Fantastic experience: This is a review of my Dental Hygienist Elizabeth ( aka Liz ), at Apollonia Dental. Let me begin by saying Liz not only has "the hands of a surgeon", but she also has the unique style and ability to make me, as a patient, feel totally relaxed, less anxious, and important to her. Liz, is not only incredibly gentle and thorough, she is very educational and efficient too. Liz, always explains my X-rays clearly, and cleans my teeth with just about "zero pain." Liz is both as a hygienist, and as a person, a warm, friendly, and completely professional person. She also has the rare quality of being able to explain how to improve my brushing technique, without making me feel guilty and/or embarrassed about my teeth and myself. Liz without doubt is the best dental Hygienist I ever had. My entire appointment with her is always comfortable, quick, and entirely stress free. I would highly recommend her to absolutely anyone who required this type of dental treatment and care.

Fantastic experience: Not the biggest fan of going to the dentist as someone who is anxious about dental work BUT this office and team have changed me! I had some pain suddenly and they were able to get me in right away and Dr. McGrath was quick and efficient with finguring out what was wrong. The staff was so kind and I scheduled a cleaning while I was there and went for my first cleaning w/ Liz as the hygenist today and she was so knowledgable, kind and put me at ease. It was the best dental cleaning I have ever gone to. The front desk staff was so helpful and Sarah explained the insurance process to me, which is always appreciated! The front desk staff do a fantastic job working with your insurance and making sure you understand all your costs for procedures. My hygienist, Liz is not only professional and knowledgeable but warm and engaging making my cleaning visits feel more like I’m visiting a friend, one that has my best interest at heart. Working closely with Dr McGrath they provide the best care and a thoughtful approach in dealing with my dental needs. If you’ve been forced to switch Dentists because of insurance or have decided to make your dental care a priority, I highly recommend Apollonia Dental and especially Liz as a hygienist.

Negative experience: Whenever I have an appointment with Dr McGrath I have got zero problem showing up !! He is always kind and listens to everything I have to say before, during and after my procedure. Also, his supporting staff is made up of fantastic, friendly!!!!!

I came here after I was suffering pain from a filling a few weeks earlier at a different dental office because they were able to get me in the same day. Dr. McGrath took the time to go over some of the possible explanations. Ultimately, he did a bite adjustment which provided immediate relief. I felt extremely welcome and the staff were warm and made me feel comfortable. The place itself was also really clean and inviting, which is always a plus. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: All the staff were courteous and supportive. As a first time patient every step was explained and the hygienist checked in on how I was feeling during the cleaning. X-Rays were taken, a base cleaning was done and the dentist was very knowledgeable about how to proceed with my case. I was given a referral and my insurance was processed without an issue. I also really appreciate that that the office has text/email reminders for appointments

Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had the best checkup and cleaning of my entire life at Apollonia Dental in Middletown. Although I have only been into the office two or three times post-COVID, the new owner and staff are incredibly friendly. This time I had bote-wing x-rays, and for the first time ever there was no discomfort at all. I have also had good success with the tips and suggestions that the hygienist and dentist have offered on previous visits, reinforced on this visit. Although I have moved away from Middletown recently, I intend to continue to rely on Apollonia for my dental care.
