Fantastic experience: Everyone here is amazing and so welcoming. They really take care of my babies and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Going to the dentist is scary enough, they make it fun! They get a token to put in a gumball machine for a prize and get a goody bag after each visit. Love this place!! Highly recommend I always tell my friends when they have kids. My kids love it here

Also they are so great with trying to schedule accordingly and calling for any openings, as well as reminders for appointments. It really is so easy to get my boys in and out. Fantastic experience: All my kids from 8 year old to 1 year old go here. They work great with my children. Dr. Van Sicklen and his staff are polite and makes sure we know all the options and information. He did a great job with my 3 year old while she was under general anesthesia.

Fantastic experience: Surfin smiles…. Dentist of the year? We had a 1 o clock appointment and we showed up early to find the door locked! Oh no …. Wait the staff is finishing lunch and preparing all stations… 1:00 the doors open, 5 family’s are quickly checked in and sat, I the last in line got my first time paperwork and before I could fill it out all of the children In The waiting room were called back to begin, my children included, we took some pictures and cleaned some teeth, followed by the most gentle kind soul of a dentist who took my kids hand and showed him the tools and let them touch and watched tv an got sunglasses, my kids received nothing but love and compassion and as a bonus clean teeth… Stay Surfin !

Fantastic experience: Dr. Andy and his staff are the best. My 5-year-old son had a few traumatic dental and medical experiences at other offices around 3-5 and I was desperate to find an office with a gentle and caring staff that would take their time with him. A friend recommended Dr. Andy and his office and they provided exactly what my son needed. During each visit, the hygienists provided a heads up re: what they were going to be doing next and why. They let him touch and feel some of the utensils and instruments so that he could know what they were before they started working in his mouth. That mental preparation for a nervous child goes a long way. Highly recommend this office for nervous kids.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but raving reviews about Surfin Smiles Kids Dental Care! I have a child on the spectrum who is non-verbal and has extreme difficulties with medical procedures as well as day to day activities. I haven’t been able to make much progress with his dental health UNTIL Surfin Smiles. Starting from the staff at the front desk always kind, professional and get to things in such a timely manner. To the dental assistant’s especially Amy who for the first time was able to get a X-ray done for us which we have attempted before sadly without success until now! Amy is always so kind and helpful. You can tell she loves her job and cares about our children! Dr. Andy he has been such a help ! He is a very patient and professional Dr. who has definitely found his calling! I will be recommending Surfin Smiles Kids Dental to everyone who asks! Thank you for all the help and great work you do!

Fantastic experience: Finding a doctor who works well with children was incredibly important to me, especially since my 5 year-old struggles with social anxiety. Surfin Smiles has truly exceeded my expectations. The doctor is phenomenal, and so is the entire team.Their ability to connect with my child made all the difference. In addition, with my background in dental office administration, I had quite a few questions and they communicated with me clearly and thoroughly, which I truly appreciated. All around, this is a five-star dental office!

We’ve been seeing Dr. Andy and his wonderful staff for over 5 years now and even though it’s not a short drive for us, we look forward to each and every visit! My son and daughter always look forward to their routine cleanings, with the guidance of Dr Andy and hard work at home my kiddos have managed to stay cavity free, all the staff is very nice and accommodating, and Hugo does an amazing job with cleanings! I cannot recommend this office enough! They’re amazing!

Fantastic experience: we love surfin smiles! Our 3 year old has been going there since the beginning and they have been so kind. The first couple of appointments she was nervous and cried. Now at her 3rd one as a 3 year old, she told us in the car that she is excited to go to the dentist and everyone is so nice there. When she was 1 and 2 years old and nervous, they let me move the chair so I could sit right next to her, and they let her choose the show on the TV. They have sunglasses that they give the kids to wear so the lights don't shine in their eyes, a goodie bag.They let them choose the flavor of toothpaste that the hygienist brushes with. Even though they are extremely busy, they are so kind and take the time to talk to all the kids. They also do not shame children for having cavities. I overheard the staff talking to a child who had to get fillings when we were getting x-rays, and they were so nice about it all and were comforting to them while explaining everything. Seeing how they treated the kids who had cavities made me glad we decided on this dentist office. I have dental anxiety so knowing our kid loves the dentist and is going to a kind office that treats her with respect is a huge relief. They are the best!

They made my son’s experience comfortable for him. And Dr. Van Sicklen was very patient and explained every step of what he was doing to treat him. Fantastic experience: I have never in my life written a review but my heart felt like I should write one . My son is a special needs child and has lots of sensory issues. The last time he was seen by a dentist was around 3 yrs old and that wasnt a good experience, then i tried finding another one and that was a horrible experience, anyway im in a groups mom on fb and most of them recommend Surfin smiles and my goodness they are the most patient staff and i was just so shocked how they were able to work with my son i was extremely shocked as i wasn’t expecting a good outcome. I loved how the doctor dentist was so patient and wasnt over doing it as he has sensory issues. These people are wonderful!!!! So glad i found them.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dental office I’ve ever been to for kids. I have an autistic 4 year old who we struggle with when it comes to brushing teeth due to sensory issues so he had quite a bit of cavities. Let me tell you, the staff and dr did AMAZING. They spoke to my son every step of the way and let him know they were getting rid of the “sugar bugs”. They communicated so well and my son literally wants to go back. They are amazing. Totally reccomend

Negative experience: The dentist is great, the office staff not so much. I had to reschedule due to a custody change which I have no control of and I was giving a “warning” and an ultimatum about it like if the change was by choice!! Im looking elsewhere idc if I have to go to another county that was unacceptable.

My son used to dread going to appointments until we started coming to this practice, and now I am so proud of him to see how confident he is to go (he is only 5). Front desk is organized and helpful. All staff make routine visits quick and even enjoyable! My child has had minor dental work here and, again, they do such a great job with teeth, and with helping kids and their families really feel comfortable there. So thankful for Surfin Smiles.

The Disney movies and prize machine are incentives enough to make going to the dentist less scary for my 5 year old.
