Fantastic experience: I am already incredibly pleased with the whole crew here! I was unfortunately turned away from my last dental practice as I had my daughter with me but here at Great Expressions, they opened both of us with open arms. They entertained my daughter while I got x rays and were so understanding and accommodating. I hope they get the credit they deserve because they quite literally are wonderful people. Follow up to add: after several visits here, I’m continuously happy with them all!

Negative experience: Don't go hear they try to say you need a crown and deep cleaning. Went somewhere else and didn't need any of that done. Wish I took pictures. Hole in floor boards, black marks on the walls, te instruments and equipment out dated, and machine had things broken on it. If I took pictures would of reported them. Stay away they deserve a 0 for rating.

Dra Beyra is absolutely wonderful—truly one of the most caring, talented, and compassionate professionals I have ever met. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, makes sure you feel comfortable, and treats patients with so much patience and respect. The assistant Laurita is amazing as well—so attentive, gentle, and supportive throughout every visit. The entire team works together beautifully and creates such a warm, positive atmosphere. The clinic is always spotless, organized, and runs efficiently. You can tell they truly care about their patients and take pride in providing top-quality care. It is not easy to find a dental office where every single person makes you feel valued, but this place does exactly that. I highly recommend Great Expressions Dental Centers - Cape Coral to anyone looking for exceptional dental care with a team that goes above and beyond. They have exceeded my expectations every time, and I am so grateful to have found them!

Negative experience: After receiving A temporary crown they had trouble getting it out when they finally got it out they put in the new crown. It was too tight. They took it out. Made it now put it back in. It felt good but then they said too much was taken off now, I have to go through the whole thing again.

Negative experience: I went here maybe about 2 months ago it was traumatizing I could hear my tendons, breaking in the back of my jaw as she forced a needle through,still till this day I have pain in my face when smiling. And on top of that I have pain on my right side when I eat. I have never in my life had tooth pain EVER !! And last but not least NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH while they work on you PLEASE DON’T BE LIKE ME AND GO HERE BECAUSE ITS CHEAPER YOUR TEETH ARE WORTH MORE PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! The dentist asked my husband if he had a dead tooth he said no it’s not dead. She then took the back of a metal dental tool and banged it against his tooth several times and then asked are you sure it doesn’t hurt if it hurts in a little while, let me know and I can give you a root canal. I don’t know how this is not medical malpractice, dirty dentist! The hygienist was great though she’s worth a visit

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sarduy is the dentist you want to care for you !! This is what she did for me. The reason I went to Great Expressions Dental was to have my broken lower partial replaced. Because I am short ( 4'11" ) I have small mouth. The trays used in making the impressions needed were too big !! She had her assistant make several impressions, but didn't like any of them. So, Dr. Sarduy had a special tray ( smaller ) tray made just for me !! Using that new smaller tray made the difference in making my new lower partial. Thank You Dr. Sarduy !!!

Negative experience: Horrible place for scheduling. You get the firts appointment at 8am for the dentist and she believes she can show up at the time that is convenience for her. I don't recommend it.

Negative experience: Update: I changed my review from 3 stars to one star because, after posting the review below, I was told that they have to take payment at the time of service, and they cannot wait until after they bill insurance. I pointed out to them about how they tried to over charge my husband, and we would have been owed a refund if they didn’t allow his services to be billed to insurance first. I’m assuming they billed insurance for him and not me because he’s a man, and the person at the counter is a woman. Either that or they make rules up as they go. Needless to say, I found a new dentist. I just moved from IL to FL, and this office is the first of many I called that gave me an appointment within a reasonable time. Also, my cleaning by Michael was terrific. However, there are several issues. When you make the appointment they don’t tell you that the exam and cleaning are not done on the same day. They take a million xrays, look at your teeth and then schedule your cleaning. The reviews about up-charging are accurate. I have been going to the dentist twice a year in IL for over 30 years, and I was never told that I needed a special cleaning. But on my first visit in FL I was told I need a cleaning in-between a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning. Also, my husband was asked to pay $169 for xrays, even though we have insurance. Thankfully he asked them to bill insurance first, because we only owed about $80. When I asked questions about our bills, I was always told something different. First I was told that legally they have to bill insurance for every procedure, even if the office doesn’t end up charging you. Then I was told if the office wants to give you a discount, they cannot bill insurance ??? My advice is to ask as many questions as possible because we were always caught off guard, including the rinse that they give you after your cleaning (it’s not coveted by insurance).

