Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience at Sweet Tooth Dentistry today for my 21-month-old son’s very first dental cleaning! As expected, there were a few tears, but Beth was absolutely wonderful!! She was so kind, patient, and informative, making sure we both felt comfortable throughout the visit. Dr. Erica was incredibly sweet with my son, taking her time and making his first dental experience as positive as possible. The ladies at the check-in and check-out desk were also so friendly and pleasant, which made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I’m so happy we chose Sweet Tooth Dentistry. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate pediatric dental office!

Fantastic experience: Had our first appointment for my anxious 3 year old and they were the most welcoming staff . The hygienist took her time explaining and reviewing his care plan and eased my anxious mind about his potentially crying and screaming. I would recommend this practice to anyone. They have lots of flavor options and a cheerful surrounding , it’s really catered to a young crowd and it made it a smooth experience.

Fantastic experience: My 2.5 yr old, TJ had his first visit at Sweet Tooth today and I am so happy this is the practice I have chosen for my family. I was a little nervous about my sons first appointment as I have some anxiety around visiting the dentist myself. The waiting area was incredibly clean with kid friendly toys to keep my son busy while we waited. Robin was our hygienist and she really took her time to make sure my son was comfortable in the chair which made the appointment go really smoothly. She even offered gentle guidance to my husband and I around ditching the binky. Dr. Erica was incredibly sweet and answered any questions my husband and I had. When I left I immediately texted my other mom friends who have kids of similar age and said "10/10 recommend Sweet Tooth!"

Fantastic experience: Our daughter had her first dentist appointment this morning at Sweet Tooth & she loved it- we all did! We were so excited to see her name on the board when we walked in, she loved the waiting room activities too! Aime had a great chat with us, getting to know Payton a bit before cleaning her teeth. Once it was time to sit in the chair, Payton jumped right in & opened wide! Aime was so gentle with her & talked her through her whole cleaning! Dr. Erica came to meet us & Payton was happy to smile for her. We loved our first visit-everyone was so friendly, the office is super inviting & we loved our little goodie bag & picture to take home! We can’t wait to go back for our next visit!

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible experience at Sweet Tooth with our 8-year-old son, who has ADHD and struggles with significant anxiety related to doctors offices and dental procedures. After being told by two other dentists that he’d need general anesthesia in a hospital to take care of a broken molar and a few cavities, we were feeling discouraged. I found Sweet Tooth through local recommendations, and they were everything we needed: calm, kind, and patient. The office is small, quiet, and welcoming. It wasn’t overwhelming like others we tried. They used nitrous oxide in-office, worked with our (out-of-network) insurance (Aetna Dental), and took the time to build trust with my son. From the consult to the procedure, they moved at his pace, helped him feel safe, and treated him with genuine care. He was actually laughing during his consult and later told me he liked the office because “they just made me feel comfortable.” They completed all the necessary work in one visit with zero issues, which we’ve never had before. The whole team, especially Dr. Pitera, Beth and Kelly, were wonderful. I truly can’t recommend Sweet Tooth highly enough. It was worth the 45-minute drive many times over and it was worth the out of network cost, where the other dentists we tried in-network were just not up to the task! Thank you to the whole team at Sweet Tooth, it really was such a great experience for us! You are truly amazing at what you do!

Fantastic experience: Great experience! I was relieved and grateful after the recent visit with my nervous 7 year old daughter. That was our first time there and 1st time for her to have dental work done other than a cleaning. Kelly and Dr. Erica were so good to Amelia and made the whole appointment go very well. Amelia didnt want to leave! Thank you so much for taking great care of her and making it such a positive experience that she will remember!

Fantastic experience: Such an incredible experience! I was blown away with just how truly toddler friendly the environment was. Even the waiting room was toddler appropriate with toys and safe areas to explore. The staff was so kind and informative. It is like someone dreamed up and created the best child friendly dentist experience possible. They even sent my 17 month old daughter off with a balloon that she’s been playing with for the past hour! :)

Negative experience: When I began bringing my daughter here it started off really great, welcoming name on a sign, liked the waiting area, appealing to the children, gift bags for the child, most of the staff pleasant- No complaints on that. However, as my daughter got older, her last couple visits she became more terrified, a lot of anxiety. The last visit, they brought her into a separate area ( more private ) because they knew she wasn’t going to be calm and easy. Well that in turn added to her anxiety because it was out of the norm. The female dentist was a little cold and short. Not very comforting. Because of her traumatic experience I waitted a long time to bring her back to allow enough time to pass, maybe a mistake on my part but now they say they “can’t “schedule me an appointment because it’s been to long. They will ONLY allow us to come if there’s a last minute cancelation. How would that ever work for a single working mom and a child in school. These things need to be planned ahead of time. Very displeased with this practice and for that I would not personally recommend.

