Negative experience: My daughter is traumatized from this dental office, and they lied about what work was done.

Fantastic experience: This dental office is absolutely phenomenal. My daughter has been here several times for different things, she does NOT tolerate the sounds well. The various tools make her scream during the entire procedure each time and all the staff is wonderfully patient with her, it means so much to me. They are all so wonderful, thank you for all you do! ❤️

Negative experience: Went there and the place didn't tell us exactly what was going to be done to my son had us waiting for over a hour telling us the second medication was going to make my son's memory fuzzy and if they had to strap him to a board ummm no my son is severely autistic and non verbal ur not going to give him medication like that...... what if it affects him long term ummmmmm i wouldn't take my kids there ever again and the fact that we had to basically deprive my son of food and drink for 12 hours before hand and they dont put them to sleep is completely messed up this is not a place for autistic children and special needs and does not have the communication skills for the patients well being and best interest nor did they ask about medical history in person or online

Fantastic experience: Very Professional, Ease in Scheduling, Very Friendly and Exceptional/Very Thorough Cleaning of my teeth. Laniah (Hygienist) and Dr. Lauren Hall-Tate make going to the Dentist a relaxing experience, with lots of care!

Fantastic experience: It was very child friendly. Doctor was calm and gentle. Staff were patient and helpful. Negative: no schefuled until July!

Negative experience: They are very unprofessional don't want to listen to any concerns and actually lied to my husband about what the plan was going to be for my son. I will never use this place again, and actually looking into sueing them for negligence. With Sam. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank everyone at East Lansing Dental for receiving us as new patient same day for my 4 yr old granddaughter that was in pain and couldn't eat for 2 months I was told from another dentist she had cavities and to take her to a pediatric dentist. Grateful and soo thankful for this team in jumping in with no hesitation to resolve my grandbabies pain. They took Xrays of their own, turns out no cavities! It was a piece of popcorn inbeded in her gums between two movers! It was Removed and one happy kid Ty! We will return for her 6 month's!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful I was referred to this dentist office. For starters, the environment was absolutely calming and comfortable for my 8 year old. They are patient and on their job here!! 10/10 recommend. Moving forward, this will be my family dentist

Fantastic experience: This office is always busy, and they book far out in advance, but the people who work there are all really nice and caring. Really great place for cleanings, general dentistry care, and they work well with other dentists for referrals, when needed. Great atmosphere & still utilizes distance rules for the safety/health of all. Very clean. Great staff!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough praises about this office. From the office staff to Dr. Tate they are all the most caring and effective individuals and as a team. We couldn't be happier with our childrens dental care. If you ever question a dentist, they arent for you. Dr. Tate is like family, and we feel like we are treated as part of the family. We love this office!

Fantastic experience: Was sent her for a referral but I think this will be our new main dentist! The environment was so welcoming, the staff was so good to my child!! He has to have a procedure so they explained the whole process, answered all my questions and treated us so well!! Even found out the doctors son is in some bands!! She shows me his music and it’s So freaking cool!!

Fantastic experience: I went in for several services and the staff there are amazing. The assistants are really down to earth and seem very genuinely nice. The dentist was super nice and patient. They talk to you like a normal person. The services performed turned out fantastic. I highly, highly recommend this dental office. By far the best dentist I've ever been to.

Fantastic experience: There are still Covid precautions. The staff was super nice and my son was so impressed he asked to go again. I'm not sure on scheduling issues because we grabbed a cancelation spot which was very nice.

Negative experience: One of the staff was rude to my daughter and myself, rude enough to have her in tears . I tried to ignore it I talk to the doctor about it and they acted nonchalant about it. My daughter already has a pobia when it comes to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: This was my baby daughter 1st time at the dentist and everything was great. The dental hygienist was very nice and understanding, my daughter cried of course everything is new to her, but at the end she stopped crying and waved bye, overall everything was great!

Negative experience: I wouldn't even give this dentist office 1 star I prefer 0 stars!! They were rude the moment I walked in for my 4 yr old son. Dr. Lauren hall-tate was rude with me because I didn't want to strap my son down to the chair to get his cavity done, I told them the blanket will be fine, but she belittled me and made me feel like a bad parent. All because she "was right" he did need to get strap down because he moved. I understand that it's procedure an the straps maybe necessary but I didn't want to make it so traumatic for my son. I didn't want him to be afraid that this was gonna happen every time he comes to the dentist. They didn't even talk to my son during the procedure to calm him or nothing just man handling him, shoving tools in his mouth. One nice white older woman came in an did the talking to my son calmly!! As it should of been everybody's job there to do so!! I won't send my son back there at all. And for anybody with little children that get sent here I wouldn't recommend at all either. My aunt said she had a bad experience as well with RUDE STAFF! RUDE AND DON'T HAVE ANY COMMUNICATION SKILLS!! DR. Lauren hall-TATE SEEMS AS IF SHE MAYBE NEED TO RETIRE IN MY OPINIO, AND TAKE SOME STAFF WITH HER! 0/10 DONT RECOMMEND!!

Everything from the Receptionist, Dr. Tate and the wonderful Hygienist (whose name I fall to recall a the moment ☹️), were ALL very pleasant and personable!!! Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the Covid prevention protocols. Everyone was kind and professional. They give a discount if you pay in full. Make sure they have a current cell no. for you so you can fill out the paperwork beforehand! Here again June 23. Same great care and Covid precautions. Thanks!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been seeing Dr. Tate for a VERY long time. She has been not only a wonderful Dentist, but also a dear friend. She treats my babies like her own, and has always been so kind to them. My husband also enjoys going to her office as well. She has made a huge impact on the community, especially with families who are newer to the U.S. Dr. Tate is also exceptionally skilled with children who have disabilities. My sister had significant health issues, and disabilities and Dr. Tate was amazing with her treatment and care. We are extremely thankful for her continued work with our family.