Negative experience: X-rays that where taken most recently where never sent to the new office I moved on to. This is in violation of Florida board rules. I will be filing a complaint about this incident. I know about these rules since I am a retired dentist. They don’t care about the patients.

Negative experience: Until my last visit I would have given this dental center more stars, I have been several times for annual exams and cleanings and always had a good experience. I recently needed a crown replaced and when I went to this center, I was told that my insurance would not cover the replacement without a root canal, I did not think that was right as I reviewed my insurance and they do pay for crowns. Then I was told they could not replace the crown and would need an implant. As this is extensive and expensive dental work I went to another dentist for a second opinion and the result..can absolutely replace the crown, the price of the crown was about 50% less and my insurance does cover it. Needless to say I will be changing dentist.

Negative experience: Came to have a filling fixed as It had chipped and was getting food stuck in it. Had it fixed to then have same filling fall out 1 week later. Went for a partial following visit. With my dental plan was going to be 1200. Told them last partial I did with another dental office was only 250. They stated that dental code (d5820) and procedure they do not do so had to pay 1200. Went elsewhere and got it done for exactly $250! Do not waste your time here…

Fantastic experience: I normally do not review medical/dental places but this is one of the best experiences I’ve had. The hygienist was amazing. The sad part is I didn’t get her name. Wonderful place! I went for a routine cleaning and before she started she put Vaseline on my lips to prevent them from chapping. Definitely would recommend this place. Hope it’s not just a first impression. I’m excited about my next visit.

Fantastic experience: The scheduling is always on time. The staff and Doctor Wendy are always polite. I’m usually pleased with my visits until today. I am not happy with my visit. I paid for a healing denture and extractions and my insurance paid their portion. Now is the time to have my permanent dentures and they are asking another 1010.00 This is absurd. I don’t appreciate being asked for additional money.

Fantastic experience: I had 3 awesome visits at the Cape Coral office! I had to have root canel and crown and the my took me through a 3 step painless process! They staff and team were awesome! They were friendly, informative, kind, and supportive the whole process! The whole time I knew I was well taking care of! Thank you great expression for getting my life back on the road again quickly and easily!

Negative experience: Last night I left them a message to call me for an emergency appointment. They open at 7:00am. At 8:00 I called and had same message, at 9:00, same message. Finally reached them at 10:00. I was given an 11:00 apt. After two more hours of waiting and sitting around, they were not able to help me today. They did want me to prepay for another appointment. No one excepts the receptionist spoke English, I needed her to translate. Terrible business practice. There was much more.

Negative experience: I wish I Could leave less than one star. From the moment I walked beyond the front door, I had an outright terrible and traumatic experience. Nobody introduced themselves, nobody would listen to my concerns regarding severe anxiety, panic attacks when it comes to dental visits. Additionally, nobody would listen to my concern with an extremely hyperactive gag reflex that is triggered as soon as there is any pressure on my throat or tongue. This made receiving x-rays beyond traumatic. I was simply told if you don't get these 12 x-rays, the dentist will refuse to see you. This was the most excruciating hour of my life, having to constantly remind staff how this needed to be done with me, staff continuing to not listen, an ensuing panic attack that staff did not care about, even inducing a vomiting episode from the experience. I still do not know if I even saw a dentist, because again, nobody even introduced themselves. However, all said and done, they were sure to provide me with an estimate for $1500.00 worth of work they felt I needed with no explanation as to why. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this practice.

