’t they pushing the lab to get me my product that I paid for . This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a dental office . This should not be taking this long . If someone takes your money and doesn’t produce the product you paid for in almost 5 months what would you call that ? I really could use someone who can help me with this and I’m sure if the office is reading this you know who I am . I called today and even after 3 weeks they still didn’t get the ones I had to try in . I was there about a month ago and they didn’t fit right so they sent it back to the lab . They said they were going to pay the 100 dollars so that I would get the partial quick if after 3 weeks it still hasn’t arrived what exactly did they pay the so called 100 dollar fee. It shouldn’t be this hard to get partials and again Sage dental in east Delray took my money for them and hasnt produced them . Someone help me

The entire staff the hygienist are absolutely fantastic, friendly accommodating, and most importantly honest with great thorough results. I’ve been a member here for over three years though absolutely love it…. I’ve been in Florida 15 years best dental experience since I’ve moved here. Thank you to everyone I say gentle. Valezka is the best hygienist.

Negative experience: This office deserves less than 1 star. Their licenses should be revoked. They were completely unethical in their evaluation of my dental needs. They noted areas of my gums that were "#5" with blood. All so that they could charge me for a deeper cleaning that is not covered by my insurance, and I would have had to pay over $100 for. I refused the cleaning. Went back to my old dentist a day later. My old hygienist remeasured my gums; he found NO "#5's" and no bleeding and no reason to do anything other than a regular cleaning. The charge for the regular cleaning, WITHOUT the Delta Dental insurance, was $65. Sage Dental and Delta Dental Insurance should be required to reimburse me for what I had to pay out of pocket because of their unethical tactics. PATIENT BEWARE! THIS OFFICE IS A TOTAL SCAM!

Negative experience: The worst dental office ever! Told me that I need a deep cleaning, which I do not. Changed my appointment twice as well as sending me to another location which is where they put in the wrong reason for my appointment so I was unable to be seen on the 3rd attempt. If you’re deciding to pick Sage dental, I would really think again about going to the east Delray. My time is as important as anyone else’s so for them to put me through all this runaround really unprofessional.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with my visit. I was told at my last appointment that I had cavities starting and would need X-rays, but when I came in, the cleaning was rushed (about 15 minutes), no X-rays were taken, and I wasn’t even seen by the dentist (as they are not here this week but no one told me)!!! The flossing was extremely rough and painful — just shoved up and down instead of properly curved around each tooth. My teeth have been hurting since. It felt careless and rushed, not thorough care.

Fantastic experience: Do to an accident, my retainer dropped into something unimaginable and I went into Sage dental and explained the situation and they recommended that I get sanitized instead of throwing out, which was my first thought They cleaned, sterilized and also didn’t take any money for the procedure. Very nice and kind. The office didn’t have to do that but it’s nice to know there are kind people around

Positive experience: When I booked an apportionment, I was told I would be able to get my exam and cleaning during the appointment. When I went to the office, they only did an exam with X Rays and no cleaning. As someone who works 8am-6pm during the week, this is incredibly inconvenient - wish I weren’t misinformed.

Fantastic experience: Two appointments were needed for the 4 cavities and one crown that required attention. Dr Vargas and assistant Marie were wonderful. They worked efficiently and with courtesy. Explaining everything they were doing. I was very pleased with their service, and asked for their names so I could leave this review. I recommend to anyone that needs Dental work. Clean office and friendly ataff.

Negative experience: They don’t answer the phone and you gey sent straight to voicemails. I’ve never experienced this issue at any other location. Unfortunately, phone appointments are not available, so timely appointments cannot be guaranteed. For now, I will return to the Sage location in East Boynton. It is unlikely that anyone will answer the phone ever because I’ve tried multiple times and it’s not good in the event of an emergency dental appointment

My experience with the dental hygienist went very well (Bianca) after informing me of the procedure and expenses began the cleaning. All and all my time there was a very cordial and pleasant experience. Thanks to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Got my first root canal with Dr. Newman. Him and his team were very patient and knowledgeable. I strongly recommend them. Dr. Vargas is extremely knowledgeable and caring with her patients, one of the best dentists I have had to pleasure to be patient of.

Negative experience: NEVER GOING BACK!!! Terrible experience from beginning to end. Had an appointment set, they called me to come an hour earlier because they had a cancelation. Sat in the front for an hour because everyone was on lunch. I had to finally complain, they got mad and brought me in. The girl that took the X-rays was in a bad mood. No introduction, didn’t explain what she was doing. Kept dropping things and whining about doing her job. Barely said a word to me. Then I had to wait 20 mins in the chair until the dentist came to see me. She was with me like 2 mins and that was it. They never explained prices, or procedures. Then the cleaning I paid $214 for a basic cleaning. The hygienist was friendlier but the cleaning job was terrible. I walked out with visible plaque in front teeth which I only saw when I got home. I can only imagine how much plaque was left in the back teeth. She flossed the front teeth only. That’s when I told her I felt something in my bottom front teeth, so she had to go back and take out a lot more plaque from the front teeth. If I hadn’t mentioned it she was getting ready to send me home. Unbelievable that I had to tell the hygienist how to do her job. As I was checking out, the front desk lady asked ME how much my total was. I was shocked because they had no idea. Definitely a disappointment a total scam for money.

Fantastic experience: The entire team at Sage dental on LINTON is absolutely wonderful. The hygienist are thorough. Take your time and really know what they’re doing. I’ve been going here for a couple years now and really love it. If you’re looking for a dentist in boca or Delray give it a try.

