Negative experience: I have changed my review based on the experiences I have had this year. 6 years ago they were great and I had a great review but now they have certainly changed. I believe its the front desk ladies. Specifically Vanessa. First of all, I had an appointment for Feb 5th, for a evaluation of a loose crown that they installed in 2018. When I arrived, they said I didn't have an appointment. I showed them on my phone where I had replied to their email about that appointment. She basically just said oh sorry, I don't know what happened. I was like okay well can I wait to be squeezed in today? She said no but that I could be rescheduled. Then she had nothing available for after 4 pm so I had to take work off again to be seen 2 weeks later which was the 15th. This time, the dentist took a look, and said that they would have drill into my crown to tighten it and probably would damage the entire thing so that i would likely need a new one. I said I don't want to do that, but i would like a quote for a flipper. I asked them if they could give me a quote without my insurance because I want to get an implant later on there and my insurance will only cover either a fake flipper or implant, so I want to pay for the flipper and have insurance pay for implant next year. She brought me a quote back of $975 and said insurance would pay $100-ish. I told her again that I want to pay without insurance but that my other dentist would be only $600 so Ill go there. She checks her computer and tells me that without insurance it would be 600-ish. That makes no sense to me. When I went to leave, they said I needed to pay $67. I said no I'm not, Id like to talk to a manager. They said the manager Vanessa is away at lunch. I look over and she's sitting in an office 15' from me. I asked if that wasn't her right there (within earshot) they said yes its her but she's not available right now. I asked if she could call me to discuss. They said yes but didn't ask for my number. As I walking out the girl said in a sarcastic voice " have a great day." They are very unprofessional, inexperienced in customer care and frankly just not fit to be working the front desk. Its now been 4 days and I still haven't got a call from Vanessa, I even emailed them last Friday. Its so unfortunate what's happened to this place. I used to really like them. Previous Review: I chose to go to this dentist originally because of the proximity to my home and wow did I get lucky. Dr. Stark was so friendly. I, like most , get instant anxiety as soon as I get into the dentist chair. But during my procedure, he was talkative and put me at ease and even used a numbing agent that would not cause my heart to race like most do which makes anxiety worsen. I had more tooth pain and they got me in the same day and quickly diagnosed the issue. I could tell from the waiting room that they had a lot of people that day and yet, everyone from the assistant (Tina) to Dr. stark wasn’t rushing me in and out but instead really was extremely friendly and able to answer all my questions. No one seemed to mind that I had my 6 month old and 2.5 year Old in tow and they sure werenr quiet. Oh the dental hygienist I had was also a absolute peach...Kelsey I think her name was. Front desk ladies are extremely helpful and friendly . These folks all share the same temperament and attitude which likely means that the owners care about their employees who in turn care about the owners so everyone is happy !! Thanks smiles!

Negative experience: This dentist put me through the worst pain I've ever experienced. I went in for x-rays and to start a treatment plan for a cavity in one of my k9 teeth. They seemed great until they were actually operating on me. They were talking to each other about random subjects and did not explain anything to me after they began. When they started drilling I felt it. I started crying and lifted my hand (which is what they told me to do if I needed them to stop). The dentist continued working on the tooth as he asked if I felt that. He seemed surprised and stopped after 5-10 excruciating seconds passed. He re-numbbed me and continued. The whole operation cost almost $4000. A few days passed, and the new tooth fell off, and most of my remaining tooth came out with it. When I went back in, they took x-rays, and the dentist's plan to reapply the tooth was to put a stake in it. They would not discuss other options, and I did not feel like I had a say. I never went back as I no longer felt safe in their care. I would advise you to go literally anywhere else and ALWAYS READ THE LOWEST REVIEWS FIRST!!

Positive experience: Lindsay is great and always does a wonderful job. The cost for dental work is too expensive. I needed a tooth pulled so I had to go elsewhere and saved about 60%. Retired on a fixed income need to save where I can.

