We were SO excited when we realized Dr.Angela Cosentino was our Dentist many years back when we lived in Naples. She is kind, caring, gentle and brilliant. You can tell her staff all loves what they do and enjoy servicing the customer. She takes the anxiety out of going to the dentist and makes you actually happy to be there!!!

Fantastic experience: I had not been to the dentist in 12 years because I was scared from past dentist experiences. I was scared to experience pain from the hygienist and dentist. I was also scared of the results. I was expecting to get the worst results on the health of my teeth because of how long it had been. From the moment I stepped in I had the most amazing experience. The check in was great, and Chrissy the dental hygienist was an angel to me. I told her it had been a long time since I had been at the dentist because I was scared. I told her I was still terrified and she was so sweet to me. She helped me relax and explained everything she was doing. She kept making sure I was okay the entire time by asking me if I was okay. She had so much patience and compassion for me. My anxiety and fears went away with her. She treated me so well and I felt no pain. She also gave me advice on how to floss and brush. I was surprised to find out I had no cavities. Best experience ever! I told her I am going to have my teeth cleaned twice a year with no fear now and I want her to always be my hygienist! Fantastic experience: My husband and I moved down from IL about 7 years ago, and we had a hard time finding a good dentist that took our insurance. We were lucky to stumble upon Surfside Dental. Dr Cossentino and her staff are simply awesome!!! I do miss Edma…as she transferred to the Ft Meyers office. But I had Erin yesterday and she was awesome too!

Fantastic experience: My husband was suffering from excruciating pain due to a cracked tooth on a weekend evening. I asked around for recommendations, and was directed to surfside dental. My husband had never been a patient at this dentist before, but Dr. Cossentino didn’t hesitate to come into the office at 9:30 PM to help him. She treated him right away and even completed a root canal on the spot. She was incredibly fair with the cost, especially since he doesn’t have dental insurance. My husband has had some rough experiences with dentists in the past, but she made him feel completely comfortable. She numbed him perfectly on the first try, and the entire procedure was painless. Highly recommend! He will definitely be a patient from now on.

Surfside dental opened another office in Ft. Myers which is super convenient, great staff there as well. Surfside dental is not the "chain of dentists" in the area, they will not rob your purse, telling you, you need this done, you need that done. Fantastic experience: It is now Ten years since I originally wrote the review below. Surfside Dental and Dr. Cossentino are still going strong, The difference is I am now 82 years old. The staff remains first class and they certainly have kept up with all the new technology. The best experience, in my 72 years, at a Dentist's office. Dr Cossentino and her staff are dedicated to the profession they practice. I have never seen dentistry practiced as an an art form where perfection and patient satisfaction is the ultimate goal. I was recommended by a friend after I had told him of the recent experience that shocked me. I was told I needed 5 teeth pulled and a $2,500.00 deep cleaning. That was told to me after the Dentist spent about 3 minutes with his examination. When I visited Dr Cossentino she assured me I did not need the teeth pulled and a normal cleaning would suffice. She spent quite a bit of time with the examination. I had cleaning that day and set a follow up to have the work needed done. About an hour in the chair and here I am with the teeth that were to pulled they look,feel and work fine. I could not believe the capability of Dr Cossentino it's amazing. She is a professional artist. I now have a confidence in the practice of Dentistry! Also the staff in the office follow right along with the dedication.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency visit with an abscessed tooth. I was leaving on vacation in two days and didn’t want to be away with tooth problems. I called and was squeezed in to get the problem evaluated. The abscess was drained, I got an antibiotic and a referral for a specialist when I return from vacation. Thank you Dr. Rothberg!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Cossentino. I was in excruciating pain out of nowhere late in the afternoon and was desperate to find a dentist who could help. I honestly didn’t expect anyone to be available, but to my surprise, Dr. Cossentino personally answered the phone and told me she could meet me at her office in five minutes. True to her word, she opened the office just for me, welcomed me in, and got everything set up quickly and professionally. After examining me, she discovered a severely decayed tooth that was pressing on a nerve — the source of the intense pain. She explained everything clearly and made me feel totally at ease. Within 10 minutes, she had completed the extraction — completely pain-free! I couldn’t believe how fast, efficient, and gentle the entire process was. Dr.Cossentino is not only skilled, but also incredibly kind, compassionate, and dedicated to her patients. She went above and beyond for someone she had never even met before. They fit me in the next day (snow bird)! Dr R did an outstanding job correcting my gum line cosmetically!! Super job and I couldn’t be happier!!!