Fantastic experience: My son Lorenzo had his first dental cleaning at Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry and he loved it!! Everyone was so sweet and made him feel very special and loved. Beth was so kind and explained everything to him when cleaning his teeth! All of the woman there were amazing and my son loved his first cleaning! Dr.Erica was also very sweet and even helped with a question about my daughter via email. I love the professionalism and the office is cute as a button! Lots of great color, games and super cool sneakers work by all I recommend this office to everyone!!!! 1 million stars are not enough!!

Negative experience: They harassed me for 3 days about a bill when my HSA card didn’t work and it was a clerical error!! So we are changing dentist! Very disappointing in there billing staff - rude and disrespectful

Fantastic experience: My kids had such a wonderful and welcoming first appointment at Sweet Tooth. Everyone was so gentle, caring and happy with taking care of my kids that they felt super comfortable while their teeth were cleaned. The whole team thinks of every detail to make their little patients feel good about their visit, including writing the kids names on a welcoming board and taking pictures of the kids for them to take home. I am so glad we found Dr Erica and her team!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Erica has been our Dentist for our daughters for several years. She and her staff have always been wonderful (and extremely patient) for routine cleanings. Thankfully we have not really required them for anything other than routine cleanings, but over the weekend our 9 year old daughter cracked her molar when biting on a ring pop (a valuable lesson was learned in that moment). I sent an email on Saturday night just seeking guidance for Monday with zero expectation of getting any kind of response on a weekend. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a response on Sunday morning asking for pictures for Dr. Erica to take a look at. After sending photos, it was determine that our daughter did indeed need to be seen by Dr. Erica so we made arrangements to be there bright and early on Monday morning. As you can imagine, a 9 year old with a broken tooth with a fear of having to get it extracted is a recipe for disaster. We walked in and Dr. Erica took a look right away and did determine that the tooth needed to come out - but luckily it was also a baby tooth causing a bit of an issue anyway - so she and her assistant immediately put our daughter at ease. They worked their magic and did not miss a beat. Between Netflix on the TV and their speedy work, that pesky tooth was out in less than 3 minutes and our daughter did not feel a thing. I realize this review is long winded but I thought it was important to demonstrate how absolutely wonderful this office is. Every single point of contact whether via phone, email or in person provides exceptional care and service. I wish I had a dentist like her when I was a kid. It would have likely saved me from years of dental trauma and anxiety. Our kids have a positive experience every single time they go to the Dentist which is so incredibly important so that they will look forward to seeing the Dentist and not be afraid which will ultimately encourage a lifetime of excellent oral health. Thank you Dr. Erica and team!

Fantastic experience: My 20 month old son had an amazing first dentist visit. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome & at ease. The waiting room is a blast for littles, making it feel like an exciting outing to play. The staff were incredibly friendly and really took the time to sit down and chat about his care. My son loved his Mickey sticker & new toothbrush. They also sent us home with a my first visit picture/magnet. It’s literally a luxury experience-so pleasant, and not medical feeling at all! The office is also decorated so thoughtful & kid friendly. Thank you for a great experience, so my son grows up enjoying the dentist

Fantastic experience: My daughter (Age 2) has had two visits so far at sweet tooth pediatric dentistry and I am absolutely blown away by how wonderful every staff member is here! Both visits my toddler was nervous, the staff was very sweet and took their time showing my daughter all of their tools, letting her touch them and talking with her about what each tool does, letting her pick out her tooth brush and flavors of her toothpaste and fluoride with fun pictures. They sat with her and talked with her before cleaning her teeth leaving us both feeling relaxed and not rushed at all! During the teeth cleaning my toddler would obviously cry, and the staff has always been very gentle and patient with her. They talk through what they’re doing and keep themselves extremely calm while getting the cleaning done as quickly as they can. Afterwards they give her a sticker and make her feel really good about getting her teeth cleaned and my daughter always leaves feeling very proud. I wouldn’t bring my kiddos anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: My baby had his first visit here, and it was not excited to say the least! Even with him screaming at the top of his lungs, the staff were gentle and understanding through it all. It amazed me how even through the crying, they were able to do a thorough job. It’s clear they have experience and care about their patients, regardless of their state. Will definitely continue going here for his future visits.