Negative experience: This place is an absolute joke. Every time I come in to have something fixed it’s worse after I left! Fillings fall out. Can’t bit down after a crown. Different dentist every time too. Save yourself and choose somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: First let me say I don’t like to go to the dentist; that being said, Smile Dental made my visit go smoothly and they allowed me to take breaks when I needed to. I needed two crowns put on before I could get a TMJ retainer; and at the same time they treated my husband and got him ready for a partial denture. He has Alzheimer’s, (he gets confused and has panic attacks). They were so thoughtful, took the time to explain what was going on (sometimes repeatedly), and allowed his caregiver to stay in the room with him, for his comfort. If anyone has any concerns, emotionally, mentally, or physically; I highly encourage and recommend you call and talk to them. They will meet with you and have a plan in place to make sure your concerns are addressed and explain the procedure in detail, making sure you understand everything. They go above & beyond to make sure your procedure will be successfully performed and your concerns and/or needs addressed. Thank you, Smile Dental, for how you treated my husband, your technician treated him with the respect. Your people made my worries for my husband’s treatment as low as possible. I know that I don’t need to fret about future appointments. Again, let me say thank you.

Fantastic experience: Best service I've had at a dentist place, they try to save as much tooth as they can instead of insisting I needa procedure if it's savable. Super nice and understanding of my anxiety louiza was super nice, jaida was super talkative and helped distract me during a extraction that made me nervous, I forgot my dentist name but he was super informative and gentle as much as he could. Best place I've been to in 13 years

Fantastic experience: As much as I have the worst anxiety and fear of going to the dentist (and still do) they all do so well being understanding and patient with me. They never seem annoyed and they all seem to genuinely care about you. My whole family goes here for that reason. I recommend them!

Negative experience: I came here for orthodontics treatment to straighten my teeth. My teeth were already pretty straight at the time of the consultation; however, at the end of the treatment, not only did I not get my desired results, but I have a bite problem which will have longterm consequences of wearing out my front teeth. This treatment costed thousands of dollars, but now I have to pay thousands more to get my teeth fixed elsewhere. They may put up a smile and act nice, but they don't care about your well being at the end of the day, only your business.

They gather all the necessary information about you so they can take of you according to your health and your dental needs. It showed concern I have not experienced elsewhere. Fantastic experience: Staff was wonderful. I was having jaw pain for several days, my dentist was closed on Mondays, so Smiles Dental was able to fit me into their schedule. I was sure it was a tooth problem, but after the exam the dentist found that my teeth were just fine. Prescribed a antibiotic and steroid for inflammation. I have always had a bit of skepticism of dentists because it seems so easy to say yes you have a problem with this tooth…now let’s get you set up for a series of procedures. They didn’t even hint at that. They pass my “let me see how far I can dig into your pockets” test. Would definitely recommend this office to everyone.

Negative experience: I have not had a good experience here. I went in for a quick couple of fillings and it’s turned into a nightmare. I have been in pain for three months now since the fillings. The first time I went in because of the pain I was talked down to by the staff explaining that it was just a filling and it shouldn’t cause pain. They treated me for sensitive gums. The pain continued and the second visit they sold me a mouth guard saying it was from grinding my teeth. After another week of pain and not being able to eat I go in again and talk with a different dentist that took a look at the fillings. He was very kind and helpful and said the fillings weren’t properly done. He then fixed the outside of the two out of three fillings that was sticking out too far and sent me home. The pain continues and I returned to the dentist. I was told that they needed to take the whole filling out. He drilled into my tooth only to find that the first dentist drilled past the tooth decay into my nerves. That was why I was in so much pain. They tried to do a root canal but didn’t have the tools needed so I was referred to a specialist. I have gotten one root canal and was told that possibly all the other teeth that had fillings will need them as well. I am now being charged to get all this work done and it is very frustrating. The pain alone is hard to handle let alone the financial pressure that is adding to this horrible experience.

As I arrived the “iPad tower” measured my temperature, I was greeted by friendly staff who was ready with missing info request to be completed in the iPad, shortly after I was greeted by my friendly hygienist Lindsay who took good care of me and made my experience as pleasant as it possibly could be ;).