Negative experience: Only giving 1 star because there is no option for no stars. Went in for pain from wisdom tooth needing an extraction. Explained all of this while setting up an appointment. Went to the 1st appointment. Said it was infected didn't bother to write a prescription for anything. Had to go to urgent care to get antibiotics. They set up an appointment for the following week for extraction. Only for them to say that the appointment is for a consult with an oral surgeon. Horrible. How many times do we need to go there before they provide even a baseline level of care. It just a scam to bill insurance, find a different dentist.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with this dental office. It feels like they care more about making extra profit off each customer than actually providing quality care. Every time I came to this location, they try to upsell services and push unnecessary charges instead of focusing on what I need. To make matters worse, my hygienist was unprofessional and did a poor job. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking for honest and competent dental care.

Negative experience: I sat in a dentist chair for 45 minutes waiting for someone and then when I asked what took so long, i was told Sage Dental was understaffed and had overbooked appointments. Terrible customer service

Negative experience: My son had a scheduled and confirmed cleaning appointment at this facility. However, upon arrival, he was told he needed a full set of X-rays, which would cost $60, and that the cleaning would be scheduled for a different day. We have dental insurance, and he is entitled to one cleaning per year (perhaps even two, I'm not sure). He has never had a cavity and has never needed or been charged for full X-rays in the past, so this request felt unnecessary and unjustified—especially since he was there specifically to see the hygienist and get his teeth cleaned. Confused by the unexpected charge, my son contacted me. I called the facility to get clarification and was met with someone who was unable to clearly explain why a full set of X-rays was necessary. When I asked direct questions, she took offense and accused me of yelling. I was assertive but simply trying to understand the situation. Instead of focusing on resolving the issue, she made it about her personal feelings—more concerned with how she was being spoken to than providing real answers. Her overly sensitive reaction escalated the situation unnecessarily, and when I pointed out that she wasn’t being helpful, she responded with a condescending “goodbye” and hung up. Sadly, someone without the proper training or temperament to speak with clients should not be the one answering the phones. I immediately told my son to leave, as it became clear this was not a professional or trustworthy environment. As a result of this experience, neither my son nor anyone in our family will return to any Sage Dental location. Sadly, this isn’t the first time we’ve encountered unprofessional conduct at this particular facility. It appears they are more focused on upselling unnecessary services than delivering proper patient care.

Negative experience: STAY AWAY! They put the life of my unborn baby at risk. My pregnant wife came in for a routine dental cleaning and she filled out the pre appointment paperwork where she clearly stated she was PREGNANT! The staff carried on the appointment without reviewing the paperwork and completed a round of x-rays without notifying or asking my wife. It was only after the 1st x-ray that she realized what was happening. The staff freaked out and were unprofessional and did not know what to do after. If there is any complication with my wife's pregnancy or the health of my baby they will be hearing from my lawyers

Fantastic experience: This is one of the clients offices , but this office is the most friendly and accommodating . They really care and have bed side manners . And Ms Judy in the front always nice and makes the visit better because I hate going to the dentist ever since I had a bad experience when I was 18 years old . I do love this office!

Negative experience: I called gave my insurance explained that I needed a tooth extraction they said it would be covered by 50% I asked how much about it would cost they said they don’t know I then saw them waited 30 minutes in the waiting room they took X-rays looked at my tooth and said it needs an orthopedic surgeon and to reschedule in a couple days I asked again how much it would cost me they don’t know until Wednesday keep in mind that took another hour I went to front desk they told me my insurance won’t cover anything I got a bill shortly after for about 275 and I’m responsible for some of it they did nothing literally saw me for 3 minutes my insurance was supposed to pay I shouldn’t be responsible for their over charging my insurance go here if you like getting robbed and lied to it’s a sad state of affairs if you want quality dentists who are straightforward and fairly priced go to Lurie Dental in Delray Beach I’m going there now

Negative experience: Get an estimate and check it against your fee schedule because this place will try and charge you hundreds of dollars more than (in my case) Cigna sets for their members. Oh yeah…they also make up procedures that (in my case) Cigna doesn’t even have listed in their system. Shady. Real shady.

Positive experience: Setting appointments are easy friendly staff other than today . I was trying to check out and she said she was on a meeting. The other girl should be right out. The other girl never came out so she took care of the payment with an attitude. I forgot to ask her name but usually it’s a good experience there and I know they were feeling person that’s no longer there or on maternity leave. The checkout person couldn’t smile or anything She acted like she was doing me a favor by taking my money

Negative experience: They try to upsell you on treatments and/ or maintain insurance doesn't cover a procedure when it absolutely does. Staff can be rude and abrupt and waiting times are up to an hour. So many dentists in the area, not sure why anyone would choose this practice.

Negative experience: I have been going to this establishment since they have opened. Have seen dentists come and go. My last visit the dentist who seems fresh out of school said I needed a root canal and crown. I got a second opinion drilled and filled! Sage is like a car dealership selling a new fender when all u needed was a ding guy! Extremely disappointed and hurt from a loyal client for so many years!

Scottie is very skilled, meticulous, and takes the time to explain what she is seeing and doing at all times. She takes her time and makes sure it is done right and complete. I have learned more about dental care from her than in the rest of my life. My teeth and dental health during the period show this. She also is very pleasant with a great bed-side manner. I highly recommend Scottie, should you have the chance to be her patient.

The whole staff is nice and helpful and Scottie is been the best hygienist I have ever encountered who I look forward to seeing with each visit. I started coming here prior to getting dental insurance and their out of pocket costs were reasonable and now that I have dental insurance there is practically no cost for my visits. If you are looking for a good dental office you can stop your search here.

Negative experience: Be aware of the practices in this office,!!!! I was there a month ago. There is a new dentist crew. My cleaning was not properly done and they are charging me for a difference in service from last year. I have a new insurance since January 2024. They sent the code of deep cleaning to the insurance when I got basic cleaning. I knew something was wrong when I walked into that office that day.