Negative experience: My daughters teeth where left in poor condition, all they did for a cleaning was brush her teeth with a regular tooth brush. Tons of plaque and tartar left behind. Finding a new dentist. They act like they don’t even care, when your concerns about your kids teeth!!!

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience at Sweet Tooth! My visit with multiple children for cleanings went so smoothly. Then a return visit with my 7 year old to see Dr. Erica & her assistant Laurie went so much better than expected. She got to watch the Taylor Swift concert, and they both sang the songs throughout the visit all while getting the work done. My daughter was so pleased she wants to go back for more!

Fantastic experience: We took our 2 and 4 year old daughter here for the first time at the start of 2024. This practice is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately the last pediatric dental practice we went to wasn't very kid friendly. I am so glad we made the switch! The staff was so calm and patient and kid friendly. Both my girls climbed right up onto the chair for their cleanings and enjoyed their visit! I highly recommend Sweet Tooth!! My 2 year old loved her sunglasses so much she wore them for the rest of the day!

We wernt there very long which was also very nice when it comes to alittle one. It does feel alittle outdated but over all It seems like a nice place.

Fantastic experience: My son is 13 months and had staining on his teeth despite diligent brushing at home so I was really worried. As a new patient, they got us seen within a week which is unheard of and that spoke volumes to me. We had our first visit today with sweet tooth and I was blown away. Everyone from reception, to RDH to dentist were wonderful. They quickly diagnosed what turned out to be a benign condition and removed the staining. It takes a special person to deal with pediatric patients (and the patience of a saint) and I appreciate the care my son received today immensely. My mind is at ease that nothing concerning is going on and I’m so happy to have found a pediatric dentist that not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: My 3.5 year old daughter’s first visit went very well. The staff made sure she was comfortable, they are exceptional with children.

Negative experience: Ive been taking my child here since she was four. We recently switched insurance and i am only asking them to post date a payment until January. Our insurance already paid 80% of that payment. They said no. I havent been able to get my daughter to the dentist for this reason. The doctor was great but thats where it stops. Money comes over my childs health. That is the message i got. 80% isnt enough to post date a payment apparently. So disappointed to have to switch dentists, we really liked them.

Fantastic experience: Was referred to Dr. Erica by my child’s dentist for a challenging cavity. This was the most amazing child pediatric experience I’ve had. The place is awesome (they have a TV on the ceiling with Netflix and Disney+), the staff is very friendly and they exactly how to make kids feel comfortable. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Sweet Tooth is amazing all-around!! The front office staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The techs and assistants are very talented, warm and friendly with both kids and adults. Dr. Erica is truly amazing with kids and has a calm, nurturing energy that puts kids at ease. Both my daughters (ages 4 and 7) had multiple visits at Sweet Tooth recently with significant dental work done. Dr. Erica talked them through everything, gave them breaks as needed and let’s not forget the prize box and fabulous kid-friendly waiting room. I highly recommend Sweet Tooth for all ages!

Negative experience: Tech was great that did the cleaning but the actual female dentist was rude and unprofessional when my husband brought my 3 years old son. She was very dismissive and stayed that she was taking time off so wouldn't treat my child. I think the 5 stars they got goes to the Techs. The dentist does not have the personality to be working with small children.

Fantastic experience: Adorable dentist's office, both of my kids loved it! Very welcoming atmosphere both for children and adults, and the staff are all very sweet. Best dentist's office I've been to by far, so glad I was referred to it!