Negative experience: Was not talked through any process and felt like I was getting scammed. They wanted to give me another filling without talking to me about it and neither cavity showed up on the X-rays. They also gave me a mouth wash without telling me it was a “treatment” plan. Overall felt very sketchy. One lady was very rude when confronting them about it

Negative experience: DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! worst dentist office ever. They say they take your insurance and after examined they charge you even insurance covers free examination and cleaning. They are the biggest scam. Very bad service

Negative experience: I am so disappointed; this place feels like a scam. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have dental insurance through my employer. I came to them and asked them to provide me with cleanings based on my allowed services under my plan. They scheduled me for three cleanings in one year and then billed me for extra cleanings as my plan only allows two. When I called to ask about this, I was informed that I requested the appointments and accepted the charges during the visits (based on estimates they provided that I do not recall receiving). I would not have knowingly exceeded my plan benefits. I received a bill six months after my appointment. My insurance processed and denied the claim the day after my date of service. I received the bill outside the claim window (as it is 180 days after the date of service) and my insurance will not reinvestigate. I'd recommend finding somewhere else to go that will work directly with insurance and understand plan policies/limits. I'm young, have great teeth, and should not be incurring additional stress or money for services that were unnecessary.

Negative experience: It was 5 stars now 1 Dr. Parsons is a great dentist to work with! The dentist always make me nervous, but she’s super helpful and nice. The whole staff is wonderful from the receptionist to the hygienist. A few years later Dr parsons left and the office isn’t the same. I will never go back. I was getting a temporary cap removed for the permanent one. I kept telling them it hurt and they held my hands down while pulling it out. It was so freaking painful. I was balling. I didn’t go back to a dentist for a year because of that. It was traumatizing. I found a new amazing dentist. Who helped me with my new found anxiety for dentists. I switched to Towncare dental on Cape Coral parkway. any kind of pain they stop immediately and numb it. They will even numb you for cleaning your teeth if they are sensitive.

Negative experience: I use this clinic because it’s close, not necessarily because of the service. I’m guessing it is franchise protocol but the practice of sticking a clipboard under your nose when you’re already in the chair, bib on, and getting you to sign your commitment to your costs is distasteful to me. I’m accustomed to a friendlier approach where staff discuss the plans and the options - and the costs - with the patient before she or he becomes captive, and actually has an opportunity to understand what the plan is and what potential options there are. I declined an invitation for a potentially needed ‘up sell’ procedure part way through my latest appointment, because I did not feel that laying back with a vacuum tube in my sedated mouth, was the most effective time to make what was possibly a significant financial decision.

Negative experience: Had two teeth extracted by Dr. Jordan G. three years ago. Made the mistake of not reading what I signed before the procedure. I have BC/BS High option dental plan, need extensive work. They charged me $223 which they said was my responsibility after insurance. I called BC/BS and they said it should have been $73. Turns out they hit me for $75 per tooth for some gel they used that was not covered. Needless to say, I will not be going back, nor do I recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: The staff were extremely friendly and very well trained in what to do for me. After being without dentures for about 5-6 years, it is a pleasure to have new ones. Great Expressions did a great and quick job on getting mine made and fitted to me. I highly recommend anyone to visit them for any dental and denture work. Fantastic experience: My daughter and I have been going to this office for at least 10 years, before Dr Parsons took over. I have never had a bad experience there. Dr Parsons has a great personality, very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff is great, also very friendly and accommodating. Jillian is the best! Tammy is very nice and they make you feel welcome. Granted, there have been a few hygienists I didn’t care for, but overall the rest have been great.

Fantastic experience: I had serious and extensive dental problems that had treatment deferred by Covid for two years. Gillian helped me navigate my insurance benefits to my best advantage. Aida was so calm and competant that she helped me manage my fear during scary and uncomfortable but important proceedures. Dr. Sarduy was careful in her assessment and methodical in creating a treatment plan that was both thorough and expedient. I could not be more satisfied with my results. Negative experience: These people don’t know how to do root canals, told me they could save a tooth doing a root canal. Once it was done, my temporary crown wouldn’t stay on after a couple of days. They told me i would have to remove my wisdom teeth and get bone surgery to get the crown to stay on. AND THEN they STILL charged me and my insurance for the permanent crown. I tried doing an insurance claim and it was denied they stated they already delivered the crown to me. F*%^* this place, seriously. EDIT 4/04/22 i went to a different dentist and they were able to save the tooth with a crown. Scam of a place..