Fantastic experience: My children squeal with excitement when I tell them its time for us to go to Sweet Tooth. From the moment you walk in everything is tailored for children: great waiting room with fun kids activities and cute photos on the walls of other children posing and being silly. I really enjoy how interactive each visit it. The children pick their own floss flavor, tooth paste, stickers and even toothbrushes. I have a 2 and 5 year old and I am able to have both seen at the same time which is a huge win for convenience in my book. I find Dr. Erica's dental exam very thorough and I am given insight into baby teeth, adult teeth and teeth placement. The office does a good job with social media and my children enjoy seeing the office in silly costumes and photos the office posts.

Negative experience: If I could give this place zero stars I would! My kids have been going there since babies. I noticed my kids weren’t being treated properly. Low and behold!!! I took my kids to another place for a second opinion, one of them told only had 2 cavities. Turns out has more than the dentist could count ‍♀️ we were shown detailed pictures and the dentist was in disbelief we were told there were only 2 cavities. Mind you my child complained of discomfort multiple times only to be told to use sensodine. I feel ever since Dr Carter passed this whole practice including reception has done down hill! Now we are left with the repercussion of their neglect or lack of knowledge. Spare your teeth! You’ve been warned

Fantastic experience: Sweet tooth was amazing. It was our first visit, and they were all so welcoming and nice. I loved that we sent in a consultation room first before we were brought back and just started going right into looking in my sons mouth. They made sure we were both comfortable, we knew what they were going to do, and asked if I had any questions. Sweet Tooth Dentistry is amazing, and all the staff was wonderful with my son, and they are so welcoming. Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a pediatric dentist.

Fantastic experience: My little guy had his first dentist appointment this morning and we wouldn’t have changed a thing! All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, interacted with us and went above and beyond! The environment was bright and appealing to kids. They even write their little names on the welcome board! Robin took her time with us and even went on a hunt for paw patrol items after learning that he loves them! She kept reassuring me that he was doing a great job and showed him all the little tools before she used them. Dr. Erica was friendly, informative and encouraging. If I could give 10 start I would! Fantastic experience: My 1 year old isn’t a huge fan of people putting their fingers in his mouth. First visit there. They had a nice welcome sign up with his name on it. The hygienist started the visit taking us into the consult room and explaining everything that would be happening and gave us the heads up my 1 year old may get upset. However, there were no tears. Dr Erica is super nice and knowledgeable, as well as her staff. It made our visit super enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Fantastic experience: I took my 2 and a half year old in for his first ever visit to the dentist and it was such a WONDERFUL experience! The staff was so great and explained everything to my son. They made it a fun experience for him! Can’t wait to bring in our little one soon.

They utilize the amazing STA Wand which was totally painless for our son... Dr. Erica is very kind, and is a top notch Dentist!!! Our son had half of his dental work done recently, and we will be returning in a few weeks to have the remaining dental work performed... we are so glad we found Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry, and wholeheartedly believe you and your beloved child will have an awesome experience with these wonderful and skilled providers!!! Fantastic experience: I cannot begin to say enough amazing things about Sweet Tooth! In addition to being able to get in for an appointment so quickly, when my son went for his first visit and they made it so very comfortable for him. He’s almost 2 and we thought it would be a tough experience for him, having never been before. The staff at Sweet Tooth made it the complete opposite of that. Everyone was so understanding, patient, and gentle with him. They are very thorough and informative about his dental health and took the time during our visit to educate us on how to successfully clean his teeth. My son has been talking about his visit since we left, and we cannot wait to go back in 6 months! Without a doubt, best pediatric dentist around.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great first experience at Sweet Tooth with my three year old daughter today. All the staff were very kind and patient and my daughter loved her time there! I especially appreciated that they took a photo of her and printed it out with a cute magnetic frame for us to take home. That extra attention to detail made our first trip extra sweet. Such a great kid-centric space, and unlike many medical offices, we never felt rushed to get us in and out! Fantastic experience: My 2 year olds just had their first dental visits with Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry. Everyone was very welcoming and kind to the kids which made the visit enjoyable for everyone! They have plenty of toys throughout the office to keep the kids entertained. They did a great job explaining the procedures to both me and the kids.

Fantastic experience: Great experience today at Sweet Tooth! Robin is a great dental hygienist. She had realistic expectations in regards to how my 18 month old son would act. She really got down to his developmental level as well as taking the time to educate me on dental practices. The open concept of the practice is great for an active toddler! Will definitely be returning and would recommended Sweet Tooth for children of all ages.
